Puerto Vallarta Private Minivan Roundtrip Transportation

I have used Viator in the past for transportation from the airport in various Mexican cities to our hotel, but GrayLine in Puerto Vallarta said i did not pay enough for this very same travel for my family even though I had called Viator prior to the purchase to confirm it was right. I was forced to pay extra for my transportation in cash on the spot or find another way to get to the hotel. We also waited approximately 20 minutes outside the airport in Puerto Vallarta upon arrival before a GrayLine representative finally came to get us the prepaid van. This is a cattle like operation with a line of people waiting at the airport. The service was normal when we left and we did get the personal van that we had paid for. I gave this a 3 star because of this, but the travel from the airport is not as described or expected

They charged me more and took a very long time to process and get van - only took cash It was hard to find driver

I reserved a private transfer from the airport to our hotel (Buenadventura Grand Moments) for our trip in early January. There were 5 adults plus all of our luggage. Everything was so easy - from booking the reservation to finding the company outside at the airport and the transportation itself. I did a round trip, so I met with GreyLine in our hotel the day after and scheduled the return trip. The driver was on time and even had a cooler of water for us for the way back to the airport. I would definitely use Grey Line again!

Signage for Gray was a little hard to find. Very professional. Newer and clean vehicle. Communicated well.

The exit area where all the taxis converge at the Puerto Vallarta airport is extremely crowded and poorly run. We reserved and prepaid a private van and driver for 3:00. We actually got in the van at 4:40. They seemed very disorganized. Once we were actually in the van it was a nice van, the driver was extremely friendly, and the ride was good.

If you are looking to pay three times the rate of a taxi only to be walked to the taxi line, Grey Line is the company for you. We were supposed to have a private van, but instead the representative walked us to the taxi line and put us in a taxi. We could have done that ourselves for a fraction of the cost. Complete ripoff — do NOT use this company.

They were on time and our fight was early and they were there and ready. Clean van and nice driver. Everything we expected and more!

We purchased a private round trip ride. The pick up experience was good. They were easy to find, and we only had to wait about 20 minutes for our ride. Our driver was accommodating and stopped at a liquor store for us so we could buy some drinks. The pick up, however, was extremely disappointing. I called them 48 hours in advance as instructed to confirm our pick up and was told initially that they could not pick us up because they did not have a van available for us. I pressed harder and asked how they could not have a van available when I had booked this month in advance. I was then told that they did have a van available however, they did not want to pick us up because of the hotel we were staying at, and they claimed to have a difficult time picking up people there. I asked them then why they accepted our reservation when they saw right off the bat where we were staying. She tried to give me the excuse that we booked through a third-party. I told her it didn’t matter if we booked through a third-party they should still see where we are located and should have been able to contact me or cancel the reservation. So it was very disappointing. That two days before we were leaving. We were scrambling and trying to find transportation. I was told that they would either meet us at the airport and pay for our taxi or I could request a refund through the app. I requested the refund and still have not heard back. Tried to call them to let them know when we are heading to the airport as instructed and never could get anybody on the phone, as of right now, we have paid double

I’m very disappointed that the service I paid for, I didn’t receive. I requested for the van and the Grey company didn’t deliver what was paid for.

I booked this transportation about a month or so before our trip. I asked several times about the price I was being charged. When I get to PV and find the people to speak with they said. O they charged you the wrong price you need to pay $40 more in cash! Will never use this service again.

Very friendly service. Driver was excellent and got us safely to our hotel. We were a last minute booking and arrived very late due to delayed flight and they were there ready and waiting. Would highly recommend.

This was a frustrating experience. We had a confirmation email and message for our ride from the airport to our home. We have them the info for pickup and we arrived in time. When we got to the Grey Lines transportation spot, they could t find our information or booking. We waited until they manually created the booking. We then had to wait 45 minutes for a van to arrive.

This was a great decision- the well identified Grayline person just outside the airport (lime green, navy and gray shirt) was right there (waiting for the 6 of us even after a 2 hour flight delay), verified our tickets and within minutes we and our luggage had boarded our clean and comfy air-conditioned van. José P. got us to our hotel without delay. We had to meet a Grayline rep at our hotel the next day to verify our return flight and pick-up times for our return next week and he was right where they said he'd be, even early. So yes, we wd use this service again and recommend it to avoid the taxi line-up. Note: we brought a booster seat for our 5 year old but the van only had lap belts which did not work with our model.

Do not buy round-trip we were ripped off i paid for round trip private car transportation. Arrival at airport was perfect however leaving was a issue. The reprasintive paid a local resort taxi driver with a small car $20 for our private ride back. Save your money just get a taxi at the resort for $20. Just terrible Terrible way to do business. 2nd time I have had this issue with iss information and viator and viator won't do anything about it.

We had a little bit of a wait, however we got outside airport earlier then expected. Grayline employee was extremely helpful. Van arrived and we were on our way to hotel! Great service, highly recommended!

I ordered 3 vans, only 2 vans showed up. Then we were told the vans were first come first serve even though I paid for all 3 vans. And then we couldn’t get the 3rd van. Viator was not easy to find exiting the airport

We were traveling with someone in a wheel chair who has difficultly getting in and out of cars, but I was so happy and impressed how everyone was so helpful! The 1st van didn't work so they got smaller one and helped us get her in the van, I use the rest of out trip would of gone so smoothly! Thanks for such great service.

They were on time and very polite. Transportation to and from the airport was very good. I would recommend their services.
