Aside than the bike i was first given was so big on me and handed an older bike where it was heavy, we had a great experience still. Meagan was awesome and super friendly!

Megan was our tour guide and she was fantastic. We went early and got to experience the sites without the crowds. Highly recommend!
Carmen our tour guide was very informative taking us through a breezy ride at the Malecon boardwalk all the way to Romantic Zone passing by at Puerto Vallarta’s old historical church, Our Lady of Guadalupe. Going back we took the river side passing by Elizabeth Taylor’s old house, market place and cycled our way up to the light house for an amazing view of the city. Such a wonderful experience on our first day exploring Puerto Vallarta by bike and Carmen was a very friendly and cool guide.
Our tour guide, Megan, was amazing! She was very knowledgeable of the art and history of the area. We booked a morning tour so the area wasn’t too busy and we could bike around freely. It was so fun, and one of the highlights of our trip!
This private bicycle tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Puerto Vallarta. Megan was an awesome guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. We especially loved riding along the Malecón and being able to stop whenever something caught our interest to enjoy the sights, take photos, and soak everything in. Because it was a private tour, we could go at our own pace and never felt rushed. It truly felt more like exploring the city with a local friend than being on a structured tour. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta.
Excellent tour for our short stopover from our cruise. We saw sights and experiences that we would not have discovered without the knowledge of Wolfie, our guide.
We took the private bike tour on El Maceon (the boardwalk). Our guide was very nice, though she was not a local and did not have much knowledge of the city and its history, which we had hoped for. We saw the boardwalk, the church, and a few market areas. All in all a pretty good time, but if you’re looking for an in-depth tour you might want to look elsewhere.
JC was an excellent tour guide. It was a small group and he provided a lot of info about PV. We were able to see a lot of PV and we had a great time.
This was a perfect tour! Great way to see this beautiful city which because of this tour is my favorite city in Mexico. There is so much to see and this was a perfect way to plan future nights and activities. The tour guides are down to earth and just fun people to be around. Loved it!
My aunt and I took this bike tour and let me tell you, it was the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide, Augustina, was the best tour guide I have ever had. She knew what she was talking about, she made sure we were safe (I have found that crosswalks are a suggestion in PV), and she made sure we stopped when we needed water or a break. A few of the locations we went to were the pier in the Romantic Zone, the church, and the mosaic courtyard (the mosaics were beautiful). She also took us to the flea market and we loved it so much we went back the next day. At the end of our tour, she recommended Pepe's Tacos around the corner from the shop and it was the best food of the entire trip.
Excellent and kind guide. Can customize the tour based on how you'd like it to be. She passed by too quickly so i couldnt take much pictures. Still, highly recommend.
Just had a private morning bike tour with Augustina who's the best guide in PV! This is a must do excursion to learn all about PV and all the things you would not do/not about...otherwise. Don't miss this one!!!
We had a great time with Agustina! Highly recommend a private bike tour :). She was very kind and patient with our shy kiddo. Great info and recommendations!
Augustina, our guide, was amazing! So friendly, energetic, and very knowledgable. The office was easy to find, bikes in good condition, and the team very helpful. Augustina introduced us to the history of PV and El Malecon and she was so passionate that we immediately felt a connection with the area. The bike tour was our activity the day we arrived in PV and it set the scene for an amazing adventure weekend. This is a must-do!
Booked this bike tour on the strength of the Trip Advisor reviews, and I guess that I just have to pile on … We were excited to learn that our tour guide would be Agustina, who we “knew” by reputation here on Trip Advisor. Despite very high expectations, she was easily able to exceed them. I love hanging out with someone who loves what they do. Agustina loves her adopted city, loves what she does and, for a couple of hours, loved us. Her knowledge, enthusiasm and genuine connection to her clients was apparent from the moment we met her. We had seen some parts of PV that were on the tour itinerary and Agustina — like a fine jazz musician — just improvised, bringing us to other parts of the city that we had not yet explored. She had no hesitation bringing us to places where we had to navigate through tourists on foot, which was a minor challenge, but being in the thick of it all was exactly how we wanted to see the city. Agustina … muchas gracias. Please look us up when you visit SF!
My girlfriend (Veronica) and I took this tour and our guide was Agustina. The tour was not good................. It was OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!! Agustina was a great hostess, she has an excellent knowledge of the history of the city and made us fell like welcome guests. The bikes were in very good condition and we had a very, very enjoyable tour. I would highly recommend this tour and VERY highly recommend Augustina as your guide.
Tour guide was very, very patient with three seniors! Great time! Knowledgeable on the city’s history and the malecon is wonderful!
We arrived in PV by cruise ship. We arranged for a short walk to the Sam’s Club parking lot to be picked up. There was some confusion/ communication mix up regarding pick up time and how to find our driver. Although she was late and wasn’t wearing the black and yellow tshirt we were looking for, we finally found each other. It created a little bit of stress. Once we arrived at the bike shop we were quickly fitted with a helmet and bike. It was wonderful having just the two of us with a guide. Our guide was a young gentleman, Alejandro. He guided us through the boardwalk and a market at a great pace. It was for the most part a flat route. He was friendly and if he didn’t know an answer he would look it up on his phone. Once we finished our 2 hour ride, our driver let us explore downtown PV before driving us back to the port. I would book with this company again.
wonderful excursion as a cruise activity on our own .... Alejandro a great guide!! good exercise! Good price!!
Our tour guide, Agus was amazing. She made it so fun & was knowledgable about the area & answered all our questions. Would definitely recommend her & the trip.
Highly recommend this fun bike tour. Agustina and Fabian were very knowledgeable guides and always concerned for safety.
We thoroughly enjoyed our ride with Augustina through the beautiful streets and scenery of PVR. We showed up early and she offered to take us early on our tour. She was so patient with me, an obese middle aged woman, and tailored the journey to my capabilities. Her English was flawless and she was always upbeat and positive. We would happily tour with Xiutla again!
Not a huge amount of history in Puerto Vallarta, but enjoyed our bike tour w/Augustina who was super easy to chat with. She showed us the major spots along the malecom. We came from a cruise ship and had just a short time, but it worked in perfectly.
Enjoyed our tour as it was a hot day and nice to get out on the bike to move around town. PV was a stop on our cruise. Location was easy to find. Front desk staff spoke little English, and our tour guide spoke partial English. Luckily my husband is fluent so he was able to translate everything at the office and on the tour for me. Tour felt a little short and lacking compared to other bike tours we have been on, but all-in-all it was a nice little excursion.
We had the best time on our bike ride with Augustina! She was so fun and extremely informative. We learned so much about Puerto Vallarta. Augustina keep us safe and was very caring/patient with all my questions! Really enjoyed our bike ride and time with her. Thanks so much!!
The view from the light house overlooking the city was amazing and we really enjoyed our ride along the boardwalk. Our guides were great.
Tina was the best tour guide!! We were able to explore the Malecom boardwalk, learn history of Puerta Vallarta and get recommendations of where to go with our family. And ended with some tasty local ice cream. Highly recommend this for families!
While planning a weekend trip to PV, my friend said she wanted to see the city. I booked this tour, despite our other friend’s “But I don’t exercise!” protests. We got a great dose of local history along with the city sights. Agustina was a fun and fabulous tour guide. She got us set up on comfy, well-fitted bikes, and kept us safe rolling through town. The ride was quite flat since we stayed near the coastline, in bike lanes and on the boardwalk. (My friend was a little sore the next day, but nothing a little hot tub time wouldn’t fix.) We all agreed that it was a great way to see the town and would definitely book with this company again. :)
Thoroughly recommend this tour. Tina and Paige were amazing. Tina knows so much about the City; and was nice enough to take some photos along the way.
Great tour, loved getting the historical info. Lots to see and experience. Our guide was lovely and gave us recommendations about other things to do here.
Augustina is very knowledgeable about Puerto Vallarta and very well liked by the people we encountered along the bike route. Puerto Vallarta should stop developing so the charm of the city remains.
We had a blast with Jean Carlo and Alejandro, they were super fun to hang out with, they know a lot about Puerto Vallarta landmarks and history. We navigated through downtown perfectly and enjoyed the rides through the malecón and downtown, had wonderful sights and this was an easy bike ride with plenty stops and opportunities for pics
Tina was amazing! The tour was fun, informative and such a pleasure. Her energy and enthusiasm made this tour awesome!!
Agustina was our guide and it was an awesome trip. She is extremely knowledgeable and we learned a ton about the history of Puerto Vallarta and we stopped at a number of sculptures and learned about them as well. We even got a really nice surprise near the end of the ride. Bikes were great and we really had a wonderful time.
Augustina was awesome. She was so friendly and knowledgeable and accommodated all our needs. We will definitely be back for more soon. Daniel and Alex
Thanks to Agus for an amazing tour of old town PV. Amy and I learned so much history. We can't wait to come back for an ATV adventure!!! ***** 5 stars for her!!
We took this tour while in port. Christina was our guide. She did an awesome job of giving us knowledge of the area and taking care of our 6 year old while riding his own bike. This gave us a great opportunity to see the heart of PV in a short amount of time. The Malecon is a beautiful place to see the coastline and experience the culture of the town.
Agostina provided excellent guidance and a depth of knowledge about the area. She was energetic and entertaining. The tour itself was fun and interesting and very much adjusted to our priorities and limitations. The one small problem was one bike where the seat couldn’t be adjusted...but overall a great, personalized experience, especially for the price.
Augus (short for Augustina) was our tour guide and could not have been more accommodating on our tour on Christmas Day. This two hour bike tour took us along the Malecon stopping at several public art pieces and sharing the history of how that area was impacted by the hurricane in 2003. Then she took us further into the romantic district where got to see the most famous home(s) in modern PV history and the historical parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We were able to do some brief shopping at a flea market as well. Overall, we were very satisfied with the tour and appreciative of the personalized attention provided by Augus. We feel this tour gave us a better sense of the area and doing so by bike allowed not only for some good exercise but also a more immersive experience. We look forward to returning to PV!
We had an excelent tour guide for two hours that was knowledgeable, friendly, excellent English, did not rush and showed ua all of the historic sports along the way, to include statues, the boardwalk, stores, markets, a famous church, made time for us to relax along the way and shop and even topped off the evening with homemade ice cream. An excellent city tour.
We loved our tour with Fernando. He was very attentive and considerate of our interests. We saw things we never expected to see. The bikes were super comfortable. If you are looking to see Puerto vallarta on bicycle, strongly recommend this tour.
Our guide was great! We learned a lot about the history of Puerto Valletta. Definately would recommend this excersion!
We enjoyed the looseness of our Puerto Vallarta (old town) bike tour. Although we could have gotten an earful on all standard tour attractions as we rode by them, our guide allowed us to just ride and enjoy the sites without the countless stops and even improvised a bit and took us off the tourist circuit onto more local paths. We even stopped and locked up to hike a steep neighborhood hill to see (and appreciate) the residential architecture and then get a birds eye view of the entire city and ocean. Overall, it was a good excursion from the resort and would recommend to all visitors teenager and up who want a little workout and to get in and explore the town a little. Would definitely recommend. Happy trails...
We enjoyed our 2-hour tour with our guide, Carlos. We appreciated the brand new bikes, which we rode on the boardwalk. We also had a chance to walk through a small flea market. At the end of our tour, we enjoyed handmade ice cream from Oaxaca. The morning bike ride offered perfect, cooler weather without too much physical exertion.
We are a family of 4, 2 adults, 2 children (7,16) and had a great afternoon biking and learning about PV. It’s often difficult to find bike tours that accommodate youth biking. JC was great with us and our kids. He kept a good pace for us and ALWAYS made safety his first priority. We were very comfortable traveling the route on the tour with our 7 year old. JC was a wealth of knowledge about PV. This is a family business and we ran into his dad and siblings on the tour and he thanked us for choosing his tour. We highly recommend this bike tour and can’t wait to return to try another tour they offer. Thanks JC for a great afternoon!
This was a fun trip, instructor was very casual and no pressure. The route was mostly areas we had already seen but it was fun on the bike and good opportunity to learn some local background and history.
The guide was nice and worked hard to ensure we had a good trip. The trip is also a good way to see downtown Puerto Vallarta in a short time. However, the bikes were old and in ill-repair. Riding on the bike path and malecon was nice but the route back on the sidewalks in "old town" was difficult to navigate due to the crowded walkways.
The only thing keeping this from being an excellent experience is that they have limited bikes and I was given a very old bike and the brakes didn't work the greatest. JC was our guide and does a great job. He is very informative, speaks English very well and communicates often about what will be next and tips for being safe riding through the city. The ride is easy with many stops where JC provided comments about the history of the city. I highly recommend a tour with JC
Totally enjoyed our tour with Veronica. She was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Great Tour guide. Highly recommended this trip, a lot to see in about 2 hours only. Price is great, Thumps up over all experience.
We booked a private bike tour with JC. He provided much history about the area and the culture. The ride was very casual, no strentious speeds or hills. We stopped multiple locations to get the history of the spot. JC was the most helpful local we encountered during the entire trip. We will try the ATV tours next time with them.
