DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. They're scammers. If I could leave a 0 rating, I would. I booked this excursion for my husband and young daughters before I left for our trip. Everything was all good until the day before the excursion when I started to become suspicious. No one reached out to me to reconfirm pick up time nor location (7am in the hotel lobby). The morning of, I woke up my 3 & 7yo daughters extremely early to be ready on time. I sent messages via TripAdvisor and not one response! We waited in the hotel lobby for an hr and no one ever came. I had to call TripAdvisor to find out what was going on. That's an international call therefore it's going to be on my phone bill. Not only did this company take money from me and not provide any type of service, they wasted our precious time. I'm back from my trip and they still haven't reached out to apologize nor refund me. Let me reiterate, DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE SCAMMERS.

Isla Saona is surrounded by beautiful beaches and history, and is one of the most sought after places in the southeast of the Dominican Republic. Activity options, you can simply relax on the loungers and sip drinks from the open bar. Stroll along the white sand beach under swaying palm trees to collect shells or go for a swim until it's time for the buffet lunch.
A stop is made at the natural swimming pool at Playa Palmilla, about 200 or 300 meters from the beach line, with the water at the knees or at the waist, to enjoy the perfect scenery and climate. Bathers have to enjoy around 800 meters parallel to the beach, between the white sand and the huge coral terrace that separates the natural pool from the open sea and that makes this geological wonder possible.

The boat part of the tour was amazing as was the food. Best meal we had in the Dominican. The natural pool was simply breathtaking. I would suggest you bring your own snorkelling gear to get the full experience. We saw starfish and crabs on the sea floor as well as a passing sea turtle. It was the transportation that was the negative. The transportation was very disorganized with poor communication to the travellers. The driver on the way back was speaking to a passenger beside him in Spanish and it appeared they were making some type of deal. We had families in the bus with small children. The driver stopped on the way back at a very sketchy part of Punta Cana so the couple in the front could visit an ATM. I noticed a security guard with a shotgun was patrolling the ATM with several sketchy people around while the driver attended leaving the van unattended with the families on board. I believe we missed our transfer as he was on the phone trying to arrange transportation. Next we stopped at a gift shop for about 45 min left alone again while he went in the shop with the couple he made the deal with. Finally we got back to our resort well after the time expected. I would avoid at all costs. Book with another tour guide.

Absolutely a must do. The massage on the beach is good. You have to haggle with the price almost down to 80% of the price. Overall will definitely recommend. Willie the tour guide was really good too.
This is a rip-off that nobody wants to take responsibility for; they only took us to the natural pool for 30 minutes and to Saona Island for 2 hours, but we paid for an all-day tour and not for 2 and a half hours. They picked us up 2 hours late and did not deliver what we paid for. This is a scam don’t go in this tour.
We had no inconvenience during the tour. The staff was very professional and the tour fulfilled everything promised.

Very long travel times, from Punta Cana on a bus crammed and then on a boat with the captain shooting the music loud, poor Saône island exploited by a million people, poor buffet and vomiting and diarrhea the next day.
We had the opportunity to make an excursion with BRX services, located inside the Nickelodeon resort, and it was a wonderful experience. The island we visited is simply spectacular: a veritable paradise with crystal clear waters, breathtaking scenery and tranquility worth enjoying. However, the only thing I didn't love was the little time spent on the island. We were only there about 3 hours, which felt very short considering how beautiful it is. I understand that the journey from Punta Cana is long, as it involves a road trip and then a boat ride to finally arrive, but I wish I could extend the time on the island because it really deserves it. Still, the organization was good, the staff very friendly and professional, and the overall experience was very positive. I recommend the tour, but if you have the option, it would be ideal to have more time to fully enjoy the place.

Saône Island is a paradise! Taking the catamaran tour is one of the best ways to enjoy it, because not only are you going to be able to see incredible landscapes, but you can also enjoy the relaxed and festive atmosphere on board. The turquoise sea, crystal clear waters and white sand beaches are simply spectacular.

My experience on the island was just amazing. The place is a real paradise, with beautiful landscapes, crystal clear waters and a tranquility that surrounds you since you arrive. But what really made the difference was the staff: friendly, attentive and always willing to help you with a smile. The service was impeccable throughout. Definitely a place I want to go back to!
