We had a wonderful cruise with good friends and great drinks

It was pouring rain when we first started, but they still made it fun and exciting!!! We went snorkeling and they made us lunch. They kept offering us drinks. They had bathrooms as well. Highly reccomended them!!!

The boat, the capitan, his crew and the so beautiful sunset, what else could we have asked for! This is a definite must do! It was a wonderful excursion and we will do it again, next year!

We had the absolute best time on our sunset sail. The crew of Sergio, Calvin, Fernando and Emanuel were the best! The playlist was perfect, the tapas delicious and the drinks good! The views were beautiful! I highly recommend this excursion!

Vallarta adventures was very professional and easy meetup at the Marina. Our hosts Sergio, Francisco and Marvin were excellent and kept us well fed and hydrated. Only tip I have is be prepared for the port fees collected before the trip. It was like MXD40 per person. Otherwise, a wonderful experience

This was the worst experience I have ever had. The weather made my group uncomfortable. There was extreme thunder, rain, and lightening and instead of canceling, they decide to move forward with a sunset tour in the open sea. The sky is cloudy, dark, and pouring rain. The lightening illuminated the entire sky and the thunder was so loud. We contacted the company for a refund as today was the only day we were available for the tour. A woman named Marianna indicating that they were moving forward with the trip and no refund will be provided. This company cares more about the profit than keeping their customers safe. It is 27 minutes into the scheduled tour and it is still raining and the weather is still terrible for a sailing tour. Their cancelation policy requires that the weather be "good" and it provides the option of full refund or rescheduling if there is poor weather. But since this company decided to risk people's lives and not cancel, they will not provide a refund. I am extremely disappointed in this company and in Viator for not advocating for their clients. I have used Viator around the world, but this experience has made me rethink their service. Over $200 lost because this company decided to sail into a literal storm.

The sunset sail was great but beware as the cooperate office will not refund money for a cancelation of a photo package. Ive been waiting now for 3 months to receive the refund and only get promises but no actual refund. I am very disappointed with the service from Vallarta_Adventures

This excursion was the third of our 3 for 2 package, and it was the perfect end to our "second honeymoon" in Puerto Vallarta. We went out with one other sailboat, which made for nice small groups, great conversations and amazing photo opportunities! The friendly staff were very attentive, bringing drinks and tasty snacks while we sailed. They offered us a photo package as well, which we decided to purchase as a great memento from our 20th anniversary celebration. We're glad this excursion was recommended to us.

Photographer took our pictures and of everybody else and by the time he started going around to see who would buy them the cruise was almost over. He told my wife he was gonna show us our pictures in the dock when we got off the boat BUT he just went to talk to the other coworkers and BS ing. Me and my wife left as we had called an UBER. Very very dissapointed. As if the trip never happened. Since Im not planning to go back to Puerto Vallarta I would look for another company with more professional personnel next time I go on vacation.

The boat was a monohull sailboat. The excursion was presented on a catamaran sailboat which I preferred.

We sailed April 27th to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and so glad that we did! Such a wonderful evening! The sunset was stunning! The sailboat was a good size and the group size was small which we really liked! Check in was easy with a small pier fee. The crew on board were fabulous!!! Fernando, Sergio, Marvin and Emanuel were so fun! They made our celebration so memorable and the photos Emanuel took are a great take away keepsake! Very easy to get too and from the dock. Overall evening was just spectacular and we left with such wonderful memories!!!

My wife & I took a splendid sunset cruise with Vallarta Adventures last Wednesday evening. We booked it at our resort and were very pleased with the boat, the drinks, the food, the music, and the crew. The cruise office was easy to find and we were onboard by 6 PM. We motored out of the Marina but most of the sail was under sail. The food was terrific. We were each served guacamole and chips plus four appetizers. The drinks were included and you could order all through the sail. The music selection was pretty standard "yacht rock" missed with Mexican. The price was $99 USD each and we felt that this was very fair for the experience received.

The sunset sailing experience was great and what I expected. It was a gift for my niece and her husband who were visiting on their last night. Big smiles all around! The sunset was truly amazing.

This experience is wonderful ... so much so, now we have discovered it, that we take this cruise every year when we are down ... twice if here longer than two weeks. To see the city from the water in daylight and after dark can only be done on a cruise like this one. Just the pure relaxation of sailing on the bay. They have significantly improved their food offering ... a board of delightfully varried canapes.

We did the sunset sail and the boat was clean, well kept and the crew was great. It was a great value for the experience. I highly recommend.

The crew went waaaay out of their way to make this a MEMORABLE event. The adventure description in the advertisement was true in every sense. And I think it was a good value too. I definitely will do this again when I return to Vallarta, and each time therafter too. CAUTION: Uber doesn't seem to serve the harbor area at 9PM when we got off the boat. Had to hike out to the main road to get a taxi home.

Beautiful. I recommend in the front of the boat for an amazing view. The weather was perfect but bring a sweater if you sometimes get chilly with a breeze.

We have done many tours in the Puerto Vallarta area and this was our favorite. Sunset cruise with wine and snacks, great light.music and a wonderful crew. Highly recommend.

Missed the trip because they sent us to the wrong location. Usually visitor is good but this was a terrible experience. Now we’re are stuck because the taxi left. Don’t book this trip.

We have been on numerous Sunset cruises with this company. Usually top notch. Unfortunately this time not so good. Slow drinks, late food, and we were too close to the shore to actually see the sun set in the water.

Vallarta Adventures has always provided us with great excursions! The sunset cruises are amazing, the Rhythms of the Night shows are wonderful and whale watching is thrilling! They are well organized, easy to work with and very experienced! Captain Sergio on our sunset cruise was the best! We book online in advance and are ready to go when we get to Puerto Vallarta!

The Captain and crew were awesome. Although it was a cloudy night (NOT the fault of the tour), they compensated with some cool whale watching along the way. Great time and highly recommend.

50' Sail boat that glides smoothly on water. Can comfortably accommodate a couple dozen passengers. Sails were hoisted making it a quiet ride. Saw some sea life, scenic sunset, and shoreline views. Crew was exceptional, attentive, and made sure your glass was always full. Excellent value. Will do again as it was our best adventure in Puerto Vallarta.

So many amazing things to say about this sunset sailboat ride! It was extremely organized and a wonderful experience! Captain and crew were very welcoming and friendly and attentive. Although we’re not drinkers, it was open bar and the crew made sure you were always topped off they gave you the space to enjoy the boat and the sea and the sunset. Small tasty hors doevres were served which was a a nice touch! We even saw some whales and stopped to watch them play! Overall, an unforgettable experience my fiance and I will not forget! Highly recommend!!

We saved this for our last evening in PV, but had we gone on the 1st day, we would have gone 3 more times….Great sunset cruise, saw so many whales and enjoyed the drinks and apps. The crew was fantastic and so accommodating.

Everything was amazing. The crew was so professional, attentive to everyone’s knees, funny got everyone engaged amazing. The food was great. The drinks kept coming and we even saw dolphins and whales. We were on the water for a good three hours and it went by so fast. We’ll definitely do it again next time we’re here

A very unfortunate experience due to dramatic local street closures that limited taxi access to marina, terrible communication from the company under the circumstances, and currently loss of refund options. We did not get to sail. We were told to -meet- at a certain time, but saw the boat leave as we _arrived_ at that time. NO DIRECT written or verbal communication about the sailing time being changed by *30* minutes from what we were told over the phone that morning and in a second call when we were made aware of the taxi situation. BEWARE.
