Our Cultural Safari stands out because we don’t just show places — we connect travelers with the real Dominican culture. We have selected stops so our guests can live authentic experiences: visit local communities, see how cacao and coffee are made in an artisanal way, visit the Basilica of Higüey, enjoy a typical Dominican lunch by the river, and interact with local people.
In addition, we keep smaller groups to offer a more personalized experience, a more human connection, and allow the traveler to ask questions, learn, and truly feel the Dominican Republic from the inside.

At Macao Beach, you can enjoy both relaxation and adventure. Here, you can relax under the sun, swim in its crystal-clear waters, or take a walk along the shore.
A typical house in Anamuya, in the rural area of Anamuya near Higüey, reflects the simplicity and traditions of the Dominican countryside. It is generally built with wood or concrete blocks, with a zinc roof and a wide front porch where the family sits to talk and enjoy the fresh countryside breeze. Many houses are painted in bright colors such as blue, green, or yellow, creating a warm and Caribbean atmosphere. The yard is usually spacious, with fruit trees like mango, avocado, and plantain. It is also common to see chickens, dogs, and small gardens where they grow cassava, corn, or beans.
The Basilica of Higüey, officially named the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Altagracia, is a Catholic sanctuary located in Salvaleón de Higüey, Dominican Republic. It is the cathedral of the Diocese of Our Lady of Altagracia in Higüey, and one of the most visited sanctuaries in the Caribbean. Beautiful construction, design and architecture. You must dress appropriately for the church, with shoulders and knees covered.
Rancho Real Cigar Factory offers an authentic experience where visitors can learn about the Dominican cigar-making tradition. At this typical ranch, tourists discover the handcrafted cigar production process, from selecting the tobacco leaves to the final hand-rolling done by skilled torcedores (cigar rollers). During the visit, guests can observe each step of the process and understand the importance of tobacco in the culture and economy of the Dominican Republic.
Higüey City Tour: Travelers can explore the city of Higüey, with its streets full of history and cultural atmosphere. During the tour, they will learn about the history of the city, visit the Culture Square, the Altagracia Museum, and other points of interest.

My family and I had a great day seeing the Dominican Republic. The driver and guide for the tour were friendly and wonderful. We went to many places and met wonderful people. We had good food and went to a beautiful beach. I would recommend!!!

The itinerary was not respected, since they did not take us to Macao Beach as stipulated. The guide decided based on the opinion of part of the group without consulting. The explanations were minimal.
