The tour and buggy ride was nice, however I fell into a hole and the wheel got busted. I switched to another buggy to continue the tour. The tour guide keep pressuring me to give him some money to help fix the wheel at the cenote. We didn't even get to enjoy that experience because of this. After we returned to their business, the manager also tried to get me to pay some money. She brought out the waiver I signed and said that I was responsible and I signed the form. Thinking I was dumb, I read the waiver and there was nothing in it that said I was responsible for any damages due to accidents while riding, only waiver by right to hold them responsible if I got injured. After they realized I right and wasn't going to pay they pulled my wife aside to see if they can convince her, but she also held out and said they need to talk to me. I just wanted to get out of there and go back to my resort, it was becoming very uncomfortable especially since I had my kids with us. I would never do another excursion with them again. The next day on another excursion the guide who say the commotion at the cenote when he was trying to get money from me, told us he saw what was happening and knew that was wrong to hustle the customer for money and apparently they are known for that, has happened before to other customers.

Giving this a 4 out of 5, just because they do not give you a specific timing on the app it says 11 am but no one reaches out to you to tell you at exactly what time is pick up. When I called at ten they told me pick up is either 8:15 am or 1:15 pm so I had to wait longer. When we arrived to where the boogies were there's a store there and the guy literally PRESSURES you to buy something. OTHER THAN THAT the driving was fun and the beach that they take you too is beautiful. I honestly expected more from the cave based on the photos but it wasn't as I expected.
Not overly impressed with this tour. First bad communication from Viator on pick up time and place. Confirmation says one time and place but then they say the call u and can't get intouch with you. Well of course not not mant people use there phone internationally and if they email u only have access to wifi on resort. Once we got this settle and finally pick up we went to the buggy place. Got in the buggies that were so slow. It was not a fun fadt drive it was a slow drive with constant stops waiting on other buggies to pass because there are way too many on the trails or waiting fir them to fix the constantly breaking down buggies. If it didn't rain the night regime it would have been a slow drive a mostly firt path. I've done the buggies before and this was a huge let down compared to that one.
Didn’t start on time and we felt rushed throughout every stop that we made. We needed more time to enjoy each stop.
Excellent tour, I want to do it again even if it's not in Punta Cana again, but I really liked it. Thank you all for making it a spectacular day.
Very unorganized. My tour started at 11 but the driver ended up writing me and asking could I get picked up at 1:25 instead. I said okay. He picked us up on time but made 80 other stops giving real sketchy vibes. We didn't make it to the excursion until 3pm by then I was irritated. When he came to pick us up, way more people were on the bus and once again he made 80 more stops and then put us on a different bus with no prior communication
Great fun, messy. Bring a bin bag for your items to stay dry and clean. Family all enjoyed-awesome fun
Well first thing they take you on a truck to the beach, no driving your buggy. Then is just like 15-20 driving to a place to sell coffee and chocolate go back through the same way go to the cave for 10-15 minutes. And the guides are rude people, (I was taking of the helmet and the guide told me “2 hours to take off a helmet” Only good thing of this tour was the truck driver.
Great Boogie Ride. Quick 15 minutes stop at the beach & 15 minutes stop at the Cenote. Quiet refreshing & gorgeous views. Highly recommend!
Must book!!!! From the transportation to the buggy facility everything was great! The photographs were amazing and the stops they take you to are the real DR. I would 1000% book again.
While there was a slight miscommunication on the pick up location/time, the rest of the trip was flawless. The employees were courteous and friendly. They made sure we all stayed together and went at a realistic pace. The route taken was fun to try out different terrain. Fun, organized adventure!
I had a wonderful adventure and the tour guides took great care of you. It was last minute planning so I really appreciate Yery for coming through and acvomodating me. The adventure was very much worth it. If I return again I'll definitely visit.
Everything was well organized and taken care of. A lot of fun and full safety. The transportation was provided back and forth and in timely manner. Thank you
Wonderful! Great staff and lots to look at! Definitely recommend! Got dirty but that’s the point and lots of exhilarating experience
Great adventure, the tour is really good. The main guide, Anton, was excellent! He provided all the necessary information about the tour and ensured the safety of everyone
I was fascinated by the tour; it was much better than we expected. Macao Beach was clean, and the cave was very beautiful. If you are on vacation in Punta Cana, I recommend this tour
We were a group of 14 people, and we all had a fantastic day. José was not just our guide; he became a great friend to the entire family. This tour was perfect for us as we had a short stay in Punta Cana and didn't want to spend too much time away from the hotel.
Awesome experience, 10 stars!!! All the family have a great experience. I recommend this tour 100% From Puerto Rico...
The overall experience was spectacular. The guides were very attentive, especially the main guide called el ruso, and the driver named Angelo also treated us very well. He picked us up from the Riu República hotel to take us to the buggies. During the tour, we made three stops. The first was at Macao Beach, the second was at the typical house, and lastly, we stopped at the cenote. I highly recommend this tour and give it a 10/10.
Honestly, I didn't imagine having so much fun on this buggy ride. At first, I didn't want to do it because it was raining heavily. I contacted Yery Constanzo to change the day, and he told me it was much more fun to do this tour when it's raining because there's more mud than usual. He was right because we had a blast. Thanks, Yery!
After coming with a group of 12 ppl they doubled the price being greasy and it went from $45 to $90 per person SCAM
The buggy ride was a lot of fun. We took a tour along a route that led us to Macao Beach and the cenote. We were also taken to a place where they showed us the production of some local products
The adventure was phenomenal. The beach was clean and the water very pleasant with some waves. Ruso, the guide, and the rest of the guides were excellent in their work. The buggies were in excellent condition. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Thank you so much, Ruso
This has been the best of all tourist activities. The Dominican Republic has wonderful people who always welcome you with a smile. My husband and I had an incredible day on this ATV excursion. I hope to return to the DR soon
The crew was amazing , sites were one of a kind and made for nice afternoon tour . Highly recommend!
Tour was fun. If you want ATV be sure to select that tour. Bring a towel, goggles, and hair and face covering you will get very dirty with mud and it may splash in your eyes. Many people at the cave and beach to sell you things.
Yeri was absolutely very helpful, even though i booked my tour last minute he made effort to come and pick me up, the tour was so much fun and they were all super friendly! Totally recommend it!!
We had so much fun! The location was easy to find and communication with the staff was excellent. The buggy was so much fun and we rode for a very long time!l, longer then expected. Staff was super helpful and attentive to everyone and made sure we stayed in our group. No buggies broke down during are tour but you have to remember, these are atvs! They are ridden in dirt and mud so that is expected and not uncommon! Beach and cenote were beautiful. Coffee tour was very interesting, bring cash or pesos because you will want to purchase something! Coffee guide was also hilarious. Overall a great experience and I'm so glad we did this!
The part where we visit the beach was horrible. The local people harrassment to take pictures with monkey and birds. Also they don't tell price for food, they charge friends $225.00 for 4 orders of chicken wings and 4 drinks. Wouldn't recommend tour to anyone.
This experience was amazing. Thank you to the employees for taking good care of us. So respectfully and safety is there number one priority.
This was the most ghetto tour I have ever done, I feel so bad bc the good intention from the company is there but the locals have kids from 3yrs to like 12 harassing you for a handout, my mom was eating an empanada & a 9/10yr old girl got next to her and asked my mom for the empanada as my mom was biting into it, my mom asked if she was hungry & gave it to her, when another little girl seen what she had done they both started laughing really loud as if they were taking advantage of my mom, not to mention when we bought the empanada for $1.50 we paid with a $20 bill & the lady returned back $7 & stated she didn’t have changed & begged for the money. It’s a lot of driving, it’s was okay a lot, a lot of pot wholes when your done your done literally, the coffee & chocolate introduction was ghetto as hell but these people are super poor & the name sounds bigger than the excursion itself, the cave at the end you had too many locals on top of you harassing you asking for a handout & they will beg for help for anything you can give them even the glasses you rent to ride the buggies, so no I would not do it again.
It was birthday! It was extremely hot and wished there was a cover over the top of the buggy, but I enjoyed my time. You really get enough time to ride the buggies. I loved Macao beach. Wish I could have stayed longer. It was actually more impressive than Soana Island. The cave was cool, but I don’t swim. Overall, a great experience!
This was an adventurous excursion. Be ready to get dirty and have lots of fun. The last stop at the Cenote was a refreshing ending. Great job to this company for offering this your package!
Few little hiccups but overall good time and great friendly staff. They made sure we had a good time. Didn’t see the beach but the cave was cool
Excellent communication re pick up times and place, even sent a photo so you knew exactly where to be. Picked up on time and it was an amazing trip! Highly recommend 😃
We had lot of fun with kids. Buggy ride was muddy and super fun. We chose early morning 8 AM pickup at the hotel. That was the best decision that we took. Operator was sharp on time on communicated time. We were first few people at the beautiful Macao Beach and historical Cave. Coconut on the beach was the best. It is extremely muddy few places , wear cloths you don't mind getting dirty :-). After ride they do provide shower to clean ourself. We bought their pictures , they did amazing job with pictures, remembering our memories with kids for life time. Very good communication and thanks for such an amazing experience.
Great experience! Fun, and adventurous. Really got to see and experience a lot of different things. Safe and professional also!
We had a lot of fun. They took care of us and always safe. This was a unique experience and an opportunity to support Dominican business
Good organization from when they pick you up at the hotel to take you to the ranch where the Buggy Boogies are, the price is very affordable for the experience they offer. I recommend it
Wonderful tour that was everything that was promised. The stops at the tourist destinations are a bit rushed and the non-tour photographers will try to run your money ($50 for photos with animals) but it’s an overall fun time. BRING SUNGLASSES AND A BANDANA, the wet mud is so thick and it will get stuck in a face mask, the cloth of a bandana helps you keep breathing. Do not wear anything fancy or that you wouldn’t mind getting muddy.
Excellent services,we had a better time than we could have imagined, I will recommend this trip to all my friends and family going to Punta Cana on vacation.
A spectacular adventure, the service was excellent and the stops we made on the tour were spectacular. During the tour we stopped at a place that I do not remember the name but there they gave us to taste chocolate and it was the best I have ever tasted in my life, we also stopped at Macao beach and the cave, for us it was more fun the cave because that day it was raining and we would have liked to be on the beach in Macao with the sun shining
Driving buggy is fun. However, this tour is poorly managed. The group is too large. I feel like we are always in a rush. Along the way, we saw many buggy broke down by the road, leaving rider waiting for help. If I were the owner, I would set group size to 10. So, everyone would have a great experience.
We were so excited for this tour, but it quickly turned into something we wish we had not booked and couldn’t wait to get back to our hotel. First, the transportation was 40 minutes late… with little communication until I finally added an international plan on my phone to be able to call and figure out if we should continue to wait or not. They said our bus was on our way, and open ended truck showed up. Which was fine, I certainly wouldn’t call that a bus tho. The company was fun run boogie. Do not book with them, along the way we saw so many other companies to go through that looked much better. Then, we arrive with little to no direction from the team to the ranch. Almost everyone in our group had their buggies break down, the ride was very slow riding in a single file line. There was no excitement. It was pretty boring, not at all what the photo seems. Our buggy lost the breaks at one point, we were crossing over Main roads and our breaks just went out causing us to smash into the back of another buggy. Very dangerous. The tour guide gave no direction as we made our stops and just said go over there, and the group had to figure out where the beach was and where the cave was. Most guides give intonation or history before you start. All he said was if you can’t swim don’t get it. When we got to the cave is when the trio was completely ruined for our group. Our friends buggy wouldn’t work, they were left behind getting attacked by the locals until our instructor noticed they weren’t behind. When they got to where we were at the cave the insteuctor came up in a disturbingly rude tone and said what did you do, very angry. He mechanic guy said they ruined their buggy by pushing on the gas when they weren’t supposed to? He was very augmentative at first then realized he upset our friend and tried to correct his demeanor. The instructor did not read the group as we were all waiting in our buggy’s for about 20 minutes waiting for him to take us back to the ranch to go home. He was hanging with his friends. We would just want to recommend another tour to take and not this one as we passed by so many ranches and buggy’s that looked so much nicer and hardly anyone else was constantly broken down like our group was. I’m very sad to be writing this review as this was supposed to be a fun day we were really excited for but I def would not be recommending this tour group to anyone.
The experience was great, I was with my daughters and everything was great, without a doubt I will live this beautiful experience again with my family
I had an amazing time with the boys in the buggy ride. The cave was also a nice experience water was super clear.
The buggies kept breaking down. Transportation was sketchy. We were rushed at cave and beach even though we were behind due to buggies breaking down.
The best Buggy excursion that I have ever had. The crew was super good and fun. They were very helpful. The excursion was of sufficient time. I recommend bringing glasses, mask and wet weather clothes
They did not answer my requests for information for more than 24 hours. They did not come to pick us up; we were waiting from ten minutes before. They did not accept a refund or a change to another day. When I had already hired others and had forced the refund through my bank, they got back in touch offering a change.
Running in a buggy was very fascinating, we walked through muddy canines until we reached Macau beach, ending in a cenote
