This was the highlight of our week long vacation! Hugo is the best! We brought our family of 7 and I was a little concerned about all of us on e-bikes riding through the busy streets, but Hugo was an absolute pro! He made sure that we were all comfortable and helped us navigate the busy areas with ease. Tacos were amazing, and we got to see some amazing places in PV. Hugo was very knowledgeable and a ton of fun to hang out with. I feel like he went above and beyond to show us some really cool family owned shops and a tour of neighborhoods that we would probably never have found otherwise. Thank you Hugo! We will be back for The mountain tour one day!
This was a fun trip with the electric supplemental power. It is for experienced bike riders! You will be riding over very large cobblestones and within a somewhat narrow bike lane. The tacos were very tasty. Overall, a fun ride.
Our tour guide Hugo was great. He gave us clear instructions on how to operate the e-bikes and led us safely through downtown Puerto Vallarta through the city streets and beach path on our way to the taco stops and stopped off at a tortilla factory, family owned shops and a beautiful church. I would definitely recommend this tour to others and ask that they request for Hugo directly. Also all 3 taco stops were delicious choices with authentic spicy Mexican tacos. Best tour ever..! Did I mention it was our first time on e-bikes? Sooo fun!
Had the best time on an e-bikes and tacos tour around Puerto Vallarta with Asiel and Hugo, they truly made the whole experience. From the start, safety was clearly their top priority. They were super aware of traffic, made sure no one got separated, and kept the group together the entire time, which made it easy to relax and actually enjoy the ride. Both of them were incredibly polite, attentive, and just great to be around. Hugo even carried my purchases at one point, which didn’t go unnoticed. The tour itself was way more than I expected. Great route, great stops, and perfectly paced. Our group of six had an awesome time. Would recommend them anytime. If you’re in PV, go with Asiel and Hugo.
Fun and delicious tour! It starts off riding in a touristy area then goes off the beaten track to taco stands to eat at places you’d probably never go to on your own! Very authentic foods. Also they take you to tortilla place and a leather store and a tile store before returning to where you started for some tequila tasting. This ride could be a bit challenging for older forks although it is electric bikes the streets are cobblestone and a bit hectic at times. We are 70 and own e-bikes and it was fine. We will go again!
We just finished the e-bike taco tour and had the best time. Hugo treated us like gold and was so patient. Highly recommend
Felt safe , very interesting , tacos were great . Tequila was absolutely delicious. Would definitely go again
Bikes were a lot of fun, tour guide was friendly, made stops to shop local, amazing food at places we wouldn’t not have found on our own!
Hugo was fantastic! I am a bit of a nervous rider and he made me feel very safe throughout the whole tour. This is such a great way to see areas of PV that you normally wouldn’t - and getting some amazing food along the way. I highly recommend this tour!
Our guide (Hugo) was great. It was a fun way to see different parts of the city! We would try another of their bike tours if we find ourselves back here!
Hugo did an awesome job, answered all our questions and described the different aspects of Puerto Vallarta. The E-bikes were good, wide tires, good shock absorbers on the bike. Enjoyed the different parts of the city. All three Taco stands were delicious and tour of homemade tortillas was informative. We highly recommend this tour with Hugo.
Good experience. Didn’t know we were gonna stop at so many shops which we didn’t really care for. But otherwise a good time.
Hugo was a FANTASTIC tour guide. He was knowledgeable and super friendly. He took us through parts of PV we would not have seen otherwise. He took photos, kept us safe and offered great historical facts on PV and the 3 family owned taco stands we sampled. I would highly recommend this tour to all and an E-bike is definitely the way to go as it was super easy to manage and made going up hilled areas a breeze.
I took this tour with my 3 daughters 15,12,10. I was worried but youngest couldn’t ride but Hugo was amazing and allowed her to ride with him. We rode through the boardwalk and the city. We took a tour of a tortilla facility and ate fresh tortillas. We stopped at 3 taco stops. The ride was beautiful. Hugo was great and very kind. The tour was very unique and authentic. I would definitely do it again the next time we come.
We had the best time!! Hugo and Kathrine were fabulous fun guides and chose the best stops and the best tacos for us to enjoy! Antonio at the tequila tasting was fun and knowledgeable!!
Meeting place was not where they were located - spent 30 minutes trying to find them - luckily they waited for us. Half the trip was on narrow cobblestone roads with traffic. Tacos were excellent.
Hugo was great! Helped me a lot with my bike. Took lots of pictures for us. Knew the area well and told stories of the people around there.
We had the best bike tour with Hugo! Saw parts of the town that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise and we ate delicious tacos!
Awesome tour!! Great tacos and got to see authentic Puerto Vallarta! Hugo was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and friendly!
The views and food were amazing, Ivan gave me such an incredible tour and is so knowledgeable and passionate about this amazing place! My guide Ivan really made this experience what it was.
Juan was an amazing and energetic tour guide who has great pride in the city! We had tacos, tequila, and saw the city in ways we could have only done on bikes. We would highly recommend this company. They were efficient, the bikes were of great quality, safety is a priority, and again, Juan was incredible! He made sure we hit sunset at the exact time and location to see it at its best. I would highly recommend.
So we had to get a taxi because no body answered our email.. then the place of Address did not even exist.. so we never went on our tour.. we have been textn and emailing nobody is responding. We need some to contact us so we can a refund or atleast half. Very disappointing.. sincerely Mark&Victoria.915-383-1394 or 915-433-3283
Our tour guide, Juan, was awesome! We had a lot of fun touring through the hills of PVR and stopping at some very interesting lookouts. The taco places we visited were authentic Mexican. Nothing beats the food we had and the people operating these places were super friendly very willing to answer questions about their products. Highly recommend this tour
We had an amazing bike tour with Juan and Brian!! Ate yummy tacos and saw sight we would never have seen. We would recommend this.
Did the ebike tour with my son and one other person with Omar and Bryan and both were excellent guides and protector of traffic and bikes. Got a great view of downtown and with different varities of tacos.
Had a great time on the tour. Our guide Ivan was terrific and showed us numerous sites. The tacos were very good. Highly recommend. Only recommendation is to correct address for meet up point. The address given is across the street from where the tour actually is. Very confusing.
The e-bike taco tour was a lot of fun. Our guide, Ivan, was very engaging, knowledgeable and personable. The food at the 3 taco stops was excellent and authentic - just the way we like it! Participants had some free time to explore on the Malecon and an optional stop to view the cathedral was offered. Avery positive experience.
This e bike tour is a must if you are in Puerto Vallarta! The bikes themselves are super powerful and even have a throttle. Any it is fun to bike on the cobblestone streets. The taco places they took us to specialized in a specific types of tacos so it was fun try different varieties. Our guide was great about accommodating to our group. We did not drink so instead of taking us to the tequila tasting, we stopped by a churro stand. I would do this tour again if I could!
Hugo did an awesome job of showing us PV and helping with the E bikes. His tour contained the right amount of information and unbelievable taco stands
Hugo was a great guide and the tacos were delicious! E-bikes are a great way to see Puerto Vallarta and the three different taco variations give us a flavor of the city!
We enjoyed an amazing ebike ride with Alex as our guide. It was just my husband and me on the late afternoon tour. (We are in our 60's and 70's) I appreciated Alex finding me a bike that was the perfect fit. (I am pretty short.) Alex took us to so many places that we would never have been able to see on our own. He knew all the fun and scenic roads to travel, as we meandered our way through town. We stopped at 3 delicious taco venues, one awesome tequila tasting place, and many other of the places described for this tour. It did not disappoint! Thank you Alex!
Hugo and Brayan were amazing, tacos, the tequila, the jokes. Highly recommend, definitely an adventure on the E-bikes through the town.
Hugo and Brayan did an amazing job on the tour! Very nice, helpful, and accommodating! We had a large group, 17, people and they were awesome! Tacos were delicious and tequila was amazing! So much fun!
The bike taco tour was amazing and the staff Brian and Jeugo did an excellent job and made it fun, and took care of us the whole time. I will be back and doing this adventure again.
We had a really big group of people (more than 15), mixed ages.. Hugo is an EXCELLENT tour guide! We did not expect the tour to Bucerias and Tacos along the way to take all day, but it did.. and it was extremely hot! The food was fantastic along the route - (not one person felt ill or got ill for the rest of our 10 day trip). I would recommend some recent experience biking, if you are planning on going. There were 5 "accidents" by all ages. Balance and ability will be tested!
This is my first time with this company and I must say that both the quality of the bikes and the professionalism of the guys were at the top. The tour was fun, we were not rushed at all, we could stop to rest, get tacos, beers, visit local shops and much more. Definitely and strongly recommended!
Hugo and Omar took us around and it was The best experience!! Felt so safe great way to explore the city. Saw things that you wouldn’t see by car. The bikes are pedal assist, so you never have to worry about overexerting in the heat. Great lunch spot and highly Recommend
Our experience was wonderful. Our tour guide Hugo was the best and very knowledgeable, always make sure we were safe when biking through the streets. When I left an item behind at one of our stops, he was kind enough to go back and get it. each taco spot was amazing, every taco was flavorful. Recommend this place, it was a 10 out of 10
The tour was fantastic, Hugo is a great guide with what seemed like unlimited knowledge of the city. Tacos were excellent, even though a person in our group was a vegetarian Hugo made special arrangements for her to enjoy good food along the way. When we come back we will definitely book the mountain bike tour Hugo.
Our guide Hugo was great. He was very helpful with some of the group getting on and off the bikes when we stopped. Made the journey easy for everyone. Some of the bikes functions were not in great condition but was still manageable.
Our tour guide Hugo was really nice and friendly. Even though it was our first time riding e-bikes he took the time to make sure we were safe and having fun. Thanks Hugo!
This was a great tour! We saw and tasted things we never would have done on our own. A little challenging to find the place but if you ask the taxi to take you there you will find it.
We originally booked this as an E-bike tour. However, when we were practicing in the Soriana's parking lot, one of the pedals did its surge when I was trying to stop and dismount. Lost some skin off the back of my calf and decided that these contraptions were not for me. First-aid was prompt, and we asked if we could either get a refund or credit towards a different tour. We were offered the same tour in a van with A/C. On the day of the tour, we were met by guide and driver as promised. We had the four of us driving around the old part of town in a 15-passenger van. Props to our driver for getting that boat through some very tight spots. Our guide was full of information and knew quite a lot about the history of PV. Our tour would include three taquerias and some local attractions. We were able to accomplish it much quicker without the bikes. The first taco stop was Sonorita's where the specialty is tacos al pastor. Pork and pineapple roasted on a wood-fired tompo, or vertical grill, served on a white corn taco. There was the usual four sauce accompaniment of guacamole, spicy, freakin' hot and OMG it burns! I try to avoid the OMG, preferring a mix of the freakin' hot and guacamole. The tastiest of the three places we tried. Mexican tacos are piled with the goodies, too. The second stop was Memo's Grill for a couple of asada (steak) tacos. It's a street stand with some plastic chairs and tables for seating. The asadas were very tasty. Memo's also makes a mean quesadilla. The final stop was Tacos Gonzalez for some cabeza (cow's cheek) tacos. It looks like marinated pulled pork. Tasty in its own way. The seating area is a couple of planks and footstools. After trying out the taco offerings, we browsed a leather shop and climbed the old lighthouse viewpoint at Faro Matamoros, over in the Gringo Gulch area. After squeezing the van out of the narrow roads we asked for a drop off on The Malecon in order to enjoy our last sunset of the vacation. We had a very enjoyable time. Our guide was excellent. Highly recommended. But beware those E-bike contraptions.
We covered a lot of ground! Hugo, our guide, was very patient as he had to fix my bike chain when it came off a couple of times. We were fortunate to be biking with other friendly bikers. The group members were very supportive of one another. Tacos were delicious and gave us an opportunity to chat with each other. There wasn’t much history offered but we saw a lot of PV. Highly recommended for a different experience.
We did the ebike, taco, and tequila tour on our first day in PV, and not only was it a fantastic way to get a lay of the land—we were also immediately immersed in the food and friendliness of the locals. Hugo is a fantastic guide and also took tons of photos and videos for us. Since we were on a solo couples trip, we didn’t get a ton of pictures on this trip outside of selfies—thanks to copious snaps Hugo captured, we have some non-selfies!Knowledgeable, thoughtful, and kind—we had the best time on this tour with Hugo. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip! The tacos were absolutely delicious, and the tequila tasting educational and smooth as 100% blue agave. Will be recommending this tour to everyone! And it seemed like the other guides are great, too; we chatted with another guide who was doing the van tour, and he seemed equally as delightful. Admittedly, I wasn’t looking forward to the e-bike assist—seeing as we bike often at home, I didn’t think I’d need it. I definitely did! PV has some steep hills and uneven, stone cobbles. That e-assist was a life saver! Don’t sleep on this tasty taco tour!
Hugo was our tour guide. Had a great time! Tacos were great and bikes were fun tequila tasting was good and glad it was at the end lol :) would definitely Recommend this tour.
The sites and tacos were awesome! Although I like our tacos in Canada better, it was really cool to taste authentic food in old PV and see how they are made. The people here are warm and friendly … Hugo, Maurizo y Alexandro are all really informative and a lot of fun! It was also cool to taste the tequila that we wouldn’t have been able to get at home. The whole experience was totally worth every centavo!
If we could give this e-bike tour a 10 we would. The e-bikes were easy to operate and in great condition. Hugo knew the city well. Hugo took us to many spots in just the 3 hours we had and knew all the merchants everywhere we went. He was able to carefully guide us through the city traffic safely. Best of all he made it an exciting adventure with his amazing knowledge of the city, biking through narrow streets, hills and cobblestone roads, unexpected places w amazing views, great eating spots and he even helped take the photos. It truly was the highlight of our trip! Thank you Hugo & Las Veranos Tours 💯
Super experience! Great local tacos and juices sampled. Hugo our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. e-bikes were in great condition. Couldn’t have been better!
