About Activity
Sillustani, near Puno, features ancient Chullpas (tubular structures) up to twelve meters high, remnants of the Kolla culture on Lake Umayo's peninsula. Afterward, we'll visit Atuncolla to meet alpaca herders, sample local cuisine like diverse potatoes and fresh cheese, and explore Andean customs, crafts, and natural medicine, concluding with a communal lunch cooked in traditional 'huatias' earth ovens.
