La Boutique Mobile Punta Cana

We stayed at the Lopesan resort. The forecast showed rain so we reached out to Chez Nicole to see if we could get a ride to shop! They arranged transportation at 9:30. We shopped, tasted coffee, got drinks at the bar & loved it all. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the goods are top notch…. C’est nickel! Highly recommend for your vacation!

The hotel, Ocean El Faro, arranged a complementary van ride to the boutique (I believe paid for by the boutique to bring in customers... Which is quite smart of you all me. We weren't expecting to pick up at another resort, so the drive took significantly longer than expected (40 min), which ended with my daughter being car sick! The driver pulled over so we could get her some fresh air and then we were back on the road to the shop. Once we arrived, Helen, the shop operations manager, went above and beyond to make my daughter feel better. She even ran and got her some gravol, perhaps from her personal stash, as she didn't charge us. The shop itself is a little more expensive for trinkets and bobbles, but not unexpected for a gated community and free ride. You know when you're getting something "for free" there is a price to pay somehow...whether with time or money. They have a large selection of coffee, chocolate, sugar, vanilla (white and brown), chocolate tea, spices, and liquor, at relatively great piece. They have an ok selection of cigars (Romeo and Juliet, Davidoff, LFDs, Monte Cristo - but according to my husband it wasn't a great selection). The hot chocolate is to die for! Dominicans really do hot chocolate great here! We learned the secret recipe (4 scoops chocolate into a bit of water to melt, 1/2 litre of milk, 1 stick of cinnamon, 1 tsp sugar, and pinch of salt... Cook for 15 mins). They have coco shampoo, conditioner, vitamin E, and everything you can think of for the body or hair, all made of coco. AND, they have "whale sperm" hair masks! Yes, you read that correctly, and yes I've used it in the past and it's amazing! The smell is NOT great, but your hair will love you! They sell very expensive Larimar jewelry, but again, it's to be expected at a tourist trap, but the items are very well made! Because my daughter was sick on the way in, Helen arranged to have us take a dedicated van back to our hotel, which was very nice and quite helpful. Overall our experience was good and I would recommend the commentary ride if your looking for 1.5 hour time off the resort. 4/5 only because it's small and more of a tourist trap $$$, but 5/5 for service.

We were picked up at our hotel on time , did a couple of other pick ups on the way , bus was clean and driver friendly . Been here before , a great place to pick up local gifts / souvenirs . No pressure to buy . Greeted by the owner on arrival who explained a couple of things to us . Those that don’t like to shop can enjoy golf course views and a drink . Really nice place and would recommend .

We loved our visit here! They picked us up promptly at the resort as booked (free shuttle) and brought us to the boutique. We were made to feel very welcome, with no pressure to buy anything. Great selection, lots of samples to try, beautiful boutique- we will definitely come back here on our next trip.

It was so easy to book the transportation with them. They communicated well. The shopping experience was wonderful. The boutique is very clean, well priced, friendly staff that personally talked to me. I was traveling alone on this trip and felt very safe and well taken care of. The quality of products was excellent!

This was a free trip from our Hotel. I can certainly recommend a visit to Chez Nicole. Lovely little shop selling local products, and souvenirs. The host Helen was very friendly and welcoming. If you get the chance definately visit. Kelvin and Joanne North Yorkshire, England.

We were supposed to be picked up from our hotel but nobody showed up even after waiting for 30 min. Do’t try this.

If you want souvenirs made in Dominican Republic, this is NOT the place! If you want your souvenirs made in China, this IS the place. Go elsewhere!!

This place is amazing! The store layout is easy to navigate. The shop itself is in a beautiful setting. We had a van pick us up from our resort which made it so convenient. The shop has beautiful merchandise, and their selection of Larimar jewelry is the best I’ve ever seen. Karyne was wonderful to work with. When we were finished shopping we sat in a gazebo lounge sipping rum drinks until the van arrived to take us back to our hotel. It was one of the best shopping experiences I have had! Thank you Karyne for my beautiful jewelry!

Tried contacting the vendor 15 days before to discuss time for pickup and never heard from her. Viator contacted the vendor and still no communication. Of course they never showed up.

Very disappointed! Our driver never showed up. We then wasted yet another hour before someone got back to us to let us know they couldn’t rebook us during our stay. Really messed up our day.

Great moment at the shop, the saleswomen always have a smile and are welcoming 🌸 Superb products at affordable prices. And thanks to Patrick for the class, my favorite domino teacher! 🤪 I highly recommend him!

Very pleasant shop with sellers who speak French. The prices are displayed and very reasonable. You will receive advice and tastings of coffee rums.

Recommended by our tour operator during the welcome meeting, we planned this outing for our small souvenir gifts. Appointment time was respected and the transportation was perfect. A small soothing haven in the shop with a relaxation area and bar. The attention and advice in French are worth noting. We pay in euros without any issues. We were delighted with this outing because the Riu hotel is isolated, and we would not have been able to plan this visit on our own.

What a beautiful little discovery 🥰 And what a welcome and organization, never seen before! After contacting the shop for information, I was offered a free pick up at the hotel and return as well. Arrived on site we were warmly welcomed and offered tastings. There is a large selection of products at more than reasonable prices, I paid less for magnets for example at the shop than at the seller at the market 😳 The shop is definitely worth a visit

Let you drive to the shop with the shuttle that will pick you up from your hotel... at Nicole's we have the best welcome! First with the traditional mamajuana and the smiles and kindnesses of the team! Need some advice? Try chocolate, coffee, rum? You will be pleased! Want to be sure you're buying real Larimar? We're in the right place. The prices are frankly reasonable and the quality is there! Do not hesitate to dance the meringue in passing and take a nice photo on the swing ♥️ anyway we loved it! The place is magical, there are so many beautiful things, our eyes don't know where to look anymore!! We were a group of 17 and we were welcomed as if we were family. The staff took the time to explain what the shop offered. We were treated to a tasting of chocolate, Rum, Mamawa (this is the best kind I have tasted), etc... We almost all left with a bottle of Mamawa;-) There is even a place with chairs for you to relax while having a good refreshment that can be obtained at the small bar at the entrance of the store. In short, if you go to Punta Cana, don’t leave without having been at the Boutique at Nicole’s, in addition, it is three nice Quebec women who have opened this shop for more than 20 years now. Importantly, there is a free shuttle from the hotels to the shop and it returns to drive you to your hotel. There, I leave Nicole's house with a good memory, I hope soon!

WOW. It is difficult to find the right words to describe the experience of our visit to Chez Nicole. First, the place: The shop has nothing to do with the others. An open, airy and beautifully decorated place. This shop is located right next to a golf course, which makes it feel really isolated and in nature. Part outside, part inside, as well as small places to sit and relax by reviewing our purchases. Then the welcome: Never in my life have I been so well received. First of all, all the staff speak French, which is good for our Quebec heart. Then we feel as soon as we arrive that our well-being during the visit is important. We are explained the various places of the shop and offered a basket to place the objects. We can touch, try, all without any pressure. The staff is present but not at all invasive. When necessary, it is easy to have personalized advice as the staff is really attentive to our needs. With Patrick we tasted several rums and other alcohol available in store. We felt that Patrick had fun showing us the products of the Dominican Republic. Because yes! It is important to mention that ALL that is sold in the shop is a product of the Dominican Republic. The owner, Mylène, is constantly looking for new local craftsmen and producers to show us. Finally, the bar: It's quite simple: Best Pina Colada of our lives. My spouse and I even asked for the recipe that is made with simple ingredients and not ready mixes as in other places. It was just DE-LI-HEAVEN. A visit to Chez Nicole is for me a MUST-SEE of Punta Cana. Plan a morning or a full afternoon to enjoy the beautiful scenery and sip a good pina colada.

A very nice shop with many souvenir items to discover! Classics: magnet mugs, food, jewelry, cosmetics, alcohol, cigars and decorative elements! The choice is wide and all prices are displayed:) Great transfer service that picks you up and rests you!

Clean, tidy, quiet place. The staff speaks French and is kind enough to sell. Awards are half as cheap as in hotels. They even give you a tasting of everything you want to buy. The undeniable positive: a mini bus picks us up at the Inn and takes us back for FREE. I am more than satisfied and highly recommend it.

No regrets about coming to Nicole Boutique, go there really with your eyes closed you will not regret, the store is really pretty we find everything at really interesting Awards much more than in the shops of the hotels or around. The setting is super friendly and the welcome is very friendly, Nicole and her saleswomen are adorable.

The shop is pretty, there are original jewelry, but above all, the welcome is exceptional. We are advised in French, English or Spanish. Transportation from Inn to Shop is free and efficient. Thank you.

Everything was perfect!! Beautiful shop!! Staff at the top!! Very good products!!! That day I would make my birthday and the team offered us a drink and I was entitled to the song and after choosing our gifts for friends and family my spouse gave me a ring with the l arimar!! And proposed to me!! So that very good memories

Very nice shop in a very nice setting, close to a golf course. You are very well received, the salespeople are not behind you to harass you, and kindly advise you when you ask them questions. Prices are correct, below what you can find in your hotel shop, and well below Bella Mar store which makes the same products but at completely exorbitant prices! This is a really good place to recommend for those looking for souvenirs, without making a fortune.

For us only positive points First of all, we pick you up from the hotel for free, once you arrive on the spot, explanations made in French (but also in German English Spanish etc.) on the organization of the shop and the different products offered. But the best thing for me is that no one pushes you to buy! prices are clear and converted into Euros or Pesos. The last two points are not commonplace in RD
