They simply didn't show up! We contested the charge on our credit card They also forgot our city tour in Puerto Plata and the guy didn't even speak any English! DO NOT USE THIS DIAMOND TRANSFER COMPANY, its a FRAUD!!!
Do not book they scammed us and took our money and left us stranded. Do not I repeat do not book with them.
⭐️⭐️ Diamond Tours – Very disappointing experience We booked transportation with Diamond Tours for our trip to the Dominican Republic, and unfortunately, we had two separate issues with transportation. The first happened a few days ago with our airport pickup. We had prepaid for the service, but when we arrived, the driver told us he couldn’t get in touch with the office and didn’t know where our car was. We were basically left trying to figure out our own transportation. At one point, our luggage was put into a random person’s car and we were told they would charge us $40. We had no idea who this person was and obviously weren’t comfortable getting into a stranger’s car. We ended up having to pay for an Uber ourselves. Unfortunately, things got even worse today. We had another confirmed transportation booking to Santo Domingo for 7:30 a.m. ($185), and Diamond Tours never picked us up. When we tried to get the situation resolved, we were told we could get a private vehicle, but only if we paid an additional $200 in cash, which was later reduced to $150. After having two separate transportation issues in the same trip, we no longer felt comfortable trusting the company with our transportation. We contacted them about a refund, but they initially told us they would only refund 50% because there was still another drop-off service remaining. I understand that things can go wrong, but two transportation failures on the same trip is unacceptable, especially when we prepaid for both services. The communication and lack of organization were extremely frustrating, and we were left having to figure out transportation ourselves. We are currently working with the company to request a full refund. I would strongly recommend having a backup transportation plan if you book with Diamond Tours.
Writing a bad review here after exhausting all reasonable options to find a resolution with this company. A simple from-to-airport transfer arrangement can't even be handled professionally by Diamond Tours. It all starts well when booking through their website, with proper communication and additional tour offerings. Once you are looking for them at the airport, you notice they are improvised (they had shared a picture of a non-existing stand with instructions to locate them); they also wanted cash on the spot. Prior to arriving, we agreed to book a tour to Santo Domingo with a "bundle discount." They didn't pick us up and were non-responsive for a good two hours that morning. We are still not reimbursed since April 2026. WhatsApp, email, and Zelle profile to request reimbursement are unavailable due to 'security concerns.' We found out they are in Colombia and not in the Dominican Republic. They are professional scammers with a repertoire of excuses, and they didn't care that we were traveling as a family (toddler, pregnant wife). They will sure ruin your vacation! If any, excuses in response to this review, including 'direct messaging requests', are worthless, as I am still owed $270 USD.
Our experience was not good. We arrived in Punta Cana and our driver did not pick us up. They said they were waiting for us from 12:45. We landed at 1:30. When we contacted the office, they blamed us for not being on time. I had to find alternate transportation to the hotel for 7 people and pay cash. (They did not refund any money) They did send a nice driver to our hotel for the return to the airport who was on-time.
This company is the worst transfer/tour operator I have ever had to deal with. If you do not want to have your vacation ruined and get hurt, please do yourself a favor and do not use the services of this irresponsible and inefficient company. Besides the transfer from the airport to my hotel, I booked the Isla Saona tour after insistence of the agent who took my airport transfer reservation. First of all, it seems that this company uses multiple individuals/contractors to provide the services they offer, very inexperienced people that own their own old boats and facilities. The driver dropped us off in Bayahibe and it took a while to find out which person among many, many others, had our reservation. After finding the person, we had to be chasing him around just not be left behind. The experience on the boat was fair. But at the moment of disembarkation at Isla Saona, the person holding the boat to keep it steady got distracted and the boat receded into the water making me fall off the boat and hurt my right foot and also getting a gash in my back. I had to be carried to the shore because couldn’t walk using my right foot. My back was also bleeding. All day long I waited for someone to administer first aid to my foot and the gash on my back, I was promised to have paramedics to see me once we were back in Bayahibe. Once we arrived, no paramedics and no one wanted to take responsibility for my situation. I contacted the person that made my reservation and he had one of the operations managers contact me. This person made the bus driver take me to a clinic in downtown Punta Cana where my insurance was not accepted and ended up paying US$225.00 for the X-Rays and to clean, disinfect and cover the gash in my back. Since I paid a total of US$220.00 for the tour, I requested to receive credit thinking that it was going to be easier to request a refund for the clinic expenses, just to make it easier on both sides. But since there was no response to that request, I submitted the invoices for the clinic and the prescriptions to the email provided by the operations manager: finance@daimondtoursrd.com. I also sent copies of the invoices to their main in office located in 8201 Peters Rd, 1000 #3, Plantation Fl 33324. All this happened on Friday, May 15, 2026, and to this date, July 6, 2026, I have not received any email, phone call or letter regarding the request for reimbursement/refund. We are still working on pursuing this request using other means.
Upon arrival, we walked out and saw the representative with our name on a board. They said our “luxury car” would be there soon. After several calls and about 45 minutes later, they walked us out to the street to be picked up. Vehicle was dirty. There were 5 of us. My son called the office the next day and we were assured that our return to the airport would be excellent. Once again they were 30 minutes late and the van was a piece of junk. Only positive thing was that driver was personable.
This company is the worst company for transfer to hotel. Their website is a total fake. Their vehicles are rundown and to get a refund if you pay by Zelle, it’s impossible. I will never use them again. I had other people came on the trip different days. They all had trouble with them. Try to call the office in Colombia can’t get through even on the excursions. They’renot allowed to go on the premises. They don’t have permission stay away from these people bad news even the people in the airport says they’re the worst. Hope this can help.Thank you.
These people are scamming left and right it seems like a criminal organization. I prepaid the transfer to the air port from Punta Cana one week in advance. At the day of the departure the driver didn't show up at hotel and there no warning from travel agency. We I sent a message to the travel agent and the answer was "our driver just called us his vehicle is stranded he was already on the way. We kindly tell you to take a taxi that we will issue your full refund inmediately to finance department" They promised a refund but refund was not issued. We were late to the airport.
They didn't show up for the pickup, we got info from their representative on airport he doesn't know when the ride will show up. We took a taxi cab and now the playing monkey game that they successfully get us to hotel.
They were an hour late picking us up at the airport with no representative to meet us. Then we got charged $30 US dollars for a stop to get some groceries. Then for our trip back home they didn’t show up at all forcing us to take an Uber. If I hadn’t called Diamond we wouldn’t have know they weren’t coming 15 min after our pickup time.All for $112.00 Canadian which we have been waiting for a refund since March 31st

I booked a private transfer from the airport to our Airbnb with Diamond Transfers. Straight after booking, the company messaged me constantly trying to book tours. Once we arrived at the airport, the driver did not show up. The company could also not get a hold of the driver for close to an hour so eventually we just took another vehicle and were told we would be refunded. After numerous times contacting the company, the refund has still not been issued and they keep telling me there are “processing issues” that are delaying issuing the refund. It has been over a month and still no refund and no expected date to receive the refund. This was a massive inconvenience to arrive after a red eye flight to no transfer, and a scam that they are unable to refund even over a month later.
Do not waist you money with this company look at the google reviews. 50% of the time they don't show up and they don't refund you. Then magically another driver shows up but you have to pay them for the ride you have already booked and paid with Diamond, this is a scam!!! RUN
So I booked diamond tours to pick us up at PUJ airport and drive us to La Ramana Hilton Garden Inn. Keep in mind I booked and paid for this all back in June and our trip was in January. I also paid for a thing they had on where you can get two beers and two bottles of water for so much money I ordered two of those for the ride there. Our flight was delayed by about 45 minutes but they had our flight number so I didn’t think it would be a problem. We walked outside. It took a while to find them even though they assured us it would be simple and then we sat there for well over an hour waiting for somebody to pick us up and drive us to our hotel. I was told when I booked that we would just walk out the door and walk straight and they’re right there holding up signs with our name on it lol! That didn’t happen! We talked to someone named Dylan whole time. He’s a very nice guy he told us he’s new. He just started there. He didn’t speak any Spanish. Just English. Which is fine with us because we only spoke English too. We finally got in and it wasn’t the nice vans that they showed in the picture. This van looked pretty beat up and old. We’re driving and I’m just wondering where the water and beer was because they made it sound like we could drink water and beer down to the hotel on our ride. We did not get any of that! Nor did we get a refund for it and we were told we could not drink a beer on the trip it’s against the law, which is fine, but they made it very misleading and made it sound like you could do all that.So we also prepaid for a ride from the cruise terminal since we were going on a cruise and back to PUJ airport afterwards which is a little over an hour drive I was told. They told us if I paid extra for the gate fee. They could pick us up right outside the door. If not, I had to walk out of the terminal area and they would meet us there. I paid the extra because I didn’t want to lug all that luggage outside the terminal gates, and I wasn’t really sure where to go. There’s four of us in total and two of us had wheelchairs because I severely sprained my ankle and my mom has breathing issues and heart issues and can’t walk very far. We had pre-arranged a time for 10 AM and we were on time we walked outside and they were nowhere to be found the person pushing my wheelchair went for a walk and tried to find them and they were nowhere to be found. I had did not have any Wi-Fi and if I made a call or turned on my data I would have been charged a lot of money so I didn’t really want to do that. The guy pushing my wheelchair let me link up to his phone and call Diamond tours up and he said that we had to walk outside the gates because unless we paid them to come to the door they’re not doing that. I told them that I did pay for that and they said that’s impossible! It doesn’t go through them because we have to go and send the money separate and something. He just kept rambling on about how it high to pay for them to come inside. I have the receipt showing that I did pay for it. But he didn’t want to listen to anything I said, and he just hung up. The driver ended up coming over and talking with me and said that I had to pay for the entrance fee if you wanted him to come over and pick us up at the door. I told him I did pay for the entrance fee and he didn’t want to listen to me either. He just walked away, so I’m sitting there with two of us in wheelchairs and a bunch of luggage, not knowing what to do or where it’s even find this guy. Even the guy pushing my wheelchair talk to him in Spanish, asking where he was and saying that I paid for it so he said I said well whatever I guess we have to go outside the gate with all this stuff so we walk outside the gate and he’s still not there after I called him and said don’t leave wait for us we’re coming. We sat there for half an hour and then nobody showed up. We called them back again and we’re told to send pictures of where we were sitting we did that and still nobody showed up after another 15 minutes. And then we were told we had to walk through this gravel. Parking lot way in the back to go meet with this guy so we had to leave the wheelchairs there and walk and push all of our luggage on this cart which couldn’t really push through gravel. The cart ended up tipping over my luggage landed on the ground, which broke a wheel off of one of my luggage. Then we finally find the guy this was about 45 minutes to an hour later! By then I’m fuming! Because if you know me, I’m a very organized person and I’m on time or early and I think things through to make our trips easier. I pre-booked things and pay for them in advance and I did not get what I paid for both trips! We must have called diamond tours seven times trying to find him and explain that we already paid for this and we were just dismissed like we were nothing! I would never ever ever book with this company. Find someone else we almost had to pay a taxi to drive us to the airport because we would’ve missed our flight. Not only do we pay extra for beer water and for them to drive inside the gates and we did not get any of that. I had to tip a lot of money to three porters to get us to find these guys and push us around and luggage around also a piece of my luggage got damaged. The wheel got torn off one of them so there’s also that that cost me money.

Booking is simple and easy, the drivers communicate very well where your pick up and drop off is and it was all done in a timely manner without the worry if they would show up or not. Very professional and safe. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a company to pick me up from airport to take us to our resort. I was afraid of scams or a creepy driver, as I was originally traveling without my husband. Diamond Transfer & Tour made booking SUPER EASY! The price was affordable and the drivers were friendly and prompt. When I arrived at the airport, my name was on their board, and we waited for the driver for less than a half hour (I wasn't in a rush). But when it came to taking us back to airport to catch our flight, the drivers were punctual! I booked pick up with Diamond for my other family members at the resort who had other flights as well! I would use them again for my next D.R. trip!

Used diamond for airport transfers. Had private SUV (looked and smelled new) and was quiet and comfortable. You fill out a form online and they will WhatsApp you the information. Quick and easy. We would use again.

Diamond tours was very helpful and got us to our place of lodging. We took a private transfer from the airport to our resort. The scheduler Santiago was quite responsive. The drivers, St. Louis and Starling were very good drivers. St Louis was very considerate and cautious. Starling was very smooth and pointed out things to see along the way. I will ask for him next time. The vans were very clean and comfortable.
Starling Canario picked us up at our resort early and was extremely helpful with our luggage. Very professional and friendly!
I read so many great reviews about this company and I decided to book a round trip transportation. Was so disappointed with services. I was picked up at airport an hour later after my arrival after so many messages back and forward by chat and same thing happened for my return back to the airport. I don't recommend.
Booked a vip service ( allegedly) when I arrived to the airport no one knew was going on, they had me waiting for 40 minutes walking back and forth. They had this lady that didn’t know what she was doing and kept calling I guess someone from diamond. When the car arrived it was this old suburban smelling like bad, I paid for an extra car up to 10 guests and what i got it was an small kia, we have to walk like 2 miles to get our car, but it’s was awful service.
We had the chance to use it from airport to the hotel and vice versa. Excellent service and right on time every time we had the chance to use it, I recommend it 100% at Punta Cana
I first learned about Diamond Transfers and Tours while watching 3 days and 3 noches on youtube and decided to try them. We booked a round trip private transfer from and to PUJ airport - Dreams Hotel. We also booked a private city tour of sto.domingo with them on the same trip. All I can say is that I highly recommend Diamond Tours for all your airport-hotel transfers and any tours you would like to do while in Punta Cana. We were greeted at the airport by Donald and he helped us with our luggages and also assisted us with the tour. German drove us to the hotel and he was very nice and very lively. We felt very welcomed. Tony drove us from the hotel and around sto.domingo. He was very nice and respectable and very considerate. (Hey Tony send us our group pic ☺️). Thank you so much Diamond Tours ( Donald, German, Tony , and Jose) for making our trip memorable. We will definitely be booking with Diamond Transfer and Tours again.
Diamond Tours did a great job with our round-trip transportation from the airport to the hotel! The drivers both to the hotel and back to the airport were very courteous and punctual. It was helpful to have the signage at the airport to show us where to go. Additionally, the communication (via What’s App) before arriving let us know exactly where to proceed after we debarked our plane. If I return to the DR, I will definitely use diamond again. Job well done!

Please do not use this company...I paid this company in advance for our group...the day we were headed back to the hotel..we paid for a 29 passenger...they showed up with a 22 passenger and told us to take a cab for the other people..yet I paid for their largest vehicle....I also paid them to escort us to the hotel upon arrival...we waited over 45 minutes for a ride

I bought the one way special from Punta Cana airport to my hotel. The young lady Miyoo was questioning my purchase even after i showed her my receipts and barcode. Its a good thing i had taken a picture of the advertised promotion. They ended up piling us up in a small SUV (family of 4, 2 adults, 2 children plus driver). Would not use them again.
Diamond Tours was punctual and more importantly communicated very well (via WhatsApp) the day before and the day of my reservation to make sure everything was in order. Will definitely use their services again!
I had a great experience with this transport service during my trip to Punta Cana! From the airport to my hotel and back, everything was smooth and professional. The drivers were punctual, courteous, and made us feel very comfortable. A special shoutout to our return driver, Tony—he arrived 15 minutes early and went above and beyond to avoid traffic and get us to the airport on time. His effort and professionalism were truly appreciated. I highly recommend this service and will definitely use them again on my next trip!
Had used different car services to hotel and back to PUJ over the years and this is the first time with Diamond! Most impressed as it’s easy to find, good service from Jose in the main office who was super flexible and responsive and the driver, Tony, that picked us from the hotel cam right on time for pick up in a nice clean and excellent condition comfortable SUV!

This was a horrible experience from start to finish. I booked this for my wife and they had me pay with Zelle for a 5% discount. (My first mistake) I ordered pick up with a sign. When she arrived no one was there so I texted them and they said that they were in the wrong terminal. Then their story changed and said my wife saw them and walked past. Why would my wife walk past the car service she is expecting to be picked up by? They attempted to put the blame on me. I was frustrated and they said they will send a “premium” van for her return trip to the airport. 2 days later they are not outside the hotel at 7am which was the agreed upon time. Once again I reached out and they said they are there. You can’t communicate directly with the drivers and the drivers lie to cover themselves when they don’t actually show up. I was extremely frustrated as a trip to the airport isn’t something you can just hope shows up. I contacted them after and told them I’d like a refund since they attempted to put the blame on me twice and failed to provide either transfer in a remotely acceptable way. They then proceeded to give me the run around saying accounting will reach out to me to process the refund, etc but it takes 7 business days. (It’s a Zelle transfer - there’s no 7 day process). Long story short they just stop responding and because I paid with Zelle I have no recourse to dispute the charge. They are running a scam and everyone should be aware of this. If they’re not a fraudulent company outright, they are wildly unprofessional and unreliable. Lastly, the reason I went with this service was to ensure a safe experience. My wife was entirely safe in an uber both ways and it was more affordable, professional, and comfortable. Avoid this company at all costs.
