La Romana Port Transfers (Punta Cana Airport To Port)

Smooth transfer, driver arrived early, could have used a little more space for 6 people

Prompt pickup. Clean van. Safe driving. A staff member of coco loco helped us at cruise ship port. He had a clear labeled shirt and helped us communicate with our driver Hennry.

I used Cocotours for an airport transfer from my hotel. Not only were they easy to schedule and pay, they communicated every step of the way. I knew who my driver was and his name. I knew when he was on his way and arrived to get me. They were very prompt, even early so there was no waiting. They were friendly and took my luggage for me. I used them twice and I highly recommend them for a safe and easy experience!! 5 stars for me. I will use them e very time i come to DR.

Booking was made 3 weeks in advance. The Coco-Tours driver didn't show up at the cruise port at La Romana, Dominican Republic for pick-up and transfer to the airport. Coco-tours had other personnel on site, but none had me as their person. After being told to 'just wait' for 45 minutes, I contacted the phone provided and was told they weren't working and to contact someone else. The 2nd person said there was a mix-up and I wasn't on their schedule and that I needed to take a taxi for the hour long ride to the airport. By this time, all the cruise passengers were off the ship and the place was extremely busy. The taxi line was long and I was already 45 minutes past pick-up. One of the other drivers called 'his friend' to drive me to the airport. The friend showed up in an old van with dented fenders, broken windshield, no outside door handles, with a random person who spoke no English and my Spanish is limited. So that was my only option at that point or miss my entire travel day. I was nervous and sent dropped pins along the way to my family. I was traveling solo and hopped into an unmarked van with a random person in Dominican Republic. Not one of my smartest moves, but thankfully we arrived safely at the airport. Then came the awkward exchange when the driver wanted payment. Thankfully, an airport bag handler was able to translate. The driver agreed to work out payment with Coco-Tours and I tipped the driver and went on about my day. The bag handler understood the days events and escorted me in and got me priority service, otherwise I would have missed my flight. Everyone at Coco-Tours were fairly pleasant when they realized there was an error on their end. Most tried to help me out, but it was a frustrating experience. I made it to my gate with about 5 minutes to spare before boarding the plane home. (Note: my flight was scheduled at 5 hours after disembarking the ship for anyone thinking it was a timing issue.)

Me and my mom were staying in an airbnb near the port and requested this transfer. It was a smooth and easy pickup, driver was very polite and friendly, and the ride went very well. He left us exactly where we need to be in order to start our check in. Thanks for the great service!

This was our 5th trip to Punta Cana but my 1st time booking with Coco Tours for our family of 4. I booked because of the great reviews buuuttt there was no one waiting there for us. We had to search and research all the signs with names on them while tons of other drivers and companies were relentless trying to get us to use them for a ride. We Finally found our name on a board that was left laying flat on the counter. We waited there until a lady came at least 15 minutes later. She had to call someone several times to confirm our party. Then we walked to the pick up area where we waited another 20 minutes for a car to come pick us up. It was all very frustrating. Every other company that we've used was waiting there with no problems upon our arrival. When they texted me a couple days later to ask if we needed rides to anywhere for excursions, I explained what happened and that's when all communications went cold. No response.

They provided very reliable driving services to us, pick-up was always precisely on time, which we very much appreciated. They seem to be using different local drivers under the company's name, so the quality of the vehicle, driving style and character of the drivers varied widely, ranging from some providing us with wifi and being very safe, polite and laid-back; to a younger man who tried to be a tour-guide including bringing us to some souvenir shops. However, we were able to deny this and he just got us to our destination. Overall, good experience and would book again with them.

We loved using CocoTours. Super easy to book and both times, the drivers were in advance. We felt super safe with our drivers (shout out to Daniel). We highly recommend and we will definitely use them again !

We arrived in Santo Domingo airport at 3am and our driver was ready and waiting for us with a sign. We were exhausted and got into a very clean van that we had all to ourselves (likely due to the early hour). We arrived at our resort in La Romana in record time. On our trip back to Santo Domingo airport our pick up time was 1 am. Our driver was 25 minutes early which was a welcome surprise. We arrived to the airport with time to spare and our driver offered us bottled water as we were getting out of the van, which again was spotless. Very impressed with Cocotours and will absolutely be using them again.

I can only recommend the company. The pick up from Hilton Hotel, La Romana to the cruise ship worked out super punctually. Also the pickup from the port to the hotel worked great and also on time. One always strives that the customer is satisfied. The fact that all the communication is done via WhatsApp lets everything quickly clarify

Very easy to contact, we had a time change and I wrote on whatsup A day before our arrival and he arrived exactly at the requested time Small problem the driver fell asleep I talked to him almost the whole way because my friends and my wife were afraid he would fall asleep but overall very good
