Julio the bellmen was so great. He was very attentive to all of our needs. He went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. It was great to see such a friendly face at both arrival and departure! We greatly appreciate his amazing service and will definitely return because of him!!!
I feel this resort is ok. Nothing memorable. Why pay a big price when you can book next door(Dreams Onyx) for less money and use all the facilities and restaurants at Breathless.
Resort refuses to clean Sargussum of beach… and it’s really bad! (General manager will tell you they clean it everyday, but we have a beachfront room and can guarantee that is a lie!). If you want to swim in a pool, come here. But there are likely nicer pools down the road from where you live!
I gave this a 4.5 star review based on the ease of travel. If the van was in better shape I would have given 5 stars. We got off the plane walked out and immediately saw our name and they were ready to take us to our resort. It could not have been easier. We also had the same experience on our return trip to the airport. We even called to move our pick up time up an hour and had no issues. Easy to work with and reliable!!!
The best all around: relax in Exhale, relive the 80’s, and more. There is variety of dinning experience's. No complaints. 100% the best resort. Yimmy John the absolute best Butler. Come enjoy!
Was amazing, private van shuttle just as advertised. Air conditioning was on and ready for when we got into the van. Everything went smoothly and my wife and I were very happy. Clean vehicle, ac worked, driver was friendly, couldn’t ask for much more.

This resort is beautiful and the bed in our room was very comfortable. We enjoyed most of our stay on the beach but the food wasn't great and most the bartenders and some of the wait staff were rude. On our last night we came down with some terrible tummy issues that are still lingering 5 days later. The freestyle swim up bar smelled like hot garbage, we nicknamed it the trash bar. Most of their scheduled entertainment was just a big mtv party with our only enjoyable evening being a Queen tribute band. This visit left us not wanting to visit the DR again, unfortunately .

They were well organized and my pickup and return were excellent!!!! I had no issues and everything went how it was planned and discussed just like the emails and text messages.
Gasoline! The Prince! Sweety! The entertainment team was amazing!!!! Holy cow we had a great time dancing with them. They were amazing! I would recommend going to breathless and taking advantage of the nightlife and all the fun activities that they offer!
Spicy was amazing. His dance moves are out of this world. The pool party was a great experience. They make sure everyone has a great time. It was a great time all in all and we had a lot of fun. Would defo recommend.
Team entertainment here is amazing. They keep it fun and involve you and are awesome! Food is great… Great great vacation with this wonderful 14.
Let me start by saying the grounds are beautiful! Nice pools and beach ! Rooms horrible . Tarnished bathroom fixtures and old looking . We had a garden view and it literally was on the side of a road in dirt . We complained and they didn’t do anything to help us out. The bars were constantly running out of alcohol and wine . Staff ok but not great ! One town station at beach that you had to walk far to get! I wouldn’t recommend! Totally dissatisfied !
I recommend another resort, we did a honeymoon trip and they gave us the wrong room, they diddnt decorate it like we asked. We did dinner on the beach but they cancled it because of the rain. It was no alternative option. The resort is over priced, our tour guide helped us a lot. But that was the only reason. I would get a refund if I could. The Wi-Fi went out for a whole day. You can’t use the water to brush your teeth
Drivers were nice and communicated very well. They were friendly and very respectful taking me to my resort from the airport and returning once my trip was over. I would recommend services to all.
The worst experience with a car service ever! We were confirmed for pick up at 1130 and they never showed up. We called at 1145 and we were told that we needed to contact their third party service to figure out why we weren’t picked up! Horrible customer service and did not care that we were going to the airport for a flight. When a van finally arrived at 1210 they put other passengers in the van even though we paid for a private transfer! When I spoke to the driver they put us in another van. Our flights left at 230 and we got to the airport around 1. The first time I have had such horrible service using viator!
I enjoy the service and the driver was knowledgeable although he didn’t speak English. He was great and we felt secure

I arrived a day late due to airline issues. Upon arrival I called & was picked up from the airport within 10-15 minutes. I appreciate the prompt response & flexibility.
Breathless Punta Cana is a GREAT place to stay!!! The facilities and staff are wonderful and so is the staff. Willy, our VIP host was amazing!! He booked all reservations, appointments and activities and took care of all of our needs while at the resort. We had a great time and I would definitely come back again!!!
We stayed hers last March and opted for a swim up room and the Exhale club. The transfer took about an hour and the check in at the preferred club was faultless. We used the preferred lounge most evenings as the drinks were of a high standard and almost no waiting. We ate in all of the restaurants and out favourite was the steak in Dreams Onyx. Our least favourite which again was on the onyx side was the Mexican. We benefited from being able to have breakfast and lunch in the preferred restaurant and the quality and service was fantastic. The chef making the omelettes was hilarious and always made us smile. The T Bone steak served for lunch was also amazing. We did have butler who was helpful and always checked in with us daily making sure we had everything we needed. The only point I would make is that the swim up rooms although very tranquil were on the chilly side. We did have a great stay here and would definetely go back.
This was not m first trip to a AMR resort, but I was quite disappointed in Breathless, it wasn’t horrible but could of been better. First of all the rooms are quite outdated, the mattress we were given to sleep on almost sunk to the floor , but was replaced the next day, our Tv would not change channels, and our jacuzzi did not work right, it took 3 days of going back and forth with guest services to get it fixed thanks finally to Ivelisse from concierge and Elizabeth, again the tv did not work even after being fixed and I have to thank Adolpho from guest services, he checked in with us everyday to see if it got fixed but the problem lies within numerous TVs not just ours, but Adolpho was so helpful and kind I cannot say enough about him. The grounds were not beautiful but okay, food wasn’t great just ok, many of the staff were not friendly at all which was very upsetting to me seeing as I have stayed at other AMR resorts and they were so friendly, I had a few activity members who never met me ask me for a good review, that was a insult, but I must name some people who were wonderful, Eddie Murphy from activity crew was very friendly and attentive to us, Francisca a pool server went above and beyond for us and is so sweet, Sadie also at the pool was great, Jhon at the beach grill was always smiling and helpful. Diara at the breakfast Buffett was a joy to see every morning with her Happy cheerful greeting , Ventura made me the best omelette and talked to me everyday, and Anderson at the waffle station was wonderful, I also would like to thank Daisy at the Nook cafe for her outstanding service , I always give credit where it’s due, but on a whole, I wasn’t thrilled with Breathless the resort itself nor the beach and a vast majority of the staff was not friendly. I say these comments not to be harsh but hopefully it will help them make it a better place.
Breathless was everything I hoped and dreamed for. The resort was clean, fun and all the workers go out of their way to make your vacation great. Our host Jose was the absolute man. Wishing an hour of checking in he was handling multiple requests and had them all done instantly. He provides a schedule every day of all the activities and answers any questions you have at any time. I would definitely come back.
We had an amazing stay here!! The staff was super attentive and friendly. Everything was very clean. If there was any issue, it was handled immediately as the staff asked us about our stay every morning. The food was fantastic. Yokaira on the beach kept our drinks refilled. At the Nook, Daisy was always happy and did an amazing job. Each morning as we went to breakfast, we were greeted with smiles by Hillary, Kisaida, and Dayesica as they showed us to our seats. See these ladies for great service and sweet personalities. We will definitely return.
The resort was amazing! Daisy at The Nook was so sweet. Hillary, Kisaidi, & Yokaira were amazing waitress! So king and went above and beyond.
Great time wonderful resort. Enjoy bothe Breathless and Dreams Onyx. Ana Castillo tending tables at the wink lounge is the best!!! I can even begin to say how thankful we were for her service and friendship. Made sure our drinks we right and was there to greet me in the AM for my morning coffee with the same smile on her face. Amazing hard working sweet lady.
Willy was our personal concierge for the week and he did a fabulous job. Would definitely recommend this place! Many good options for meals and the hibachi was superb. Nice to be able to jump between the Breathless and the Dreams Onyx resorts to have many other options as well. Would definitely return
Marley was cool and professional. The van was clean and tidy. The ride was smooth, felt like we were in a limo. Book him!
It was all very nice, but the best of all was the attention of Deury, wrote to us daily to see how everything was, was very attentive at all times, and made us feel in the best hotel in Punta Cana, thank you!!! We will come back many more times I recommend it. ❤️
Will have been 4 weeks here and had a great time. Our Consierge Ricardo was always there for us and fulfilled all wishes..day and night.The hotel is very nice and can recommend it.staff and all very friendly us helpful.For people who like to party it is a paradise.You will find enough quiet places.
