Horseback Riding Adventure Punta Cana

The staff was amazing from beginning to end! Everyone was welcoming, professional, and made sure we had a great experience. Big P took excellent care of us and made the excursion even more enjoyable! The price was affordable, the experience was worth every penny, and there was no unnecessary fluff. I would absolutely recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Punta Cana. Definitely something you should add to your itinerary!

We had the best time here! We came as a couple in January and loved it and then brought the kids along this time!! They were absolutely brilliant with my 6 year old who was a little bit nervous to start! They put him & us at ease and we had a great ride! Really helpful & friendly staff! We would return in a heartbeat, great place! Only advice is to book before you go through somewhere like Tripadvisor or get your guide etc ! We paid less booking ahead of time this way for our family (3 adults & 2 kids) . For the horse riding it was only around £120 for 5 of us, but when we booked at the resort for us as a couple in January it was around that per person!! By saving that money on booking meant we had more money to spend on the actual excursion. I would rather spend that money in the pocket of the people at the ranch than the mark up the tour operators are making on the resort!

This was a good horseback ride! Yall put on a lot of bug spray on an enjoy yourself. The guides were great and friendly. The horses were tamed an calm I truly enjoyed myself and would recommend

We had a great time! Pick up was convenient: they came to our condo in Punta Cana and took us directly there. The operation was very clean and organized. The people were very sweet and helpful. They spoke English and they took us on a secluded tour just the two of us. The guide FLO was super fun and helpful. The views were gorgeous through the jungle and on the beach. The horses were well cared for and very gentle. They took lots of pictures and we were able to take pictures with our phones. we got to canter and walk and just had a really great time. They provided a package with all of the pictures and videos, a magnet, and some Mama Juana with our picture on it for a reasonable extra cost. That whole package was airdropped right onto our phones and they gave us a memory stick. We just had such a good time! We highly recommend this Tour operation.

The experience itself was great- we were picked up on time, the drive was safe and fun in the open air vehicle, we were led to our horses and given safety instructions and the guides were very friendly. The tour on the beach was beautiful. It was the pandering afterwards- asking for a gratuity is one thing, and we're happy to oblige. But asking $150 for digital photos of the ride is ridiculous, and then asking us to go in to their gift shop "to help their family" multiple times got old. We felt like they were waiting to load us into the return vehicle until we all bought something.

Our guides, Orlando and Manuel, we're excellent! I hadn't ridden in years but they made it so comfortable! The horses were gentle. The weather was beautiful!

We had a great experience! Pedro and Manuel were super nice. We have more experience riding horses so they let us cantor on the beach! It was so much fun! It took about an hour to get to the ranch from Melia Punta Cana Beach because they stopped to pick up another couple. Definitely worth it to book!

It was great from start to finish. Pick up to drop off. Pedro and Ryan were very nice. Juan was the young man who took me out for the ride. He was patient and entertaining. This was my first time riding. I give this ranch a 10 out of 10

Experience over all 10/10 guys that we ride the horses with was really good and nice over all experience at the end when it come to buying pictures they try and rip you off 139$ to are drop you some photos are ridiculous I have traveled a lot of countries but never ever tried to charge that amount so I didn’t purchase so be curious about that

Guides were friendly and awesome, hence the 2 stars. The group was very large, and there were very loud, screaming, swearing people in our group. Next time would absolutely pay for a private group ride. Our riding on the beach consisted of about 10 minutes of riding, and 20 minutes of waiting for individual pictures of everyone. The other time spent on the ride was through the town roads, dodging vehicles and barking dogs. Absolutely unnecessary, I thought we were going somewhere on the streets but we hit a dead end and turned around and came back the way we went. The other complaint was that we traveled an hour each way, so 2 hours of travel for less than an hour of riding. That would obviously change depending on your resort, but something to think about and check on if possible.

We enjoyed our horseback riding experience. We got a group picture before and multiple pictures throughout.... I was even a daredevil and utilize my phone throughout the ride. The horses were great and we didn't have any experiences that made you feel unsafe. At times, it was always that the horses were minding our guides more so than us handling them.... but it was OK nonetheless we enjoyed our hour.

We had such an awesome experience horseback riding! From start to finish, the staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They made sure we felt comfortable and safe the entire time, and you could tell the horses were well cared for. The horses were great, calm, and easy to ride, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff was attentive and made everything fun and stress-free. We had such a good time and made some amazing memories during our ride. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area and looking for something fun and memorable to do!

The guides weren’t too professional

A truly amazing experience. Horses were healthy, well looked after and knew instinctively the riders capability. We walked, trotted and centered across the sand. Views were beautiful and cannot fault our guides. Oscar was a charming host at the Rancho too.

At the ranch, we received a brief safety lecture, helmets, and two guides for our group of eight. The ride itself was enjoyable and lasted about two hours instead of the one hour advertised. There were some safety concerns. The horses sometimes walked too close together, causing the stirrups to rub and nearly knocking off my shoe. The guide stopped promptly when I alerted him, but more space between horses would have been safer. We also passed road construction with heavy machinery and nearby traffic, and the riding paths contained trash, coconut debris, and fallen branches. At the shoreline, the incoming tide and soft sand made the beach portion nerve-wracking, and my horse did not want to enter the water. Thankfully, everything went smoothly overall. Because it was very hot, all guests should have been provided with water. If you want additional photos, bring your own phone or camera, but secure loose items carefully so they do not fall while riding. The photography package was disappointing. We paid $120 which was initially priced for $132, I was told there were 86 photos, but many were duplicated 5 times, with nly one photo on a horse at the ranch. only 4-5 poses by the beach and only three videos. There were no photos with the horses in the water. The included photo magnet was a nice idea, but it felt cheaply made and came apart by the time I got home. We were also strongly encouraged to buy a personalized bottle of Mama Juana, which we could not take home in our carry-on luggage. The souvenir shop had no marked prices, and we were initially quoted $120 for three wooden items before negotiating the price down to $60. The ranch manager was persistent and pressured us to pay in cash, even though we had already spent most of ours on photos and tips. Overall, the horseback ride was fun, the guides were helpful, the horses were well behaved, and the experience lasted longer than expected. I would recommend it, but the company should improve path maintenance, horse spacing, shoreline safety, access to water, photography quality, and its approach to upselling. Bring enough cash if you plan to buy photos or souvenirs, and expect some pressure to purchase extras.

The horseback riding was super and the beach route was fantastic! The staff were very attentive to everyone. The only negative is that they push hard to sell photos. The pictures are great, but way too expensive, so we didn't buy any. They would probably sell more if they lowered the price. Still a wonderful experience!

Had a fantastic time on this experience MAINLY because of our guides, they were funny, kept the horses in line, and made the experience THE BEST. They had great jokes and kept the mood light-hearted. If you can go with a group that's SMALLER than 5 people, you're WINNING because it's more intimate and manageable that way. Would HIGHLY recommend for the price - as it included pick up from our AirBNB as well.

Absolutely magical horse riding experience. The horses were beautiful, healthy and clearly very well cared for. We loved every minute of it. The only downside was the photos. $190 for digital pictures and four short videos is extortionate, and we weren’t told the price beforehand. Had I known, I would have taken my own photos. When we declined the package, the reaction made the ending feel a little uncomfortable, which was a shame after such a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend the horse riding, but guests should be made aware of the photo prices beforehand.

This experience was definitely worth the money. They really care about the experience you have and really ensure the safety of everyone. I would definitely do it again!! 10/10 experience even in the humidity!

I had the best time on this excursion. The ranch was so amazing and clean, the horses were beautiful and well trained. 10/10 activity for a solo traveler like myself of with a parter or family and kids.

Make sure you are communicating ahead of time to know what time you will be picked up to be prepared. Everything else was smooth. My horse was very well behaved I loved it.

The scenery was absolutely stunning, and it was the perfect way to enjoy Punta Cana. As a solo traveler, I felt completely comfortable and welcomed the entire time. I would definitely do this again on a future trip and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable experience.

Longer than anticipated which was great. The ranchers were funny and nice. Enjoyed the scenery. After the excursion, they offer a digital photo package with the liquor and magnet included. I feel it was overpriced and it cost more than the excursion for 4 people itself. I opted to make a small purchase instead to hold onto the memories with my family. After the excursion there's an onsite market. They too are very overly priced, moreso then the resort I was staying. If they lowered their pricing it would help to entice visitors to make more of a purchase. Overall, it was a lovely experience my family will be going again

Beautiful experience, felt safe with the people guiding us Diamond the White House the leader was beautiful! Only thing is get ready to spend on pictures 25 each or a whole package 120! But overall very beautiful! Go during sun down by the beach! Get ready ladies your botty, is gonna need a nice massage after ! Advil 600 After! Hope this helps! I would go again!!!!!

Had a great time with my kids ages 5, 8 and 10 also had my mother join who is 67. Overall the ride was nice. Pick up and drop off is included but the vehicle is open so no AC and this was brutal since its like 90 in July. The horses were calm and the team members were nice. They sell pictures at the end which are overpriced at $189. However, overall the experience was nice and I would do it again.

The horses was so gentle . Our guide was awesome. Love the fact that they have a shop where you can get souvenirs.

Very good, the horses were brilliant and the staff were fun. We had lots of lovely canters on the beach and we really enjoyed the ride.

This was the best ride I’ve ever been on. We did the one hour ride in the morning. Our pick up arrived on time with an air conditioned van. The guides were fun and knowledgeable. Pedro told me all the horses names, their likes and dislikes. My daughter and I got to gallop on the beach. It was an unfortunate experience. I 100% recompensed Rancho Caribeño!

We had an amazing time! My kids, 7 & 9 absolutely loved it too! The kids rode alone which scared the s out of me but they did well.

We did the 1 hour morning ride at 9:00 am. The transfer was an open air bus. Great for seeing the sites. Note: we were notified the morning of what time pick Up would be. Upon arrival at the ranch we were greeted, signed waivers, fitted for helmets and put on the horses. The horses were very easy to ride and well trained. There were 3 commands with your reins. Left, right and stop. Pretty easy! There is staff to take picture on the beach and video of the group riding. We didn’t decide to buy them. But did get the magnet :) The ride went through a trail, on the beach, on the street and back again. The views of water and beach were amazing. This excursion was the highlight of our trip. I wish I got his name. But the guide was so fun and kind and knowledgeable. He had a way of making everyone very comfortable. All in al, we were gone from the hotel from 8:10 -1:30 which was far longer than I expected. But I’m so glad we went. My husband (55) and daughter (21) both agreed that we would do it again! Only disappointment was we didn’t see any t shirts with the ranch name on them to buy as souvenirs! 10/10. Thank you for a great time.

We are always skeptical when doing an excursion and out of the country, but this was close to the hotel we were staying and seemed to have good reviews. We did the 2 hour ride and I have to say, the entire experience was awesome!! The guides made it very fun. Stopped for a break, got to have coconut milk straight from the coconut, saw some great scenery and the ride on the beach was amazing!! Yes, they try to sell you some rum with your picture on, which is pretty cool, and pictures they took during the ride, but it's a business and they didn't pressure you at all...if you said no, they moved on. I'd do it again in a minute if we go back to Punta Cana, definitely recommend it!

Brilliant morning horse riding. Years I have followed my granddaughter and her pony on foot. It was nice to ride together for the first time. A piece of advise; if you want to make extra sales after the tour, drop your prices!! Lower prices and gain volume of sales! More monies in your pocket! $135 dollar for a small bottle of none alcoholic food Sauce, a fridge magnet and copies of the photos taken was well over priced!! Half your price and make more money!! I’m a business entrepreneur.

They were so nice and cool. They take a lot of great pictures and pls make sure to support the local shops rather than the airport or gift shops in the resorts.

Horses are well looked after and the trip is lovely but a bit chaotic. You go along and beach and through a wooded area, my son was scared as we were not shown how to stop the horse, the guide tethered his horse to my son's and he loved it after that. They take photos and videos and the prices were ridiculous, $120 for one adult and one child. This is double what I paid for the trip, it put a damper on the whole trip unfortunately. It was really good fun and I do recommend it.

we had a wonderful experience. the instructors do a good job! the pictures they took were amazing but so far out of budget. i feel like everyone was willing to buy them but not for THAT price. hopefully they lower the price and they will be able to make more because no one bought any pics

Such an amazing experience! The people are so kind! Another thing crossed off our bucket list! Shout out to Oscar, he was so kind and took care of my son above and beyond!!!

Saddles were not comfortable. My butt is still sore 3 days after. A one hour experience ended up eating up just over two hours long with way too much sitting and waiting around and watching each others photo ops from the ride. Awkward and super public money grab and time waste. Photos were $25 EACH. Or $100+ for some mamajuana bottle with an awful taped photo and magnet thrown in with same bad taped photo. Then on the way out, they force you to browse their gift shop after we said no thanks we’re good. The horses were also semi aggressive, many trying to snap at each other while riding. Two people in our public group even fell.

What a great afternoon! The horses and guides were great. They picked us up from our resort and took is back. We spent the extra $ to get all the amazing pictures they took along the way. 💖

We are 64 and 65 and had so much fun!!! The ride out to the ranch was flawless and comfortable. The instructors were great. The guides were so much fun. The scenery was gorgeous!!!!! Highly recommend this operator!
