An excellent excursion. The vehicle was very comfortable. The guide was flexible regarding the schedule and the choice of locations visited within the national park, adapting to our preferences. The guide provided us with a lot of information about the national park and life in Patagonia. Lunch was arranged at a small restaurant within the park offering a beautiful view, and it included a choice between two menus. Both were delicious.

Itinerary
Drive from Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales
We will pick you up in Punta Arenas, we will drive north 170 miles. The first destination is the Milodon Cave where in 1895 remains of a prehistoric animal were found and today there is a replica of the mammal and detailed information on the glaciall process of how the cave was formed.
We will then drive to the entrance of the Park
Inside the Park you can meet the turquoise lakes such as Pehoé and Nordenskjold, waterfalls and ice-covered mountains. A 15-minute walk inside the park is necessary to get close to the Salto Grande. The first natural scenarios that can be seen as you approach the park are: Sarmiento Lake viewpoint, Torres del Paine, Cuernos del Paine and Cerro Almirante Nieto. As for the fauna, the most predominant animals that are appreciated are: guanaco, ñandú and condor, as well as others less frequent to observe such as foxes, hares, chincol and the lion of America: the Puma.
Lake Nordenskjold, a pristine gem nestled within the breathtaking landscapes of Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia, offers a captivating blend of tranquility and natural beauty. Named after the Swedish geologist Otto Nordenskjold, this glacial lake boasts a striking deep blue hue that reflects the sky and surrounding mountains, creating a mesmerizing visual symphony. Fed by the Paine River, the lake's waters originate from the melting ice of the imposing Paine Massif, which adds a touch of purity to its allure.
Laguna Amarga, a serene and captivating natural feature, graces the landscape of Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia. Its name, which translates to "Bitter Lagoon," hints at the unique character of this remarkable body of water. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Paine Massif, Laguna Amarga showcases a picturesque contrast between its tranquil surface and the rugged, imposing peaks that surround it. The lake's waters, often reflecting the intense blue of the Patagonian sky, offer a reflective sanctuary amid the wilderness. While its name may evoke a sense of bitterness, Laguna Amarga's beauty is anything but. The subtle play of light on the lake's surface, especially during sunrise and sunset, transforms it into a canvas of ever-changing colors, inviting visitors to pause and absorb the magic of the moment.
During our journey, we'll make a delightful stop at a charming rustic general store in Cerro Castillo. Here, you can savor a comforting cup of coffee, take advantage of clean and well-maintained restrooms, and treat yourself to a delicious snack.
We will finally head back to your hotel in Punta Arenas.5 Hour drive,

OUTSTANDING! Gerardo and Wilson picked us up right on time for our day trip to Torres del Paine. It was such a pleasant day, Gerardo was so knowledgeable and personable. My daughter really wanted to see a puma and Gerardo and Wilson did their best to find one. It was a long day, but one we'll always treasure. Thank you!
This was EXACTLY what I was looking for. We had a few days in Punta Arenas before our Antarctica trip and we wanted to dip our toes into Patagonia. We knew we could not do it proper justice but this tour is as close as it comes! They picked us up promptly at 6am at our hotel and then stopped at all the major points so we could take pictures. I felt like we did Torres del Paine. We also did the Cueva del Milodón which was pretty awesome! The tour guide was honestly amazing and I highly recommend him. He knew his geology, botany, and history. It was a whirlwind tour but worth every dollar. We got such amazing pictures. And there were very thoughtful bathroom breaks and an amazing place to stop for lunch, I would recommend this to anyone who had limited time in the area! We left at 6am and got back at almost 8pm and worth every minute. So glad this tour exists!
This was a great tour with Gerardo and Caesar. They were able to pick us up in Puerto Natales at our hotel and drop us off at the Punta Arenas airport in time for our 9pm flight with no issue. I would highly recommend Amigos Patagonia, professional, on-time, and fantastic guiding. We also saw a puma, lizard, condors, and hawks on our tour which was amazing.
Actually we did not make the tour with Amigos Patagonia as we had a last minute change in the itinerary of our ship. I felt very bad as Gerardo had done a lot of work for us and we could only cancel 40 hours in advance. All without cost. I offered to compensate at least for a part of the inconvenience, but Gerardo refused. Fantastic service from this professional company that I can only highly recommend. Hope to return one day. And then I know whom to contact. Thank you very much.
Yesterday we had the pleasure of spending the day with Gerarado the founder of Amigos Patagonia and Cesar our driver. Even though it was a long day it went by so fast. Torres del Paine is stunningly beautiful. The vistas were unreal one after another. Gerardo was the perfect balance of knowledge, humor and kindness. Cesar was kind and professional. He made us feel safe at all times. This tour absolutely exceeded our expectations. We're ready to do it all over again. Thank you Amigos Patagonia!
We had a great experience going to Torres del Paine. The trip is long from Punta Arenas, but our guide Cristian and driver Cesar made it very comfortable. The national park is beautiful!, We had limited time, so did a 1 day tour, next time we would like to stay at the park for a days.
If I could give 6 stars, I would! What a wonderful day! The company name is so fitting, since it was like taking a fun road trip with good friends! Gerardo is amazing - so full of great stories, a wealth of information, and so knowledgeable about the area! And our driver, Cesar was so great! We learned so much about the area, the culture, the geology, and the wildlife - and both went above and beyond to try and help us get some great wildlife pictures. It was definitely a long day, but we're so glad we took the trip and got a taste of beautiful Torres del Paine (now we know we need to come back!) Fun side note - we were wandering around Punta Arenas the following day, and our driver Cesar happened to see us - he waved and pulled over to see if we needed help finding anything, and offered to give us a ride (we declined - but what a kind offer!) This speaks volumes of the character and kindness of these folks. Highly recommend Amigos Patagonia!
Gerardo Jaque was an amazing tour guide for our Torres Del Paine expedition! He and his wonderful driver took us to the most beautiful places. He even took photos on his nice camera and sent them to me. It was an incredible day. We highly recommend taking his tours.
Our tour operator Amigos Patagonia proved to be excellent in their job. Christian, our tour guide is amazing. As we are both senior citizens, he adjusted to our pace . We could do the trekking part at our speed and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Christian was well informed and could clarify our queries. He was pleasant throughout and took good care of us. Our tour driver Caesar was excellent too. His driving was very smooth without Jenks. He too assisted us while climbing stairs and slopes. Cudos to both of them . An excellent team of Amigos Patagonia !!!
Dress prepared and just go with the flow! The views are stunning! Our guide Gerardo was excellent and made the trip tailored to our needs and was very informative! We really enjoyed having him as a guide!
Both places were amazing and a must visit for travellers. What made this trip really special was our tour guide Gerardo. Gerardo proactive reached out to us to find out our preferences, specially of dietery preferences. All members of our group are vegetarians and him taking interest in this was excellent. We also had a situation with us missing the flight to Punta Arenas and Gerardo readily was working with me for rescheduling the tour with me. Luckily, we were able to catch a later flight and reach Punta Arenas at 2:00 AM on the day of our trip. Gerardo was once again accommodated our request for a delayed start of the tour so that all of us can get some rest. While Gerardo was explaining all aspects of the tour, Philippe was driving the van extremely well give the not so good road conditions (as to be expected in such remote places). Gerardo is educated in the USA with 2 degrees but his passion for Chile brought him back and it showed in his enthusiasm while explaining key aspects of our tour. He is also very versed with the history of Chile and our group learned a lot about Chile and neighbouring countries (Argentina, Peru & Bolivia). Gerardo also surprised us with a fantastic vegetarian lunch in the middle of nowhere in Torres del Paine. The lunch was a simple vegetarian lunch but very tasty. His timing was impeccable as we reached and covered every point on time. Thanks Gerardo and Philippe for making our tour wonderful and memorable.
Wow!!! What an amazing experience with Gerardo being our tour guide!!!! We are from Canada and didn’t know Spanish. But he made us feel at home from the time he welcomed us at hotel and dropped us back. He was attentive in all aspects. Well educated and speaks English very well at the same time well connected to the locals. He is very knowledgeable and has answers to all questions. At the same time, he gives us our space and is not on our face all the time. He went beyond normal to help us. For example, I had left my jacket behind in a coffee shop about 3 hours away from our hotel during a guided private tour with Gerardo and Philippe. The entire experience of the delivery of the jacket to the hotel was memorable. Philippe personally delivered the jacket next day before our departure from the hotel. Their timing is perfect. The extra effort and time taken by Gerardo to make sure I received within 24 hours to be able to take it back with me made me feel how tourists are treated with so much of care and personal attention. Gerardo was truly exceptional not only as a guide but made sure of all details from arranging vegetarian lunch giving special cookies and telling us many stories and our entire group of 8 had a blast. Highly recommend Gerardo and Philippe. My rating is 10 out of 10. I will hire his services as the tour guide anytime. Kalai S. Kalaichelvan Chairman and CEO EION Wireless Ottawa, ON CANADA
Gerardo and our driver were great! They were attentive to our needs, had all logistics taken care of, and very informative about what we saw. I’ve done several different guided tours on trips and this was one of the best I’ve experienced.
I have done many tours all over the world, and this is probably the best one I've ever had. The sights of Torres del Paine are incredible, and the history of the area and the geology was so well explained by our guide! It really made the entire trip so much more enjoyable! My friends and I had so much fun asking any and all questions and enjoying the beautiful scenery. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough!
Very impressive tour and excellent service. Ask for Juan as your tour guide. Competent, funny and professional.
Gerardo is an excellent tour guide! His passion and knowledge for Torres del Paine is unmatched. The tour was everything we hoped for and more, Torres del Paine is absolutely beautiful. Thanks!!
Cannot recommend this experience highly enough, both for the landscape and our guide. Juan doesn’t deliver a scripted lecture like some tours, but rather a free flowing conversation filled with the history, geology, ecology and culture of the Magallanes region that adapted and customized to our interests and itinerary. My only regret is only scheduling a single day to visit Torres del Paine, and already planning a future trip back to Patagonia.
Cannot recommend this experience highly enough, both for the park and our guide. Torres Del Paine is such a beautiful place to visit. The landscape and the color of the water on the lakes were amazing. Our guide Gerardo Jaque made it even more enjoyable as he explained everything about the park and pointed out all picture perfect location for photos. I highly recommend Amigos Tours for Torres Del Paine full day tour from Punta Arenas. Thanks for the memories.
Geraldo was very knowledgeable about the geology of the area, providing insightful perspective of the day-long tour along with history of the region, as well as being engaging and well spoken in both English and Spanish. He and Philip (driver) were flexible and worth spending the day with in a foreign country. Highly recommend.
A fantastic guide, well worth it!! I would highly recommend!! We got to see beautiful wildlife and amazing scenery, all with a guide dedicated to making our day special.
The day we spent with Christian (guide) and Jimmy (driver) in Torres del Paine was everything we could have hoped for. The weather was truly wonderful, Christian provided us with a lot of information on the park and was able to answer any questions we had. Jimmy was a very safe driver and navigated the dirt portions of the road very well. As we toured Christian was continual asking us if we wanted to stop for pictures, as a result we got a number of great pictures. Jimmy also took a lot of pictures and after the tour he sent us the pictures he had taken of us. A real added bonus. The pictures in the review were all taken by our guides with their cameras. After many tours of South America we would deem the guide and the driver for your company as exceptional, An amazing experience.
The view of the lakes and mountains of Torres Del Paine. It's so beautiful which is memorable for both of us. The Guide Juan was so knowledgeable with the whole park and we enjoy the information he shared with us. He was also very helpful and experience guide especially on the wind condition and even helped my wife when she encounter strong wind against her.
Professional Communication: the owner Gerardo managed interacting with guest himself upon reservation. His international exposure, knowledge from academics and compassion having lived aboard ensured a smooth and professional communication. Engaged guides: having interacted with a number of tour guide - Christian, Jorge, they had professional certification, skills, passion and pride. They leveraged the private tour to maximize what matters for the most to each guest. They are for sure jot the cheapest tour supplier and are not supposed to compete with large group tour operators, but we felt the service well justified what we paid for. So if you are on tight schedule and don’t want to waste any minute in Punta Arenas or want to get to insightful conversation with locals knowledgeable about the culture and geography, this is a safe bet.
Christian and Geraldo offered a very personally engaged private tour for our family. We started at 6 and the tour stretched almost till 9 as I stop often for photography. They were patient with our request and informative to our questions. Christian is an expert of waterfalls and next to Spanish, English he can speak Chinese with us and Gerado is a photographer too. Amazing to manage the trip while getting to know a few new friends. Thanks.
Gerardo was amazing. He spoke perfect English, he knew a lot about the park and made for a wonderful experience. Felipe who drove us made sure the road was smooth, even when it wasn't. I would highly recommend booking Gerardo Jaque at amigospatagonia.com He is terrific.
Guide Juan was extremely knowledgeable, in general, and particularly about Patagonia, the park, the animals. He was able to both answer our specific questions as well as spontaneously inform us of the interesting aspects of the park and its history. We had extremely unusual snowy weather in November and he did his best to chase the clear skies and achieve the views for which Patagonia is so well known, as well as show pursue some areas we would not otherwise have seen to compensate for cloud cover. We saw 3 pumas! among many other birds/animals. Felipe was an excellent driver. Both very pleasant company.
No trip to Patagonia would be complete without this tour! It is unforgettable, with incredible scenery, unique wildlife and multiple climate zones all in one place. Our tour guide, Gerardo, was fantastic. He spoke great English, knew the history behind the park, the best places to stop for photos and was well-versed in geology. Having a guide, although more expensive, gives you a chance to learn much more about the park and cave than if you just go on your own. Gerardo explained the flow of the water, glaciers and how the park formed, along with many other things. Stops included Puerto Natales, Cueva Milodon, a gift shop near Argentina, unplanned stops to take pictures of wildlife, and if course many stops around Torres del Paine. A great guide can get you to the best picture taking spots that you might not otherwise find. On top of the spectacular landscape, some of the most beautiful I have ever seen, there is also unique wildlife. We saw pink flamingoes, guanacos, condors, an armadillo and a fox, on top of a number of interesting birds that I did not recognize. It was a long day; the drive from Punta Arenas is not short, which is why it's nice to have a driver. Also, if there is a breakdown, there is no auto service nearby. The stops broke up what was about a 15 hour tour, personalized for the 2 of us. Overall an unforgettable experience if you love nature and landscapes! Totally worth every penny and highly recommended. Thank you, Amigos!
We booked a 16-hour private tour of Torres Del Paine National Park and the Ceuva del Miladon with Gerardo, the owner of Amigos Patagonia. We left and ended in Punta Arenas, were he picked up and dropped us off. (shoutout to Jose, who was a great driver!) He went above and beyond in every way. He was on time and extremely knowledgeable about the history, flora and fauna, and animal life of the region. His passion for the area and his work came through in his ability to entertain, demonstrate kindness, and tailor the tour to our needs and desires--answering every little question we had with such description and welcoming more. We felt so welcomed and safe. We felt like we ended the tour with a new friend. Without hesitation, we would book him again if we were back in the area. It is unfortunate that we can only give a 5-star rating max, because we'd like to give a 10! It was especially helpful that he was bilingual and we bonded over our U.S. and Chilean experiences together. Thank you Gerardo!!!
This was an awesome tour; where to begin? First of all, Torres del Paine is incredible to behold. It is a long day going from Punta Arenas to Torres, but the sights are other-worldly. Secondly, Cueva Milodon is remarkable. However, the day is made by the tour guide. Our guide, Gerardo, spoke fantastic English, was enthusiastic and engaging, but most of all, knew his subject. So, we learned about the geology of the area, the history (both good and bad) of the region and the best sites to see. There were numerous stops for amazing photos, a hike to a waterfall, stops for coffee and snacks and plenty of H2O. In the shadow of Torres (literally), the car wouldn't start. Gerardo and the driver worked very hard to get us up and running. At one point Gerardo was literally holding jumper cables (without clips) to the battery terminals. A few moments later, he was back telling us the history of Torres... Why take a tour instead of driving yourself? This is one reason. Most importantly, a good guide will give you useful information and you will learn a lot about a wide range of subjects. We saw guanacos, condors, a fox, an armadillo, pink flamingoes and other large birds. We looked for pumas in certain areas but did not see any. This was an unforgettable day and the highlight of our stay in Punta Arenas. Highly recommended!
An incredible experience. Full marks to Gerado and Felipe who went out of their way to make this experience unique and comfortable. Their knowledge was exceptional. They gave us 15 hours of their time and were constantly interested in our satisfaction. The place is mesmeric in terms of natural beauty. The wildlife is also something to behold. Highly recommended. Seen fewer better places in the 80 countries I have visited.
Definitely one of the best tours that I have been on. Phillipe was our driver and Christian was our tour guide. Being able to see the beauty of Torres del Paine in person was amazing. Loved that we were able to take our time taking in the gorgeous scenery (and to take so many photos). In addition to the wonderful landscapes, we saw llamas, various birds, livestock, and other animals. Phillipe and Christian were so patient and great for pointing out the many wildlife that we saw along the way. I also loved learning about their culture, the history of the ancient and indigenous people, and other facts about the area. Such a wonderful and fun experience. I would highly recommend it! Thanks!
I can’t say enough good things about this tour and our guide. Juan (aka Johnny) was so kind and attentive and knowledgeable. He is beaming with passion and enthusiasm for not only his job but Patagonia. Truly this experience was incredible and worth every single penny. Ask for Juan when you book
I booked actually all three tours with the company including the reserve hiking and he city tour, along with this one. The experience is great. Their car is big and comfortable. The guide very professional without being too talkative for the long drive. The weather for all three of our tours are bad but each time the guide makes the experience still enjoyable and lovely. Being a private tour they can change the agenda within reasonable range easily. They are also observant of the group interest. Gerardo has been very warm and genuine. Would recommend the company to everyone!
Gerardo was fantastic! Exceeded our expectations. Excellent English as he had lived in the U.S. for a few years. Very professional, intelligient and caring. He was always making sure we were comfortable. He had great information and lots of fun facts and stories. He picked us up at our hotel in Punta arenas. We had just returned from a 5 day Antarctic cruise on Silversea. We had a limited amount of time to see Patagonia and this private tour worked very well for us. Gerardo was right on time at 6a.m. to pick us up. He had a excellent private driver for us the whole time, so Gerardo could focus on the tour. They loaded our luggage and we were off. Along the way we had multiple rainbows and multiple double rainbows which we thougt boded well for this day. The drive up to Patagonia was uneventful. There was not a lot to see, but Gerardo pointed out occasional items. We dropped our luggage off at The Singular and then headed to Torres Del Paine. This is not the usual stop for him but he accomodated us with no problem. Torres Del Paine is an amazing scenic adventure. We saw everything that was on the promotion for this tour and then some (see our photos) Breathtaking! We saw lots of animals that Gerardo pointed out to us and told us about flamingos, guanacos and lots of other wildlife. If you're in the area this place is not to be missed. You could spend days or weeks exploring. But, you can see a heck of a lot in one day. Gerardo and his driver were so much fun, they became our new friends and we highly recommend his tour. We enjoyed him so much that we had him pick us up a day later for the drive back to Punta Arenas and our flight home.
Great tour! Our guide (Christian) and our driver (Cesar) were both friendly and patient. It is a long tour but well worth it as you will get to explore Torres del Paine at your own pace. We made multiple stops for photo ops and both our guide and driver made sure that we enjoyed our experience. If you only have one day to explore Torres del Paine from Punta Arenas, this is it!
We had an amazing day with Christian and Raul, our new Chilean friends! Raul was a great driver and Christian was a wonderful guide. We got all of the information we needed and saw all of the highlights of Torres del Paine. We even got to see the “Big 5” of wild animals in Patagonia (Flamingo, llama, ostrick, armadillo, and a fox.). Actually I just made that part about the Big 5 up, but we did see a lot of wildlife. In short, if you want to see Torres del Paine, have a free day, and are in Punta Arenas, this is the trip you!!
My friends and I booked a daytrip to Torres del Paine in Chile with Amigos Patagonia on the recommendation of friends. We were skeptical about whether spending such a short time in Patagonia would be worth the time and cost. Much to our delight, Gerardo Jaque greeted us at our hotel and from that point on we had a fantastic long day. Gerardo spoke fluent English and shared his encyclopedic knowledge of history, geology, botany, and geography with great engagement and enthusiasm. We were professionally driven by Philippe in his roomy passenger van. Philippe has driven our route so many times that he knew every detail about the roads (including how to avoid potholes) and the best places to stop. Our short but dense introduction to Patagonia whetted our appetites to return for a longer visit. If you have limited time to visit this remote and beautiful natural wonder, we highly recommend the tour and the company.
Our tour with Raul(the driver) and Christian our tour guide was absolutely incredible and I cannot recommend them enough. Christian was very knowledgeable about not only the main points of interest but also about the local flora and fauna, animals, history, heritage and monuments. Raul our driver had a super comfortable ride and was a safe driver. We had an absolute blast with the both of them! They stop at all of the awesome photo locations and have no problem letting us spend time at any and all locations.
AMAZING GUIDE & DRIVER!!! Christian & Raul were awesome and we had such a fun day. Raul was a great driver and Christian was very knowledgeable and personable. We had such a fun and informative day. 10/10!!! They took us to so many awesome places that weren’t filled with tourists and had AMAZING views.
What should I say? Going to Patagonia is already an amazing experience, our friends at Amigos Patagonia make this even more unique! Gerardo is a fantastic guide and a wonderful person. He has deep knowledge of Patagonia and loves to share with us. We can feel his passion for nature and the land that he grew up on. It is an essential yet often missed quality of a tour guide. But Gerardo is just that good. Gerardo is way above a tour guide! It was a long day to see many different places and experience extreme weather conditions, yet Gerardo and the driver Guillermo did a great job planning the tour route so we were able to see most the places. The previous day, we also had a tour of Parque Del Estrecho with Amigo Patagonia. The young energetic guide Francisco was excellent. Both tours are top quality and one of a kind. Amigo Patagonia sets the bar for tourism in Punta Arenas. Thank you Gerardo!
Christian was our guide and Phillipe was our driver. Both were excellent. We were lucky because the weather was absolutely perfect, and Torres Del Paine was gorgeous! Our tour was 14.5 hours and we managed to see EVERYTHING we wanted to see in the park as well as the Cave of the Millodon. We were given lots of information and we talked about many subjects during the 3.5 hour drive there and back. I recommend Christian and Phillipe very, very, highly
How to begin...Gerardo was the most fantastic guide. So full of energy and knowledge. We saw so many animals and birds. But the Torres del Paine was the ultimate. Saw it from every direction. With beautiful glaciers and waterfalls. Thank you so much for making this so special Gerardo and company.
My sister and I had a fabulous time with Gerardo and Felipe. They were professional, polite, knowledgeable, and fun. They took us on a full day trip to Torres del Paine, while we were staying in Punta Arenas. They took us to some "local known" places, that we would not have experienced with a large tour group. We had an exceptional cultural exchange, with many belly laughs, a great sightseeing experience, and a memories for a lifetime. We highly recommend Gerardo and Felipe for an intimate guided tour of Punta Arenas and Patagonia. Gerardo is fluent in English and Felipe is like me...understands much and doesn't feel comfortable speaking. Both anticipate every need. Oh and ask to stop by the the panaderia y pataseria on the way to Torres del Paine.
Gerardo has been a great guide, very pleasant guy, very competent, perfect English (lived in the US for years Abend got married there), it has not only been a pleasure to have him but as well we learned a lot about the history of the country and nature.
We promised ourselves a journey to Torres del Paine and on our 65th birthday together with friends we signed on to this excursion. The sheer beauty of the many landscapes of the region and the park make this a worthwhile trip. The weather cooperated and our guide Gerardo Jaque, a native of Los Angeles (Patagonia), a graduate of U Georgia in Macon, brings a rare combination of native Patagonian knowledge and southern English! The driver, Felipe, could probably navigate the 600 mile journey with his eyes closed - he was an excellent driver. We covered a lot of territory - one breathtaking scene after another - and Gerardo provided background on the geological, climate, flora, fauna and culture in clear and digestible doses. Highly recommend but be prepared for a long ride from Punta Arenas (Puerto Natales is about 3 hours closer to the park) and layers of clothing (as the weather conditions can change).
We cannot express how much we enjoyed our day with Gerardo J., our guide and our driver, Raul. They were prompt, funny, interested and helpful. Gerardo took us to many of his favorite spots, all so very beautiful. You can trust your day with Gerardo as he has been exploring Torres del Paine since he was a baby and knows all of the history, animals, waterways, and trails. We even stopped at a favorite spot to eat on the ride home- it was delicious. Raul is a cautious driver so you won't think twice about closing your eyes on the trek back to Punta Arenas. We were a mixed group of English speakers and one that spoke Spanish (even though he's Dutch!) and Gerardo explained things easily in both languages. Don't think twice- book this amazing tour.
When we decided to visit the Chilean Patagonia we carried out a detailed search for guides to make our trip a safe and unforgettable one. In that search we identified Gerardo from Amigos de Patagonia. Gerardo not only organized our visit to Patagonia but he also became a friend of those that life presents to you along the way. Knowledgeable of history, detail oriented and personable. We couldn't have made a better choice. If you ever visit Chilean Patagonia, he is the one. And Torres del Paine is simply a magical place.
The tour and Geraldo were excellent! My friends and I had a blast. Gerardo was professional, effeciant and very accomading. We were in good hands and had the best time ever visiting Pantagonia and the Glacier. I highly, highly recommend booking this Panatagonia tour. You will not regret it. Thanks, Geraldo, for a memorable trip! 😁
