Bacardi Island Excursion With Catamaran, Beach And Lunch

Very good experience. Great value and excellent service from the boat crew. We experienced some rain during the trip and he made sure to get us back safely. Love those guys.

We took the tour at our hotel Secrets Playa Esmeralda. We were told the distance was short, that we will stop at a natural lagoon a see fishes , eat lunch and spend time at the beach . The trip was very long, we spent about 4 hours round trip between the bus and boat . The natural lagoon was just a sand bar with no fishes or corals. We arrived at the island , had lunch and had only about 1 1/2 to spend at the beach. It’s not worth the money or the long trip

Miguel and Juan P were amazing. Miguel were very clear and explained everything in English and Spanish. His charasmatic personality made you feel like family from the moment you met. I would highly recommend this trip. Bring cash for tips for the great service you'll receive. There was a photographer on he trip that took pictures throughout the day and then uploaded them on your phone. Be prepared to have to pay for that as well. Everything was well with the extra costs. Supporting locals and having a great time all at the same time.

A definite must if you come to DR. It’s a long drive from DR but our guide Nacho was great. He kept us entertained the whole day he is the best guide. Waterfall and beach was spectacular a must see I will be back!

Amazing excursion,Nacho was an excellent tour guide and Jesus Alberto was a great driver. Loved swimming in the beautiful turquoise water at the natural swimming pool sandbar and walking on the beautiful white sand and swim mining in the warm water at Bacardi Island.

Great service and very safe. Bring a backpack because there is a lot of moving around especially on the horse and a bag with straps is cumbersome. On the boat ride back we even got to see a baby whale and a momma whale! It was a rare occurrence since by April 10 they’re usually gone, but this baby stuck around as a birthday present for my wife! It was her birthday and she had an amazing time! Dominicanos were very accepting of us and we had a great time, definitely recommend for the lesbianas!

My favorite part was riding the horses. The beach was also beautiful. Our advisor was very informative.

Nacho was a great tour guy and our boat captain found the whales quickly in the bay and kept positioning the boat for everyone to get a good look at them. We then went to bacardi island for some beach time and a Dominican buffet lunch.

Had a great afternoon with Jesus as our guide going to the island, beach was beautiful, sun was out @ service was great.

Nice but when you get picked up so early and don’t really get a nice breakfast you’re hungry until lunch time. I felt like o got a sample size coffee.

It was a beautiful experience, our tour guide “Sexy Papi” and driver Juan were really great!!! Our guides were informative, we knew exactly what to expect and had fun. The only thing I would have liked more is if they could allow us more time at the waterfall and Bacardi Brach, even 30 minutes more. Other than that, my hubby and I had a wonderful experience!

The tour guide Nacho and the driver Willi made this experience more enjoyable and memorable! Bacardi is a unique place and Cayo Levantado has a great beach.

We took the Cayo Levantado excursion in the Dominican Republic in early August. Our guide, Nacho, was exceptional. He was an excellent guide and had a great sense of humor. He was always attentive to all the passengers. The bus driver called Piña was an excellent driver: very careful, very prudent on the road, very polite and also in an excellent mood. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Both Nacho and Piña deserve five stars, highly recommended. Excellent duo. Thank you both very much.

Enrique is the best driver and Nacho is very entertaining and knowledgeable. The catamaran crew was great and very attentive. The empanadas on our stop were the bomb.

Perfect if what you want is to waste your time. The one-way trip alone lasted 5 hours, which was not even the amount of time we spent doing said excursion. The guide Rafael was not at all compatible; you would ask him questions and he would ignore answering you by saying that “that is a company matter.” Aside from being in a state of intoxication. Not at all punctual with the schedules, we were on Bacardi Island for barely 1h and on the horseback ride to the Limon waterfall for about 2h; you spend more time traveling from place to place than what they actually paint the excursion to be. In conclusion; disastrous and not at all recommended, I would not repeat it.

IT IS A WASTE OF TIME, you lose a day doing this excursion, we spent 5 hours getting from the hotel to the first activity, the guide from the first hour giving (exaggerated) time courtesies to everyone, it is not worth it and it is not because of the money, it is because of the day you lose of YOUR vacation, the transport (bus) was fine but the air conditioning was on full blast, several of us asked him several times to turn it down and he did not pay attention, this seems like a freezer IT IS NOT WORTH WASTING TIME HERE, the guide is a separate issue already…..
