A beautiful yacht, amazing crew, great food, and a perfect trip to enjoy the Bay! We would do this excursion over again if we could. Thank you to all that made this a very special day.

Boat was in great shape, the team was very attentive and fun and the area we were taken was lovely and there were lots of fish to see. Great job. The banana boat ride was fun also! (Unexpected 😊)
Great crew and experience. Sergio and his crew was excellent
Great tour, perfect length of time. Staff was very attentive! Snorkeling was fabulous. One detail: Extra $20 usd per person environmental fee should be disclosed at time of booking.
A great experience snorkeling and boat day with the nicest crew and captain. Would highly recommend.
This was a great experience! The staff treated me like a trusted friend. They were super attentive, kind and tried to make the experience as amazing as possible. Highly recommend.
It was the first time in the ocean for me and I absolutely loved it
We originally booked a scuba dive tour to Marietas. It wasn't til we arrived at the desk to check in we were notified the dive tour was cancelled. We were given the option to do another dive tour, but we were unable to do it due to a wedding we had to attend to later in the day back at our resort. In the end, we were redirected to the snorkel tour. The snorkel tour was great, but in the future, we would like to be notified ahead of time if the dive tour is cancelled. Not at the last minute
Totally my bad for not taking the description literally. I expected this to be a snorkel heavy adventure. It is a booze cruise...but a well planned, fun one. I never would pick a booze cruise activity on purpose but it was a fun accident. There was only one brief snorkel time in the whole 5 hours. It was okay, not for experienced snorkelers or divers, more for people who want to try it out and have a fun morning on a boat. The tour guide had razzle dazzle and was very fun. The whole crew was very nice and polite. The lunch was fantastic, the drinks were excellent. I ain't never been on a yacht before, so that alone was fun and silly. You'll definitely have a good time!
The trip was barely satisfactory but I was honestly very dissatisfied with the experience, especially considering how expensive the tour was. The snorkeling was a major disappointment. We only snorkeled a few meters from the beach for about 20 minutes, which was nowhere near what I expected from a snorkeling excursion. Unfortunately, it felt very limited and underwhelming. I was also disappointed with the service. I requested drinks during the tour that I never received, and the towel that was supposed to be included at the end of the trip was also not provided. When you’re paying a significant amount for an excursion, I expect the inclusions that were advertised to actually be provided. To make matters worse, at the end of the trip, the crew put out a hat to collect tips. After an already expensive tour where I didn’t receive everything that was promised, this felt very uncomfortable and left a bad impression. Overall, I left feeling very dissatisfied and disappointed with the experience. Unfortunately, I would not book this tour again and would have a hard time recommending it to others.
Great experience, great beach majahuitas great host, captain, bartender and chef!! Would do it again no doubt
Amazing. Juanlouise (I think that was the spelling) was amazing. We left port at the exact time we were supposed to. The food and drinks were great! Sometimes you expect the food to be blah and the drinks watered down? But I had no complaints (and I had a special diet they followed!). Everything was very upfront (port fee and the entrance to an exclusive beach fee) and Elsa took lovely photos of us (and A LOT of photos). Literally couldn’t imagine a nicer day (and it rained! That’s how nice it was!). Totally worth the cost. Theres an optional scuba (we didn’t go but $50 usd) and the snorkel location was lovely. 10/10. Would go again.
We had incredible time on this tour. Victor and his crew were so friendly and professional. The boat was super clean and nice. The food and snacks were delicious and we loved the open bar. We did not feel crowded on the boat with the other guests and felt right at home. We were able to leisurely coast to private beach, snorkel, swim, and explore. Then we enjoyed a great lunch with more cocktails before heading back slowing hugging the coast. Since the seas were calm, we were able to get super close to Los Arcos for some pictures and enjoy the scenery. I highly recommend Vallarta Adventures/Victor and his crew!
The experience was awesome 👌 excellent service, staff treated us like family, unlimited drinks , just wonderful, highly recommended, this is a tour you dont wanna miss.
Loved my experience. Glad I booked the luxury yacht less kids. And more for adults. Yoxi was our tour guide and he spoke great English and was great at his job. The snorkeling was fun and the banana boat was exciting. I would do this excursion again. The boat was clean and the sandwiches were fancy big and good. The drinks were strong and in so happy I went with this boat and not the boat that takes you out to the animals to pet, with pigs. Those boats had way to many small kids. All adult do the luxury yacht Excursion. Leave the other boat to the families.
This event is somewhat misleading- before booking, I read other reviews and looked at the photos and was under the impression this was a much smaller, intimate experience than the 30+ people that were there. You meet at the port and huddle with 100+ other people while waiting for the boats. There are additional fees that took the total much higher than advertised and we were not allowed to bring our own snacks or drinks. Two of our members were vegetarian and asked to eat a little early- they were served last and it was basically bread, crackers and dip. We are a very large party and were squeezed into the back while groups of 1-3 were prioritized on top by the captain or in the front of the ship. The event is like a Disney experience where you’re asked to stop and take photos constantly. We were not allowed shoes anywhere, including the “Private” beach with 3 other boating groups where the sand was very very rocky. Because there were so many other groups there, we had no where to sit as the beach club blocks of sitting access! The fish were cool but again it was mostly a photo event to make more money when they sold them to us later.
The service was amazing but we didn’t get to see the arcos de mismaloya like it was advertised. The snorkeling area by Majahuitas was great and there’s plenty of fish and we saw a stingray. The music on board was not great, just stick to one genre and make it upbeat to get everyone involved.
It was fun, but they were very pushy about their photography. I don’t know why they so desperately want to take your photo. Also, they add a 20 dollar fee that really should be included in the price.
Overall it was a good time. The boat is better than a catamaran, but not quite luxury. Also, the snorkeling area is pretty small and the beach is very secluded. Sometimes a lively crowd isn't bad..the drinks were great and the food was better than average. Very good guac and cheese dip..
We had a Good, attentive, enjoyable experience from the time we got on the boat until we got off of the boat.
This tour was really good—the crew really make sure you’re comfortable, and they make some pretty good drinks too. I RECOMMEND you get a dry bag; halfway through the tour, you get off the boat and go to this small island. They can put your valuables in a box and swim it to the island for you but just get a bag. The lunch is pretty good; fresh fruit, a sandwich for the meat eaters and a salad for the herbivores. Beautiful weather, easy vibes, and all-you-can-drink…do this tour
It’s total waste of your time and money. If you are into snorkeling and look forward to seeing some beautiful fishes, coral, or just have a chill trip to some beautiful beach on a yatch/boat, do not book this trip. They take you to a spot with “some fish”, throw some bread to them, and that’s it, there isn’t a lot to see at the spot, don’t trush the photos. They rush you to the water, rush you back to the boat, in less than 20 mins. Safety is a big concern. There are gears, but no explaination on how to properly use them. A friend of mine were given a too big of a life vest, she couldn’t swim properly and tried to get use to the water, so i asked this Alex guy to switch the life vest, and he argued with me that she “couldn’t swim”, instead of helping her and get her out of the water. According to these guys, knowing how to swim = know how to swim, dive, use all snorkeling gears like a professional, if you can’t do them all, good luck, or stay on the boat. You may got stung by jelly fish also at this spot. They then take you to a beach, and leave you to swim to the shore. There is a guy with a motor boat that can transfer people from the yatch to shore, but you can’t use it. Either you swim, or stuck on the boat. The beach suppose to have an open bar, but if you buy this tour, you can only have either watermelon juice or lemon juice. If you want something like a magaritas, guest what, you have to swim back to the yatch yourself. Once you are on the beach, these guys from the yatch crew would keep annoying you with asking you to do poses, so they can take photos with their drones and cameras, then guest what, if you want the photos, you gotta pay them. Otherwise, they post these videos and photos on social media, so you are their product. They planned it so that it’s hard for you to take your phone with you to shore and take photos, they would say they give you some phone protective bags, but they turn out to be the black gabage bag. Once they rush you back to the yatch, you will be served a small portion of cold dry hard sandwich. Nothing about this tour feels luxury. The tour took 5 hours but i wished it ended sooner. This Mr. Alex would finally shamelessly asking for tips with his bucket hat, what a jerk! Will never go with Vallarta Adventures ever again.
On time very attentive to people. Food was good would recommend for adults to take Weather was beautiful
We took this tour on April 23rd...such a great day! We were able to walk to the pier which was great. Paid the pier fee which was 35mxn so no issue. Boarding process was smooth as was the rest of the tour. Greeted by the crew with smiles, a fresh fruit bowl and drinks!!! Beautiful scenery all around. The snorkeling was good (not Caribbean good but still good). The yacht was lovely, clean and easy to get around and being a smaller group it was nice to mingle somewhat. Lunch was good as well. Overall we enjoyed this tour very much and the staff were great!
This is a ABSOLUTE MUST DO!!! Dont do anything else! Ray was the abdolute best fun a knowledgeable I loved being able to have fun and he went out of his way to help me have a great time! Charlie makes the best drinks Even brought me drinking after I ordered a few. George made the trip smooth making sure he as suited and safe and strong! Juan Louis slowed the boat for all the dolphins.
This was even better than expected! Victor and his crew were super friendly and helpful. The yacht was a catamaran and was very nice/well maintained. The drinks and food were delicious and easily obtained. The other people on the boat with us were great, it was a small group which is perfect. We snorkeled and lounged at beaches, 10/10. Highly recommend, it’s a great price for everything that’s included.
Boat, crew and food great. Cove where you snorkel is very agitated so very murky. Coral reef is brown, not many colorful fish.
This experience it definitely worth the price. Juan Luis and the crew were amazing. All you can drinking means all you can drink. You have options of snorkeling, paddle boarding, or riding a banana boat once you are at the amazing club house. If you’re looking for experience to do with your friends and love ones choose this experience for sure.
This was a really fun day! About a 45min ride to the snorkel spot and got to see a lot of cool fish. Then right next door was the private beach where we got to do the banana boat, paddle boarding, take pictures, and relax ! Then back on the boat to enjoy a nice lunch. Staff was so friendly and attentive!
My husband and I totally enjoyed this experience. Having been coming to PV for years I have been on almost all of the day trips. This is truly a great value for what you pay and spending time on a beautiful boat with a bathroom and great drinks is about as nice as it gets unless you want to pay for a private yacht. The sandwich was delicious and the drinks were cold. I read a few reviews that complained it was not “Luxury “ enough. Don’t know what they expected for the price. The snorkeling, paddle boarding and cove visit are brief but plenty of time to enjoy a place you never would have experienced without a yacht trip. The crew was so friendly and really aimed to please. The luxury is the experience not the Lack of an elevated dining experience. The Bay of Banderas is beautiful.
Luxury Snorkelling trip was wonderful. Boat, staff, beverages and food were top shelf. We'll book with Vallarta Adventures for all of our tour needs. Fantastic group of people. Thank you!
I went with my boyfriend that had never done an adventure like this before and he was thrilled with it! I’m so glad that I chose this excursion because it was so worth the money! The captain and staff were absolutely wonderful!!! The lunch they provided was delicious!
Well the crew did great. Never got off the boat due to the cartel attacks that were going on during our tour. We did make it back to our hotel safely due to the crew and a generous Canadian that loaned me 1000 pesos.
Our excursion was Sunday Feb 22. We loved every second of it. Snorkeling was fantastic, second stop at the beach was beautiful. Lunch - delicious. And so many whales spotted on the way back! The crew were FANTASTIC. The birthday cake surprise was awesome! Many, many thanks to Victor - thank you for doing an amazing job ensuring our family got back to our hotel. We will see you next year. : )
Highly recommend this company. The trip was great and the staff was amazing. We did the snorkeling trip but also saw whales and dolphins. We were on a boat during the fires in PV. They were very accommodating and gave us multiple options to ensure we felt safe returning, including keeping us on the water much later, giving us the option to go to Narajit and waiting it out or driving us to a hotel there, or taking speed boats back to public beaches. Despite the chaos happening, they were very calm and shared enough information to make informed decision. Cannot recommend enough.
We had a great time on the Yacht Cruise and Snorkeling adventure. Omar and the crew were amazing and took great care of us on the cruise. Drinks were flowing on the boat and the lunch/snacks were just enough for what we needed. We were there during whale watching season so they also did a great job getting us multiple views on the cruise there and back.
Good times! Snorkeling and good food
Great experience,we would recommend this to any travelers.!!!:). Crew was very polite knowledgeable and fun
We had the absolute BEST experience with Captain Victor on our private catamaran with Vallarta Adventures! From the moment we stepped on board, he made us feel welcome, safe, and completely taken care of. Captain Victor was professional, knowledgeable, and so much fun. He made sure every detail was perfect and that everyone in our group was comfortable and having an amazing time. The scenery was breathtaking, the boat was beautiful, and the entire experience felt seamless and relaxing thanks to him. He went above and beyond to make the trip special, and you can truly tell he loves what he does. We laughed, we relaxed, and we made memories we’ll never forget. If you’re booking a private catamaran, ask for Captain Victor — you will not regret it! We loved every single minute and can’t wait to do it again!
Everyone is very helpful, before even getting on the yacht! For my first time in Mexico I felt very safe and well guided. The snorkeling spot and the Majahuitas island were beautiful! Unfortunately the waves were a bit much for my wife and I, we got a bit seasick, as did a few others on the tour with us. I won't let that take away from our experience because we can't control the ocean!! The team made an amazing lunch, kept our drinks full, and were so friendly. We got some awesome/professional pictures taken and we purchased them from a lady on the yacht also which was very well worth the price and a nice surprise.
This worked out well for us. We are in late 70’s and yours with Hidden beach won’t take our age. We saw a lot of beautiful fish. Very comfortable ride and good food. Pro tips; You do have to swim to the private VA beach but it was close. Bring water shoes if you have sensitive feet and keep them in your bag so you can retrieve them if you don’t want to stay on the boat. The sand is gravelly. The Puerto Mágico is inside the cruise terminal. Go to the left and pay your 35 pesos for your port entry ticket. Then opposite way to find Vallarta Adventures. Get there earlier than they suggest if you want to avoid Lines and have a time to look around the shops or have a cup of coffee. There are seats in the waiting area and have a television that says what Adventure or Trip is leaving next. Victor was great captain and all his crew and we appreciate their hard work and help taking such good care of us.
The crew was very accommodating, the food was delicious & the snorkeling location near the private beach was relaxing
The boat and crew were great! Snorkeling spot and 2nd beach spot were beautiful! Lunch provided was really good and the drinks were flowing good! Had a great time!
We loved our experience on this excursion!! Everything was so organized and smooth. The staff were amazing! Leon was our main guide and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him! He was so attentive to everyone’s needs, he was funny and knowledgeable and he made the trip so much fun! Herman was our photographer and he got some great photos that we ended up buying! The snorkeling was good and the beach experience was fun! The lunch on board the boat was delicious!! We even saw whales and dolphins which was a plus!! Highly recommend this excursion and consider yourself lucky if you get Leon as your guide!!!
Do not use Vallarta Adventures – The staff and company treat you poorly, do not care about you or any of your concerns. Terrible experience. Highly recommend going with one of the other adventure groups with good ratings that actually care and are responsive to their customers. Snorkelling was poor and only 20 minutes. The food did not taste good (was only a cold sandwich). After the crappy snorkelling we went to a beach. The boat anchored off shore so everyone had to swim to shore so you could not bring any towels or hats or camera and relax on the beach. Pass and do not go on this. Choose a company that values its customers – Do not use Vallarta Adventures.
Alex and crew created a wonderful experience. Our whole group had so much fun snorkeling, enjoying the boat ride and all the beautiful sites. The service and overall vibe was outstanding.
The boat was nice, not luxurious, but nice. The size of the group was large— there was room for all of us, but it was definitely cozy with minimal space between people. There was no where to put bags/belongings. Previous experiences they’ve offered that bags be kept in the cabin area, but that didn’t happen, so everyone’s stuff was everywhere (taking up room where people could have been sitting or lying down). The food and drinks were excellent, staff were great— friendly, attentive! The washrooms on the boat were atrocious. Like nothing I will ever forget. I think you have to manually flush them, but no one showed the guests how, so the toilets just overflowed with urine. There is a very nice, clean, working toilet washroom on the island— I recommend holding it until you’re there, or going in the ocean. Anyway, over all, I would probably go again, but would love the belongings to be put away and the washroom situation to be cleaner/ less nightmare-ish . They should reduce the price for the above reasons.
It was nice and we all enjoyed it. But it sounded like we’d get a passing tour of a few places and go to a nice beach to chill for a while. Actually, it was a slow boat ride to the bay. We snorkeled for about 20 minutes then went to the beach for just over 30 minutes. It was only beer on the beach, not premium cocktails. When we got back on the boat, we had a sandwich and a slow drive back to port. Was a little misleading for the price but still had fun.
Crew were exceptional! Very friendly and took great care of us. Great lunch and drinks when we you wanted one! Beautiful sailing to the beach and lots of time to swim and enjoy the water.
What a great day! I was lucky enough to have Alex and crew and it was just lovely. We left Vallarta Adventures with 5 people on board, then stopped to pick up more people on the beautiful catamaran. On the way to snorkel, the captain spotted whales, stopped the boat and we enjoyed their playing and breeching for about 40 minutes - absolutely spectacular! After snorkeling, we went to a private beach to rest and enjoy the sun, with paddleboarding and banana boat rides available! It was a lovely day and I met lots of great people from North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, and Guadalajara! You are in good hands here - you won't be disappointed!
