Cynthia was a great guide. We lived seeing the area and tasting different great foods. Highly recommend it. We didn’t just want a taco tour. This was great

We really enjoyed this walking food tour of Versailles! The restaurants we ate & drank at were delicious and fun. Miel, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. The tour gave us some great options of where we will eat in the future!
We went on the Versalles de Noche dinner tour with Al, and it was great. We had five stops in a small area of the Versalles neighborhood near Roma y Francia. My favorite dish on the tour was a risotto at Numōh. The best atmosphere was at Ita. Al has a calm demeanor and is very knowledgeable and encourages questions about the food, culture, or all things Mexico. We took the Pitillal tour with him a few years ago, and we were pleasantly surprised to see him again.
Our walking food tour in Versailles was absolutely fantastic — and somehow even better the second time around! Sylvia was an amazing guide. Her passion for what she does shines through in every stop. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the area and the chefs behind the food, professional in every way, yet so warm and fun that you instantly feel like you’re exploring with a friend. She strikes the perfect balance between informative and entertaining. This was our second time on the tour, and we loved that we were able to experience new restaurants. That alone makes it worth repeating! We visited five different restaurants plus an ice cream shop for dessert — and trust me, you will not go home hungry. Every stop offered generous portions and beautifully prepared dishes that showcased the creativity of the neighborhood’s up-and-coming chefs. What makes this tour so special is that it’s not just about the food (though the food is outstanding). It’s a wonderful way to explore this vibrant, evolving neighborhood and discover the many new, delicious restaurants putting Versailles on the culinary map. If you enjoy great food, meeting passionate chefs, and learning the story behind a growing food scene, this tour is a must. We would absolutely do it again!
We loved our Versailles Food Tour with Vallarta Food Tours. Our guide was 5 star, she was knowledgeable, personable, professional and had a great enthusiasm for her work. She made our tour....but the food was delicious and we loved all of it. Was great to get out and see a new neighbourhood and lots of secret, fun, local places. Can't wait to go again.
My husband and I did the Versalles de Noches food tour on June 11. We have done 3 previous food tours through Vallarta Foods and have loved every one. This one did not disappoint. We decided to venture out of the romantic zone for this tour and really enjoyed the Versalles area. Al, our guide, was excellent and told us the history of the area while we toured. We will continue to choose Vallarta food tours for their professionalism, courtesy, and amazing food!
We had the pleasure of guide Sylvia’s charming personality and knowledge of Mexican cuisine as the only two people on our food tour in Versalles last night. We had incredible food and drink at charming neighborhood restaurants and enjoyed walking around the area. So much food—we had to skip the last food/drink stop in order to have room for dessert! The tour was a lot of fun. We will definitely book another one of their food tours on our next visit to PV.
We did the discover Versalles at night dinner tour, and it was incredible! Sylvia was so knowledgeable and passionate, it made the whole night a treat. We had our adult kids with us, and we all agreed this is one of the best international food tours we have been on! Food and drink were all delicious, and the evening was above our expectations. Highly recommend this!
We thoroughly enjoyed the Versalles Food Tour, and with Alcibiades as our guide, we learned so much about the history of Puerto Vallarta and the restaurants in Versalles. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the specialty cocktail at Barra 322 was an added bonus. Versalles has many great restaurants, and a great vibe. We will be back.
Our third year in a row…always a great time. Our guide, Miel, is an amazing food historian - such a knowledgeable, engaging, and fun guide! We explored the newest Vallarta food destination - the Versailles neighborhood.
We continue to recommend Vallarta Food Tours to anyone going to Puerto Vallarta as an experience not to miss! This was our 5th tour over several years. When we had to cancel the tour to Sayulita, they accommodated the 3 of us with a tour in the Versalles area. We were pleasantly surprised that our guide was Silvia, who had guided us previously. Silvia brings her knowledge of the PV food scene as well as history of PV and food of Mexico. The Versalles area has more interesting restaurants than we were able to visit. However, we had more than enough to eat! We highly recommend Vallarta Food Tours!
We did the Versailles dinner tour & it was amazing !!! Our guide, Al, was fantastic & so full of information about the Versailles area of PV. If you get the chance, it’s definitely worth it. !!
We were on the evening Versalles Tour. Our guide, Sylvia, was tremendous. She was professional, articulate and knowledgeable. The group of 11 had a wonderful time. We have taken a number of Vallarta Food Tours over the years and they have all been excellent. We highly recommend using their services. Of the food tour firms in Puerto Vallarta, they are by far the finest.
Our group of 9 went on the Versalles de Noche food tour. It was like an insider’s tour. Our guide, Silvia, was very knowledgeable about the food and knew each of the restaurant chefs and often the owner. The food and drinks were fantastic, and the Versalles area was very cool. It is amazed us how many restaurants there were in that area. We had 6 stops. Make sure you go hungry! We were nearly too full to finish at the last 2 stops. Highly recommend!
We took the Versalles evening food tour with Silvia and it was great! We loved that the places all had very different vibes and food. We loved hearing about the neighborhood, the restaurants we visited and getting advice on other restaurants in the neighborhood. Silvia was very knowledgable and had great energy. The food was wonderful. We also liked the small size of the group- we were a family group of 4 ranging from 18-82yo and one other family of 4 was on the tour with us. We will definitely do more food tours with Vallarta Food Tours on our next visit!
Al was a great tour guide. All the food we had was delicious and each restaurant prepared something special for the vegetarian in our group. I would highly recommend this tour.
This was our third tour with Vallarta Food Tours, each time we have taken the Versalles by night tour. We requested a repeat trip with our guide Silvia as she is quite simply the best in the business. She is passionate about food and cares deeply to make her guests’ experience as memorable, fun and informative as possible. Before the tour, Silvia took the time to look up our previous itinerary of restaurant stops to make sure we had a refreshed experience of new tasting venues. It was very impressive that the company would manage its data to enhance our experience in this way. She was also careful to match our tastings to any food aversions within our group. We love the Versalles quarter of Puerto Vallarta which is in a quiet residential neighbourhood and highly walkable, with an ever-expanding abundance of restaurants with their own specializations. Next time (which may be very soon) we will try the downtown or two-zone tour with Vallarta Food Tours and hope that Silvia is again available!
We had such a wonderful time tasting delicious food throughout the Versalles neighborhood of Puerto Vallarta. Silvia, our tour guide, was amazing. So knowledgeable about the food, the chefs and Puerto Vallarta. Absolutely recommend the tour and ask for Silvia! You won’t be disappointed.
Evening/ dinner tour to Versalles , up and coming district for food, bars and cocktails. Dry small distance walked but great selection of restaurants and bars. Stylish and innovative tacos, cocktails and local beer tastings.
What a treat to discover this neighborhood with Al, who took us to a variety of restaurants (one with a carefully curated adjoining gallery) for delicious food and interesting background stories. Another stop was a small, popular local bar with unusual mixed drinks (with and without alcohol). As we walked, Al pointed out other restaurants and bakeries. We’ve been coming to Puerto Vallarta for years and had never heard of the Versalles neighborhood, which has become a new and welcome center of activity, especially convenient for those living or staying on the north side of town (close to Costco and the cruise port). We met several of the friendly owners and enjoyed the interesting, unusual food. Many of the stops were close to each other on level ground; streets are cobblestone. After dark, Al used his phone flashlight to alert us to uneven sidewalks. Highly recommended—we look forward to returning to this neighborhood.
Versalles After Dark tour was excellent (not in the drop-down menu for some reason). Guide Sylvia was fun and enthusiastic, knowledgeable with incredible energy. Food was just excellent as we walked from one eclectic place to another. Second time on this tour and we highly recommend it.
