This is such a great day out! The staff is so professional and friendly and made sure that all of us had an amazing time. We had the perfect amount of time at the Botanical gardens. The tequila tasting was fun and very imformative. The beach stop at Mismaloya beach was also delightful! Great food and then a trip out on the water to see Los Arcos and turtles! We chose not to snorkle, but could easily have. The entire day was well planned and executed! Thank you TEAM! you are awesome, and I will look forward to doing this each time I am in Puerta Vallarta!

Great job to the team!!! We travelled with elderly parents 80 and 75 with mobility issues (they usually walk with a cane slowly). The team took absolutely great care of all Of us. They had a guide car, fuel truck and mechanic in case someone broke down. Note you must be able to drive a standard. I drove my dad and my hubby drove with my mom! They guide you through traffic and take pics along the way!! We loved the entire experience Botanical gardens were gorgeous we wished we had just a little more time there. Tequila tasting was great! It is along a river! A few favs for sure! Nice to see the country side on the drive! The beach and dinner was also very good! Drinks were pricy at the restaurant on the beach. (They were not included with the meal or water. Just bring your own bottle of water). Then they take you snorkelling near los Arcos or you can sit on Mismaloya beach! Win win. I would whole heartedly recommend doing the sun buggy tour with these guys. Chrystian and Chino took us out in the buggies and we had the most brilliant of days. The journey out of Puerto Vallarta was great fun and we loved hearing the sounds of the jungle on our way to the botanical gardens. There was just enough time in the gardens to grab our welcome drink, make a toilet stop and have a small look around. The tequila factory was the next stop and the host there was great fun and we really enjoyed. Another short drive took us to Mismaloya with a walk to the beach cafe and some amazing lunch and then came the brilliant boat ride and snorkelling with tropical fish. This truly was the best experience we could have hoped for, our teenage daughters and us all enjoyed the whole day. I really hoped this would live up to all the amazing reviews and it really did. I would definitely do this again if we get the opportunity to return.

We booked this tour as our cruise excursion. Initially we were worried we would not be able to make it in time but Cristian and the rest of the team were very patient and accommodating. If you are stopping by Puerto Vallarta by cruise ship I highly recommend skipping the excursions sold by the cruise and book this one instead. You will skip the big crowds and I felt like I got way more than I what I paid for. We were offered drinks and waters to keep us cool from the beginning as we started our journey to see Los Arcos and do some roadside stall shopping. We then stopped by the Botanical Gardens and had time to walk around and enjoy the sights of nature. After that we were taken to a small tequila factory to do some tequila tasting and I highly enjoyed this even as someone that does not drink. The tour guides were ready to take our orders for lunch as we drove to the beach. Our lunches were ready by the time we arrived and after we were done we were taken on a boat to Los Arcos where we were given an opportunity to snorkel and enjoy the amazing sights and I wish I remembered to take my bathing suit. Along the way the tour guides took plenty of pictures of us and they will share them all with you after the tour. Probably the only warning I have is that the buggies are all stick shift and not automatic. A big thank you to the Sun Buggy group for the enjoyable experience and also for making Puerto Vallarta a place I will definitely return to in the future.

Amazing time with Fidel, and the crew! Rained a little on the ride back but it was still fun, whoever had the aux in our boat knows what’s up, Would do it again! Pictures are free of charge too!

What a fun and exciting way to explore the PV area! Highly recommended.. I thoroughly enjoyed driving around with the converted VW beetle with the open top. A bit of mental effort is required since driving manual transmission is required, but then that’s a big part of the fun! Involved were stops at scenic view points, tropical botanical gardens, tequila tasting, authentic Mexican lunch at the beach, boat trip to sea caves and snorkeling. A full day of activities. Our guide for the day, Christian, was extremely helpful and friendly.

We did this and LOVED!!! LOVED!!!! it. The staff is so friendly and even the ones that did the Tequilla tasting and the beach lunch was awesome. The Boat captain was very nice as well. The supplied us water and paper towels if needed for the humid weather. Even fresh popcorn upon departure. Enjoyed our time with them and would do again if ever in Puerto Vallarta again. Keep in mind that these vehicles that you drive is a manual transmission. Well worth the money.

We had a great time on our Sun Buggy Tour. The kids had a blast cruising in our buggy. The highlight of the trip was snorkeling at Los Arcos. All the staff was kind and generous to my family. They even had an employee follow us to take pictures. I would highly recommend this tour!

First, you cannot beat the price for what you get...a nice ride with jungle view on one side and ocean on the other. I was nervous to tackle the roads myself so our guide, Christian was our driver for a few more pesos. We went to the botanical gardens (a must see!), visited a tequila distillery for tastings, had a good lunch on the beach, then took a boat ride to Los Arcos where we snorkeled...ALL included! Our guide Christian was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We had a blast together! I also enjoyed this because it covered several things I wanted to do all in one day. The only negative would be the heat and humidity but that is what happens when you visit PV in July!

Can't think about what excursions to do in PV, book this and you will not regret it. Drive some very unique vehicles throughout the town and along the coast - Check, see some beautiful flowers and views at the Botanical Gardens - Check, see a local village and try some authentic Tequila - Check, go to a beautiful beach outside of town and snorkel at Los Arcos - Check. As a couple who has been to PV over 15 times, we have been to these places before but decided to show my mother some things and this was honestly the perfect excursion...Better than visiting these places for us, was the service provided by Christian, Fidel, and the rest of the team. Fidel will not be forgotten for his endless energy and kindness throughout the trip... Christian was beyond genuine and thoughtful in his approach to addressing the numerous needs of my mother :). From the arrival to the end, she mentioned how well it seemed the whole team worked together and how helpful they were every step of the way with my mother's lack of mobility or desire to find something else to do during the tequila tasting. I can't imagine how they can fit all of this in under the 5 hours that the time is posted for (ours was about 6.5), but it didn't seem long in the slightest. Just don't plan on doing something directly after the posted end time of 3pm :). Such a memorable opportunity, but honestly it is the people who helped run this trip that I probably will remember the most. Thank you so much Christian, Fidel, and the rest of the Sun Buggy Team!!!

After a week in Puerto Vallarta this will most certainly be one of the most memorable experiences we had. Christian, Fidel, and the entire team made certain this was a great excursion. Safety is their #1 priority and they are total professionals when it comes to ensuring it. Fun is a close 2nd and they certainly excel at that. We were the only family on the tour that day so it was a private experience. We became family with the staff by the end of the day and enjoying forming new relationships as much as anything. You’ll forever remember this experience just as we will.

We had a great time driving the sun buggies and seeing a part of Puerto Vallarta we wouldn’t have seen normally. One word of warning is that these are manual transmission vehicles. That wasn’t a problem for my husband but I would have been lost by myself. Chris our tour guide was great. Easy to follow. Great visit to the botanical garden. Lunch at the beach was nice. Then snorkeling from their private boat versus the beach was a great surprise. The entire crew was super friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Sun Buggy's is a must! The crew is friendly, attentive and fun! They take plenty of pics for you and send them to you at no extra cost. Each stop is unique but the cruise and scenery is the best. Highly recommend 10/10.

This was the highlight of our trip to PV! We went on our last day and got to see so many new things like the botanical gardens, a tequila tasting, and snorkeling at Los Arcos! We had a group of 7 in two buggies and the team took great care of us and ensured all our needs were met! A well run operation with a team of helpful and experienced guides!

This is a great tour. You go through town first and then head south. You end up at Botanical Gardens. A must visit here in PV. Then a tequila tasting followed by lunch on the beach in Mismaloya. After lunch snorkeling at Los Arcos. So much fun and worth the price. Highly recommended.

We have been coming to PV for years and have done all the excursions. This was hands down the best, most comprehensive and well organized. The buggies are great, easy to drive and the sound systems so you can play your own tunes as you drive up the coast is a plus ! The botanical gardens were a hidden gem, with a great restaurant, you get ample time to explore. The next stop is a quaint little town to visit a family tequila distillery and if you are lucky the horse Favorito will stop by, he’s an awesome horse one the ranchers rescued. After that you stop off at the beach for a legit lunch that they order for you ahead of time. It was a lunch menu with real options, after that you can hang out on the beach or head out to los arcos and see all the fish and do a quick scuba dive. You wrap it up with a great drive back into zona romantica. This entire tour was as advertised and nowhere along the way did they try and charge extras. It is an exceptional value for the price and you will explore parts of PV that weren’t even on your radar. Kids, wife and Dad would definitely do it again.

This excursion was unique and so much fun. The guides were pros at making sure that we were all safe and didn't get lost. The beach where we stopped to have lunch was delicious and they treated as like royalty. One other thing that I really liked was that the pictures were included in the excursion. We saw so much of the countryside and all the stops were awesome. It really is a must do excusion that is different from all the rest. My 17 year old could not drive, but she had just as much fun being a passanger/photographer. We will definitely do again when we come back. The owner Jeff was so friendly and generous. The trip was awesome. Cars were good as a 20 yr old standard buggy is. My buggy ran good. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The views on the drive from PV to Mismaloya were stunning. The trip to the botanical gardens was one in a lifetime. Not a plant guy but spent a good time taking pictures. Mostly for my green thumb daughter. all in all great day.

Professional company all the way around! They have thought of everything. The entire day was an adventure and well worth the cost. When the tour ended we went for a beer. We then tried to get a cab back to our resort in Bucerias. There was a protest happening on the main highway and nobody would take us. In panic mode we walked back to Sun Buggies place and a lovely young man came to our rescue. He found a cab that would take us! We are so grateful!

We've done many activities in Vallarta but this was the best! We saw the buggies on the street and decided to take the tour and it did not disappoint. I had always wanted to see the Botanical Gardens so it was a bonus to visit there while on this adventure. Jeff and the crew were awesome and it was very organized. We will definitely put this on our things to do when in Vallarta again. See you soon Jeff!

Really fun excursion handled by the owner Jeff and his great crew. Botanical garden stop had amazing food. Then we headed to Gusta Del Ray Tequileria which was informative and tasty. Lastly we drove down the hill towards Mismaloya beach for some eats and drinks. We went on the boat to Los Arcos where a few snorkled seeing an eagle ray and Angel fish. Highly recommend this excursion. Photos are free but you need a paid Dropbox. My complaints are minor. Not sure if it was just our red buggy but the radio wasn’t very loud with one speaker going off and on. Also I can drive manual but had problems with 1/2, they told me the tranny was new so it was probably just me.

This was a fantastic experience! The staff was amazing and very attentive. Such a fun way to see more of the area. The buggy's are a blast, with radios that will sync to your phones Bluetooth. We had such great time driving, exploring the gardens, and OMG the Tequila is soooo good!!!! We met the owner on this trip and I must say this man is a great guy with a good heart. I highly recommend this trip to anyone because it is AWESOME! PS: make sure someone in your party knows how to drive a manual.

This was a wonderful tour got to see the city by the car, but your need to drive stick. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. The drive out to the botanical gardens is great wish we could drive farther, the cars are fun to drive. Going to the tequila factory is great and then lunch was wonderful. The snorkeling just topped of the day. Would definitely recommend this trip if you like to have fun..if you don’t like fun then don’t come along….

Have been on many tours, excursions, etc. This was by far the best we've been on. Well organized, great communication, very good value for your money. You won't be disappointed.

What a great experience, there were 6 of us that took this tour and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff is super and take very good care of you. We were not ready for the tour to end. Driving up into the mountains was breathtaking and beautiful the included lunch was super tasty and a lot of food! The staff at the tequila tasting were funny and welcoming. I would highly recommend this tour. Of note all buggies are stick shift not automatic so need to know how to drive stick shift. Really loved this tour!!

My wife and I were on a week long Mexican Riviera cruise, and this was the best excursion we had, by far! Jeff and his staff made the day full and fun. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that likes to try new things and to have a good time.

It was a blast, Jeff and his gang look after you every inch of the way! Went to botanical gardens, tequila factory, snorkeling, lunch and back to PV. I would recommend this as a top excursion if you are in PV. I am back in PV in March and will be taking my son for n the tour, he will love it.

We had the best time on this adventure. The guys on the tour were fantastic and each stop was something fun and different. The botanical gardens were gorgeous, the tequila was delicious, and the boat ride was just perfect and very informative. An amazing experience from start to finish ! From the moment we arrived, the Sun Buggy staff were attentive and excellent. And when you start cruising in your Sun Buggy, you get a big smile on your face. The gardens, tequila tasting and beach activities were all top notch. You'll have a blast amigos !
