Guided E Bike City Tour In Punta Cana

Was the best experience of the week! Katie was an amazing guide. I highly recommend it! We would do it again in a heartbeat and meeting the locals and the food was great!

First and foremost, Katie was absolutely AMAZING on this tour! Katie was patient, kind, friendly, and personable. After making sure we knew what we were doing on these fun bikes, we safely ventured out on the road to quaint Nicole Boutique for a bit of shopping and some tastings. Back on our bikes, we made way to Plaza Bibijagua where we bargained our way thru the array of extremely kind and respectful shops. After about an hour here Katie led us to Downtown Punta Cana. Here we snacked on the best chicken empanada we've ever had at La Casita de YeYa. They need to bottle that hot sauce, hubs is still talking about that sauce! The ACTUAL tour was 10/10 with Katie. The pick up from our resort, Dreams Cap Cana, was a little rocky. The driver, Carlos, was almost 1 hour late. He got hung up at the security entrance to Cap Cana. We had to verify that he was enroute to come get us for the tour thru our concierge. Appreciate the security. However, again, Katie more than made up for this 1 mishap, and kept us well informed of the delay. Oh, Katie also takes photos & video, which she provides to you at the end of the tour. We WILL book this tour again, it was the highlight of our trip! Thank you Katie!

If the pick up was easier and smoother things would have been easier but once we got going everything was smooth and well prepared

Our guided e-bike city tour in Punta Cana was a **10/10 experience!** Everyone in our group was riding an e-bike for the first time, and the guides were incredibly patient, helpful, and attentive. You could immediately tell that **safety was their top priority**, which made the experience so much more enjoyable. Katty was absolutely amazing! She was so caring about our safety and genuinely great to talk to. She felt like someone I had known for years. There were two kids in our group, and Katty especially looked out for the little boy as if he were her own. Whenever we stopped at the local spots, she held his hand and made sure he stayed close to her. That level of care really stood out to me. The guides were also extremely helpful after we stopped to shop, even assisting us with our bags. **Fair warning: the vendors can be overwhelming!** If you’re visiting Punta Cana and considering this excursion, **DO IT!** The guides, the safety, the scenery, and the overall experience were all fantastic. We did this tour early July. Leading up to the tour, we received updates and responses. Please be sure to check how and where you’ll be picked up. Katy was our guide. She provided a quick tutorial which seemed to be sufficient for the tour. She was very friendly and brought us to different places in the city. The streets of Punta Cana are a bit sketchy as drivers will drive around you if they feel you’re blocking their way. This isn’t so bad if you’re a local, but can be a bit intimidating to someone on a bike trying to navigate the streets. This is also concerning when you have a passenger on the bike as well. At the end of tour, we were told we would receive a copy of the photos and videos taken during the tour. All communication was cut off at that point. And no responses were provided when I reached out. To date, we haven’t received any responses or copies of photos or videos. This is a tour if you want to see places outside your resort and to do some exploring.

I had the most amazing experience! Katie was fun, attentive, safe, knowledgeable, and caring. The stops were great and the empanada snack was a treat. The best empanadas! I did not feel comfortable driving on my own so Katie drove me and I felt comfortable and safe. She took pictures and videos and sent them to us so we could just enjoy the experience. Thank you Katie for making my birthday special!

This was the first time my husband and my son going to Punta Cana. Katie was a great tour guide for the e bikes she took the time to get my son AJ comfortable riding before we began. The chicken empanadas were great! Overall I would book this excursion again had a great time!!

It was a great tour with a great tour guide. We took the scooters to downtown Punta Cana then a boutique shop then a restaurant where we had empanadas and then went to a peaceful park. Felt like I was a local for the day!

Great experience. It's a must do when you are in the area. Katie worked with us as we were not experienced in riding the e-bikes at all. The wife did not feel comfortable and I didn't drive well with the wife on the back so Katie let her ride with her.

This was such a fun experience! Katie was a great guide and very patient in teaching us how to ride the bikes safely. (I am a slow poke). All of the stops were great and allowed us to see and learn more about the Dominican Republic outside of our resort. I would definitely recommend this excursion.

Great experience. Super fun riding the e bikes! Shopping by the beach was a little overwhelming. But we found a few things to take home! Empanadas were yummy! Waiting for transportation took a little longer than I would have liked. Katy and Nelson were amazing and so kind!

This was an amazing experience! It was my family and I’s first time riding e-bikes like this, and the instructors did an incredible job making us feel comfortable and confident. They gave us plenty of time to practice before getting started, which made a big difference. The stops along the way were great—not too long, but just enough time to enjoy the surroundings and even pick up a few souvenirs. And the empanadas were absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a fun and memorable experience.

This was a fun experience, loved how patient Katie was with us when teaching us to ride the E-Bikes. Which can be a tad bit scary in the beginning if you aren't very familiar with them. Enjoyed all of the different stops, and the chicken empanada's were the absolute best that I've ever had! I would highly recommend this excursion, she also took tons of pictures.

The practice area was small for training a large number of people. The motor bikes were in decent condition. My helmet was dirty though. Nice experience once we got going, even though I almost got hit by a car and my niece crashed.

This was a fun day. Our guides, Katie & Nelson, were very friendly & conscientious. They gave us a short, but thorough lesson on the bikes in their lot before hitting the road. We were a little leery of being out in traffic. However most of the local drivers were respectful & tolerant of us. And the bikes were actually pretty easy to ride after you got used to them. We enjoyed getting off the resort for a day and seeing some of the local area. We especially enjoyed our stop at Bibijagua Beach. We picked up a few neat souvenirs there, and enjoyed just walking around. The vendors there were friendly & easy to deal with. Several seemed to know Katie our guide, so I'm sure that helped. The reasonable tour price included p/u & return to our resort. Overall a very enjoyable time. We will do this again on our next trip to Punta Cana.

This is a great experience. Katie was very knowledgeable. We stopped at 4 places to experience the culture. We had a brief safety lesson. The bikes were fun and shaped like a Harley Motor bike. It was fun. Katie took pictures of us along the way and at the end of the tour she shared the pictures to our phones. Great way to save and enjoy your experience all over again.

We were given the opportunity to practice riding in a controlled area before heading out, which made a noticeable difference, especially for those who may have been new to e-bikes. Once we set off, the experience truly came alive. Riding through Punta Cana with the breeze coming off the coast was refreshing and invigorating. The weather could not have been better, and the wind while riding only added to the overall enjoyment. The excursion itself was thoughtfully planned, with a variety of meaningful stops along the way. We had the chance to do some local shopping, enjoy an authentic Dominican lunch, and spend time unwinding at the beach. One of the more memorable moments was visiting a park where we saw turtles in a pond—an unexpected and peaceful highlight that added a unique touch to the day. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the quality of the guides. They were calm, patient, and highly knowledgeable, offering insight into Dominican history and culture in a way that felt natural and engaging rather than scripted. Their demeanor created a relaxed atmosphere that allowed everyone to fully enjoy the experience. My wife and I both agreed—this excursion easily earns a 10 out of 10. It was exciting without being overwhelming, informative without being heavy, and fun from beginning to end. If you’re visiting Punta Cana and looking for something active yet culturally enriching, this is absolutely worth your time.

Kathy was amazing! It was our first time riding so she made sure everyone was comfortable before going out on the streets. She even accommodated 2 from our group that still wanted the experience but didn’t want to be the driver. We got to sightsee, shop, and eat! Would definitely recommend.

If you’re in for a scenic view of Punta Cana, this is not for you. It’s mostly all city very busy driving

It’s was a very peaceful ride. She made us feel comfortable and made sure we knew how to operate the e-bikes before getting on the ride. She didn’t rush us when shopping at local stores, she was nice and had great hospitality.

This is an excursion to do for all adults! Our tour rep was Katty and you couldn’t ask for a better leader. Friendly, knowledgeable and kind! Was a little nervous about the traffic but after practicing riding the bikes in the parking lot the confidence grew and the anxiety left. We followed Katty to a beautiful gift shop where the employees were welcoming and then to bibijagua which is a building full of vendors. Can be a little pushy but did buy a few things and they were very grateful. It is their source of income and love to support them instead of store. We then went into town and had empanadas at a small authentic restaurant and the best empanadas that we have had. The last stop was a park that had fish and turtles and statues in a beautiful natural environment. Absolutely breathtaking and peaceful. The excursion cost was minimal for the adventure and really could cost more and still be well worth the adventure. Hope Katty and the e bike adventure all the prosperity and success. Katie took us out about town and for an authentic DR snack downtown. We loved the adventure and seeing the beach and shopping too. Katie is a great e-bike instructor as it was my first time!

1. We got there and the little office you are taken to is pretty damn dirty. The bathroom was disgusting. My wife needed to use it but there wasn’t even a toilet seat! 2. It was advertised as beginner friendly and it is not(at least for us). The e-bikes have a very touchy throttle. If you ride it is probably pretty easy. 3. We opted not to do the tour for safety purposes and was told we had to wait hours in that crappy office before someone could take us back to the hotel. We opted to get an Uber and get the heck out. 4. After conversation with Viator the operator only refunded 1/2 our money. We escalated the situation and are still waiting on a response from Viator. So all in all very disappointed in this tour. We have used Viator exclusively and still most likely will but disappointed this tour was not vetted better.

So much fun exploring the area with Katty. The Ebikes are really scooters but easy to drive. I loved feeling like a local tooling around on scooters. We saw some cool areas. There was some pressure to shop, but honestly id rather give my business to the locals than to the resort stores owned by (most likely) an American. The empanada was so yummy and the downtown area really fun to see too. Highly recommend

This was a very different experience that turned out to be one of the highlights of our vacation. The e-bike riding was great, the food was great, and Katty and team did an excellent job of making us feel welcome. We had a lot of fun. The training was helpful, and the driver who picked us up at the hotel was happy, friendly, and on time. Zero complaints and we will do this again on our next trip to Punta Cana.

Thank you to Katie for a fun tour. I was not the best bike rider but Katie was very patient and a good teacher! She was very friendly, easy to chat with and made the tour enjoyable. We went to several different stops and it was nice to be able to see outside of the resort. We enjoy exploring areas and seeing more than the hotel, this was a good way to do this. There is some practice time on the bike before you go on the road and you are close to Katie who keeps watch the whole time. As a family of 4 we all enjoyed the tour! Thank you.

Not your typical E-bike, this is throttle control like a motorcycle but the guides give you basic training and then like a baby bird they push you out the nest aka (the streets of Punta Cana) we had a great time and would definitely recommend to do.
