We experience a very bad time with the transport company Coral Tours Transfers in Punta Cana. On October 17th I had to be at the airport at a certain time so they contact me the day before so we’d schedule the pick up at 11:30 am. That day I contact them form the lobby at 11:10 am letting them know that I was ready. Someone from the company told me that they were on their way but because of traffic they were running a few minutes late. They had me and my wife waiting for over 40 minutes so I had to take a taxi form the hotel before Id miss my flight. If you are planning a trip to Punta Cana, DO NOT take this company for your transfer.

I initially booked through Viator when I stayed in Punta Months back. I booked again when I stayed in a location further out than Punta Cana. Communication was clear and pickup and drop off was very punctual. I was able to stop by the store along the way. They answered all of my questions and ensure I got to my destination safely and worked out an affordable cost for the transport. I felt confident and safely with this company and would certainly book again. I have traveled with the company with family and solo and both times I felt safe and had no worries. I felt like I didn’t have to think. They handled all of that for me! Me and my driver from the airport even had a little praise and worship session. I loved that so much. That was so unplanned lol Have them stop you by Pollo Victorina at the gas station near the airport for delicious fried chicken and more. I stayed 6 nights 7 days they picked me up and returned me to the airport.

The driver never showed up, and the company has been very unprofessional. I do not want to book transportation with this company again. I have tried contacting them, but they are not answering my calls.

I cannot express the communication and courtesy these people did for us where it was more hospitable

Our experience went very well! It was great fast transportation to our destination, getting to our bags in the car was helped as well as getting in the car!

The pick up was very quiet. Driver didn’t communicate or say anything. He played music and didn’t engage at all. The departure driver engaged and made conversation.

The driver was late. The driver kept calling and was at the spot. He was 20 minutes out after we were waiting 15 minutes. He didn't speak good English in chat after I told him to speak English. Another agency provided assistance. I requested a refund and still waiting on that refund. I will dispute the transaction if the refund is not issued.

The pick up from the airport was quick but a little strange. When the guy finally found us, he took us off the airport grounds to us to the street rather than pick up with the other taxis. His driving was rather reckless and we think he may have been very tired, anxious, or high on drugs, which we thought was the case. We stopped at a gas station where we thought he was going to get in a fight with someone. Thankfully, he got us to the resort OK. The trip back to the airport was a little better, however, this driver was driving, pretty fast, weaving in and out of traffic. He got us to the airport OK. Both drivers were young and seemingly a hurry. I don’t know how other shuttle taxi drivers do, or if this is kind of the normal for the area, but it wasn’t very safe, and I wouldn’t book with them again. We were generous and tipped anyways. Maybe employee some older drivers or have your current ones take a safety course.

Supposed to be a private transfer . Made us wait about an hour then had another couple with us.. and I messaged to get return transfer and they never responded. Would not use them again.. not very organized

Easy to locate Joel. Smooth ride Very professional Clean vehicle. Wifi provided. No issues. Joel was even showing us landmarks during our ride.

When we landed it took a while to find the driver, the vehicle wasn’t marked with the company logo, no water or juice as advertised no scanning of the ticket they had me download. The driver drove like a maniac didn’t know where he was going, drove past our hotel twice and the Van was very smelly. Wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Alta Gama is the company.

There was no one at the airport to pick me up. They don't or didnt have a sign that had my name on it or anyone waiting for me despite all of my pre-planning that I did. Because I don't speak Spanish, the language barrier was a big issue with me finding my ride. After @40 mins of frustration, I was able to get to my ride. The driver Joel seemed to be high on some type of drug. He drove recklessly and even tried to make a stop to get something to eat before taking me to my resort. Very unprofessional and unacceptable. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN!!!

As soon as we got off the plane Driver was there waiting on time very nice spoke English made us feel comfortable.

Late for pick up. Tried to get over on us. We tip in pesos and he act like it wasn’t good enough and he drive reckless

We booked this travel while in the Dominican Republic to take us back to the airport and it didn't fail great service we booked to be picked up at 11.30am and they were there at 11am the driver was got us to the airport safe and sound would book again

They never showed up to pick us up. I ended up having to pay for another company to take us to the hotel.

When I arrived I was told I needed to pay more money. Then called and asked for a manager to call and still no one has called. Makes no sense why I paid already and then am told to pay more on arrival.

No one was there to greet me or the email was vague on details of where to meet. I called the Alta to find out where I need to stand for pick up. The driver called me back twice because I was still not in the right place. Finally I met my driver, I was glad to ride in a Chevy Tahoe, halfway during the ride he said he was going to transfer me to the other van and it will be an additional $30 because my hotel was out of the city and farther away. I protested that I already paid my money to Viator of $23. I went ahead and paid the fee. I wasn't upset about the fee. What bothers me is this occurred on the side of the road, I'm alone and alarmed about the situation. They should state their total price up front and not on the side of the road. Also the 2nd driver was driving very dangerously in a passenger van.

The wait for shuttle was very long and information about arrival time was confusing. But once it arrived our driver was polite and expedient.

Never got picked up. No response from the person or business whom was suppose to get me, never responded to phone calls nothing. I had to pay another cab service to be taken to my hotel. I want my money back for the Xfer coming .

Terrible experience. I couldn’t locate the driver and neither could the other companies. I am requesting a full refund of $23.

I use this company to go from the airport to my resort booked the same company from resort back to the airport accidentally put in the wrong date call Viator. They told me there’s nothing they can do about it. I called the owner and he said he understood I made a mistake and he’s gonna honor it he allowed me to rebook it. They picked me up on time offered us water show us landmarks as we drove. I would definitely recommend this company and they are the cheapest.

Do NOT use this business! They never showed up and now waiting for my refund! Horrible, unprofessional and when business finally reached out to me to say driver was in traffic and what do i expect him to fly? No instructions sent the night before. There are no signs for this business, no one waiting with my name, and i had to ask airport for assistance. No one showed up. Now in the process of requesting refund. Avoid this business!

I highly recommend Alta Gama for airport transfers. Our driver was fantastic—he arrived exactly on time and was incredibly friendly and courteous throughout the trip. To our surprise, they even upgraded us to a Suburban at no extra charge, even though we had only booked a regular van. Excellent service!

The confirmed pick up was supposed to be at 9am but the driver was 40 mins late. I nearly missed my flight! Go somewhere else for your transportation.

I thought someone would be there waiting with my name but instead 2 different people kept calling trying to get me to explain to them where I was in the airport. When I finally found the driver they tried to pack 9 people into 1 van, so it’s not a private transfer like I thought. Once you get in they tell you it’s $30 more dollars per person which the claim is the price difference from what we paid online. Everyone in the van was confused but we all paid to keep down confusion. I would not recommend.

The driver got there an hour and half after our flight landed. After we were finally picked up the drive had to stop to get gas. Once we finally got going she drove like a maniac. I would never use this company again.

The fee apply’s to a specific area. We stayed at Secrets Tides and we were asked to pay an additional 49 for the driver.

My experience was terrifying to say the least. This was my first time visiting DR and the driver did not have the correct address although I booked the trip with the address shown on the hotel website. He kept trying to drop me off at different locations and he could not locate the property where I was staying. He made it seem like it was ok for him to just drop me anywhere to find my own way and that was very scary because I was not in a familiar country. Thank God for the young lady accompanying on the ride who spoke Spanish because I don't know if I would have made it to my destination if it wasn't for her assisting with locating my hotel. The driver was constantly looking at his phone crossing over the road lines and almost hit 2 pedestrians and 2 cars. It was not a very pleasant experience and I did not feel safe, but I finally made it to my destination after that entire ordeal. I can only give one star because at least I made it, but I would not recommend Alta Gama Transfers for ANY airport transfer.

The driver left us waiting at the airport for 45 min after we arrived. I have two kids and the weather was crazy. While waiting for the driver my young baby fell and I got to go to emergency room what ended up costing me $500 dollars. Ended up at the hotel at 5pm when I was supposed to get there at 11 am. A complete nightmare just because someone couldn't be there on time.

Driver never showed up. Confirmed before my flight and person said driver would be there. When we landed no one was. Communication through what’s app stated driver was in traffic. However, a lady text same number and they told her they were “looking” for someone! Then they said they would reimburse me, but then told me to request refund. Very unprofessional and misleading!
