A beautiful day filled with amazing scenery. The disappointing lunch experience kept this from a perfect score.

Itinerary
We begin our tour from Puerto Varas city, “The City of Roses” going to Osorno Volcano, by the shore of Llanquihue lake. We’ll enjoy the Amazing landscape with the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes, until we get to Ensenada where we start to ascend to the Osorno Ski Mountain center, located at 1.240 meters of altitude.
We will stay there about an hour, will be enough time for sightseeing, take pictures, and appreciate a unique view to the summit of the volcano with glaciers of eternal snow, the Calbuco volcano, Llanquihue Lake and the Pacific Ocean. As an option passenger can take a cup coffee or sandwich at the coffee shop of the place or take the lift to ascend to 1450 meters altitude in the Primavera Station (Spring) or 1750 meters at Glaciar Station (Glacier) where there is a wonderful and breathtaking views of Llanquihue Lake.
By paying an entrance fee to the National Park we get to see one of the most beautiful places of the country, “Petrohué River Falls”, a place where the river jumps great masses of lava crystallized immune to erosion for centuries and formed by smaller stones together by a glassy material that highlights the light. You cannot miss it.
From there we continue a distance of about 5 km, from the slopes of Osorno Volcano and Petrohue bordering the River to the Todos Los Santos lake, where they can take pictures or boarding a vessel that allows them, in a time of 40 minutes or so, sail through Todos los Santos lake or Esmeralda, surrounded by evergreen forests, mountains and the grandeur of the volcanoes, which form a simply spectacular natural setting.

I just completed an incredible full-day tour of Osorno Volcano, Saltos del Petrohué, and Lago Todos los Santos. From the start, the easy booking process and excellent pre-tour organization put me completely at ease. Every logistical detail was handled seamlessly, allowing me to simply enjoy the breathtaking volcanic landscape. We began along the shores of Lago Llanquihue before entering the national park and stopping at Saltos del Petrohué. Here, the river’s sheer force is mesmerizing as it roars through narrow chutes of black crystalline lava rock, carved by centuries of flowing water. The emerald-green water, fed by melting Andean snow, creates a striking contrast against the dark volcanic stone. We then ascended the steep slopes of Volcán Osorno, stopping at the ski center at 1,200 meters. Standing near the eternal snowfields below the volcano’s white-capped summit, we enjoyed a sweeping panorama of the vast lake basin, Calbuco Volcano across the valley, and the distant Pacific Ocean. This company doesn’t just show you the sights—it takes care of you like family. Professional, organized, safe, and deeply passionate, they made the entire experience unforgettable. Do not hesitate to book with them.
Very nice tour and guide, Jenny. Yes would recommend. Need to do some walking. Beautiful park and scenery.
Our guide Alejandro was superb, his communication and knowledge made the trip seamless and memorable.
Initially, I expected the tour to be a bit more active, hikingwise. Even though it didn't turn out to be like that, I had a really good day, saw one majestic thing after the other!
The Chilean Lake District is very special - we saw sun, clouds, and rain in the same hour. We also saw the mountains, volcanoes and lakes. We stopped for lunch too. A great day. Thank you Alejandro!
Excellent tour with great guide and driver only issue is they ommit the extras 1. Cost to enter waterfall 7800 cost of lake cruise 6000 cost of lunch 20000 or 16000 cost of ski lift 33000. Lunch i got soup but they forgot 2 of us we got no more but at the ski lift stop for 90 mins there is another restaurant which was similar price less crowded good views and nice food.
This is an excellent tour, three beautiful places and walks. We had a fantastic guide called Jenny. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because the tour ended with going to a restaurant for lunch which was not mentioned in the itinerary and not included. I had taken my own lunch but felt obliged to eat in the restaurant
A great experience in Puerto Varas. Our guide Nelly was knowledgeable and made this tour fun. She gave us lots of information and answered our questions. It was snowing when we got to the Orsorno Volcano. It was an amazing site. I highly recommend this tour.
Loved the experience! Mauricio was super nice and always with a smile. The restaurant was OK, but everything else was very good and very flexible and friendly.
Our guide for the day, Nelly, was great. Very friendly and helpful and gave us all the information needed, and was very entertaining. 5/5 for her. The minibus was clean and well maintained. The driver was also a very nice guy and funny. The waterfalls were nice to see. Lunch was excellent and very enjoyable and a good price. The group was friendly and helpful especially the Brazilian couple who helped me a lot as a non Spanish speaker. And the trip up the volcano was also interesting although cold near the top- warm jacket and a hat advisable. I would have added another hour or so to the trip- the ski lift up the volcano (29000 CLP) was possibly the slowest in the world and the distance between points is quite a long way- this led to things being a little rushed and as a result, one guest was sick on the bus (not her fault) because the road up the volcano is very winding and immediately after lunch, also on the return journey the driver was going pretty fast and made some potentially dangerous overtaking manoeuvres- I’m a professional driver myself so I note these things. Safety and comfort should always be paramount so adding more time into the tour would have resolved this
Nelly was our guide and she was great! Very informative and we knew what to except. She communicated in English and Spanish. The views of the volcano were amazing and so was the waterfall. She was prompt with keeping everyone on track with time. Great experience!
It was a good trip to visit the amazing Petrohué waterfalls and Osorno volcano near Puerto Varas. Our tour guide Jenny was excellent in terms of managing the entire trip. She tools us to an amazing restaurant for lunch and we all loved the scrumptious menu.
Great Day trip from Puerto Varas. The Driver and Guide were amusing and made sure all the group had fun. The Volcano and Petrohue falls were amazing of course
The programme is well designed and the activity is well delivered. The guide knows his subject well.
The positive thing about this trip was our tour guide who spoke very good English and made sure that we understood his commentary. The negatives were as follows: 1. The bus was completely full, too small and exceptionally uncomfortable. 2. if you were fortunate enough to be picked up first, you could get one of the more comfortable seats. But those of us that got picked up last got stuck at the back of the bus in the most uncomfortable seats imaginable. My wife and I were crammed in a bench seat that was best suited For three people not four. If I had had the opportunity, I would’ve gotten off the bus and tried to get my money back. Naturally, the people that had the more comfortable seats were unwilling to give theirs up all day long. 3. The stop at the Falls was pleasant and we enjoyed the hikes and the waterfalls. 4. The trip to the top of the volcano was on eventful, but with all the switchbacks, braking and accelerating. It was really uncomfortable in the van.. 5. Our tour guide was unable to keep One family on time and they consistently held up the group at every stop including lunch. 6. The lunch was overpriced and really not very good. Several people complained about the poor quality of the food. 7. None of the stops and attractions on the tour are included in the price. The entire cost of the trip is for the bus ride. This is explained several times by the tour guide, but needs to be reiterated. All in all, you could do everything on this tour yourself if you had a Rent-A-Car or other transportation. That would also free you up to have a lunch somewhere else or a picnic if you bring your own food.
Jenny was a wonderful guide and super friendly! Recommend for sure. The volcano was certainly the highlight. Be careful along the trails. Can be easy to get lost since they are not labeled.
The weather cleared & Osorno Volcano was clear to the top. We enjoyed the hike through the National Park in the morning while it was still heavy clouds. Our tour guide, Penny was wise in making the decisions to visit the sights in the order she chose. She met us on the trail & walked with us part of the time. She enjoys people & is very cordial. Our lunch was delicious at a restaurant on the lake. The grilling meat smelled wonderful as we drove into the parking lot. It’s always helpful when the guide chooses a restaurant. By now the Sun was out full to go to Osorno! We had plenty of time from the drive up to the ski center lift & on up to the glacier if we chose. The tour was full with 16people. The guide spoke well in both English & Spanish & took the time to be sure we all heard the information she gave us! We were both picked up & dropped back at our hotel which was convenient!
We have been in Puerto Varas for 5 days. The only time Osorno volcano was not obscured by clouds was the night before and the morning of this trip. The guide said that we were lucky as it had been cloudy and raining for over a week. But instead of seizing the opportunity and going to the volcano straight away, he took us to Petrohue first, then wasted another hour while he & the others went on an 'extra' boat trip on Lago Todas Los Santos, which was not even on the itinerary. (My husband and i did not go on this as we had booked a trip which included this a couple of days later. Only then, at nearly midday, did we go to Osorno & as we made our way there, it became covered in heavy cloud, so there were no beautiful views and the experience was a great disappointment. I fully understand that good weather and great views can not be guaranteed....but he had a great opportunity to give us that....and he missed it. Osorno was the main headline of the trip....it was first on the list to be visited on the itinerary i looked at when i booked the trip. He made a poor decision and spoiled the day.

I had huge difficulties contacting the local tour to get information on pickup. Though I emailed viator also they did not give me direct access to them until very late in the process. In short we missed our tour even though we continued to try to contact them up to the morning when we landed in Puerto Varas. Very disappointed!

Wonderful trip to the heights of the Osorno Volcano. The guide was helpful and made our trip to the volcano and neighboring lakes an unforgettable experience.

The place is spectacular. I was unlucky, and you could not see the Osorno, because we were wrapped in clouds. But the Petrohue is dreamy.
The tour is very complete, the volcano is beautiful and the waterfalls are quite different in relation to the color of the water and the combination with the volcano gives an amazing landscape. What I didn't like was the lunch, restaurant very bad, by the way to eat well in Chile has to look a lot. I bought the package on TripAdvisor via the internet and it was much more expensive than buying in Puerto Varas. Let me buy there.
Very nice walk, especially the jumps of the Petrohue River and the boat on Lake All Saints. We could not enjoy the Osorno volcano for the time, much wind and fog that did not allow us to appreciate the view. Super friendly guides.
The south is wonderful, its landscapes invite us to contemplate the great beauty of our country and makes us feel that we are in paradise. We have a long way to go, beautiful sands cove, I took a look at the beginning of the southern road, which will be our next adventure.
The tour was surprising, exceeding expectations. Highlighting the beauty of the place with the tour guide transport service.
Todos os momentos especiais, principalmente a beleza do vulcão osorno e os lagos que se formam abaixo
Great tour with great guide! Highly recommended! Note: additional expenses for chairlift on volcano ($15,000), entrance waterfalls ($6,400), boat tour ($6,000), lunch at restaurant ($15,000)
We were picked up directly from the hotel. The first stop was the waterfalls, followed by a boat trip. At noon we had two hours on the Osorno for lunch and to explore the volcano. Finally, we stopped at the green lagoon. A very successful tour! The tour was conducted by local partner Sol de Sur and the team was great! The guide told funny, interesting and informative the most important information about the sights and was always concerned that the wishes of everyone in the group were fulfilled. We particularly liked the fact that we had enough time to look around at every place and just enjoy the views in peace!
We made Santiago to Puerto Natales, via LATAM, and then by bus to Punta Arenas, returning to Puerto Montt, LATAM, and then to Puerto Varas, where we visited the Osorno volcano. Show.
After fleeing the excursions for cruise tourists, she arrived by municipal bus from Puerto Montt to Puerto Varas (3.5€) in 30 min. Charming little town, beautiful lake, friendly population
This visit is essential on a trip to Puerto Varas! The Petrohue River waterfalls are truly beautiful and are located in the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park that although there is not much time to travel if you make visiting the turquoise waterfalls a scenic experience. There is also time for a short sailing on Lake Llanquihue and an excursion to Osorno volcano and its ski resort which is beautiful! Very good guide and company.
I loved the walk, the Jumpers are beautiful to see and were well filled with water which made it even more beautiful. The color Emerald of the water is surreal!! The tour to the volcano was quite cool too, a pity that the bad weather did not let us up the cable car. But it was still worth it.

Excelente passeio.
