Wonderful and exciting tour. First drove around the city on narrow, cobblestone streets. Then up into the mountains on narrow paths. Looked over the edge of drops of hundreds of feet. Included Tequila tasting and lunch was excellent.

Our tour guide Axle did a superb job. He stopped at view points for us to take pictures and a great little place for lunch that we would have never found on our own. The food was so flavorful! He kept us safe and we saw so much more of PV than we see down near the beach. Just beautiful and I highly recommend this tour! Thank you.

Great experience, admission fee was right, perfect lenght of time for tour. Atmosphere qas great crowds where low Daniel and was amazing definitely had a great time. This trio is best for a half day adventure.

Sergio was our tour guide and he was EPIC! He was so good "I'd follow him to the ends of the earth." 😂 Eddy was our photographer and he took really great photos that it would have been a bummer to not purchase them. I'd definitely recommend this company for a tour. We did the 3 hour tour and would definitely recommend the 5 hour tour next time. So much fun and amazing views!

The scenery was breathtaking and we got to see parts of Puerto Vallarta we never would have found on our own. My friends and I rented ATVs and took them on an hour ride to Eden that has ziplines over a river and waterfalls through the jungle. It’s beautiful! Rafa was our guide and made sure we were safe and having fun. I highly recommend this company for any tours you are thinking of doing in Puerto Vallarta. This was my second tour with this company. I trust them. They have great prices and Fernando, the owner, makes sure you are happy with your tour and he takes care of everything!

An absolute amazing trip don’t hesitate to take it! From the time we arrive at the office, the staff was all so personable and kind. One of the girls in our group lost control of her ATV at the beginning and Franco was so patient with her and guided her through. The Tour is beautiful and the places that we stopped were very nice. The restaurant for the wine tasting was excellent as well.

We had a fantastic time on the tour. Our tour guides were Sergio and Franco and they were a lot of fun, answered all our questions, and ensured that we had a great time. All the staff we interacted with during the tour were friendly and inviting. The drinks were also delicious. The tequila tasting was a lot of fun and the tequila was very good.

Highly recommended to book a trip adventure in Puerto Vallarta, the staff is amazing and we have a lot of support from Fernando since day one. Giancarlo our tour guide was very helpful and extremely careful, we enjoyed the scenery and had a very good experience. Lunch at Cuale should be in Michelin and pricing was just right and no surprises at the end, everything delivered as promised. Multi thumbs up!

This atv tour in Mexico was such an incredible experience and it was amazing! The staff were fun and made sure we felt safe and comfortable. Everything was well planned and it was so adventurous yet fun! We definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a thrilling excursion while in Mexico. My husband and I had the pleasure of having Daniel as our tour guide and I can’t say enough great things about this experience. My husband and I travel and adventure quite a bit and this was our favourite thing we’ve done to date! Daniel was the best tour guide! He was fun, personable, accommodating, truly an above and beyond tour guide. He’s one of the main reasons we had such a great tour. He even let us ask a million and one questions about the trees and fruit we were seeing as it was all new to us, he knew all the answers it was remarkable! Can’t recommend this tour enough. If you like fun and adventure this is the place to go! Both restaurant stops were incredible. Rancho mi Abuelo had breath taking views, its family run and every staff there was a joy. The second restaurant we had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was full of good laughs and hospitality. Best trip ever!!!!

Franco was awesome...what a fun experience for our family! Very organized and great with instructions. Loved the flexibility of having the private tour and flexing stops for what we were interested in seeing...even hit the lighthouse with the best views in the city. This is our second time working with Xiutla Riders to have an ATV excursion into the mountains near Puerto Vallarta. This time, we brought our kids and booked a longer, private ride. Our prior experience was last year, just the two of us, and with another couple (e.g. not a private tour). We had an amazing experience and our kids said it was the highlight of their trip. Here's a little about it. We started off at the Xiutla PV office just off the Malecon (about six blocks from the north end of the Malecon). After pre-briefing, paperwork, helmet fitting, etc., we hit the road through PV to get to the nearby mountain trails. Our guide, Franco, recognized that two people in our party didn't have much ATV riding experience and he was excellent acknowledging it and also giving them the option to park their ATVs during the excursion and hop on with one of the other drivers. That made everyone at ease. During the PV portion of the tour, we drove through residential areas and along the Rio Cuale until we hit the outskirts of PV. The drive through neighborhoods is awesome and it gives you a real flair for PV. I've covered a lot of that ground on foot, but many of our guests hadn't, so it was a way to see the town without sweating out a long, warm walk during the afternoon. We got to the foot of the mountain and talked about priorities for the trip. When we reached the Ypoint (where you can go up the mountain one-way to Rancho Mi Abuelo (a stop for drinks and food) or go up the mountain, we made the decision to spend some time at one, recognizing that it might cut our time going up into the other part of the mountains. Franco was awesome and said that he'd take us for a longer ride in the other parts of the mountains even if we wanted to spend more time at Rancho Mi Abuelo. So we did that and appreciated his flexibility. The stop at Rancho Mi Abuela is cooler than you might think. They've done a lot of work there since we were in PV even last year, adding some sleeping cabins and a paintball course. They have some beautiful pools and a good bar. Their Micheladas were excellent. They pitch their margaritas, which is fine, but the michelada is a lower-cost, refreshing alternative. Try one! After Rancho, we went back down the mountain to the Y and then headed back up into the mountains in the other direction. For people who know about the ziplining, etc. in the mountains around PV, this is the path that gets you there. We went up deeper into the mountains that we did last year because Franco was willing to take us there. It was an awesome extension of our trip and our photos up there were awesome. Franco also gave a really nice history lesson and was willing to share a little bit more about some of the goings on in PV lately, which was much appreciated. We headed back down the mountain and stopped for a tequila tasting and some lunch. Sergio there was awesome and food and drinks were excellent. We've met Sergio before and, when he's not at the tequila stop, he also guides. Try to get a trip with him; I'm sure it's a blast. After the tequila tasting, we followed a different path back to the shop. When we did, I got behind a little and missed a turn that the group took. Franco was awesome ("I came with six people! I have to return with six!") looking for me and, although I was able to find my way back to the group because I know the area, I appreciated how he searched. We all got back together, got back to the shop, and departed. Fun fact: one of our guests lost his driver's license on the mountain. The next day, we got a note from the shop that one of the other drivers found it in the dust. I appreciated that they called and it's crazy that they found that needle in a haystack. It saved one of us a trip to the DMV to replace it (and that's no small value). My only feedback doesn't related to Xiutla, but to the photographer who accompanied us. It's a separate company and the photographer did an awesome job, We appreciated him being along every step of the way, but when we asked about pricing, it was at first unclear how much it was to get all of the photos and, later, he said it was $270. We couldn't justify that with everyone having their own cameras and one of our group having his own high-quality (not iPhone) camera, so we passed and felt terrible about it. He rode with us for three hours. If the initial price point would have been lower, we would have said an easy "yes" or if they offered a bundle of photos (20 for $100 or something like that), we also would have been onboard. Just a thought. Overall, loved the ride and appreciated the team this time like last. Franco said he's moving to France and then Spain in three months, so he won't be guiding much longer. If you're going to PV in the next month or two, ask for Franco or Sergio. Both are great people and deserving of a good tip at the end of their journey!

Amazing adventure through the streets of PV and up into the mountains. Tour guide was awesome, very knowledgeable about sights and patient with us. Loved the restaurant we stopped at for a drink. Had delicious homemade corn tortillas, Pico salsa was amazing. Had natural springs to cool off in. Recommend

Sergio was a wonderful guide! It was so much fun taking the back roads and the food spot is a total oasis! Depending on time of year there will be water across the road, but not in mid-March

Great private tour - just me and my partner with our guide, plus a photographer dropping in with his dirt bike at certain points to capture pictures of us. Beautiful scenery, fun ride, would definitely recommend!

He’s super friendly, funny, and down to earth. As someone who can get anxious about driving an ATV on my own, Octavio made sure I felt safe the entire time! This is our kids’ favorite excursion in PV, and something our family looks forward to when we visit. Ask for Octavio - he’s seriously the best!!

This ATV tour was the highlight of our trip to Mexico! The ride was incredible. We went through rivers, up into the mountains, and saw some absolutely beautiful scenery along the way. It was the perfect mix of adventure and sightseeing. Our tour guide, Daniel, was amazing! He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe while still having an absolute blast. You can tell he really loves what he does. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, unforgettable experience!

Awesome tour and Daniel was an amazing guide! Beautiful views of the local neighborhoods. Driving up the mountain side was such a great memory and the local springs was beautiful too for a dip in the water. At the end, you stop at a nice restaurant by the river for some great food and drinks! 10/10

Was a great tour. Had fun. what you read about the experience is actual. But its not as dramatic. you will not get very dirty or very wet.

We had a blast. 5 adults: 69, 65, 33, 33 and 30. 2 guides to take us through town safely. Safety equipment provided. Guides were knowledgeable. Margaritas at mi abuelo's were fabulous. Lunch was quite tasty. We ended up buying 2 bottles of tequila from the tasting. Overall a memorable experience.

We met at the tour operator base in Zona Romantica and were taken care off quickly where we met our guide Franco. This guy was awesome. Our family had 3 that had riden ATVs before but my daughter (21) and wife had no experience. Franco explained how the machines worked and made them both comfortable before off we went. The ride through the towns was interesting to see real Mexican life away from the tourist areas. After about 25 minutes we reached the mountain areas where we headed off onto the dirt for a fun ride thru the jungle. Franco was always attentive and a great leader. As we rode the tour photographer would ride ahead and set up to take photos as we rode by so we could enjoy the experience and sights rather than stopping and taking pictures ourselves. The photos are an extra expense but worth it in my opinion. Our first stop was a small outdoor bar and restaurant located next to a river with pools and walkways through the jungle to relax for about 20 minutes. The people were friendly and the drinks were cold and delicious. Next was an exciting ride up the top of the mountain for some pictures and a quick break where Franco told us about the history and conservation of the area. It was amazingly beautiful and lush. Next we rode down to a small outdoor restaurant for some food, drinks and tequila tasting. The people were all like old friends happy to see you when you arrived. The drinks were awesome, the tequila tasting (I’m not a tequila drinker) was informative and really good. We shared pollo nachos and quesadillas and they were awesome. Lastly Franco took us back to the city and the original meeting area. I would recommend this to anyone, the people we met were awesome, the drinks and food were perfect, the riding was easy if you are experienced and a not difficult even if you have no experience. The views were amazing. My kids 21, 24,25 loved it and my wife and I did too. I would definitely recommend it.

It was my first time reserving an ATV tour. The experience was very fun. I was little nervous maneuvering the ATV but had great guidance with Sergio and Camera man. Both were very patient and kind. Going into the mountains was very nice and the little restaurant you stop at has great food and small tequila tasting. Camera guy got some great shots! Friendly staff. Overall, great experience and would recommend the private tour.

We chose to hit the mountains before the beach on our quick getaway. We had a wonderful day with Franco. He was so nice during interactions throughout the trip in the mountains. We had a member of our group get flat tires and he quickly changed them and had us up and running in no time. He was just as pleasant even during the tire incident. We were super happy with everything from beginning to end! Very thankful for our wonderful guide and photographer throughout the trip.

Being able to see PV from a diffrent means of transportation was such a rigorvating experience. I would and will do it again.

Outstanding experience. Sergio was patient and did a great job navigating us around, I felt safe and well taken care of throughout. Eric came along and took pictures, getting all the fun action shots. Both guys were wonderful, which elevated an already fantastic experience.
