About Activity
On this 4-hour activity, you will ride on through Cahuita community lifestyle like a real cowboy, learn from its rich culture and enjoy the beauty of the southern Caribbean on this horseback riding tour. Located in the middle of a stunning region at the province of Limon, life of Cahuita takes place, home to about 4,000 residents, mostly from Jamaican descent. This wonderful cultural fusion can be seen in the brightly painted wooden homes, spicy coconut curries, and the many reggae bars. In addition to a Caribbean population, Cahuita has several tribes of indigenous people, Costa Ricans of Latin descent, and expats from over fifty countries. Expats from all over the world have opened hotels and restaurants alongside locals, creating an international scene of Italian restaurants alongside typical Costa Rican fare. The day of the activity, you will be picked up from your hotel by an A/C van/bus and take you to Cahuita town, about 25 minutes away. Upon arrival, the local guide will brief you with all safety instructions and provide you with all the equipment required to set you up before heading your way onto this 4-hour horseback riding adventure. If you have never ridden a horse before, fear not, as you will ride docile and trained horses that let beginners and expert riders go along in an ease way.
