Off-road Atv-quad Tour With Transportation Included

The ATV guided mountain ride was an eye opening experience - such beautiful nature in Puerto Vallarta! The guides were friendly and accommodating - making sure everyone was ok the whole ride. The lady at the mezcal/tequila/taco making tasting session was welcoming and cheerful. They also had sodas and apple juice available. The shallow dipping pools by the river at the Rancho Mi Abuelo restaurant were refreshing (wear swimwear under your clothes if you want to take a dip), followed by tasty Quesadillas and lemonade that were purchased at the restaurant. There were so may beautiful butterflies and gorgeous jungle scenery during the ride. I was mesmerized by the blue morpho and white morpho butterflies, as well as the numerous clusters of smaller white, orange and yellow butterflies. Remember to wear bug spray to avoid getting bitten by tiny no-see-ums that may be near the river. There were bathrooms available during the tasting and restaurant break spots. Spotting little chihuahuas on the ride up the mountain were an adorable sight. Bring cash for tips.

So much fun! Guides were great. Tequila tasting and tortilla making was fun. Great views of the jungle. I’d recommend this to anyone.

This was our first time in Puerto Vallarta, and it was such an amazing experience! A huge thank you to Uriel for making it so memorable. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had the best time throughout the tour. His partner also took lots of great photos and videos for us, which gave us wonderful memories to take home. We really appreciated all the effort he put into making our experience special. Highly recommend Uriel if you’re visiting Puerto Vallarta—you won’t be disappointed!

This was so much fun! The amount spent on the ATV is well worth what we paid. The stops we made were great. And the tour guides Roberto and Juan were so informative, knowledgeable and cared about our safety. They made our experience very memorable!

​I recently did the ATV tour with Dirty Monkey, and overall, it was a fun experience. Our tour guide, Sergio, was great—he was very attentive, polite, and made sure everyone in the group stayed completely safe throughout the trip. ​However, if you are looking for a true, high-adrenaline adventure, this might feel a bit too tame. I was really looking forward to a thrilling rush, but the tour felt a little too cautious. For example, every time we approached a big puddle of water—which would have been awesome to splash through—Sergio had us navigate around it. It felt like the priority was more about making sure we absolutely didn't scratch or crash the ATVs rather than letting us experience the rugged excitement of an off-road adventure. ​I didn't really get that adrenaline rush I was craving. It’s a good, safe tour if you want a casual ride, but if you're looking for a wild, muddy, fast-paced adventure, it might fall a bit short. Shout out to Sergio for being a solid guide, though!

Amazing experience, Sergio was a great guide we had solo ATVs and tequila tasting. We stopped at a restaurant with pools and had a couple of drinks. A little on the pricey side so be prepared. Over all an amazing experience dont pass it up.

The tour was very organized Sergio and his team are very accommodating! We also got a free shuttle pick up / drop off too.

The Dirty Monkey ATV experience was ok. It is well organized and everyone was very friendly. The ATV’s seemed relatively new and well maintained. The ATV tour itself was only ok. It was up a 4-5km road with some other local traffic to an area where they try to sell tequila. Then back down the road to a bar with swim area. The trip had no off-roading but very cool experience if you’ve never been on an ATV before. In my opinion an over priced drive up and down a road. Also, photos at the were cool but asking $2000 Paso.

This ATV tour was hands down one of the highlights of my trip to Mexico. From start to finish, everything was well organized and super fun. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made safety a priority while still letting us fully enjoy the ride. We drove through incredible scenery—dusty jungle trails, and some seriously beautiful views you’d never see otherwise. The ATVs were in great condition and easy to handle, even for beginners. There were plenty of stops for photos and to catch our breath.

I originally booked this trip for 10 people. My brother‘s family had to return to the US unexpectedly and so I cancelled the trip for 5 people more than 48 hours before the event was to take place (the policy states more tha 24hrs gets a full refund). However, Dirt Monkey refused to provide a refund and blamed Viatour which blamed Dirt Monkey. Total scam.

All staff are super friendly and attentive. Everything is planned so well and comfortable. The ride provided culture and beautiful scenery. Go for it! You will enjoy the experiece!

German was an amazing host. My lady and I had an amazing time viewing the amazing mountains and cruising through the dirt roads. Could not recommend Dirty monkey enough for a fun excursion. 11/10

Awesome Job with Sergio and our family had a lot of fun. The trip out for the four hour version was a long amount of ATV riding into the mountains. Tequila tasting not too bad and the fresh tortillas was nice. But too few.

Overall, this is a nice activity. The ride through the mountains provides lovely views and a break from the usual Puerto Vallarta activities. Our guide was informative and safety-conscious. Communication with the vendor was very efficient and easy. A few points to consider. Transportation to the departure point was included from a pickup point in the hotel zone but there was nowhere to park our car there, so we followed the driver to the departure location that was about 18 mins from our hotel. Not a big deal, but an unexpected detail. If using the transportation provided from the hotel area, taxi or Uber to the pickup point is the best option. The ride is VERY rough and dusty. There is light traffic on the road and other drivers are considerate. A tip is expected at the tequila tasting and tortilla stop, where you press a small ball of masa to make a tortilla and smash a bit of salsa ingredients for it. There is a rather hard sell to buy the tequila. A photographer follows you to take photos and video to review at the end of the trip and purchase, if you wish. If you prefer to not have the photography, I suggest that you mention that before your ride departs. We were on the 9a ride. Since we had breakfast beforehand, we took some snacks and beverages with us. There is a 40-minute stop to buy food and beverages and walk around a lush area at the "waterfall" (basically a small cascade).

This really was awesome!! The ride was fun Armando, Uriel, and Ramses were great and took care of us. We would definitely do it again!!

High touch, friendly staff and an immersive experience through the Mexican mountainside. Combined great vistas, educational moments, good food and lots of photo finish moments. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get outside and do something adventurous.

The tour guides were amazing and I highly recommend this excursion. The views were some of the best I had ever seen. I got to pet a dog, a cat, hold a bird, and a banana spider (willingly of course). Such a great experience!

Swimming in the river even though it was cold easily got used to it clean and fresh and driving the quad up the mountain.... seeing the view from above Sergio my tour guide was the best super chill and kept us safe

Tour guides Sergio and chema were great.. it was fun experience… we did a private group of 5.. it was safe and would definitely recommend it again.. would like more time time at the restaurant with the river .. other than that it was still pretty cool.
