From Punta Cana: Saona Island & Altos De Chavon Day Trip With Lunch And Open Bar

It was the best excursion ever juan the conductor was very careful and Alex the best guide ever he cares about all of us he explain to us every detail of the country and the history of each place it was just perfect, we took photos we enjoy the best beach ever

Experience was absolutely amazing, fantastic crew and guide and food was also great! The only issue we had was with the pickup location as the one on the get your guide app wasn’t correct, but the organisers responded quickly to our messages on WhatsApp and managed to pick us up from where we were! Absolutely recommended, best experience we had in Dominican Republic (and probably ever)

We had such a lovely time. Altos De Chavon is breathtakingly beautiful. And the boat ride to Saona Island was so beautiful. Great time at the natural pool. And the food on the Island was good as well as the entertainment.

The experience was amazing! Admission fee was fare and the food was so good. I think the length of the trip was the perfect amount of time and the stop at the swimming area before going to Saona island was beautiful!

Alex and Mick were great 👍🏻 only down side was communication about being picked up didn't find out until 8pm night before even though they were contacted several times.

The initial communication was great. I confirmed the day prior and was told my pick up time would be 6:50am. I didn’t get picked up until nearly 8 am. The city we toured first was cute, but I wouldn’t do it again. The island was absolutely gorgeous and the party boat back was fun! The island saved the rating.

Great tour, Guide Alex and driver Juan were really good, despite all the logistics. We were a large group, a full bus, and it took a lot of time to collect everyone. Boat rides take a very long time too, we had 45 minutes to play in the water and 3 hours in Saona Island, including lunch (nothing special). The best part of the tour were the two photographers that come along in the boat and took awesome pictures with DSLR for a fee. It was a very enjoyable day, with fun people and workers trying to make their best. The Island is wonderfully beautiful. I recommend.

Its so good I enjoyed a lot. i have traveller with Alex and its been fun. They have picked up from and dropped near hotel and overall experience is really awesome.

The experienced match my expectations, however, I would have liked to have been given notice on the duration of the excursion. Outside of that one was a fantastic driver and Alex was wonderful at keeping the entire group of almost 50 people together. Thank you for the experience.!

The guide Alex is really friendly, the trip was amazing and the food also! The two different types of the boat were perfect. The first one is more action and the second a chill atmosphere.

I didn’t find Sanoa island to be great of a place as described. Coral reef like and not as beautiful of a beach as described. The whole lunch thing is alright, but what a cluster f*** to get beach chairs unless your the first tour. El Chavon Mediterranean town was amazing and beautiful in every way and was not packed for end of September, which was a delight! Otherwise, everything else from our tour guides was great!

Our guide Alex was the best. He gave us a history of DR on the way to the island. Food and drink galore. Taking the catamaran home was a party in of itself. And Mickey (?) was a great driver.

Amazing experience will be back with the whole family in December will add friends and co workers as well. Good and experience tour guide and bus driver

Alex and Mickey were excellent! Highly recommend this excursion! They did a great job at getting the team back together and also informative on local history. Some recommendations to be aware of: Go to the restroom before the first shuttle picks you up! There is a bathroom break but if you are coming from Punta Cana you are going a considerable distance before they stop for a bathroom, snack, and souvenir break. Bring a hat/ sunscreen, beach towel and water socks. Also bring a snorkel/ googles. You will see starfish and all kinds of sea animals! The food on the island was delicious! I’d definitely re-book again!

Alex was an excellent guide! I had a lot of fun. We got to Sanoa and the trip to the island was an adventure. We had a good time in the banks of sand. We got to Sanoa and the food was not the greatest

Victor did a very poor service in not properly describing all of the transactions. We had a van to a bus to a bot, changed boats, did the same on the way back. Ridiculous amount of travel time to get to the island. Island food was marginal at best and wasn’t relaxing when constant peddlers trying to sell you something or provide a service. I wouldn’t recommend this activity.

Alex and mick were the best! They work very hard to make everything looks good for all of us. We had a great time at Saona island with them.

Our tour guide Alex was very professional and caring. He made sure our whole group moved along together, had fun, and was safe. He was very educated on Dominican Republic’s history, which was very interesting to hear about. We were picked up at the very front entrance, picked up others along the way, arrived to the docks, took a speedboat to the natural swimming pool, from there we went to Saona Island, had food, enjoyed the clear turquoise waters, left on a boat, enjoyed some dancing and drinks, and finally it was time to go back.

Alex the tour guide was great, and the views were spectacular. Everything was as promised but the many transfers from different boats to boats and van to bus was excessive and the process was clunky. You spend much of the day just on transportation. Other than that it was a great experience.

Alex and micky were a good team food and drink kept flowing all day and Alex kept the mood up. Alex explains some history and the plan. Keep up the good work guus

Alex, the tour guide, was awesome. Took time to tell us about the DR while on the road from Punta Cana to the port where we got on the boats. He made sure we were comfortable along the way, had the boats, food, drinks, pictures and perfect spots at the beach ready for everyone on the tour. As a bonus, he’s bilingual. Great experience! Highly recommended.

This is a must if you're in Punta Cana! The best part of our vacation! Alex and Juan were are guides and are professional and funny. I can't say enough good thing about Alex! He is the best!!! I read in the reviews that people complaint about the fact that you need to take a few hr boat ride.yo the island and which only leaves you with 2 hrs at the island. The boast ride was the best part!!!! Ssssssoooooo fun! The island is small and 2 hrs is more than plenty. Highly recommend this excursion and highly recommend Juan and Alex!

It was amazing from start to finish! We got picked up outside the resort by mickey! He was a legend! We got on a bus then went to pick other people at other resorts. Alex the tour guide was AMAZING! STRONGLY RECOMMEND! he have us history of DR and was with us the whole day. Always smiling and happy. We went to SAONA ISLAND which is paradise. It's a must guys honestly it was so great to experience

Alex and the driver are total professions. Really appreciate his knowledge of the Republic's history. I walk with a cane and he took Extra Care to make sure I was okay. I didn't even have to ask. I really felt safe with him as my guide.

I went to visit Soana island with our tour guides Alex and mickey. Me and my friend had the best time especially on the boat we drank and danced and had the time of our lives!! Any one thinking to try this don’t think just book 10000% recommend thank you Alex for the best time!!
