Private Snorkeling In Punta Cana

We had a great experience with EcoReef in Punta Cana! Our group included 11 people—6 adults and 5 kids—and everyone had a fantastic time. The snorkeling was enjoyable with plenty to see, the slide was a big hit with both the kids and adults, and we loved having time to swim in the beautiful water. The staff was friendly and made the experience easy and fun for our large group. It was a great mix of adventure and relaxation, and everyone left happy. I would definitely recommend EcoReef to families or groups looking for a fun excursion in Punta Cana! Eddie and crew are super friendly and accommodating!

Eddie did a great job of leading the way. Fernando made all the ladies feel special with personalized photos. John and Victor keep the boat where it needed to be and the fish coming to us. Super chill excursion. Got us a nice Sublime/Marley playlist. Mixed it up on snorkeling, seeing the area, and having a few drinks while throwing the football on the sandbar. Highly recommended. Fun, safe, and professional!

This is the 2nd time we have done this excursion, and again, it was a highlight of our vacation to Punta Cana, DR. Eddie and his team are amazing – the boat is in great shape, very clean, with a bathroom!!! Nonstop fun from the slide, snorkeling, to the sand bar…the music and drinks are fun too!!! Absolutely get the photographer – the pictures are priceless! Book with confidence that this will be a day you'll remember!

Our excursion on the EcoReef was a highlight of our vacation to Punta Cana for all ten of us. We are a multi-generational family, grandparents, parents and four kids, ages 9-14. From the music to the snorkeling to the open bar and did I mention the slide!! It was an awesome day for all! We loved the attention from Eddie and his crew and his photographer captured our day perfectly!! It was our second excursion with EcoReef and if we return to Punta Cana again, we'd surely book another excursion with Eddie!! Thanks for such a great day!!

Eddie did a great job making our private boat experience perfect! The snorkeling equipment was well cleaned and the guide was great to help us find cool things to see! We were able to easily use our Spotify playlist over their speakers.

We celebrated our daughter’s 15 birthday on the boat. We had fun feeding fish SH while snorkeling and using the water slide. They made it special by providing a cake and birthday music. Thanks for helping us create food memories.

Amazing experience, would highly recommend. Eddie and crew were spot on, very well organised and thought through. Eddie clearly explained what we had planned for the day and always prioritised our safety. Each part of the trip was well planned as we saw dolphins, snorkelled and spent time on the beach of an island. We were particularly impressed that the tour actually tailors to what you want, we ended up snorkeling longer and spent less time on the beach. The snorkeling location was great, a good variety of fish and the crew fed them bananas to attract the fish which made for better sights. And overall the day flowed really nicely, everything ran on time and delivered exactly as promised. I would highly recommend this as you have the luxury of your own boat and a trip that's truly tailored to you. A massive thank you to Eddie and the team!

This was a wonderful short half day excursion if you are looking to not be away from your resort all day. Tour was at 10am, pick up at hotel (Breathless) 845am. Boat was clean, crew was fantastic. Eddy was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable. Fernando, John, and Victor were all wonderful too. Pictures were great to take back for memories. We arrived, got our safety briefing, sailed past the dolphins, did about 45 min snorkeling near a coral reef, played on the water slide for 20 min, sailed to a sand bar and hung out in the water for 45 min to an hour. Highly recommend doing the private tour.

This was the best day of our week weather wise and the fun we had. Eddie and staff were great. No English barrier. Catamaran was easily accessible with a brief boat ride out to the catamaran. Your feet will get wet getting into smaller boat. We enjoyed the snorkeling. Many colorful fish. Hanging out at the sandbar was relaxing. We enjoyed the slide, drinks, music and experience. Had a great time!!

Had a great trip snorkeling, going down the slide and playing in the water. Eddie and his entire crew were top notch and made sure our experience was perfect. They also provided beers, soda, water and chips and snacks, fresh fruit. The entire experience from the driver picking us up at our hotel to the excursion and transport back to the hotel was perfect! Would definitely book with this company again!!

We were a group of 5 ladies and booked this private charter last minute. The pick-up and drop-off were very convenient. The boat itself was very nice and the staff was very accommodating. I didn't know there would be a photographer on board and I am grateful that he was- the drone videos are a fun memory. All in all it was a great experience!

Excellent service from beginning to end! Eddie and the crew was amazing! Celebrated my son’s 12th bday , group of 6, and even though I booked it the day before, they were able to provide us a birthday cake (delicious chocolate cake!) great music was played and we really had a fun relaxing time! John took great photos too(extra cost).

The snorkeling was pleasant w several fish species to admire, the onboard photographer captured our day so well, the sandbar swim time with onboard slide was very enjoyable, Eddie was fabulous and the whole crew did great.

Eddie and his crew were professional, fun and experienced. My girlfriends and I headed to the DR to celebrate my besties’ 50th birthday. We felt safe with the crew and they went above and beyond to ensure a magical experience. On the reservation, I had requested no alcohol and specific snacks. Eddie fulfilled the order perfectly. He also surprised my bestie with a birthday cake. A photographer was on board to capture the moments. We opted to buy the photos to memorialize the experience. I highly recommend this excursion.

Our group of 9 had the absolute best time on the excursion! We went on day 6 of 8 of our trip and it was by far the greatest time we had ALL week. Eddy & Crew were the best!

The snorkeling was not great. Unfortunately, we booked the same boat two days in a row, thinking captain would take us to different places, but he planned on doing the exact same route day 2. There was also a photographer on board that charged an exorbitant amount for poorly filtered pictures. There was no set amount for the pictures, so we definitely felt hustled at the end. Disappointed overall and would not recommend.

We had a great time however pictures we paid for were never sent to our e mail addresses. The crew and Eddy were great did everything we asked them to do.

This was everyones top things we did on our vacation. Eddie and the staff are very knowledgeable, polite and always making sure everyone was taken care of. Safety was a priority from the beginning and you definitely knew you were in good hands. The music was great and your beverages were never empty. My family and I (6 adults and two young children) booked a private excursion with Ecoreef and it did not disappoint. We did the Punta Cana Coast 3 hour excursion. My daughters are 2.5 and 7 months and they had life vests to fit both of them. The crew (Eddy, Victor, John & Cappuccino) were extremely accommodating to everyone in our group. Eddy was a top notch tour guide, I wish every excursion had an Eddy! He met us at our van as soon as we arrived at the Marina, he played our favorite music, made us drinks and made sure we were having a great time. I truly couldn’t recommend Ecoreef tours/ Eddy and his crew enough. Fantastic day on the water!

We went out with Eddie and the crew for my dad’s birthday and couldn’t have had a better time. Boat was spacious and clean, crew was professional and safety oriented (with no sacrifice to fun), and snorkeling was incredible—felt like we were in an aquarium. So fun to have a photographer on board to capture the memories too. 10/10

We booked a private trip and had the boat to ourselves. Great experience on the boat, swimming at the reef and then playing on the waterslide after. If you have a big enough group, we were 15, go private vs one of the larger boats.

This trip was 5 stars, 10/10! Eddie, John, Victor, and Cappuccino were all amazing - we saw amazing ocean life, had great drinks, snacks, and music, and REALLY enjoyed the water slide and gorgeous swimming area-highly recommend!!!

We booked 3 excursions during our stay in Punta Cana and this one was BY FAR the best one. Highly recommend for anyone with a small group and looking to have the entire boat to themselves. Also, the tour guide Eddie made the entire experience even BETTER! Thanks Eddie!

Eddie and the team did a fantastic job. They explained everything we were doing, took fantastic photos and interacted well with all in our party (kids to grandparents). Cappuccino, who was our photographer, did an amazing job of taking great photos of the group while also playing and goofing off with the kiddos. The slide was a HUGE hit with the whole group especially the kids. They provided eco friendly products! Amazing views too! We will be booking through them again. We HIGHLY recommend Eddie, Victor, John & Cappuccino and EcoReef.

A perfect getaway with a fantastic crew. Right from the start Eddie was fun but informative. We gathered beachside, then boarded a boat to get to their catamaran. Helpful and not in a rush they guided and helped us into a great snorkeling area, with free swimming where there were tons of sea life to watch. Then we cruised out to a shallow bay to swim, wade and slide our way to fun. A great crew, and fun was had by all. Get the photos!! Cappuccino took amazing shots of our family that we will cherish forever. Thanks to the EcoReef crew for an amazing experience. Much better than a boat full of mixed groups.

We had a private Catamaran tour of about 18 people. We all LOVED the experience. We were picked up on time by a bus. Then ferried to the boat. The captain and crew was fun and welcoming. Snorkeling - several of us are not swimmers, but the crew helped us out. We had another stop of shallow sea area and we all enjoyed the water slide off the boat and into the water. Drinks and snacks were plenty.

So professional! Boat was clean and staff was wonderfully friendly. Communication was easy and reliable. We stayed at the Dreams Flora and walked to the pier where we met the staff. They dropped us off right in front of our hotel. Fun, stress-free, and safe private half day excursion for our large family! Thank you Eddie, Cappuccino, Victor, and Jeremy!

Eddy was a fantastic guide, and his team worked together to give us an unforgettable experience. We were treated like rockstars! The photographer was excellent by making us feel beautiful and the pictures he took were priceless so we purchased the entire package. Eddy was very knowledgeable about marine life and he educated us about dolphins, sharks and coral reefs. In addition , he asked us what type of music we wanted to hear and his song selection was on point. He played Latin, R&B and didn’t hesitate to play song requests. He served us fresh fruit, chips and salsa (which were delicious!) and made us every type of drink we asked for. The slide was super fun, but my favorite part was snorkeling. Our guide would break off a piece of banana and showed us how to feed the fish! We captured great videos on our GoPro, and loved holding a piece of banana so the fish could feed right off our hands! It was an unforgettable experience - thank you Eddy and your crew!!

A group of ten of us recently chartered this boat with 7 adults and 3 kids (1, 3, 8). EcoRerf was extremely responsive with securing our pickup time at the resort for the following day. The crew of Eddie, Cappicino, Jeremy and Victor were very knowledgeable, kind, and fun! Snorkeling was brief but we saw a lot of fish. They best part was the slide in the shallow lagoon. Beer, vodka, rum and light snacks were provided. I would highly recommend chartering this boat with a family or group of friends! My only complaint was the we didn’t get a full 3 hours on the water, only about 2.5. Still would rate it 5 stars!

Excellent tour! Driver picked us up on time. We rode a dingy out to the boat. Boat was pristine. Guides were wonderful. The photographer did a great job. They took us snorkeling and then to a place to hang out in the water. Slide was fun. Service was great. They Provided watermelon, cantaloupe, chips/salsa and all the drinks you could ask for! Highly recommend. I would absolutely do this again!

BOOK THIS ONE!! Eddy and his crew provided a wonderful trip for our family of 7. We ranged in aged from 9-70+. We really enjoyed having the boat to ourselves. I booked this thru trip advisor and not thru our resort. I have no regrets. The pick up at our resort went smoothly and we always felt safe. We were able to snorkel at the reef and then hang out in a shallow swimming area to enjoy the waterslide. Eddy and crew were attentive to my kids when the spring break party boats showed up he kept an eye on everyone to make sure we stayed safe. Cappuccino took great pics for us! Eddy is fluent in English and makes sure his guests are enjoying themselves thru the whole trip. My kids age 9, 12, 15 really enjoyed it. I can’t recommend this tour enough!!

Eddie Gigi Cappuccino and the rest of the staff were amazing! they were so accomodating to my large family. The snorkeling was great. My son said it felt like we were in an aquarium. The water slide on the boat is a great feature. We didn't see any other boats with one. The drinks were strong, the fruit was fresh. It was such a great memory for my family, I highly recommend this to anyone, fun for all ages!

Our family really enjoyed our time on the water with Eddie, Gigi, Cappacino, Jeremy and our captain. They were fun and informatiive. They were always working to make our experince enjoyable. My famly really enjoyed getting to know them and spend time with them on our excursion. I would highly reccomend you take time out of your vacation to spend the day with this crew. Such a fun family outing while in Punta Cana!

We had a fantastic time! The crew were great (Eddy, in addition to being a great host, is also an excellent DJ) and made the whole excursion fun. What really sets this trip apart from the others is the slide. All the boats snorkel in the same area and then they hang out on the same sandbar for swimming, so overall you're getting the same experience, but when we got to the swimming area, I can assure you we were having the most fun. All 10 of us, ages 6-65, took turns going down the slide and hung out in the water laughing. Cappuccino (the photographer) was even in the water with us taking pictures and they're probably my favorite pictures from the entire vacation. This was the highlight of the trip for several of us and I totally recommend it.

This was the highlight of our trip! We had a private boat for our group of 10. Great communication for the transfer, on-time departure, and a smooth ride. Eddie was fun and engaging, made sure we loved the music, and that our cups were always full! The stops were the right amount of time (snorkeling, then sliding and sandbar)and it was just an unforgettable party off crystal clear water. Very impressed by the quality of the boat and the professionalism of this tour! The photographer was overpriced and a bit pushy, but the pics were so good it was worth it!

Great trip. We had a group of ten family members on the trip ranging in ages from 7 to 64. Enough time was spent snorkeling before moving on to use the slide, relax, and enjoy refreshments. Provided transportation was timely and comfortable for our group. Eddy and crew were great throughout, from the moment we were met at the drop off point, to getting us on the boat, taking care of us on the boat, and for corralling us into the transport for the ride back to the resort. Our whole group of different experience and activity levels felt safe and supported the entire time. Eddy even made sure some of us who may have liked the rum punch too much were safely in the van before leaving us. Great excursion and great people!
