Our Captain and BartenderDJ were amazing! The water was a little to choppy to snorkel but that gave us more time to follow a family of whales a couple miles down the coast and that was awesome! The beach was really beautiful, the water felt great. The restaurant had good food and great drinks!

We were visiting for the day from our cruise ship. Fernando & Mixton created a great outing for our group of 6. We enjoyed touring the Puerto Vallarta shoreline, learning a little history about the area, snorkeling in Los Arcos (we even got to see a sea turtle), and relaxing for a few hours on a quiet beach. Fernando and Mixon did a wonderful job showing us around the shoreline. We got some good snorkeling in and had a fabulous lunch at Las Animas. There were not many people on the beach when we first got there. The service at the restaurant was great!

This was a fantastic boat trip! Fernando and Mitsen were both very friendly, helpful and informative! I would definitely recommend this trip if you want something private and looking to avoid the typical "booze cruise" with a bunch of drunken strangers.

This experience is an absolute must when traveling to Puerto Vallarta! Fernando and his son, also Fernando, were the most wonderful guides and made us feel right at home. My partner and I had such an incredible day cruising along the malecón, snorkeling at los arcos, and lounging/swimming along the beautiful waters of Las Animas beach. We also enjoyed lunch at El Coral where the service was fantastic. This was our favorite experience of our trip and we will absolutely be returning when we visit next! 14/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This was our second time on La Vida Bella and it was as perfect as the first one. This time we swam and snorkeled at Los Arcos and then went to Yelapa. We walked to the beautiful waterfall being let by Nixon, the first mate, and then had a relaxing lunch on the beach. The boat is extremely clean and the perfect size for 8 people. There is plenty of shade and as much sun as you want. We never lacked for a drink or snacks on the boat. I highly recommend La Vida Bella.

Best Day of our trip…were the words used by our 21 year old son to describe our excursion. I was impressed by the thorough description of our day which went exactly as described! Fernando is a complete professional—met us at the location, gave a knowledgeable tour of the shoreline, kept us on our schedule, even got us to the lunch spot just minutes before a huge group came in from one of the larger excursion tours. Definitely worth the price to go on a private outing! Nixon was a fan favorite as he kept our group of 7 well hydrated with plenty of adult beverages, led us on a snorkeling adventure, and escorted us on shore where he discreetly watched over us and then got us back for our festive return to the dock. He even literally ran down the street to hail us a cab to get back to our hotel!! We have been on larger vessels for private day long excursions in other places so I was a little concerned that our group might not be as “impressed”. I’m happy to report that they did not miss the extra space and the personal attention shown by the crew, along with the beautiful snorkeling area, which was inhabited by other tour groups but somehow felt private; made my son’s friend decide he should add this day to his bucket list so that he could promptly check it off!!

Fernando and his son were amazing hosts! They were very accommodating, always making sure we were enjoying ourselves and that we had whatever we needed. They also served us the BEST homemade guacamole we've ever had! We highly recommend booking a tour with La Vida Bella!

Fernando was a great host! He made us all feel very relaxed and the trip was incredible. The sight seeing was beautiful and I was terrified of snorkeling but he guided us well and I felt at ease and ended up loving it. Highly recommend this excursion!!

Our private boat tour was absolutely incredible - definitely the highlight of our trip! Fernando and his son were so welcoming and hospitable. We had a blast learning about the coast of Puerto Vallarta, snorkeling, eating at the beautiful private beach that you can only get to by boat, and sight-seeing on the boat itself! Book it!!!! The Fernandos gave my girlfriend and I the most amazing experience. We got engaged on the boat and Fernando made sure it was in a beautiful spot along a private beach, and recorded the whole thing. We saw sea turtles, dolphins, and so many fish!! I was very nervous to snorkel and swim in open water but Fernando made us both feel so safe and comfortable even when not on the boat. Unforgettable experience. They went above and beyond with margaritas, shots, and guacamole. The boat is spacious and comfortable and Fernando is great at finding sea life. Would recommend 100000/10

Our private boat tour was a highlight of my first trip to PV. I booked in 2020, but had to cancel due to COVID. Ashley saved my deposit and communicated regularly until I was able to reschedule. We had 5 girls total and were comfortable on the boat. Fernando made us feel safe, secure and catered to our needs. It was a great way to tour the bay and view real estate and private beaches.

What an amazing day on La Vida Bella touring the south shore of Puerto Vallarta, los Arcos, Mismoloya, and Las Animas. Fernando the captain snd his son were amazing. They were very knowledgeable about the area, the fish and birds. They spotted 2 Manta Rays that were about 15 feet each that kept playing around the boat and dolphins that also put on a show for us. Fernando and his son could not have been nicer and they kept our glasses full! They videoed the Manta Rays for us and sent it to us! Lunch was delicious at Las Animas as well. We have taken many boat tours over the years in PV and I have to say this was the absolute best one ever!

Captain Fernando is awesome! Very skilled and knowledgeable about Puerto Vallarta. You feel completely safe and pampered while on the boat. The one thing I love about Fernando is that he is 100% about providing the best customer service! He is punctual, rates are very reasonable, and you also get a snack and drinks included. By far the best deal in PV, and Fernando and his family will make you feel welcomed and special. Boat was clean and safety protocols were in place. We have two excursions with Fernando, and honestly we will never use anyone else for our boating excursions.

Had a great time with Fernando and his son! I would recommend this tour with your family as you get to see the different parts of PV from the coast, and you also get to swim/snorkel at los arcos while spending time at the secluded beach. Boat was very comfortable and easily accommodated our family of 7 adults and 2 kids. The drinks were awesome as well, Fernando went out of his way to always ensure everyone was comfortable and had a beverage in hand!

Our family of four had a wonderful day with Fernando 1 & 2 (father/son). Seeing the Malecon from the boat was a different view. Snorkeling at Los Arcos was phenomenal. Pristine water, schools of different fish. I brought my son (age 8) back to the boat and Fernando put me at ease watching over him while my husband and I got to focus more on snorkeling. We weren't on a schedule, so we could snorkel as long as we wanted while the other larger tour boats came and went. Delicious guac and chips were served alongside drinks while we headed towards Las Animas where we spend the bulk of our time. The Fernando's were constantly attentive to ensure our glasses were never emptied. We hunkered down at a restaurant and ordered drinks while watching pelicans dive-bomb for fish. Note....bring your sunscreen and LOTS of pesos/cash if you want to take advantage of the activities there at heavily discounted prices. The highlight for the kids was horeseback riding (so inexpensive there at $200 pesos/person) for an almost 30 min ride. There was para-sailing, jet skis, banana boats all there for hire. I was going to do a massage, but ran out of time. My husband had fresh oysters (6 for $150 peso) and said they were super delish). Headed back for the ride home with endless drinks. Note: there are no bathrooms close by once you disembark, so be aware how much you drink! It was a great day, hosted by a great crew in a relaxing environment paced exactly how we wanted it to be! Would highly recommend!!!

Best boat trip! The Ferandos were awesome! Along the beautiful coast they showed us whales , manta rays and blue footed boobies! Very flexible as we extended our trip by 1 hour- no problemo-highly recommend for affordable enjoyable private afternoon on the ocean👍🏼

Fernando and his assistant were so wonderful! They anticipated any need we had before we even realized. Drinks and snacks were abundant. Fernando was so informative about the area. We saw dolphins, many fish and a jumping manta ray! We highly recommend touring with Fernando and will be back soon for another fabulous day on the boat!

We accidentally booked the week after our stay, and they were able to fit us in. Super friendly, great informative tour. Helpful with the kids for our first time snorkeling. Great margaritas and snacks provided all day. Adjusted the tour to suit our preference. Would recommend to anyone. Boat was basic, but comfortable. We had just the four of us, including two kids 9&10 yrs old, and had plenty of room.

Had a great time, the captain and owner Fernando did a great job, laid back pace and adjusted the normal tour because we wanted to see some whales, and we got lucky to find some. Highly recommend, we will use his services again.

Fernando and his first mate Julio are truly one of a kind. They took such good care of our family from making unbelievably delicious drinks to always watching out for safety and comfort it was amazing. Fernando even found us 2 whales to see which is a fabulous bonus. His boat is very comfortable and clean and we thoroughly enjoyed the snorkeling and lunch at Las Animas beach. My entire family would highly encourage anyone who likes to be catered to and feel special to hire Fernando for a great day in the ocean.

This was an excellent tour with Fernando and Julio. Fernando and his wife (who handles the booking and other details) both speak excellent English. The boat was clean and comfortable for our family of 7 and they customized the outing to fit the needs of all ages. (Adults, teens, and 8-10 yo). They took us to a couple of beaches, a smaller one with snorkeling and a larger one with a restaurant (with delicious food - try the mahi mahi tacos! - that is included in the tour) and opportunities for our kids to para-sail and do other fun water activities. I probably wouldn't recommend this trip to people who have a hard time getting in and out of a boat although I am sure Fernando would be as accommodating as possible. They can pick you up and drop you off right at the cruise pier, just a 5 min walk around the harbor from where you get off the ship, but you need to call and make those arrangements so that Fernando can be cleared to do so.

Feeling a bit apprehensive because first booked anything like this, but what a fantastic day. Arrived had requested point & the boat was ready for us. Saw dolphins & turtles absolutely brill. Sailed around the coast, snorkelled in a lovely area & sore loads of fish. We were given snorkel equipment & life jackets all included in the price. We took our own food so we were taken to a beautiful deserted beach for a couple of hours it was paradise. All day the drinks were available, as much as you wanted. Fernandez & Julio were fantastic, they looked after us & nothing was too much trouble.

My family absolutely loved our experience on this tour. Fernando and Julio were outstanding hosts. Friendly, informative, and attentive. Julio snorkelled with my husband and children and guided them to see schools of fish. (And he makes a fantastic margarita, too!). They met us at the marina, and we instantly felt very comfortable with them. They got us to Los Arcos early before all of the other boats and tours were there. And we left a little early to beat the rush to the secluded beach where we stopped to relax and eat lunch. We did not want to be on a big, flashy boat with tons of loud, obnoxious strangers. We felt this private tour was more our "speed". Worth every cent we paid. I highly recommend this tour. If you want more of a party boat atmosphere, I'd go with one of the larger boats with larger groups of people. But this is definitely perfect for families, or couples. We had an amazing time.

We visited Puerto Vallarta while on a cruise. Fernando and Julio were great to point out all the interesting things along the coast as we cruised along the shoreline. We arranged for them to meet us at the harbor master's building which is literally right next to where the cruise ship dropped us off. We appreciated the drinks they offered on board the boat. They were very knowledgeable about the area. Our entire family agreed that this was a highlight of the entire cruise! Thank you Fernando and Julio for making our stay in Puerto Vallarta such a memorable experience!

I was a bit worried about booking a boat trip but this was our favorite part of the trip. Fernando was so nice and pointed out things along the way. Our sailor (can't remember his name) was amazing too. He served delicious margaritas and took us snorkeling. We we're also worried about getting sea sick but Fernando is an expert and we were all fine. There were 6 of us and it was perfect. I'd highly recommend this adventure to anyone!

When my daughter suggested booking the La Vida Bella Boat tour, I have to admit I was skeptical. But the reviews were good, so we booked it. What a great decision. I can not say enough about how wonderful the day was. It was so nice to have the boat to ourselves. (Family of 6). Fernando the owner and his 1st hand also named Fernando were so nice, catering to our every needs. There was no shortage of delicious margaritas that everyone enjoyed. I would definitely recommend booking this tour if you are looking for a fun day on the water.

Both Fernandos were amazing! They sure know how to offer great customer service! We were able to see the beautiful coastline, snorkle, & we had lunch at a lovely beach. The drinks never stopped while on the boat! We ended the experience with seeing a pod of dolphins swiming all around our boat! Incredible! Highly recommend it!

Fernando 1 and 2 were awesome, service was great - endless beer, margaritas and water, plus snacks the entire boat ride. They took us to see whales they spotted, and GREAT snorkeling! The restaurant area they dropped us off was really nice and enjoyable. They were totally accommodating to our needs. We had a party of six and could not have had more fun or been more pleased! Can't say enough about the trip/service!

I have taken a few different boat tours in the PV area and this was hands down the best one. Fernando and Fernando were amazing! They were so friendly and informative and the drinks were plentiful and delicious! We loved having the boat all to ourselves which allowed us to have some really great family time. On my next vacation to PV I will definitely be booking with them again.
