Outstanding educational experience with a magical sunset, turtle release ceremony! It was a very bumpy cab ride to the beach drop off and a warm beach walk to the release site.

I would say that this experience or tour is a tour for a cause which is to help save the turtles. The meeting point is by the beach and I would say secluded from anything because there is no way you can find a ride if you do not have a working phone. So glad our taxi driver waited for us which cost us $40 for a 10-15 ride from Majico shopping center. The place where they held the talk abt the turtles is not what you expect since there’s not even walls but the place or chair is clean but there are mosquitoes. Anyways Armando is our tour guide who spoke in a very clear English. He is also very nice. He is a part of the group that patrols the beach. He was the one who carried our cold jug of water. Anyways , the experience of letting go of the turtles was really nice. There is a photographer who took pictures that you have to pay extra for but I just think of it as an expense for souvenir which was $25.

This was a great experience both fun and learning about the local ecosystem in Puerto Vallarta area. I loved the enthusiasm of the volunteers for the organization. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

The turtle release did not happen due to weather. We will try to get our money $162.38 USD back. Viator charged my credit card anyway.

The guide didn't show up to release the turtles!!! Don’t know why as not sent an email explaining why we waited in vane. Got there 40 mins early for the 4:55 pm start and waited until 5:20 pm. Disgraceful. Out $400 for the taxi and hope I get a refund on the tickets! Carole V.

Our guide was kind and knowledgeable. The talk was very educational and we learned a lot about sea turtle preservation. Releasing the baby sea turtles was the most rewarding experience during our stay in puerto Vallarta.

Eddie was awesome, super informative. It was really exciting releasing the turtles, and they let our kids release 2 each. Very highly recommend, great experience. Parking was easy and right at the meet up location. Do use the restroom ahead of time and use bug spray.

This was a really cool experience! The biologist was very knowledgeable and taught us about turtles. They were so cute! I recommend this tour!

The turtle release was amazing. You learned a little bit about the turtles, them hatching, the different breeds of turtles. You can even name your turtle and watch it swim into the beach water. The hosts Eddie and Toni were great. But the humidity kicked our butts. So stay hydrated! Definitely recommend!

My family & I had a wonderful experience on this tour in August. We Uber’d there. Some rain cooled us down and drove away mosquitoes. Eddie was an excellent bilingual guide who stayed with us from beginning to end. He pointed out some crocodiles in the mangrove. His sea turtle presentation was informative & interesting. (Danna took great photos for us. Digital photos cost extra.) We were given half a coconut shell with a cute baby sea turtle, and then we released them at the beach. We cheered them on as all of them made it out to the ocean. I appreciate the staffs’ dedication to turtle conservation. We enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it.

We loved our experience especially learning about the sea turtles beforehand - it added significance to the release knowing the dangers these little turtles face the moment they are are laid in their nest on the beach. Not going to lie, made me a little emotional seeing the little guys scuttle toward the crashing waves to start their lives. Eddie, our guide was great! We stopped by a mangrove-y area on our way to the turtle habitat to see some crocodiles. But we were quite a good distance away and just steps from the beach, so we never felt like we were in danger! He also waited for the whole group to get their uber/taxis when the day was over - we appreciated that extra layer of cautiousness!

I was ill and not able to go. Because I was ill I was also worried about all of the warnings about mosquitoes and was not aware of that in advance.

We had a fantastic time. Our group lead, Eddie, was knowledgeable and interactive wirh the group. The turtles were, as expected, incredibly cute! I was pleased to see the protocols in place to protect the turtles the whole way through. As a bonus, we also got to observe crocodiles relating in a mangrove area that we walked by to the turtle release site. If we ever come back to the area, we would do this again. We also had the option to buy photos that another staff member takes throughout the experience, which we got. It's nice to have some photos of the whole group and live in the moment rather than trying to snap photos ourselves.

Eddie and his team were excellent! We were well prepared in advance via text communication as to what to expect. Prior to releasing the baby turtles we were given a detailed and interesting educational presentation. This was just as important if not more than just letting the turtles make their way into the water. I would highly recommend this event and support the work this organization is doing

I love turtles and doing this release of baby turtles on my birthday is an amazing experience. I hope more people can do this tour to educate ourselves about turtle conservation in PV.

I’ve always wanted to do this and it was amazing! My 11 and 14yo also loved it. A great experience and a way to be part of a great cause! This tour was filled with goodness. We received an education about sea turtles and then we got to release them to their home that’ll be for 15 years before they come back up. Everything was just great. Our tour guide Eddie was full of energy and funny.

Eddie was a great and very informative. I highly recommend doing this activity. To get that close to the babies and help them get back into nature safely is something not many people can say they get to do. My daughter had a magical experience releasing the babies. You really do learn alot by the informative session they give at the beginning. Its so important what Eddie and his team are doing. If you get the chance to see the baby turtles released into the ocean I would jump in the chance!

We had Eddie as our guide and he was wonderful. You can tell he really enjoys what he is doing and cares about providing education to everyone joining his tour. He was just lovely- and Diego, the photographer along, was funny and kind as well. My wife and I enjoyed this activity a lot- it was interesting, calming, educational, and we had a blast.

We showed up prior to the time of our booking and there was no one there. Was not able to reach anyone, so had to contact Viator. It wasn't until the day after that the tour operator contacted us that there's no turtle hatchlings. It seems like they are really bad with communication. Such a waste of time and money since we had to pay for roundtrip Uber and a whole day to be in the area since we were not staying nearby. Thankfully, did get a refund, but would not rebook at all.

We met on a beach and walked a short way to the turtle camp. We learned about the sea turtles in Mexico then release the baby sea turtles at sunset. The tour guide was amazing and informative. The baby turtles were so cute. Highly recommend!

Shade and seats are provided. A knowledgeable bilingual speaker provided a great presentation. It was a fun experience.

Went with my spouse and child (8yrs), drop off and pick up site was a bit remote but the company gave really great instructions. Although a short walk to and from the turtle camp it was a bit tiresome in the heat and dry sand. Tour guide Eddie was awesome and very helpful and made us feel safe. Found the tour very informative and it was overall such a memorable experience!
