Private Transfer Between Punta Cana And Santo Domingo

The driver never responded to me or Viator regarding pick up time so we had to cancel our reservation and find another way to get to our destination.

They never responded to messages the day before pickup to confirm time after the pickup was booked. Horrible service so then you have to pay more money via taxi services to get to the airport in Santo Domingo from Punta Cana while you also fight with viator to get your refund.

They never came and got us from our hotel no call no text nothing don’t waste your time I almost missed my flight had to book a last minute taxi

This company is not reliable- Driver never showed up and never contacted me to explain or arrange for another driver. They had initially sent me a message thru Viator for flight details. I answered back and they never confirmed they received my message. For the next couple of days I kept sending them messages thru Viator which they never responded to. In the meantime I did receive an email confirmation with my ticket so I thought it would be fine. The day of the transfer, they sent me a text thru WhatsApp to confirm the transfer and I asked them to confirm the pick up time. They confirmed the time to which I responded and never heard from them again. When they were 15 min late I tried texting and calling the WhatsApp number which they never answered and I also left two messages in the number listed on the ticket. No response or explanation as to why they stood me up. I called my credit card company right away but they had not charged my card.

DO NOT BOOK WOTH THIS COMPANY. My husband booked travel with the company from Santo Domingo to Puerto Plata. Our entire experience with that ride was extremely disappointing, stressful, and scary for my family. Our driver could not speak any English, despite a guarantee on the website that he would be able to. In addition, the van that we were riding in for several hours did not have any functioning seat belts and every time we went over a speed bump the car bottomed out. The driver did not know he was supposed to drive us for three hours at first but he reluctantly agreed (this was an error on the part of the company). After an hour we realized he was falling asleep while driving and almost caused several accidents. My husband eventually drove the rest of the trip because our family would not have made it safely otherwise. I have been promised a refund and not been given one.

When I arrived at the airport in Punta Cana after a more than 16 hours of travel and long lines in the customs and immigration I was welcomed by Kelly the representative who told me that there was no car waiting for me and that there was engine problem. I received no email or information from the company regarding this. They made no effort to inform me. Kelly felt bad for us and organized another transfer company to take us but we had to pay again even more than what we paid originally. But with a crying 7 year old who was tired. We did not complain. We just needed to leave. When I contacted the company they told me to contact their financial department to get a refund. They should already planned ahead for this and refunded me. Viator has taken my claim and I Hope I will get all my money back. I will not be using them again.

I had an awful experience the company charged my card for a ride an never showed up NEVER replied to none of my messages the company is dishonest

I would not recommend this company based on my experience. I booked airport transportation and a party bus tour with Diamond Tours/Transfers in the Dominican Republic. From the beginning, the service I paid for was not what I received. The vehicle I specifically selected was not provided, no one was there to greet me upon arrival, and I had to repeatedly call just to locate my driver. Communication was excellent before they received my payment, but once they had my money, it became extremely difficult to get responses. After I filed a complaint on May 22, the company admitted the service was unacceptable and, on May 29, confirmed in writing that my refund had been approved and that the refund process would begin. They advised it would take 7–10 business days for processing plus 5–15 additional business days for the bank. Today is July 8, well beyond the timeframe they provided, and I still have not received my refund. I have had to continuously follow up with little to no resolution. Poor communication, failure to provide the services purchased, and failure to honor their own promised refund timeline have made this an extremely frustrating experience. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision before booking.

I booked in advance but they were not able to accommodate me due to a mix up on their end. So I had to book another ride

Your driver stood me up on my return trip from Punta Cana to Santa Domingo Airport on Sunday December 7th after I paid with my credit card. He knew where to pick me up because he gave me a 10:30am pick up time. I had to pay an additional $182 to another Taxi company. PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY.

I booked a $179 ride to the airport - from Punta Cana to Santo Domingo. It’s a two hour drive. I had an international flight from D.R. to Turks and Caicos. I confirmed my 10am pick up with Diamond Tours the night before. My driver arrived after 11am - more than an hour late! Then he stopped for gas, then he stopped to exchange a baby seat with another driver, then he almost got side-swiped while improperly merging into traffic. When I got to the airport, my flight was boarding. Very stressful experience.

So easy to book. Being from another country I was nervous about payment and service but Sebastian took the best care. Our driver was kind and polite and stopped off for restroom and water. We didn't speak the language and Argelis simply used Google translate which was incredibly helpful.

Great experience! Elwin was our driver for trip from Santo Domingo to Punta Cana and also was with us for a day in the Santo Domingo area. He was courteous and easygoing, helpful with our young children. The car was comfortable and clean for two families of four with young children. We will be using them on all future DR trips!

The only challenge was finding the name tag as we were exiting the airport. There are many people with signs but our name was on a signboard at the end of the exit. Luckily we had a person assisting us with the bags and he was aware of the company. So he actually foud the representative to assist us. There was a bit of a wait for the transport. But once the ride was secired everything was excellent. We were delivered to our destination without issue. Truly as much as could be asked for. An excellent experience and a great value in my opinion.

My husband and I received a private transfer from our resort at Lopesan in Punta Cana to the airport in Santo Domingo. Our driver’s name was Louis and he was incredible!!! We could not have asked for a better experience. Louis did everything he could to make our ride comfortable and timely. Louis was so very friendly and professional. He came to our resort early (at 3 in the morning!!) and helped us with our bags. He greeted us and was very friendly even with an early morning transfer :) Louis made us feel very comfortable and valued as customers. He was funny, friendly, and considerate. He even gave us some information about the Dominican and made even a 3 Am ride enjoyable. We were so pleased with our experience with Diamond Transportation.

I traveled to Santo Domingo on business and decided to fly into Punta Cana in order to have a direct flight with no connections. It was a long drive, but was enjoyable due to the driver, Estanael. He was professional, courteous and, most importantly, safe, all of which made the journey more relaxing and enjoyable. So much so that I arranged for Estanael to be my driver for the return trip to Punta Cana three days later.

The best experience when it comes to transportation, we had a family emergency and needed transfer from Punta Cana airport the service of Dominican Transfer Diamond was outstanding, Jelson answered the phone and helped me book with no hazard, on arrival Cristina had water ready and kindly accompanied us from the moment we got out of the airport and our driver Estanael was great, the car was comfortable, excellent driver, he offer us to stop if needed and was very attentive of our needs, gave us a information about the area and safely took us to our destination.
