Boat And Snorkel Tour To 5 Islands Of Los Arcos

It was a great boat ride and snorkel trip. Learned a lot about the birds and animals that call the 5 islands of Arcos home. The water was warm and the fish were plentiful. Diego was an awesome guide and Louis a superb captain.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. Pancho is a wonderful and helpful guide, also hilarious and charming! The informative nature of his guiding was very appreciated, and the tour itself is spectacular. We thought 40 minutes of snorkelling would be too long, but before we knew it, it was time to go. Diego and Luis were terrific guides. They were extremely informative about the history and the wildlife at Los Arcos. Also they were extremely patient with first time snorkelers and awesome guides in the water. HIGHLY recommend!

Our guide, Andres, made everything run smoothly and led a fantastic adventure! An easy bus ride, an informative boat tour of the islands and then a refreshing dip in the ocean to snorkel with the beautiful fish! The beach restaurant afterwards was great as well! Very good value!

Guillermo was a great guide, and though the tour had to be cut slightly short because of a rainstorm, we enjoyed the snorkeling tour. On the downside it is a fairly long bus ride on a crowded city bus from the pickup point to Mismaloya Beach where the actual snorkeling tour begins. The facilities for changing and the restroom accommodations were minimal but effective. Because the warm water had so many types of colorful fish when we were snorkeling, overall the tour was worthwhile.

This is a great tour! Sebastian and Juan Carlos were our guides and did a wonderful job meeting us, guiding us from start to finish, and most of all making sure we had a great time! We will look for them for future tours. Thank you!

Overall, the experience was about what we expected. Our guide, Sebastian, was friendly and pleasant. We met him at a bus stop, took about a 20-minute bus ride, walked to the boat, and then took a boat trip to the islands. The islands were beautiful, and we enjoyed hearing some of the local stories and taking photos. The snorkeling, however, was a bit disappointing. The water was quite wavy, visibility wasn’t great, and we didn’t see many fish. Also, there were problems with the shower and we didn’t have a chance to wash off salty water. Overall, it was a nice experience to see the islands on a beautiful day, but the snorkeling was not a highlight and showers were not functional.

Fun experience, travel light and bring cash for food and drinks afterwards!!!! All equipment provided

Very short time to actually snorkel with poor equipment, nothing visible in the water. Water conditions where cloudy.

This was such a beautiful wonderful and amazing experience. We saw so many fish and water was so warm. Our tour guy was Sebastian he was super friendly, informative and helpful. I would recommend this booking to everyone!! Be ready for those waves they may make you a bit seasick so make sure you bring slat crackers or take motion sickness medicine before if you tend to get motion sickness!

The pickup and trip was well planned out. We had a blast seeing all the fish species and enjoyed our guide Diego. He was a fun guy to hang with and a knowledgeable guide. His boat captain Luis and him did a phenomenal job. We recommend them to anyone!

An absolutely amazing trip! Being a little older and a little slower our guide, Andreas, was very patient with us and kept an eye on us the whole time we were in the water. Perfect amount of time in the water but boy was the area full! Great information was shared about everything in the area.

Right from the start he gave us a super warm welcome and made us feel completely comfortable and safe. His level of professionalism, patience, and attention to detail was incredible. He explained everything perfectly and stayed attentive to us throughout the activity. You can really tell his passion for his work. Without a doubt, Guillermo is a 10/10 instructor. Very beautiful. However, the water tastes like gas, and it is very hard to stay underwater without getting a headache or feeling gross. When a few of my group members had had enough of the water, we went looking for our tour guide, and he had disappeared completely. After we looked for him for a while, my friend and I got very anxious and uncomfortable. Once on the boat, three of us had had enough and wanted to go back early, but the man did not speak English, so we had to beg him to let us leave. All of this combined, I would not do this again and would not recommend it.

Such a great and highly recommended experience if you're going to be Puerto Vallarta! Bruno was amazing! Has a great personality and very informative. The water was under sea life were almost breath taking. Again highly recommend

Thank you to our guide, Bruno! He was very nice and funny, and he helped us take some great photos on the boat. He also carefully introduced each island to us. During the snorkeling experience, he showed us where we could find more fish and stayed nearby the entire time to assist us. We really enjoyed the snorkeling experience. The whole experience felt very safe, and we had plenty of time to snorkel. We saw so many fish! The price was great, and we would definitely do this experience again. I recommend bringing your own towel and water. The only small downside is that you need to take a local bus to and from the beach because it is located in a more remote area. However, Bruno was amazing and clearly explained how to take the bus and where to get off. For the return trip, I would recommend taking an Uber. An Uber from the beach to the port costs around $10 and is much more comfortable. That said, taking the local bus is also a pretty unique experience!

Diego & Luis were excellent guides! Diego took us on the public bus to Mismaloya & Luis was the water taxi captain. The experience feels very local & it was a great time.

We truly enjoyed this tour! Our guides Alexander and Edward were awesome and explained everything in detail... ie. What movies were filmed in the area, what fish we would see, why turtle island was called Tortuga, etc. Snorkeling was awesome and we saw a lot of cool fish! It was neat to be able to go thru the cave as well. We had such a great time that we ended up booking another full day tour with them a few days later! Highly recommend the Los Arcos boat tour with snorkeling. It was an awesome and memorable excursion!

My children and I came in on a cruise ship and hired an Uber to get to the meeting point at 10am which was about 20-25 minutes away. I scheduled a second uber to pick us up at 2:30 from the same location to take us back to the cruise ship. The timing was perfect. Bruno met us at the meeting point, advised us to grab some snacks and water from OXXO and we jumped onto a public bus to take us to the boats. The bus ride was so easy. The tour was amazing. Boating around the five islands was absolutely gorgeous, the water was crystal clear and the bluest of blue. We loved snorkeling through one of the caves and diving to touch the bottom of the ocean. There were SO many fish it was unreal. Bruno swam along side us the entire time pointing out cool fish and having fun. As a single mom with kids, I was a little wary with the different travel transitions for this tour but it was so simple. There was no stress. We made it back to our cruise ship with hours to space. I highly recommend this tour.

Fun trip to a beautiful location! We love snorkeling and enjoyed this tour a lot. We really appreciated taking the public bus! Diego, our guide, was knowlegable and engaging. The fish and birds were plentiful and the sights were beautiful. We had a lot of fun even though it was threatening to rain, thanks to captain Luis!

The guide was very kind. He focused on the team from the moment we boarded the boat until the activity ended. Although the number of fish and the clarity of the water were somewhat disappointing, I would say this is a must-do tour here. Even if you cannot swim, the guide will help you.

A lot fun and great guides! If you arent a great swimmer the guide may have to tow you back to the boat as currents get strong while snorkeling.

I booked this excursion and had an amazing experience from start to finish. Our guide, Andres, was fantastic! Before we even got in the water, he shared so much interesting history and information about the area, which made the snorkeling experience even more meaningful. The pickup location was convenient, and there were water and snacks available for purchase before we left, which was a nice bonus. Throughout the entire excursion, I felt safe and well taken care of. The price was honestly a steal for everything that was included. I would have happily paid more because the experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta!

Diego and Luis were absolutely excellent! We really enjoyed this experience and you could tell that they are very considerate of the natural area versus some of the other large boats that were dumping people in the water to swim for 10 mins and then get back out. We had a great guided experience with Diego in the water with us and Luis as captain, plus we learned a lot about the natural area, the history of the town, and even helped rescue a bird that had been stranded in the water. I had two kids and two older folks with our group and everyone was very well supported. The swimming in the cave was a little taxing for the older folks and the youngest as the current was pretty strong and you are trying to avoid touching the rocks, but we were never scared. We were there on a clear day and saw so much marine life under us - absolutely beautiful. Also, really appreciated Diego getting us to and from the meeting point. It was all super smooth and starting at the Oxxo is helpful because you can get drinks and a snack for later. I recommend having a drink + a spare for after, and also something for a snack. The options for a quick snack are not abundant for food/beverages when you finish, so the prices are at a premium, too.

This is a very easy way to visit Los Arcos and snorkel in one of the coolest spots. The activity starts with a mellow bus ride to Mismaloya, then onto a boat where we tour all islands and finally 45 minutes to snorkel. Sebastian was great, and everyone else was super helpful! We had a great time, and finished our tour in 4 hours.

Bruno did a great job!! He kept us safe the whole time from beginning to end. The waiting was in front of the Oxxo. We ate at a local place across the street from the Oxxo until it was time to board. It is very hot so pack smart, you do get on a city bus and if you aren't used to it, it can feel like a hotbox on the bus. We had so much fun looking at the fishes, the water was very clear was worth every penny.

We loved this tour, and we don't typically love tours. Our guide Bruno was so good! He gave us the historical background to the five islands and the legends behind them. We stopped to snorkel and saw so many fish! It was beautiful and felt like a local take. We loved riding the public bus to Mismaloya, which felt safe and easy, and we were able to see locals on their daily commutes. Our guide made sure to see us on and off safely at the end of the tour. One thing to note, leave your valuables behind, because there wasn't a great spot to leave things when snorkeling.

3/4 of the trip is a city bus to and from. I should have done a water taxi without the tour. The village smelled of human waste. The walkway had a couple of bridges and stairs that are very unsafe. The guide is a nice guy. I just felt it wasn't worth my time.

Amazon experience with Diego and Samir ( captain). Diego made sure that he explained everything in English as well. My son and I don’t know how to swim and Diego keeping a tab in us. Great experience to see all the islands and snorkeling.
