Here we will safely take you to the back streets of Puerto Vallarta and through the outlying villages to experiences some of the most beautiful scenery and friendly people During your ride through the Sierra Madre we’ll stop twice, 1st stop for a quick refreshment at a Cantina and the last stop at riverside restaurant where you can delight yourself with delicious Mexican dishes or refreshments before making your return to home base.
This is hands down the best tour! The guides are wonderful! I think this is the 5th tour I have taken with them! (2x this trip alone!). It’s a fun route, beautiful views, and you get to enjoy tequila and delicious food! I couldn’t recommend enough. Can’t wait to get back to PV so I can go again!

We had a great experience. ATVs were a great way to get up into the hills and see some amazing vistas we never would have gotten to otherwise. The stops at a family owned tequila bar and riverside restaurant excellent. Angel and Jonathan were very professional and did a great job orienting us to the ATVs and as leading our tour. This is an awesome way to spend an afternoon in PV!
We had such an amazing time! We were the only ones to book today so we ended up having a private tour and tequila tasting. Views were amazing and the free photos and videos of the trip were such a plus! Everything was very easy.
We had a great time with Angel, our guide! Since it was hurricane season, there weren’t a lot of tourists so our small group felt almost like a private tour. The Sierra Madre was beautiful and every bump and turn on the ATV was so much fun! We also loved that Estigo is located in the 5 de deciembre neighborhood so it was easy to get to and allowed us the opportunity to ride down a portion of the Malecon. After riding down the mountain, we stopped for a delicious lunch at Cocina Del Cuale where we had amazing tacos along the Rio Cuale. You have to pay for your own food and drinks but it was reasonably priced, the food was delicious, and the owner Octavio was the nicest! Great experience overall! Frankie explained the process of how his family makes the tequilas and was so welcoming and made us feel at home. We brought 4 tequila bottles home. Definitely was one of the best excursions we did during our trip. Everyone was so welcoming and made sure we were comfortable and having the best time. I definitely recommend Estigo tours! This was such a fun activity during our cruise port call in Puerto Vallarta. In December we took a Mexican cruise to celebrate my 70th birthday and this was our favorite activity off the ship. I'm a little late posting this review!! I appreciated having the crew explain how to operate the ATV, safety advice, and how they followed along with the riders making sure we were all OK and taking photos & videos. The ATVs were well-maintained and in good working order. We had no breakdowns or operational issues among our tour group. We enjoyed the views and the stops along the way where we got to try making tortillas, and having a snack by the cool creek. We also stopped for a tequila tasting, which was informative and fun. The tour started at the Estigo facility in town and we were escorted out of town by the Estigo guides. It's a bit bumpy riding in town on cobblestone roads, but as soon as we were out of town it was smooth riding. We did a morning tour, so I struggled with sunlight in my eyes, which proved to be a bit concerning when rounding corners as we headed up the hills leaving town. I admit to white-knuckling the early part of the ride. Once we were in the foothills, I was able to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I booked this tour on my own through the Estigo website, which made it a much better value than one of the cruise ship excursions. We also had a smaller group and just took a cab from the cruise port to Estigo's faculty. I definitely recommend Estigo if you are looking for a fun activity when visiting Puerto Vallarta! What a bargain at $210 for both of us!
We had so much fun! Be ready for an adrenaline rush. Our tour guides made us feel so safe and were full of energy. They were professional and still kept it fun. Highly recommend and we will for sure be booking again.

So much fun, we were so happy with the tour guides. The views were amazing, drove a bit on cobblestone and then straight up the mountain. I liked that I wasn’t pressured at the tequila tasting to try or buy anything. The restaurant we stopped at has delicious food, and I got a quick lesson on tortilla making! The bonus was all the pics and videos I got after the tour. 10/10 thanks to the boys for making it an amazing experience.

That was a great ATV ride. Paved roads, cobblestone and dirt roads. Fun and fast. The comment is the speed was too fast to see much of the scenery 😮. There were a couple stools breaks that there good and interesting.
Very fun tour. A bit rougher road than other ATV tours I have done, just something to know, but it wasn't too much, it was adventurous. People were very nice, helpful, and informative. You get free pics and videos, which is great. Tequila stop was fun, and restaurant by the river (Mis Raices) was super good. Had the ceviche and the price was more than fair, big portion and super delicious. Would highly recommend this tour.
it was good fun but was all on the road. I was expecting it to be mostly off-road, through trails in the woods. There were some nice sights, and the tequila tasting was great as was the lunch. Just wasnt what I expected exactly. It was the dry season so was very dusty - nobody's fault of course but just setting expectations for others.
The ride was fun! A great way to see some of the older parts of the city and some awesome scenery up into the mountains! The guides were kind, informative, and fun! The restaurant stop had delicious food at a great price.

No regrets!! I was looking forward to this adventure and it was everything I had hoped for. The tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. The pre-trip instructions and guidance were easy to understand. The machine that I was given to operate was perfect for the selected tour. The area that we visited was beautiful and full of amazing scenery. The rest stops were well timed and had a great variety of delicious foods and drinks. I will most definitely choose this tour again with more of my friends and family!

Excellent day of adventure! Our 2 guides were easy going yet very concerned and aware for our safety. I didn't have my helmet Secured and it was noticed as we were riding along and the whole group was stopped to secure it! Beautiful views, loved the river side stop for drinks and the BEST homemade guacamole and chips! Time allotment was just right! We will go again!
Brilliant! One of the best ways to spend an afternoon. Gets you off the beach and into the hills for great views, artisan tequilas, and village barbacoa. None of your senses will be left untouched. ATVs were great. Guides were great. Experience was one that my son and I will cherish for years to come.

Right from the start to finish it was amazing Riding quads thru the back roads up to the mountains was a great way to see the city. Tasting tequila from recipes handed down from generations was special. Make sure you come hungry. The food was the best on my whole trip. Everybody was so friendly. If you only do 1 tour make sure this is the one

Fantastic experience for a family with teenage boys. Guides were friendly, professional, well trained and spoke great English. We felt very safe driving through the city portion of the tour. Equipment was easy to use and well maintained. The city to mountain top was a unique experience and gave the variety of Puerto Vallarta. The lunch stop at a local restaurant alongside the river was a beautiful hidden treasure. They even showed us how to make tortillas. Second half of the trip was even better thanks to the Tequila tasting stop at a local distillery. You won’t regret riding with fabulous outfit!

You’ll get your money’s worth on this tour. It’s a lot of riding on challenging terrain. You get an amazing view from the top of the mountain. The guys running the tour are professional and trustworthy. They make sure you’re safe and the equipment is sound. There is a tequila tasting along the way if you’re into that (I found it unnecessary as did the rest of the group in the tour).
The tour was great! The guides made our small group of seasoned riders and newbies alike feel comfortable and confident with the machines and the terrain. The ride through the town was definitely a unique experience. Awesome views once we hit the park! The whole experience was very satisfying! It took about 3 hours between riding around, stopping for a mountain top tequilla tasting, and a wonderful meal at a very authentic and cozy river-side restaurant. Very much worth the price!
Hands-down one of my favorite excursions ever! The duration of the trip, the views, the guides, the stops, & the photos/videos (included), you won’t find a better price or experience. We typically go on 2-3 cruises a year and several excursions—this was 100% the most fun, value-for-money, friendly activity we’ve done. 15/10 Stars (ha!)
