United cancelled our flight from MSY -IAD - PUJ. We got the notification at 1:30 am the day of our flight that was supposed to be at 8 am. It put us in panic mode and there was absolutely no way we’d make our connection to IAD. We were immediately able to book our selves on Southwest at 5 am to HOU and onward to Punta Cana on Southwest. We had in our planning chose Sol Cana Transport to drive us to our Hotel Excellence El Carmen. We arrived in Punta Cana at 1:50 instead of the 4pm originally scheduled. Let me just say with the utmost professionalism and quick as could be the company immediately sent a van no wait no problem to pick our group up from the airport. Kelly arrived greeted us and our driver “Hector the Protector” with big smile welcomed us grabbed our bags settled us in the Van cool as could be with A/C. Hector was just as pleasant and respectful as could be. He drove us safely and was courteous to other drivers on the route. We also received a call from the dispatcher Tony who wanted to make sure everything was good. I highly recommend this group of professionals at Sol Cana and much gratitude to them. Deb Couraud USA

We had a large clear sign with our name on it, right outside of baggage claim, and a nice air conditioned private van waiting. Super reasonable price (we are doing round trip) and highly recommend.. we waited on hold for the resorts private transfer for 25 min before giving up. I’m glad we did bc this was way less$$$ and couldn’t have been better. Our driver Eddy is awesome and couldn’t have been kinder and more pleasant!! Highly recommend

You have to go outside and across the street to find the representative of the transportation company. Not a problem if you know to do that. The gentleman who helped us had a shirt with the logo and made sure we got to the van without any issues. It was pouring rain and I felt safe in the van.

The process and wait time for the ride was not pleasant.. You stand in a sea of people hundreds and hundreds of people waiting for their ride. Congestion and exhaust fumes really really not good. Fortunately Wilton was there to direct us to the van. our driver was great. He was efficient and safe and knew what he was doing to get us out of the chaos. Not sure if the resort transportation would be any better but once in our own van EVERYTHING WAS GOOD. COMFORTABLE, AIR CONDITIONED, GOOD SAFE DRIVER….PROBABLY THE BEST YOU COULD ASK FOR. NO OTHER PEOPLE IN OUR VAN WHICH WAS PERFECT. I WOULD RECOMMEND FOR SURE

I had an amazing experience with this company. This is the first time I use a service like this and they did an amazing job making me feel safe. A day prior there was someone messaging me on WhatsApp to confirm flight and pick up details. Upon arrival, it was easy to find our sign with our name. This person guided us to the driver and the driver was also very kind. We booked the round-trip deal and that driver was also very kind especially when we asked for a pitstop before our destination at the airport. Something I didn’t know prior that would’ve come in handy would be that this group offers excursions. So upon arrival the driver let us know that we can book packages with them last minute, and they will be our guide in the city with a trusting driver. I didn’t know this prior to booking, so I had already booked other stuff, but in the future, I found this really cool and that way we stick with one driver/guide our whole trip.

Excellent experience. Ride was waiting at the Punta Cana airport to take us to Excellence El Carmen with a sign with our name. It was our first time in Punta Cana and the taxi/ride area was a little overwhelming so we missed the agent our first pass. Our ride back to the airport arrived early. Driver did not speak English but was friendly and polite. Our only other advice is that we had to call to arrange pickup at the resort for our return but that was not a big deal. The Sol Cana rep had all the info and we set a pickup time. I’d use them again.

Finding the pickup person was easy. Transfer was quick and smooth and driver was very friendly! Felt safe and confident in the service and the price was very reasonable!

This company and its employees are exceptional! They are professional, extremely reliable , and punctual. When leaving the airport to find your driver is overwhelming when so many people are screaming for your business, but for us it was a breeze having our transportation booked with this company. The gentleman had a sign with my name and he identified himself as Hector the Protector ,and we did feel safe when he helped us get to the car for the transfer. He drove safely and was so kind to us! We had a fun ride talking and hearing about the beautiful country and sharing our mutual appreciation for the Atlanta Braves with all the Dominican players. We were at our resort quickly and he returned to pick us up exactly on time. When you go to Punta Cana use this company and ask for Hector! .

Someone from viator—with the car company sol cana in punta cana—had my number from the reservation and kept calling and texting me about reserving another car transfer. Early in the mornings and afternoons, from different numbers.

With our booking the Excellence El Carmen included private transfers to and from the resort. The company used was Seasons Transfers. We had a great experience. The booking was simple. Communication was fantastic as our airline changed our schedule multiple times leading up to our arrival. Jay Lopez was our driver and was generous with his time. He was happy to point out points of interest while we travelled and willing to provide any other transportation services needed during our stay.

What an amazing and safe experience. Nelson was the one that helped us from day one till the very last day. We were able to also communicate with him in matter of minutes. He was very understanding and always worked to accommodate us. He helped us with all the excursions and gave us the best prices. He would always check on us to make sure we were safe and able to attend to all of our excursions safely. My friend and I were a bit concerned about going by ourselves to Punta Cana for the first time but Nelson out at ease from the very beginning. I RECOMMEND THEM 100%! You would not regret it. Every staff member were very respectful and polite.

We stayed at the Excellence El Carmen Resort from April 16 to April 23, 2022. This was our first visit to this Resort and it was a great experience. We have been to Punta Cana several times and each time we chose a new resort with some we have enjoyed in the past. Upon arrival at the Resort, Ms. Berenice, checked us in, she was very gracious and explained all the features to us. The Bellman took us to our suite 2101. The Balcony of the suite is overlooking the well manicured gardens and a pool. The suite was well equipped with amenities and very clean. We had a large bathroom with two sinks, a shower & a separate WC, with plenty of clean towels. The suite has a King Size Bed, clean bed-linen and a great mattress to get a good night sleep. In addition there is a walk in closet, a living room area, a TV , desk and Mini Bar... There is also a separate Whirlpool in the room. Our Valet, who took care of our suite was outstanding. We loved the Lobster House Restaurant down by the Ocean. The broiled Salmon and the Lobster on Risotto were delicious. The Kitchen Table for the breakfast was a knock out. So much to choose from and everything is well prepared by the kitchen staff, the wait staff was efficient as well. On some days the Kitchen Table had a Buffet Lunch which was also outstanding. The Grill Restaurant had a few issues, which we shared with the waiter, but his knowledge of English is limited, therefore nothing happened. On the menu they have a Fruit Salad with Grand Manier, there is no Grand Manier on the Fruit Salad. On another visit to THE Grill, I went to the Lobby Bar to get Gand Manier. Most Vegetables on the menu on Sunday April 17, were not available.The French Restaurant "chez isabelle" was good. The Beach - Uvero Alto was very nice and much more quiet then Bavaro. It was also clean. Now if you want a good local massage, once you are on the beach turn right walk toward JC Penny, here you find "Heidy & Ruth" and both of them will give you an outstanding massage at $35.oo for one hour. You will NOT be disappointed. We had a most enjoyable visit at the Excellence El Carmen and can recommend staying here. As a matter of fact we will be returning on November 30th , 2022 for 7 night, and very much are looking forward to this visit. Keep up the good work Excellence El Carmen.
