Full-day Private Sailing & Los Arcos Snorkeling, Puerto Vallarta

Fantastic tour for snorkeling at los arcos park and also they take you to a beach where kids can have fun in the water as it is very calm. The food is another highlight, ver fresh and good flavor. The boat was spacious and very well kept Thank you to the crew that made this a very special day for me and my family of 5.

15 people (kids and adults) — just meh. Did not go to los arcos which we kind of expected. Instead they anchor at a tiny beach about a half mile away where you are supposed to snorkel by some rocks near shore in the surf. They did not have kid size snorkeling gear which was ok because our kids just like goggles which we brought. About 4 other boats anchor at the same meh beach. After that we sailed back very slowly. I did not realize they were going so slow to ensure we got our fulll 6 hr tour. We just wanted to get off the boat and out of the sun. Very very little shade. The guys were good and the food and drinks were as expected. But I thought they may talk to us more and explain where we were going and what we were doing. I wish I would have told them we wanted to get back asap. Probably just the wrong tour for our group.

Our family had a wonderful boat ride with the crew. Gustavo, Felix, and Ruiz we’re all fantastic. It was a very peaceful boat ride and we really loved the sailboat. They have a wonderful service and went out of their way. We also love the margaritas!

We loved the laid back style. Weather was perfect. Captain, Richardo & crew were a wonderful crew. Lunch was delicious. Not heavy but fruit, ceviche, chips & sandwiches. Drinks plentiful

From the moment we met Ricardo at the meeting point, he was outstanding! Friendly, funny and easy going. At first I thought six hours may have a little too much time, but it was perfect!! We came with our adult kids ages 23-26 and they had a blast!! They snorkeled, paddle boarded, jumped off the sail boat, laid out. The fajitas were delicious!! And their service top notch. Always asking if we needed anything else. I would recommend this crew Ricardo, Diego and captain (can’t remember his name 🤦🏻‍♀️) 10/10!! You will Not be disappointed!! Ricardo was hilarious, always making us laugh 😂

We were 2 grandparents, parents and 2 kids (10 and 7) out on the water for a full day sail. It was very relaxing. Angel is so kind and attentive. He is a talented host and chef and made us excellent food and drinks. I saw in other reviews how good the ceviche and margaritas were, but I had to email the company to add it on and then paid cash on the boat. I wonder if booking directly makes that easier. We had some rough water and the kids were a little sea sick. Not a big deal, but they would've preferred the half day. We should've used those patches or dramamine, but they've never had a problem on boats before. Season wasn't right for snorkeling and the paddleboard had popped. I would've liked to do those.

The captain and crew were attentive to all of our needs the moment we stepped abored the sailboat! Extremely welcoming throughout our trip..our whole family felt it was THE BEST EXPERIENCE..absolutely incredible time!

Really wonderful charter. We were lucky enough to be here mid March which was the height of whale season. They were out in force, humpback whales swimming under our sailboat. It was incredible! This was our second time renting from them and it was great both times. Super nice captain and crew. Private beautiful sailboat with full bar, nice sandwich lunch, and very knowledgeable guide. Be careful of swimming/snorkeling if the water is choppy, especially with kids, the currents can be crazy. Bring pants long sleeve shirt and hat because the all day sun is strong!

Friendly crew, impeccable boat, great snacks, nicely shaded, respectful of the nature, great guide with info about whales and dolphins. Loved having private boating trip with just my family- a nice break from the crowded cruise ship.

The crew was amazing! Met us at the pier, the guacamole and drinks were very good. We did get to see two sea turtles. My only complaint is the sails never opened so we used a engine which is fine except for the exhaust. Snorkeling was not a option so we swam in one area before heading back. We did have two females that kept the staff super busy. I would suggest this if you have been to port and want a relaxing day on the water. If your not steady on your feet this is not the tour for you.

We had a fabulous day with our crew!! It was a dreamy experience!! They all took good care of us and were very friendly!! We loved the fresh fruit platters and the guacamole and chips hot the spot!! We loved hearing and learning about Purerta Vallarta and about sea life etc. that Angel had to share with us!! We would recommend this excursion to everyone!! We loved snorkeling and relaxing on this awesome sail boat!! We would do this again next time we visit!! Thanks a bunch to the whole crew!!

Regardless of what you ask for they will take you to one spot while fishing themselves and will not take you anywhere else. Also, this is sailboat that only idles as slow as it can to conserve gas. They don’t actually sail on this sailboat. I thought we would get a customized experience, but all we got was a very slow rocking boat.

There was just two of us and everything was superb. Great food and amazing service. Definitely would do again.

Amazing time, we were greeting by the nicest crew we could have asked for. We were served freshly cut fruit, and went to a beautiful location where we were able to paddle board and snorkle. Then, took off for an amazing sailing adventure with fresh chips and guacamole and had amazing freshly made drinks. I will definitely come back for a second adventure!

Awesome trip! Boat was exactly what we wanted for our 13 member family. Crew was very kind, and went off without a hitch! I'd maybe suggest doing 8 hours over 6... We chose not to extend, but in retrospect, I wish we would have as our kids wanted to swim some more!

Ricardo, Luis, and Felix were terrific hosts during our entire six hour tour. Their service was impeccable—we never wanted for anything—and they expertly guided us through snorkeling and paddle boarding while we learned about the local sealife and Puerto Vallarta. It was the perfect day.

I had the best time ever on a private cruise in Puerto Vallarta, having had a terrific day. The crew was friendly and well-versed in the area, and the yacht itself was exquisite. We had a great day snorkeling in the pristine waters and discovering hidden nooks.

The sailboat tour was a memorable part of our trip, with a focus on enjoying the ocean and taking in the sights at a relaxed pace and sailing. We started on the Marina and headed towards the south part of Pv using the engine, luckily we got more wind while returning and we were able to sail back.

The 4 hour sailboat ride allowed for a peaceful retreat at sea, offering a refreshing break from the usual tourist activities that can be found in Puerto Vallarta. I wanted to make it longer but there was no availability. Oh welll!

We were fortunate to spot turtles and dolphins during our 6-hour sailboat charter adding a natural element to our sailing experience, plus we got to sail with a colorful sail (forgot the name).

Great trip! Our group consisted of 5 adults, just family. We had an amazing crew (Captain Luis, Angel and Israel). They were very attentive and professional. We ordered the calm sea package (just kidding!). The water was very calm during the entire day. We’ve never seen the sea so calm. We sailed to Los Arcos and anchored off a small beach where we enjoyed the water for over a hour without any rush. Once onboard, we relaxed with lunch. The crew prepared an awesome guacamole and excellent sandwiches. They made margaritas so delicious, even better than what we could get at the hotel. The boat was very spacious and clean. We had so much room to chill in the sun. The personal service, amazing food, ample drinks, and great scenery were worth it. Great communications with the company (Anamar) as soon as we booked the trip. We’d do it again in a heartbeat.

We absolutely loved our day sailing and would highly recommend it. We would do another trip with Anamar in a heartbeat! 8 of us took a 6 hour trip on a beautiful 48' sailboat. Our group included 2 seniors (75+), 2 adults, and 4 kids (ages 9-17). We all loved it. We booked directly with Anamar through their website. There was a slight mix up on booking but Anamar took full accountability, addressed it quickly, and we were able to find a solution that worked great! Full stars to Anamar for their professionalism. We also had trouble with locating the meeting point. First, our taxi dropped us off on the wrong street. Secondly, we were looking for a physical location/store front but you are really looking for a person (in a grey shirt)! This was our misunderstanding. Once on board, we enjoyed great music, a great crew and delicious snacks. The boat was spacious and had a bathroom. There were plenty of comfortable seating options, both shaded and in the sun. The crew put up a sunshade as well. The boat was stable and my parents could walk around. The crew was constantly available to assist, share information, answer our questions, and serve beer and beverages for the kids. We love to fish, so my parents were thrilled when the crew hauled out their fishing gear. We caught one fish but released it. We had one stop included so we could snorkel, paddleboard, and play in the water. It was the very end of March. The water wasn't very clear but that didn't matter to us and we still had a great time. Lifejackets were provided for snorkeling as was the snorkel gear (although we brought our own). There were other boats at the place we stopped but, again, that didn't bother us especially as the boats can't get that close to each other anyways. The feeling of being out on the water is amazing. I will buy a sailboat if I ever win the lottery. I enjoyed the scenery and watching the coast, the older kids napped and the crew let my youngest son 'drive'. He loved it!! Delicious snacks were served after snorkeling. On the way back, we got to see a whale calf playing in the water. A fantastic end to a fantastic day!! I highly recommend this trip. The price on a per person basis is a great value, far better than the value of a snorkeling trip alone in our opinion. We hope to go back to PV again next year and would definitely book with Anamar again.

During the 4 hour sailboat tour, we used the paddle boards, the kids swam and listened to good music! Nice option to do a quick and different tour.

This 4 hour sailboat tour offered serene coastal views of Downtown PV on a relaxing way, perfect for a laid-back day on the water with friends and family.

Luis, Feliz and Ramona were excellent hosts, very fun and they took good care of us. The snorkeling this time of year is not good, the water is green and not much to see but it was fun getting in the water and it wasn't too cold. One suggestion for Luis is to have size Large fins available. The food was excellent, all in all a great day on the water, we even saw a momma humpback whale with her baby.

WOW! If I could, I would give this private cruise 10 stars. We were in PV with our friends (2 couples) and booked this cruise before we left Canada. The sailboat is incredible, the service was truly remarkable, the guacamole, pico de gallo, margaritas were honestly the BEST we ate on our whole trip (stayed at Vidanta). DO let them prepare food and drinks for you - truly incredible. We will absolutely sail with these two again, and again, and again! BEST day! Thank you, thank you Alberto and Ballo!!

Amazing tour! Ricardo was a great host, serving drinks, lunch, touring us around Banderas Bay, and keeping everyone smiling. The boat was way nicer than we expected, a 40+ foot sailboat with cabin and bathroom that were very comfortable. The whole package was very affordable with a first class private tour, open bar, and lunch. We had two couples and one teenager and it was great, probably could have comfortably had 2-3 more people.

I’m a sailor of 25 years. Echos of Summer is a 48 foot center cockpit Maple Leaf sloop. She’s gorgeous and steady, built in the 1970s, you can feel her weight and solidity. We saw 23 knots and her ride was very smooth and steady! For tourists, she’s got lots of padded room on the foredeck, cover in the comfortable and roomy cockpit. The crew was amazing! Competent and friendly, totally accommodating. Captain Luis let this old salt take the helm for a bit. He’s been running boats for a quarter century and knows what he’s doing. Crew, Angel, was a hoot! Totally fun and hard working first mate. Francisco was friendly and shared info about local culture, sea life and birds and was just sweet as could be. I cannot recommend more highly, as a sailor, skipper, and tourist.

We had a wonderful time on a 6 hour sailboat cruise. The crew was amazing and very informative, we learned a lot about the whales we saw from the 1st mate. Food and drinks were great and the sailboat was spacious and clean. Can’t wait to sail again with Anamar

The sunset tour exceeded our expectations. The captain navigated us to the perfect spot, and we witnessed a lovely sunset while we saw whales and dolphins breaching nearby. The crew made sure everyone had a fantastic time with music and drinks. A must do definitely in PV.

We watched humpback whales glide right past our beautiful 48’ sailing yacht, snorkeled in a secluded bay, paddle boarded and swam, all while our busy crew took great care of us. They served us fresh fruit, a veggie tray and delicious guacamole and chips! And then the sails went up and we sailed across the beautiful bay while watching whales breach on the horizon. It was a perfect and lovely day! You won’t be disappointed!

I honestly don't even know where to begin. We booked this for our son's 30th birthday. Israel, Louis, and Paula were beyond amazing. They treated us like royalty. The food, drinks, conversation made this a family memory! Thank you so much! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Fantastic day of sailing, whale watching and snorkeling with friends! The crew was very professional and knowledgeable. We had a group of 9 including 2 kids. More than enough room for everyone. The boat comfortable, clean and well take care of. Will definitely go back next year!

Our family of six had a magical time on this beautiful sailboat. Our captain, Luis, and his first mate, Cesar, were both excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. The food and drink was delicious too! Although the weather was not as cooperative as we would have liked, Luis and Cesar did a great job ensuring we enjoyed our day on the water. You will not be disappointed!

We had the absolute BEST time with Angel and his team! The beautiful views and guacamole alone was worth it, and we couldn’t have asked for a more magical Christmas Day. On the sail back to the marina, we spotted a few dolphins and went to get a closer look. To our surprise, we were surrounded by a pod of two to three hundred dolphins of two different species. It was one of the most beautiful things we’ve ever experienced in our life! We were a group of 6 and the sailboat was very spacious. We stopped for a swim and enjoyed hanging out in the water. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an amazing day at sea with a super accommodating team! This was a Christmas Day we’ll surely never forget :)
