Private Los Arcos Snorkel And Beach Tour From Puerto Vallarta

We had a great boat ride and snorkeling experience! Loved how private and easy going it was. It was also flexible as we weren’t too interested in going to the more “touristy” beach for lunch after snorkeling. Instead, our guide found us some much smaller, less crowded beaches to spend time at. Would definitely book again!

We had a great experience with Estigo from start to finish. Booking with Jonathan was super easy and transparent. We chosen based on recommendations from friends, and we also wanted to avoid the stress of a shuttle bus pick up and a packed boat. What a good decision! They were there on time at the pier we left promptly. Jesus did in a great job as a tour guide, pointing out the history of Puerto Vallarta and a lot of of the sites along the way. The snorkeling at Los Arcos was gorgeous and they took very good care of us to keep us safe. All the snorkeling gear worked great. But we really appreciated is that they were flexible. We didn’t want to stop for lunch so instead they found a really beautiful private beach where we lounge and snorkeled off the shore. They had a cooler with ice in the boat, which was great for the drinks and snacks we brought with us. It was a really stress-free trip. Would definitely recommend and it’s worth the few extra dollars to do it on a private boat.

We had a great day with Chemi and Ariel (sp?). Great guides and a relaxing and enjoyable day. The timing was perfect as was the lunch spot.

This is a private boat tour so to make the best of it make sure to bring all your food and drinks, although a cooler on board you will need to also bring your own ice. We liked not being in a large group.

The trip was great. We had plenty of time to snorkel. The water at los arcos wasn't great for snorkeling. But the captain and guide took us to another location. It was a great spot. We ended up seeing a ton of fish and spotted an eagle ray. We were taken to los animas for lunch at El Corral. The portions there are generous. Be careful when you order, it is a lot of food. I would totally do this again.

We had such a great time on this tour. The captain and the guide were both awesome. We snorkeled and then went to quimixto. Very highly recommend.

We had a great half day out with Gabriel and Giovanni. Although the snorkeling wasn’t great the day we went due to limited visibility, Gabriel was excellent at spotting action on the water. We saw a turtle, a massive ray, a humpback and her baby as well as a number of fish boils where Gabriel let us fish and pull in a couple of skipjacks. Gabriel was also super knowledgeable and interesting. The trip surpassed our expectations!

It was a great trip. Chema and Jesus were great guides for me and 2 kids (age 11 and 8). I'll Definately book again.

My wife and I went on this tour with Chima and his captain Jesus. It was a great experience! We saw some local communities along the water and had a beautiful lunch. Also did some snorkeling out by los Arcos. I would definitely recommend. Good value for the money.

Gabriel and Samuel were very knowledgeable and polite. They made sure our family was comfortable throughout the trip. We enjoyed watching wild life on the little islands along the way. We even rescued an iguana from water and later released him on the land. Trip was nice and relaxing for us. Nice views during the ride. It was a little windy so the water felt a bit choppy for snorkeling. Beach at the end was very beautiful. Restaurant at the end of trip had decent food options.

We had the most amazing day watching whales and dolphins, eating and drinking, soaking in the sun and swimming at a private beach. Gonzalo was so helpful and the boat team were so accommodating and kind.

This private cruise was a highlight of my recent trip to Puerto Vallarta. Along with 20 other friends we cruised the waters to Los Arcos where we were able to snorkel with the equipment provided. Floating mats for laying about on the water were also a nice touch and swimming in the marine reserve felt magical. Many guests jumped into the water from the highest part of the boat and a photographer was on board to capture every moment including underwater footage of the jumps. We saw whales and rays jumping all the while enjoying the open bar, delicious food and great music on board. The crew was super friendly and attentive offering to replenish our drinks, bringing food around and doing everything to make our experience first class. It was so lovely to get out on the water and look back at the coastline, lounge on the deck and simply relax. This is a well paced excursion and I highly recommend it!

We had an excellent snorkeling experience with Estigo Tours. I haven't been snorkeling for over 30 years (and I'm not in the best shape) but Chema, our guide, took excellent care of us and made sure I was comfortable. It was great to have a tour focused on showing us the beauty of Los Arcos and having fun in the ocean, rather than a booze-cruise. We had plenty of time in the water and options to visit other snorkeling spots or just enjoy the secluded beach. Las Animas beach is a tourist trap, but it was still beautiful and a relaxing spot to enjoy some time after seeing colorful fish, rays, and sea birds.

We had a great time. Marcos made us feel very comfortable and got a wonderful video of us with a sea turtle. We got lucky and it was just us and him. They had plenty of sandwiches and water for us. Would highly recommend!!

Best snorkeling and Yelapa tour in the bay! Catamaran is top notch with comfortable seating, drinks and food. Ricky and the staff are attentive and amazing. The boat isn’t over packed and was very comfortable. We definitely will be booking again!

We had a fantastic time on this Snorkel Tour! The crew spoke better English than I did and were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable. We snorkeled Los Arcos, swam with tropical fish, saw Blue Footied Boobies (a bucket list item of mine that I didn't know was possible at Los Arcos!) and even had Bottlenose Dolphins swim with our boat. It was a magical day and definitely worth the price. I can't wait to use Estigo Tours again for my next adventure.

My husband and I ended up being the only ones on the tour, so it was completely private! Chema was an awesome guide, very down-to-earth, polite, and helpful. We loved snorkeling at Los Arcos! The water temp was perfect and there was a good diversity of fish. And the private beach was beautiful, the water clear and warm, and the food from the restaurant was delicious! Overall, great experience and the time was just right!

Would definitely recommend Estigo Tours. Their communication was great. The guides were very accommodating to our group. The snorkeling gear was excellent. The boat was comfortable. We accidentally left our water bottles on the boat and they contacted us to pick them us. All in all a good experience.

Our private tour to Los Arcos through Estigo Tours was terrific. Chema, our guide, and Manuel, our captain, were both friendly, interesting, and accommodating. Everything about the trip was first rate. The day was fun, relaxing, interesting for the adults and the teens as well.

We had a very nice day on our boat tour. Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our time on Las Animas. The only downside was the snorkeling. That was the main reason I booked the tour, but the water was super murky and no one in group saw a single fish.

The snorkeling was great! We really enjoyed how knowledgeable our guide, Chema, was. He answered all our questions and pointed out local wildlife. Lunch on the beach was also amazing!

Leaving early is definitely the way to go. We enjoyed snorkeling with the tropical fish at Los Arcos, and Las Animas beach was so nice.

My adult daughter and I went on this day trip with Chema and Manuel. We had a great day on the water. The snorkeling was OK (clarity wasn't great) but we did see fish. Enjoying the beautiful beaches from the boat, stopping at Los Animas for beach and lunch was great - freshly caught red snapper grilled on an open fire - amazing!! Our guide gave us a memorably and fun day of boating, snorkeling and tour the coast from Puerto Vallarta to the Arches and then to Las Animas beach where we had a great lunch at the Conos seafood restaurant. And then back by 1pm. We squeezed in a few minutes of whale watching also once we spotted a pod.

This was a fantastic excursion. Alexis, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The snorkeling was so fun and lots of beautiful fish. The highlights were Los Condos, where we are lunch, and Alexis taking us out to scout humpback whales. It was an amazing day for the entire family. Thank you for helping us create lasting family memories.

This was perfect for our family of 5. Had a great time snorkeling. Also caught a fish as we were traveling. The beach and restaurant was nice as well. They also took us all the way to the cruise ship doc which was out of their way, but was very nice of them. Highly recommend these guys

Chema and boat pilot (Manuel?) were great. Both were personable and knowledgeable. Enjoyed talking with them. Manuel spotted a turtle on the way back.

We were in PV for my Mom's 80th birthday. Jonathan was our guide and did a great job of pointing out areas of interest, along with the Manta Ray's with their aspirations of becoming birds. The small boat was perfect as it gave us the flexibility we wanted. (Our time, our choice.) The trip was just right of us. Would HIGHLY recommend. Thanks for a wonderful day!

I liked the snorkeling. We saw a whale. I liked riding in the boat. Lunch was expensive but tasty. There was a parrot.

Excellent excursion!! Jonathan and Chema were knowledgeable and professional. They made us feel like family. They were organized and knew the area very well. We learned a lot about Puerto Vallarta and even about the sea life. We stopped to eat and swim. Everyone is so very friendly. I would definitely recommend this excursion. It was amazing!

Our family had a private tour that was amazing. The boat ride to Los Arcos and then to Yelepa was great. Both Chema and Carlos, our boat captain, were amazing! We had a basic schedule but since it was private, they allowed us to spend as much time as we wanted with each activity. We had a great experience snorkeling and then we went on to Yelepa. It was a short hike to the waterfall and it really was a dream come true. Our family absolutely loved swimming under the waterfall. We loved the background and history that Chema was able to share with us. After we finished at the waterfall, we had a great meal back on the beach. I would definitely recommend this tour.

This tour is a great mix of some time in the ocean (about 20-30 minutes snorkeling) along with some down time at a more private (as compared with Los Muertos) beach. Jonathan and Chema were awesome as guides and both very knowledgeable about all sorts of things and their reggaetón playlist was definitely a bonus! The area around Los Arcos is really beautiful but the water was really murky so was a bit hard to see too much but that’s not the guides’ fault. Once we arrived at Las Animas we were recommended lunch at Los Conos (obviously with connections to our operator) but both the food and service were great. The water at the beach was likewise really murky and it smelled of gasoline due to all of the boats parked right near shore but, again, not really the fault of our operators. Would certainly recommend Estigo and both Jonathan and Chema and just hope for better water conditions overall.

Beach Boy tour, we had a great experience, starting boarding at the marina, were you are able to buy last minute necessities, BTW make sure you have a swimming suit, towel, sunglasses, sunscreen, Dramamine, cell phone pouch, etc. Breakfast is included, coffee, juice, later soda and mixers. If you want you can snorkel around los Arcos, the las Ánimas beach for lunch and other activities like parachute, jet ski, etc. On the way back to port we all were able to party and have a blast.

My friends and I had a blast on this snorkeling tour! The Snorkeling site was amazing, we saw so many fish and cool ocean life. We ate at an amazing restaurant and saw some beautiful scenery on the tour. Jonathan and Chema were great guides and made sure we had a fantastic time. I highly recommend!
