Yelapa Escape & Snorkeling In Puerto Vallarta By Speedboat

Our family of 13 including 6 preteen & teens and 5 adults from across the US & New Zealand took this fantastic tour during our vacation to Mexico. Manny our guide and Miguel our captain were just the best! Easy boarding then boated to another dock to pick up a lovely honeymoon couple. We boated to the isolated village of Yelapa first, only accessible by boat. We hiked up to the waterfall and splashed in the fresh water pool. Manny clearly knew the locals and told us they make their living off of tourists, so we made a few purchases. I bought a beautiful rosewood mortar & pestle from a local woodworker & we had amazing empanadas on the way down. Check out the local agave moonshine! After reboarding, we stopped in a small inlet to snorkel. It was an amazing experience. Such abundance of beautiful fish! Back on the boat we stopped at another beach for a lunch of delicious ceviche & cervesas and some swimming. This was a lovely introduction to a culture and landscape very different our own. Highly recommend!

Miguel and Mane to very good care of us on this tour. Great knowledge, safe, and knew the locations. Had a lunch on the beach after Yelapa was an interesting stop but worth it for the waterfall. We had the VIP treatment by Miguel and Mane. If you want a great day trip with good stops and good food, consider this tour.

We had a great time visiting Yelapa fishing village. It’s a cute little town with a lot of history and the waterfall is beautiful! Was super refreshing after the hike up there. We had a great time snorkeling too and saw many beautiful fish. Mane was an awesome guide!

It was 4 hours, the speedboat had a full canopy over all passengers, which was great sun protection. Benjamin, our tour guide, was top notch - friendly and very knowledgeable about the village of Yelapa, the PV area, and marine life. Alonso, the boat captain, was awesome. Delicious lunch and good snorkeling. The tour group was professional, punctual and very friendly.

Linda from Nexus at the Rui Vallarta hotel was amazing at helping me book this trip, listening to what I wanted and recommending what turned out to be a perfect experience for me. The tour with Los Veranos to Yelapa, with snorkeling, waterfall, lunch at Madagascar Beach, and even a dolphin encounter in the wild, was incredible. The boat driver and our guide, Benjamin, were both fantastic! Benjamin sharing his extensive knowledge with us throughout the trip. He’s truly a star at what he does, providing customer service excellence, humor, professionalism, combined with plenty of knowledge of wildlife and the local sites. I highly recommend this trip, it was worth every penny and then some and was definitely a highlight of my Mexico vacation!

We booked this tour last minute and didn't know what to expect. The tour includes a speed boat ride to Yelapa, a small fishing village. Then snorkeling for about an hour. Then hang out and have lunch on a quieter local beach. My 7 year old son totally enjoyed the snorkeling. The two staff members on the tour were friendly and helpful. If you have a child and just want a shorter tour, this is the way to go.

This was my second time visiting Yelapa with a tour group/guide and by far the best experience! It was a stark contrast to the other company with a much smaller group and laid back approach. Instead of loud music and a forced party feel, our guide Benjamin shared his deep knowledge and insight into everything from marine life, species of local wildlife, community traditions and suggestions for exploring the area further. He has found his calling and his love for his job shines bright! Boat and water safety were top notch and our captain was stellar. My family was thrilled and thankful for the adventure and my 73 year old mom was able to check more items off of her bucket list. I feel blessed and highly recommend tour company and especially the crew!

Benji was an amazing guide and we enjoyed every part of this excursion. He was very knowledgeable about the area and created a great experience for everyone on board! We did this as a couple but would also recommend for families.

We did this tour today. Our guide was Benjamin and he was amazing (very informative and friendly). He made the tour personalized to our time and expectations since we were lucky enough to be his only guests for the tour. Yelapa was such a cute and hidden gem. We are a couple with 2 teenagers 16 & 13 and it was perfect for them.

Miguel was a fantastic tour guide and made sure we were taken care of. He did a great job of explaining each leg of the trip. The entire excursion was amazing, and I would definitely recommend it.

It was amazing adventure. I went with my daughter and she had amazing time snorkeling. Going to Yelapa was good too the water fall was awesome. I really recommend. They also take you to a beach were the water is clear and they take you to a picnic. Captain Cielo was awesome and our tour guy Millen was super friendly

Trip to Yelapa exceeded our expectations. Exceptional! JC was an awesome guide. The your of Yelapa, mescaline tasting, passion fruit margs, snorkeling, and cevice on the beach was memorable and the boat ride a breeze. Also cut the line at the marina was key. No waiting around. We were well taken care of by the entire staff.

Mellin and Juan carlos were tour guide that day, and we were treated like family! We focused on speedboat that day. But it would be remiss of me not to mention these professionals for the absolutely unique and wonderful experience they provided! You all made the day a treasured one. I’m still amazed at the many worthwhile photos we were able to capture. And the respect you afforded to each one. No one was made to feel above the other. And this ensured each person could see and have the value for what was paid for. You treated fairly. And made it good for all. Thanks again.

It wa OK. Average. Snorkeling was in cloudy water with few fish. The ceviche for lunch was good but two pieces of bread and a piece of ham was just sad. Our guide was great, kept a close eye on everyone and was always upbeat.

With a wonderful experience on the boat ride today Miguel and jc were incredible. They picked us up right from the marina and took us on an amazing adventure. Took us all the way across the bay and found a secluded snorkelling area where we were able to experience angelfish Stingrays and multiple variety of fish including Sargent fish. After that we took a guided tour to a secluded beach where there was no extra people and we were able to get off of the boat for an hour and explore and feel the waves. Took a family picture and then did a history lesson around the rest of the bay before we came home. we received lunch a homemade sandwich on deliciously moist bread. The beverages were cold the stories were great and on the way home we experience the arches outside front of Puerto Vallarta. Our captain Miguel got us home safely back to the marina where we are staying at the Occidental Nuevo Vallarta.

JC and Mellin were great! Super friendly and had a fantastic time! Definitely recommend them as anyones guides and captain!

Ever did a great job guiding us to Los Arcos National Park. He was very informative and allowed us time to take tons of pictures. We were on the water for a full 2 hours and it was beautiful. He even found 4 dolphins for us to watch which I appreciated greatly! Definitely will use this company again when we come back to PV.!!!

Miguel and Captain Alonzo did a great job with this trip. They were very kind and knowledgeable. They had sandwiches and drinks for everyone after the snorkel experience. We were even able to go to a beach afterwards.

Miguel & Captain Jairo were great guides. The new boat was very nice and comfortable. The time-frame provided were adhered to which allowed us to plan activities for the afternoon and evening.

This experience was amazing. Our tour guide Miguel was so energetic and fun. He took us around the areas where we saw so many fish while snorkelling. 10/10 and recommend to anyone.

I would highly recommend this experience! Miguel was amazing as our snorkeling guide. He got in the water with us, showed us some caves, pointed out different species, took us to a small beach. He was friendly and it was the best part of our trip. It was a very personalized experience. We would definitely pick it again. He loves the ocean and it was obvious.

i went on this snorkeling tour los veranos with my fiancé with our tour guide millen(miguel) and captain jairo. The tour was really an awesome fun experience, the boat ride was fun and fun of scenic views. Miguel and Jairo were very friendly and great host. Millen talked abput most famous landmark and even showed us local marine life and very detailed with everything. I would highly recommend this tour with them at los veranos. Thanks millen and jairo!

This snorkeling trip was the highlight of our trip. Miguel was a fantastic guide and even helped me to spot an octopus hiding in the rock! The boat we were on was brand new and felt very safe. We had personalized attention throughout and I can’t recommend it more.

We had such a wonderful time! Miguel was our snorkel instructor/guide and I honestly can’t say enough good things. He was very knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts about the area. He helped calm the nerves of the first-time snorkeler and guided us through the entire experience. These guys really know where the good snorkel spots are and treat their guests like family. We have a group of 30 and they were very patient, informative. Jairo was very energetic and friendly. The captain drove out and we saw dolphins and turtles in the water before they took us to see the rocks and a secluded area to snorkel. We saw lots of beautiful fishes! They also give us waters, sodas and a brown bag of ham&cheese sandwich and protein bar after we got back up to the boat after we finished snorkeling. Overall, we had lots of fun!

He’s the goat 🐐. Bro is too good and very enthusiastic. Made sure that everyone stayed safe and was overall a great tour guide.

A very fun trip, they included food and drinks and the crew was very friendly and attentive at all times.
