Puerto Vallarta: Private Luxury Yacht Sunset Cruise With Open Bar

We had a beautiful evening cruise on the yacht and the crew was just great! The Chef made beautiful chartcuterie, Asian rolls, and other delicious small bites. The bartender poured great strong drinks throughout the evening. We could not have been more pleased with our trip.

Took our adult children on Escandalo - we had 3 amazing crew members who were so friendly, helpful, and genuinely concerned with us all having an amazing time. The trip was customized for us, and included a 4-hour sunset cruise to Los Arcos, including beverages, appetizers, sandwiches, and ceviche. The kids snorkeled and "played" on the floating lily pad (yes, they are in their 30s and still like to play!) We will definitely use Vallarta Yacht Rentals again and will request the same crew (Ernesto, Nico, and Captain Jairo). Do not hesitate - book it!

Captain Eido, Chef Nicco, and our host Ernesto this family trip special. There were 7 of us, including my mom who is 91! Every step of the way they made my mom feel safe, and a valued part of the trip. The weather was inclement to sail the southern beaches, so Captain Eido pivoted, sailed north to see whales! We saw a great whale show, thank you Captain! The food was lovely, thank you Nicco! Ernesto, "Nesto", was a wonderful host, and really made the trip special for my mom & my family!. Overall, a very special event that was enjoyed by my entire family!

We had a wonderful sunset cruise with Vallarta Yacht Rentals and highly recommend them to everyone we talk to. The communication from GM Phil was excellent and told us everything we needed to know before our sail. The wonderful crew, Nico, Jairo and Luis, took great care of us while on board and the food and beverage service was delicious and plentiful. Their route went all the way out to Los Arcos and we saw whales, sea turtles and even blue-footed boobies! Experiencing PV from the water is a must-do and the nights are especially magical with the twinkling lights and reflections. This cruise is intimate (max 16 people) with lots of comfortable seating to take in the sights while on the boat. You won't be disappointed!

Ernesto, Nico, and the Captain were all amazing host! Ernesto is very knowledgeable and friendly and was making sure we had the best experience the whole time. Nico was very fast to get drinks and provide what we wanted while with them! Thank you for a wonderful sunset cruise and we are so happy we saw Whales!!

Excellent activity. We loved the privacy of having the boat to ourselves, and the entire experience was five star. Before we began, we had great communications from Vallarta Yacht Rentals on what to expect, what to bring and how to find them. We arrived at the time requested, and we were actually able to leave slightly before our designated time. Our crew of Ernesto, Niko and Jairo were very friendly, and they knew exactly where to take us for the best sunset views and photo opportunities. The appetizers were tasty, and we actually had three rounds of them, not just one. The drinks kept flowing from the bar, and the drinks were well made. We highly recommend this tour!

Could not have asked for a better sunset cruise. The Yacht was top notch and the crew was very attentive. Philip and his wonderful team created a great evening filled with amazing drinks and light bites. We also were able to take advantage of some great photo opportunities and were given a folder to download a number of great pictures taken on the trip. I highly recommend this cruise. We specifically took the LGBT sunset cruise and met a great group of guys to enjoy the cruise with! We will be back for sure!

My husband and I were looking for a nice relaxing sunset cruise, and these guys delivered on this way past our best expectations! The boat was beautiful and not crowded. You have many options onboard on where to view your beautiful sunset (inside in A/C, outside covered areas or uncovered in the comfy lounge spaces). We had plenty of room to move about the yacht. The vibe is chill with excellent music that complements the experience. The food was wonderful and they offer a large selection of beverages onboard. The crew keeps the snacks flowing and your glass full at all times. Everyone on board was so kind and we met some wonderful people on our trip! All the crew truly went above and beyond to deliver an excellent experience. The sunset in the bay was beautiful and it was so nice to see Vallarta from the boat at night. You simply can’t help but relax on this amazing trip! We are already making plans to come back again with friends!

We had a great experience with Phillip and the crew despite some mediocre weather. They were attentive and the food and beverage service was excellent. Highly recommend for large groups and great service. The boat was very well kept and clean. No complaints!

My family of 11 booked this tour and we had a lot of fun. We got to see Los arcos national park up close and the guides were nice and informative. It was nice to have a private tour just for the family.

We had a wonderful sunset cruise. We even got to see several whales and their offspring. Crew was delightful and owner was amazing as we needed to move our cruise around due to illness.

I will keep this short. The captain and crew know the area. Know the marine life. They ensure that every moment is about the people you bring on the boat so the drinks flow and they make sure everyone is having a good time and safe. I looked at dozens of different options to get out on the bay and these guys are the best.

What a fabulous sunset cruise! Moments after booking the excursion-the Captain reached out to setup the experience from departure pt., cocktail & food preferences, etc. What really stood out is how immaculate the vessel is – from the fly bridge to below deck/lavatory. It passes the white-glove test hands down. The captain and crew exceeded all our expectations – we enjoyed the entire experience tremendously – cocktails, charcuterie board and the sun-set . If you have any reservations concerning Captain Philip / Escandalo – DON’T. Book now or you may fail to get the date and time you were hoping for. Thank you.

First off, the boat was immaculate and well maintained. I was not entirely sure what to expect from a “luxury yacht” in PV, but I can tell you the owner of the yacht understands exactly what that should mean, and delivered. On our sunset charter we were lucky enough to have the owner, whom I jokingly referred to as the Admiral, as well as the Captain and First Mate. Everyone was attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful from the minute we arrived to our last moment on the dock. They also knew how to deliver the most amazing views and photos you could ever ask for. Cost: We had 4 of us in our group, so we definitely felt like we had a private boat. I did some looking at the cost and found that if you brought about 8 people, this yacht charter would have been the same price at the “cattle boat” charters. They told us we could have up to 12, and I do not believe even with that many you would ever feel cramped. Tour: The crew took us on a relaxing and extremely beautiful tour of the bay, always keeping it smooth and steady. We had a couple of people in our party that are prone to motion sickness, and were concerned about that, but again the crew kept it calm and no one had any issues. Boat: Very nice and immaculately kept 48 foot SeaRay Sedan Bridge. Plenty of room to spread out. Easy to use and spotlessly clean restrooms. They had a great music selection (we could have optioned to play our own music on the boats Bluetooth, but did not do so). The bow was spacious with comfortable cushions and seating, along with easy to use railing. Sneaks/drinks We were served a nice selection of snacks, and treated to premium liquor drinks, (Grey Goose for example) and our cups were never allowed to go empty. Future: We plan on chartering again for snorkeling and whale watching.

Everything far surpassed our expectations! The 3 hour tour, the food, the wonderful drinks, and most of all the marvelous captain Carlos and mate Victor. Fabulous investment. Many family members said “Best experience ever!” If I could give six stars I would.

One of the best experiences in Puerto Vallarta hands down. Felipe, Captain Carlo, and Victor were incredible the attention to detail was like no other, my cocktail was never empty, and the food served on board was delicious. We did a private tour up the coast first docking at la Cruz where we got to do some shopping and grabbed lunched at farmers market located conveniently on the marina. We then sailed to a private cove where we got to enjoy all the water toys, including snorkeling, paddle boarding, and kayaking for several hours. We finished the day with a ride back to the port but first stopped to enjoy the beautiful sunset where we got to see whales, dolphins and rays jumping and playing in the water. What an unforgettable experience. 10/10

Just WOW. Such an amazing Day. Felipe, Captain Carlos and Victor are the BEST. We did a private charter and had such a great experience. Felipe, Captain Charles and Victor were very accommodating. The Yacht was clean, had WIFI, and had great food and drinks. We anchored in a private cove and enjoyed all the water toys. We spotted multiple whales playing in the ocean and saw rays jumping out of the water. You will not be disappointed.

All that we can ALL say was... WOW! 12 of us enjoyed a 70th birthday w/ a 3-hour cruise that will be forever remembered. Even the whales had fun as they were everywhere! Felipe did a fabulous job piloting the yacht, smiling, courteous… He greeted us at the dock, escorted us to the yacht, were handed glasses of Prosecco, and explained the safety rules. We were introduced to Carlos & Victor, 2 young men who catered to our every need. Victor remained down below prepping drinks and charcuterie platters while Carlos ran about. He was efficient, loads of fun, big smiles…. The yacht was beautiful. Many of us have spent many hours on the water in diff parts of the world and everyone said that it was the nicest boat they had ever been on. It was clean, clean, clean, and equipped with 2 heads, plenty of comfy seating up top, inside, at the stern, and on the bow with comfy cushions. The captain (Felipe) accommodated our timing very precisely. We had a dinner reservation following the cruise and we disembarked on the dot! He communicated very well prior to the excursion. We discussed the route that we would take - out of the marina, north towards NV, back towards Los Arcos, and then a cruise back along the south shore of Banderas Bay where we admired the sunset, and then along the shores of downtown PV where we admired the lights at dusk and then back to the marina which, by the way, is also very beautiful in the evening. Graçias, Felipe, Carlos, Victor! You are a top-notch, classy act!

Highly recommend chartering the Escandalo. We had a fantastic experience and made great memories as we .sailed around the Bay of Banderas. The Yacht made the day, so enjoyable and our group was able to have fun, laughs and relax a bit as well. The boat has lots of room for friends to gather. The crew was exceptional and made you feel very welcome - as if it was your own yacht. I highly recommend chartering this boat for a day you won't forget. Explore Banderas Bay and all it has to offer. Whales, Beach Clubs, and just one great time.

What a wonderful day on the bay on this cruise. The captain and crew are amazing. Capt Carlos has great knowledge regarding the whales we encountered while cruising. Wonderful to talk to, and wants everyone to enjoy themselves while aboard. Victor is very attentive, polite and makes great drinks! I highly recommend them for an awesome day. This was our 4th trip with the Escandalo ! A must do, whether you are visiting or live here in the PV area !

A few of our friends chartered this yacht for a birthday! We had a great experience! They truly thought of everything. Cocktails were flowing, the captain was great and also very accommodating. They were very responsive to all our questions prior to departure. We went snorkeling and stopped at this little island it was a nice surprise! We will be back!!
