Puerto Vallarta: Majahuitas Snorkeling, Ziplining, And Water Tubing

Had the most incredible time myself, husband my dad kid and some friends from Canada Auturo and team gave us an eventful day and an experience we’ll never forget up close and personal with the fish. The tubing was incredible couldn’t have asked for a better outing we’ll definitely do this time and time again!! Highly recommend

They found shells for us and fed the fish making all them come to us. I highly recommend this excursion. Especially with the price. We had the greatest time with Alberto on our tour! I’ve snorkeled all around Latin America and the Caribbean and this was the most fish I’ve seen as well as the most variety. Definitely recommend! The zip line was a work out but very fun. I can’t say enough great things about Alberto!

Arturo was amazing! From meeting at the pick-up to snorkeling and the adventure park, we had such a great day out on the water! Arturo took amazing photos of us while swimming w/ the beautiful sea life and while trying to complete the adventure course! It was nice to have memories to look back on and not have to worry about who would capture the moment! Come prepared! You'll need to bring your own towel to dry off, sunblock AND bug spray, and PLENTY of water to stay hydrated. Overall, this experience was well worth the long day. I will definitly be back on my next trip to PV.

There was a perfect amount of time at each stop. The beaches are so gorgeous - truly stunning - and the stop for snorkelling is so serene - pure bliss . You really get to enjoy the scenery from the boat taxis - they were a great experience in themselves! The ziplining was also so much fun. The restaurant recommendation was very delicious, probably the tastiest and freshest fish I've ever had. Thank you very much to Arturo and the team for such an amazing tour!!!

Recommended. The snorkeling is a remote beach with tons of fish. The group is small so you can easily make friends. The adventure park is nice too, very fun. To get to the boat you get a local bus in/out of PV with the guide. It was nice to try local transportation. After the adventure park you can eat on the restaurants on the beach, they serve very good food. Bonus: the guide takes pictures and send it over for free! Amazing guy!

Arturo was an amazing tour guide throughout the entire time. He was very helpful in every activity we did. Took lots of pictures of us and helped out my parents so they could do the same activities we did. He was very knowledgeable about snorkeling as well as the ropes course zip line activity.

Amazing experience Arturo was a great guide after the zipline we had a chance to stay in the small village and have some food. Not so friendly staff to us who at the time just wanted a drink. Took our menus and said then you don’t want anything you won’t have enough time. We had 2 - 2 and a half hours. Plenty of time we ate at a different place down the beach.

Our guide Arturo was absolutely incredible. You can immediately tell when someone genuinely loves what they do, and his energy made the entire experience even better. The snorkeling was amazing, and the 90 minutes in the water was the perfect amount of time to see so many different kinds of fish without feeling rushed. We also had a great time at the adventure park and on the ziplines. One thing we really appreciated was that it was only us and one other couple, so everything felt relaxed and personal with no long waits for a large group. The downtime at the end was nice to have, although we personally felt the excursion could have been about an hour shorter since we were pretty tired and hot by that point. Other than that, everything was fantastic. Huge thanks to Arturo for making the day so fun and memorable, we would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Amazing experience with Arturo. From the very beginning I could tell it was going to be an amazing experience as his communication, upliftedness and overall aura just brought a calming sense to the adventure. It was noticeable he was super passionate about his job, conservationism/protecting the environment, and creating a great vibe/experience. Great explanation, great sense of what the squad wanted and looked to get out of it, and was just a cool bro the whole time. Super professional, yet personable, and as someone who cares about the environment/wild life/ oceans, it’s amazing to see someone like him in the field guiding us to an amazing experience. Cheers,

We had a fantastic time! The guide, Arturo, was very accommodating and helpful. The snorkeling was great for our kids (age 8 and 12). Lunch was a super cool restaurant on a lovely beach, and the adventure park was a blast! It was the perfect level of of challenge for the kids, and it was fun for us too! All around fantastic day. Would definitely recommend!

This was such a fun experience! It was our first time snorkeling and the waters were just so beautiful! Arturo, our guide was super sweet and friendly! The adventure park obstacle courses were also so much fun, I cannot wait to get our pictures :)

What a fun day! It ended up just being the two of us on the trip, which was so fun. Arturo was so nice and did a good job of giving us space but also making sure he was available if we needed anything. He was super flexible when we needed to leave a little early in order to make a reservation. We got some great pictures from ziplining, and really enjoyed having time to relax on the beach with a piña colada before heading back. I would definitely recommend at least knee length shorts/pants as well as sneakers for the ropes course/zipline part.

We had an incredible snorkeling and zipline experience in Puerto Vallarta, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Arturo. He was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Arturo made sure everyone felt comfortable, even those who were nervous. He was patient, supportive, and went out of his way to help anyone who needed it. While snorkeling, he made sure we didn’t miss anything and guided us to see beautiful swarms of fish. It was unforgettable. The zipline and obstacle course were so much fun, and Arturo kept the energy high the entire time. He made everything enjoyable without ever rushing us, and even gave us time to relax and enjoy the beach. What really stood out was how much he went above and beyond. He even made sure to drop us off right in front of our villa door. We honestly would have been lost without him. The price was only reasonable. We paid approximately $72 CAD per person for the entire activity. My only concern was with the booking process through Viator. I had contacted them in advance, shared our villa address, and asked about transportation. We were told we had to arrange our own ride to the meeting point. We ended up organizing transportation that took about 30 minutes, followed by another 30 minutes on a bus—only to realize that the actual meeting location was just a 15-minute walk from our villa. That part was frustrating and could have been communicated much better. Overall, I highly recommend booking this experience, especially if you can go with Arturo. He’s kind, professional, and truly made our trip special.

Arturo was a fantastic guide. He took us to a great spot where we saw lots of fish. The zip line and ropes course tour was unique and really fun! We had time at the end to purchase lunch before our boat ride back.We traveled with two 14-year-old boys and everyone loved it!

Overall my family had a great time. I went with my wife and two girls, the youngest being 7. Before I booked a d read reviews and someone else said they went with their 7 year old and mentioned the operators were great with their little one even on the harder obstacles. They were right. The guys did a great job leading her on ones that I honestly didn't think she was going to be able to do. She, along with the rest of the family had a blast. Highly recommend.

Great spot for snorkeling! So many fish and other sea creatures were in the area. The lunch spot had excellent food, but was a bit pricey. The only complaint was taking public transportation to the water taxi, but I’m sure that is how they keep the trip very affordable.

Best day ever! Grabbed a water taxi from Boca de Tomatlan on gorgeous day out to secluded beach where we snorkeled and saw the most beautiful fish. Then off to an authentic seafood lunch on another beach and ended with fun adventure park. Highly recommend!

Guide was very nice but overall experience left a bit to be desired. You start with a 30+ min ride on a public bus that is packed to the gills to the small village that the boat departs from. The boat ride itself was lovely but we struggled to find good snorkling in clear water without loads of jellyfish. Post that there was a long lunch (not included in costs but that was clear upfront) and then the ropes/zipline course. The course itself was fun and challenging in some parts but time only allowed for 1x through before next group arrived. They take some great pics on the course and provide them for free but took a few days to get them as they put us under the wrong name. Post the course, our guide offered to have us stay in the area for another 45 mins but we (and the rest of the group) was ready to roll so we headed back to the boat for the long (packed) and warm public bus ride home. Decent value for money but the public bus experience wasn't my favorite and meant the entire group was back an hour later than planned (even without the extra time they offered).

We went snorkeling at Majahuitas beach and Adventure park trip with Arturo. Amazing experience for our family. Arturo was knowledgeable and personable host who made sure to connect and give us a tailored experience. He shared in depth local knowledge of local plants and history, our son loves exotic plants and fruit. Adventure was way better than what I expected. Super fun and staff took care to make sure our 5 year old was safe and comfortable. Overall, super happy and highly recommended trip in PV. There are so many choice but these guys stand out.

The two guys (Alex? And the boat driver) were fantastic! Loved they're enthusiasm and they were both fun and helpful. The snorkeling was ok but a little murky and there were Jellyfish. The adventure park was very fun!

I would have given this place a 5-star review based on the activities and overall experience, but that changed the moment cash was stolen from my belongings at the adventure park. That is completely unacceptable. What they call “lockers” are not secure lockers at all. They are essentially just cubbies, and describing them as lockers is misleading. Guests are led to believe their belongings will be safely stored, when in reality their items are left vulnerable to theft. Having cash stolen put a huge stain on the entire experience. No guest should have to worry about their personal property being taken while they are trying to enjoy the park. Basic security for belongings should be the bare minimum, especially at a place where people are expected to leave their items behind in order to participate in activities.

I highly recommend this trip , I took my 8 year old granddaughter and she loved it. We spent $100 on lunch for 4 with drinks on the beach, well wit.

My wife and I went with Arturo for the Snorkelling and Zipline excursion today. The whole experience was seamless, Arturo was super knowledgeable about the area, plants and wildlife pointing things out along our journey. The journey by boat was beautiful, the snorkelling spot was great and Arturo brought the fish in masses. There were many choices for lunch at Playa Las Animas, we went with El Caracol where both food and drinks were delicious with plenty of time to eat and relax before the zip lines and ropes course which were both challenging and fun. Highly recommend Arturo and his adventures.

Miguel is the best tour guide. My family really enjoyed all the activities. Most of all, I could receive the photos on the same day, without any additional cost.

Arturo was absolutely the best! He’s the nicest guy and you can feel he genuinely wants you to enjoy the experience. Getting to see so many marine life from snorkeling was beautiful. The zip lining was a bit of a workout but well worth it. And even sitting on the private beach having drinks and lunch was a 10/10. Would definitely recommend this excursion.

Arturo was an absolutely wonderful tour guide and host. He made sure everyone enjoyed their day and the setup of the day was fabulous…bus ride, then water taxi to the snorkeling spot. Then a nice long time spent in the water seeing various colorful fish- Arturo even found a pink urchin to show us:) after the snorkeling we had plenty of time to eat lunch and then came the zip lining…that was an adventure- QUITE the obstacle course to reach the actual zip line moment. A bit scary in the beginning but was exhilarating! Afterwards we had time for a tasty beverage hanging out in the beach before we loaded up the boat to head back into town, then got on the bus back to PV. I highly recommend this snorkeling/zip lining adventure!

We just got home from this wonderful adventure. I would highly recommend booking this tour. You get personalized service, fantastic snorkeling and a really cool adventure ropes course hidden in the jungle. Miguel and arturo we're both fantastic and the food on the beach was excellent as well. I have nothing but the best to say about this adventure.

I found this tour during a 4 a.m. insomniac stretch and we booked it because the snorkeling time was the longest and the price seemed great. The end result did not disappoint for sure. Arturo was our guide and we really enjoyed our time because of his genuinely professional, helpful and fun vibe. We met at an OXXO bus stop and Arturo made it easy to find him and he clearly explained the process. The bus ride is an adventure in itself - all part of the experience! We walked down the hill to the marina at Boca and met our water taxi. A nice ride out to the typical snorkeling spot and Arturo decided it was not the best place that day (to be fair the water had been rough for days and was pretty churned up - not the tours fault). We moved to another spot and found plenty of fish and area to snorkel about. Arturo was near by, but not intrusive. Very nice experience. After that we boated back to Las Animas and were left on our own for lunch (not a negative at all). We have great food at Abelardo's based on Arturo's recommendation. Again, it did not disappoint. We could have found food on the beach much less expensive (we spent almost as much as the tour) but we splurged on great dishes, several drinks, and the beach side location. After that we went to the adventure park portion. It was fun - a bit quaint, but fun - and again Arturo made sure we enjoyed our time. Then back to Abelardos for some additional drinks and time in their chaise loungers. We had a 4 p.m. water taxi back to Boca (a nice scenic ride) and then back on the bus to PV. Crazy packed bus, but keep a sense of humor and enjoy the local experience!! Thanks Arturo.

I highly recommend this tour. Lots of fun and a great way to see this part of town. Arturo was our guide and he was exceptional. He was so helpful to us but also jumped in to help others whenever he saw the need, pulling in boats and helping the elderly for example. He is truly kind-hearted and made this tour a cut above

I had such an amazing time with my family and our guide Miguel was the best! We took a short boat ride to the snorkeling spot and the area we went snorkeling in was so beautiful. Saw so many fish!!! We then had some time to eat lunch or to do whatever for an hour or so at the cutest beach town with rows of restaurants to try from. The zip line park was such a great experience, wasn’t too hard to get through but doing it with my sister was a blast. After that they give us a couple hours to hangout ard the beach town before heading back. Overall 10/10 would love to do it again. Thank you so much Miguel!

We had a great day with Arturo! He was our guide for the day and was super friendly and answered all of our questions!! Snorkelling was amazing! Wasn’t rushed whatsoever, and got to see some amazing fish with some nice beach time after, then took the water taxi to the park, he made it super easy for us to enjoy the day we had! The adventure park was awesome, so many cool things to do! The atmosphere was so welcoming everywhere we went, very minimal waiting, really only for the boat which is to be expected, and was only 5-10 minutes so it was perfect for us to get out stuff together and go, the restaurant they took us to was great as well! Truly a day without complaints. All thanks to Arturo who made it so easy for us! Big thanks!

The guides were great, fun loving and made it an enjoyable trip. I recommend taking the water taxi back unless dont mind taking local bus which can be cramped and slow depending traffic

With kids over 8 this is a way better experience than Las Caletas! Great food, awesome tour guides, and a wonderful experience for the whole family.

Way more fun than expected. I bought these tickets on a whim & we had a great time. Initially i purchased tickets because of its 90 min snorkeling. At the end the adventure park and beautiful beach won over my teenagers heat. Thank you Arturo! Great guide

One of the best, fun, most affordable tours I've ever been on. We started at 9:30, and it took about an hour to get to the snorkeling location, but it was so worth it. It was pretty unoccupied, with only 2 boats visiting the spot. The water was so clear, allowing us to get good pictures of and actually see the fish. I recommend bringing a protective waterproof case to get your own pictures too. After spending 1.5 hours snorkeling we took the boat to a small town. We spent the first half of our time at Playa Las Ánimas, where we zip lined, rock climbed, got some great professional pictures, and had a good laugh. Then we went to a local restaurant afterwards (I totally recommend doing the zip line first then eating). The food was very affordable with it only costing $80 usd for the three of us, with 4 drinks, guacamole, and 3 meals. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Since it's right by the water, I 100% recommend getting seafood. We met some great friends while on the tour and our guide Arturo was amazing. He was very attentive, his english was great, he was very supportive of those scared to do the zip line, his recommendations were perfect, and you can tell he truly cares about this tour. Overall, I would recommend this experience to anyone looking to have a good time in Puerto Vallarta.

It was our first snorkeling and zip line experiences. We had a great time. The tour leader ( Arthuro) was professional and helpful . We liked the restaurant in the island. The fish was amazing, delicious and fresh . Beautiful ambience. I highly recommend this tour to everyone. We made great memories.
