We had so much fun on this taco tour with Homero. Lots of stops in 4 different neighborhoods and a good variety of tacos + desserts. The bikes were easy to ride, even on the cobblestone sections. We even received a map to take with us with all of the stops (and more) in case we wanted to go to any of them again. Put this tour on your To Do list!

We had a great time on the Bikes and Bites tour. The ride was relaxed and gave us some great stops. We got information about the neighborhoods as well as the families who live there and ran the taco stands. Even a mechanical issue didn’t derail the ride. He had items to try to salvage the tire long enough to get back to the original shop and a replacement bike. Highly recommend.

Homero was a fantastic guide, he was very knowledgeable about the restaurant stops and neighborhoods we biked thru. This tour was a great way to experience both food and the city. I would highly recommend a tour with Vallarta Food Tours - it was easily one my favourite things I did while I was in Puerto Vallarta.

This tour was a highlight of our trip to Puerto Vallarta! You might think the tour starts too early for tacos, but because of the heat and with the bike ride, you definitely will work up an appetite. Each taco was more delicious than the last and our guide, having grown up in PV, was super knowledgeable about the city and how it's changed over the years. This is a tour I'd actually do again if I'm ever back in PV and would recommend to anyone who likes tacos, being active and learning about the history of the city.

Highly recommend this tour. We - parents and adult child - rode pedal-assisted bikes through some of the most charming and interesting neighborhoods in PV, including the Zona Romantica and the Malecon. Our guide, Homero, is a local whose love for and knowledge about the city is evident the minute you meet him. He knows where the best tacos are, for sure, as well as other lovely treats. Some of the streets are cobbled, and some have daily traffic, so you need to pay attention to your surroundings while riding. But Homero was great in preparing us for each stretch by telling us what to expect, and clearly communicating with hand signals as we rode. All in all, we had a blast, learned so much about the city and its history, and at a lot of good food. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat.

Homero was a great guide. I really enjoyed seeing the city by bicycle. It was mostly level and easy. We had excellent tacos at 4 local places and several other stops including a chocolate shop. Highly recommended if you want something slightly unique.

This was a great tour. This was my first time in Puerto Vallarta and this was a great way to see Centro and Zona Romantica. I knew there was food involved in the tour but I never expected 4 tacos, ice cream and a drink. Some of the food was amazing. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see part of the city.

An amazing morning filled with yummy tacos and the adventure of riding our bikes on the cobblestones!

We had an excellent bike tour of several taco restaurants with a local guide who helped us get to know Puerto Vallarta. We enjoyed the food, the guide’s information, and zipping around on bicycles. A trip highlight! Do this tour early in your visit so you can return to your favorite places.

This was a perfect 1/2 day trip, we did it in around 3 hours. Learned a lot about the different sections of the city. The ride is about 5-6 miles in total with 4 food stops, 2 desert stops and a custom cocktail at the end of the tour. Our guide was great and friendly. Would recommend to everyone.

This was our 3rd year doing this tour. It is a great way to sample traditional Mexican tacos and learn some history of the city. For the 3rd year in a row we were fortunate enough to have Homero as are guide. He is extremely knowledgeable of the area and eateries, and great at getting us safely through any traffic. My husband and I both highly recommend this tour!!

Amazing way to see the city as well as enjoy tacos you wont be finding on your own. Homero was a great guide. One of the stops is a block down from where he grew up so he knows the area and the people in the restaurants he is taking you to. Very knowledgable about the city and gave a ton of insight into why things are like they are or done like they are all along the tour. I would highly encourage you to consider this tour for the history lesson, the culture, the sights, and, oh yeah, the amazing tacos!!

Homero was an amazing guide! Food was great too! My wife and I went first tour in the morning on Saturday, Valentine’s Day, and we were the only ones. Homero was super informative and gave tons of suggestions of other places to visit and see as well! Highly recommend!

We loved the family stories and history behind each place we visited. Stay close to the guide, especially when stopped to eat. With all the noise around, it could be difficult to hear all the detailed history.

The Guide was great and the different tacos were amazing. The roads in PV are mostly rocks which makes it a little less enjoyable and challenging to ride a bike. It is just not a comfortable ride as if the roads were somewhat smooth. This is no fault of the tour agency or guide. It is just what it is and something to know so your expectations can be adjusted knowing this.

Great size, guide, and destinations! They may not have mapped exactly to the itinerary listed here, so don't bank on going to a specific place, but all were delicious, and the guide was welcoming and knowledgable.

Awesome experience cycling around Puerto Vallarta, and getting to try authentic local tacos. All were so tasty! The pace of the ride was good, and not too difficult for a beginner. Homero was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and made the tour fun for everyone. He even gave us recommendations for other local taco restaurants to try. Would highly recommend this tour.

Was a total blast! Food was amazing. The history lesson was fantastic. Loved the entire thing from start to finish. I will book again, not only for the food but for the areas tucked away that few know about.

We decided on the bike tour to cover more ground. It was the perfect way to experience the iconic Malecón boardwalk and to visit charming neighborhoods like Old Town and Zona Romántica on comfortable bikes. We covered ground effortlessly while soaking in stunning ocean views, historic landmarks like the Church of Guadalupe, and vibrant street life. We enjoyed fascinating insights into the city's history and local culture, making the ride both relaxing and educational. The real highlight was stopping at authentic, off-the-beaten-path taco stands favored by locals, where we enjoyed a variety of options like carnitas, birria, asada, and fish —each bursting with fresh flavors and paired with homemade salsas. Bring a big appetite!

Fantastic experience. The guide was phenomenal and knew the local history very well. The Taco's on the tour were beyond great. I am an exceptionally picky eater and I can say I enjoyed each and every stop on the tour. Well worth the time and effort to do this tour. The bike ride around town is not overly difficult but the cobblestone streets do add a touch of difficulty. If you're in doubt, as I was as the day approached, I decided to upgrade to an Ebike for an extremely minor cost it just made things a little bit easier for an older (63) sightly out of shape (ok a lot) person. Tour is well worth the cost and the Taco's were fantastic.

Can I give 10 stars? This was incredible! I knew from the moment I met Silvia that we were going to have a great time! Her energy and joy brought so much fun to this tour, and her absolute love of PV and its food made us love it, too! Each of the stops was so unique, and the owners and servers we met were kind and lovely. I feel like I learned about tacos, but also so much history and culture, just in regular conversation. Silvia's abuela featured in many stories and I wish I knew her, too! One of the best things about this tour is that you get to try food you might not order on your own, and you got to learn how else you can order it! I feel a little more confident on chilaquiles now! And I loved trying the mariscos options, because 1. I would never have ordered them myself, and 2. Now I actually know what I like and don't like! Book your tour. Don't even hesitate. If I come back to PV another taco tour would definitely be on the menu!

What a fun time and unique way to explore more of PV! Not only did we get to eat some really yummy tacos, but seeing other parts of the city that I've never seen before in the 6 or 7 times I've been to PV was great! Totally will take this tour again next time I visit the city!

This is a must do tour as soon as you get to Puerto Vallarta. Homero was extremely knowledgeable and we felt very safe with him guiding our bicycles food tour. He is a great communicator and knows the different sites and various types of tacos that one would never get to experience without this tour!!

Like they say in the description, make sure you are hungry. Homero was such a great guide. . He’s passionate about his city and all the local places we stopped for food. Everything was absolutely delicious.

Fun tour, great guide, and great food. Recommended. We did the e-bike tour, and if I were to do it again, I wouldn’t bother with the e-bikes as there are no hills. I was hoping that e-bikes meant we’d go a little farther out, but it covered basically the same terrain as a walking food tour that we also did. If they offered an e-bike trip that got outside the city center a bit, we’d love to join that!

This is the second time I have been on this bike tour and would definitely got a third! Took my brother and sister in law as it was their first time to PV. Humberto was an amazing guide who grew up in PV so knew all the great, traditional taco stands. Highly recommend especially if you are a foodie!

Homero, thank you so much for showing us around your beautiful city. We had the unique experience of being in Vallarta during hurricane pricilla. Homero navigated everything so amazing and I feel that we had a true adventure. The food was muy delicioso, I really loved every place we visited. I really enjoyed riding near the river and seeing all of the family businesses around town. We will be back again to enjoy again because this tour truly made us fall in love with Vallarta. This was a fun and lighthearted bike ride through the town with stops at DELICIOUS taco purveyors. Our guide, Homero was knowledgeable and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Would do it again and highly recommend! Bring your appetite and try not to eat too much at the beginning or you won’t have room for the yummy ice cream and beer/margarita at the end of the tour. Loved it!

My husband and I went for a quick getaway to Puerto Vallarta. The bike and bites tour was the best tour we did while there. Homero is awesome and brings you to the best little places. This tour is a definite must while visiting!

Absolutely amazing experience! Book the e-bikes!!! I read mixed reviews on using e-bikes for this tour, but it is a must - especially if you aren't an avid bike rider. We stopped at amazing restaurants & bars while zipping through Old Town. Homero was a great guide and created a memorable experience for us.
