Private Airport Transfer To Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa

Driver never showed up. Waited over an hour. Were told that Diamond went out of business. Was unable to contact anyone at Diamond. No answer.

It was THE WORSE! Arrived ready to enjoy vacation and surprise my sister with the welcome sign , it was her birthday and no one was there!!! Other reps was trying to assist,, they said there is no such place called diamond tours anymore and called someone named diamond and they said they never received a reservation and I have been trying to communicate with Viator as now I know I have no return transportation and now have to scramble but I don’t feel like spending my vacation arguing with Viator anymore and we’ll figure all this out after vacation….VERY DISAPPOINTING !

Never found provider. Was in airport scared and confused. We were being hounded and told to go here and outside, which was wrong. Ended up finding a taxi to get my 80 year old parents out of the heat and confusion. Will never use viator.com for transportation again!

They canceled when I arrived at the airport. I had not transportation to my hotel. Very bad experience.

I booked round trip transportation from the airport to the resort and back. The provider (diamond tours) was nowhere to be found when we got through customs. I spent an hour trying to track them down both at the airport and over the phone. The phone number provided for the provider just took me to the airport phone system, and the viator phone tree did not have any options that fit my issue. I was dealing with all this while being harassed by all of the other transportation providers. Since I could not get ahold of anyone associated with my prearranged and pre paid transportation, I had to roll the dice with one of the other providers at the airport. Now I'm at the resort and I have no idea whether I can expect the provider to actually show up at the pre arranged time to head home.

Don’t use Diamonds failed to provide service and told me to take taxi and get a refund. Taxi was no AC, slow and cost more.

We did not get picked up. I had to pay for a cab. I need my refund ASAP. This was a very big inconvenience. The operator couldn't get in contact with the driver.

You will need to communicate via What’s App. I was not informed about this prior to arriving to our destination.

I would not recommend Diamond Transfer & Tours based on my experience. After being informed that I was eligible for a refund, I have spent weeks trying to recover my money. Despite numerous emails, phone calls, and messages, I continue to receive the same response that my refund is “being processed” by the finance department. No refund date, timeline, or meaningful update has been provided. What has been most frustrating is the lack of customer service. When I contacted the company seeking information about my refund, my calls were disconnected and I was hung up on rather than receiving assistance. As a paying customer, I expected professionalism, transparency, and respect. I also strongly advise travelers not to pay through Zelle. Unlike a credit card, Zelle offers very limited protection if a refund issue arises. Looking back, I wish I had used a payment method that provided dispute and chargeback protection. At this point, I am still waiting for my refund and have not received a clear resolution. Until this matter is resolved, I cannot recommend this company to other travelers. I hope Diamond Transfer & Tours takes steps to improve its customer service, communication, and refund process so that future customers do not have the same experience.

We were never picked up from the airport. We waited for over an hour and tried to get in contact with a Viator representative but never could reach anyone…. The assistants at the airport even tried to help but were never able to get in touch with anyone either! We eventually had to book with someone else to take us to our resort and pay AGAIN! We had already paid Viator for a round trip transfer! We sent an email asking for an explanation and a refund, but have still not received any response!

Horrible experience I would not recommend. I booked this ahead of time for arrival and departure and paid in full. We couldn’t find them anywhere in the PUJ airport and once we did it took awhile and the drive didn’t feel very safe. Then when leaving we received no confirmation of our ride and what time they would get us. It was a hassle to get ahold of someone and then we finally did. The day of they reached out sharing they would be about 15-20 mins late I told them we’d still be okay on time and then 30 mins later they called and said they could no longer come. They left us to figure it out on our own and to pay another company more money.

I payed for private airport transfer to Breathless Resort. Prior to arrival, I got messages from Diamond Transfer - mainly about Tours. They were very responsive in trying to upsell, but I wanted information about where to go upon arrival. They send me a picture of what I should look for. NEVER SAW THAT!! After walking through the airport - NO ONE was available with a sign with MY name on it. I called Diamond Transfers and someone that had texted me - with NO answer on either line. FINALLY (after about 30 minutes) I received a text telling me that someone was coming. The guy had no business shirt or anything reflecting that he was from Diamond Transfers, and a woman finally showed up and showed me that she had a sign (under her clipboard) with my name on it. I was VERY displeased with the service and responses, and I will not use Viator or Diamond Transfers for transportation services again.

Do not book this ride they did not come pick us up I had to spend an additional $70 for a taxi but they did not “see” that I booked a round trip ticket and I was in communication with the person yesterday and a couple hours before pick up time to confirm they were coming they finally repaired and told me to book a taxi and refund a refund so I don’t miss my flight it’s currently 3:35pm and my flight is at 5:30pm I have a 45 min ride to the airport NEVER WILL I EVER BOOK AGAIN

When we arrived at the Punta Cana airport we had trouble finding our transport van. The sign with our name we expected our driver would be holding was on the ground leaning against a table. It was tough to see as people were walking in front of it. We had to keep asking to find our ride. Once we found it everything went smoothly. Our transport back to the airport after our vacation was smooth and got us there in plenty of time.

Horrible experience. On Dec 29, 2025 at 16:00, waited 45 minutes and still no one showed up from Diamond. I called their contact number and only received a voice message. So I contacted TripAdvisor who also attempted to contact them, no answer. We wasted over an hour of the start of our vacation. Never Diamond again, don’t take a chance on such poor performance.

On time. Nice cars. Safe. Reasonable pricing. Excellent service. Excellent communication. They are flexible in scheduling if needed.

Such a friendly and fast service. Communication was great even before arrival. When I booked they called me to confirm everything and on arrival I received a message from the driver coordinating the meet spot and location. They even picked up a friend from a different terminal than where I landed in and communicated with her as well. The host was knowledgeable and offered us driving and/or excursions during our stay at the resort if needed. Very affordable and will 100% be my go to when I return!! Thank you so much

Will never use Diamond Tour again. They left me waiting at the airport for over 1 hour. They apparently over booked and couldn’t find a driver for me. It got to the point they had to pay another company to bring me to my destination.

Company did not commit with the driver that I had a later flight and I had to pay for additional transportation

Irving was a great driver! We was on time to pick us up from the hotel and drive us the 45 min to the airport. It was quick, smooth, and got there with plenty of time to spare. He played great music too! Would definitely use again.

This is something that I have become accustomed to on all my travels, a private transport to and from airports. The ONLY thing I would recommend to help the company improve is upon arrival having someone with the name of the passengers posted or someone hold a sign like other companies, this would make the process easier for the passengers. Upon arrival we had to ask several people, multiple times as to where to go to get our shuttle. It took 45 minutes to 1 hour before we got picked up.

We had a private airport transfer round trip. The first ride was very unorganized trying to find someone to drive us. Now the day we are leaving, we have not heard anything from them confirming our pick up time for the airport. We have been trying for 2 days to get a hold of someone and nothing. Horrible Service would not recommend. It was through Viator and the company was Diamond.

Good customer service, they will make sure you are happy with your ride. Punta Cana is very beautiful and we enjoyed our time here.

Finding the company was difficult as there are a lot of other car services waiting outside the airport, but the staff were courteous and efficient once we found them. Thanks to our driver, and we made it to our destination safely. Overall, it was a pretty smooth experience.

Jose our driver was very friendly, professional and informative. He made the 45 mins ride to the resort very pleasurable.

The pickup at the airport was right on time. The driver was very aggressive, however, beeping at cars beside and in front of us constantly. The driver made a side stop right on a main road at a rotary and got out of the vehicle to meet with people on foot and it was quite disconcerting. Language was certainly a barrier, but the driver made no attempt to communicate that he was dropping off a cooler (?) to the people on foot. As we had prepaid for round trip, the trip back was much better, with the driver's professional skill much better, however he was 45 minutes late picking us up, which added stress to get through customs and at our terminal on time.

Poor experience. Super stressful. No one to pick us up even though booked charged full price a d confirmed. Now no confirmation on pick up... Charged over 180 for private transfer round trip. Never booking again.. Terrible

I had to text Diamond to get details about my pick up because no one contacted me before arrival to the airport. Every-time they responded my text they answered writing in capital letters which is rude and tasteless in a text. Then I got out of the airport I see a bunch of drivers holding signs and no one has my name, is a bit overwhelming because I’m outside the airport without signs of my meeting concierge. Then I call and thankfully I had saved the phone number provided in the confirmation and I was able to tell them where I was and that I didn’t see the sign. They say to send a picture and they came to get me. The greeting employee was no friendly and lacks customer service. Then she makes me wait for the driver which in that time introduced me to his coworker “Price” which was the total opposite te to her attitude and super friendly and made feel welcome, he have 5 stars, the driver Ronaldo was super warm and friendly and good driver he also have 5 stars. The 2 stars are for the lady who supposed to have my name on a sign and she didn’t and was careless about her job.

Diamond Tours was amazing in Punta Cana!! They had all my information on their list. We only waited less than 5 minutes for them to pull up with our shuttle to the Breathless resort. I reached out to them the day before we left and they confirmed our pickup time. Also, they arrived 5 minutes prior to pickup time. I would recommend them to anyone traveling there.

I booked this airport transfer to and from Breathless Resort and Spa. The pickup from Breathless to go back to PUJ was great - the driver was on time and the team communicated in advance via WhatsApp and iMessage to confirm pickup time. The airport pickup on the other hand was not so great. There was no communication in advance about where to meet our driver and the pickup area did not have a sign with my name as expected. When we landed, it was very difficult to connect to the airport WiFi and we had little to no cell service. We tried calling the local number but it didn’t go through. The tour operator contacted me while I was in the air so I didn’t have a way to see it or respond. We tried messaging through the Viator booking with the limited WiFi we had but it wasn’t helpful. It ended up taking 45 minutes to figure out who to talk to before we were on our way - once we figured that out everything went smoothly. We also didn’t realize there was more than one arrival terminal. The driver was able to help us pick up one person from our party at the other terminal on the way.

It was a great experience! Even though we didn’t know Spanish and the driver didn’t know English he was trying to communicate with us. He made us feel safe. I will use them again! (:

Very good car service. No regrets. It was a little difficult to find the car when we got to the airport but that was the case for all the taxis around. It was probably two steps more difficult than I would have liked but after a long flight landing in a hot climate, I was not at my most patient. The ride there and back was quick, smooth and safe. No problems with the actual services rendered. When you book on their website you have the option to have a couple of cold beers and bottles of water in the car when they pick you up at the airport. DO IT. Handing my boyfriend a cold beer once we were in the private, air conditioned car really reset our day. We were both able to just sit down, relax, and take in the moment. Rinse off the travel stress a little bit :)

Good driver also gave Wi-Fi wile riding. Did not have to wait long after getting out of airport and very nice!

Not having to leave the Resort , made thing a little easier . I would like to have better tasting food
