Paid for round trip. My family and I were locked up from the airport but when it was time to leave resort to go back to the airport no response or phone would be busy. They finally responded when I asked for a refund.

I went with my husband and toddler. They wanted to pick us up a hour earlier from the pick up time that they gave us. The driving was ridiculous. It was completely unsafe. We almost got into several accidents.

Fun ride !!! What pleasantly surprised me was how calm and orderly the environment felt during the transfer. The surroundings were clean and well-maintained, and the ride itself was smooth and stress-free. We already wrote a review for the transfer from the airport to our hotel at Punta Cana with Alta Gama transportation company. Now I am going to write a review for the way back from the hotel to the airport. Since we paid for the round trip transportation - we assumed that they will pick us up. There was no communication from this company until the departure date. A night before, we went to the reception desk and asked them to call this company (I had a previous message from them when they picked us up). The number didn't answer first, but we tried calling them. Someone picked up the phone and stated that they are on a motorcycle and have nothing to do with their company. We texted them and got their response back: "Who are you?" "Send us a proof that you have a reservation". After we did that - we are customers! The company should be contacting us telling us when they will pick us up! They texted back to us: "OK". We will come in the morning. I texted back to them asking to pick us up BEFORE 7am. We have to leave the hotel no later than 7am. We've been waiting in the lobby since 6:30am - they didnt' arrived. At 7:10am we took a taxi. When we were on the way to the airport at 7:20am they texted us: "HOLLA!" The driver is arriving to the lobby!". We responded to them that we are no longer need their transportation as they were grossly negligent and late! We had to pay $40.00 to taxi driver in addition to the money we paid to Alta Gama transportation! Avoid them if you don't want to miss your flight and be frustrated at the end like we were!.
It was a smooth process booking and finding the drivers at the airport. They reached out to us through WhatsApp. Danis was our driver to get to the airport and even though we were running behind schedule he got us there safely and efficiently.
Alta Gama provided timely, thoughtful, and professional service. I definitely will reach out to them during my next visit and recommend to friends.

Excellent service! Arrived on time, holding a sign with our name, and waiting outside the airport for pickup, very easy to find the driver, I attached their sign. Even arrived 10 minutes early and waited in the lobby for dropping off. Highly recommended!

I booked round trip transfer through Viator for $56.00 approximately 2 weeks prior to needing the service. The DAY BEFORE I was to use them they told me I owed them more money. When I reserved the service I obviously specified what hotel we were staying at. They informed me that it was to far from the airport and cannot do it for that price. Okay, no problem, just refund me the money and I will go with someone else. They would not refund me the money since it was 24 hours prior so I had two choices pay them an extra 60.00 American (which is approximately 75.00 Canadian) or lose my money completely. What kind of shake down is this? The lady on whats app pestered me and pestered me to make the payment. When I got to the vehicle he wanted cash (I told him I did not have cash) so they wanted paypal. I contacted paypal and they said to just keep a record of our conversation pay the difference and dispute it after. So I ended up agreeing to 40.00 American but said that I was paying under duress. What a sad Company that does not honour their agreed price. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
