Marival Emotions Resort & Suites Riviera

This resort was nice but being to a lot of resorts myself in Mexico it’s not as updated as I thought from looking at the pictures. There’s only a couple à la carte restaurants which were ok and everything else is buffet with ok food. There’s no poolside ordering of food which surprised us as we’ve always been able to do that and some of the things were closed including the main lobby bar most of our trip. The other hotel bars don’t open until 5pm or later so if you’re not at the pool it was difficult to find a drink. BUT what made our trip the best by far was the poolside entertainment and so many fun and nice staff members, a huge shout out to one in particular Fernando!!! He’s so good with the guests and always includes everyone to have so much fun. He brings a certain energy to the hotel and is amazing!!!! We had a great time at the pool always, just too bad the nice restaurant and bar by the ocean you have to pay for and closes at 6pm so if you wan to have a drink by the ocean you can’t unless your in the pool.

We decided to have our wedding at the Marival Emotions. Overall it was a great week, especially the service and employees. The Marival Employees made this trip and our wedding very special. In particular, Fernando on the entertainment team was great. He was very attentive, respectful, and friendly. He was so great that we invited him to our wedding and he even brought us a gift. He made sure to keep our group taken care of and involved in the activities. We will be staying in touch with him as we venture back home. Other employees were also great and super accommodating and friendly. Diego/Arturo at the pool bar, Adrian at the pool bar and our rehearsal dinner provided great service to our family. Alejandra at the pool bar was also amazing. Dalia at the lobby bar/Martini bar was so kind and provided great service all week. Alberto was one of the servers at the Silk restaurant and he exceeded our expectations of service. Cinthia was our server on multiple occasions at breakfast and at our wedding reception. She provided excellent service and was on top of everything. The only issues we had came during the planning of our wedding. There was a miscommunication between the wedding coordinator, Fabiola, our destination wedding group, and us. We were under the impression our ceremony was going to be in a specific location only for that location to be changed 48 hours before the wedding. There were a lot of things that were said during the planning process the didn’t happen. They tried to takeout the pictures from our wedding package even though we already signed a contract. Fabiola mentioned multiple times that the nightclub onsite would be open for our wedding afterparty but we found out during our reception that the club was not going to be open that night. Thankfully, Fernando went out of his way on his day off to take care of us and our wedding guests. Thank you, Fernando, Diego, Dalia, Adrian, Cinthia, Alejandra and Alberto.

This place was great me and my family stayed here and had a great time. The activities and shows were tons of fun and gave us stuff to do while staying at the resort. The food was good too and they had a few different nice restaurants to choose from. The room was very nice and spacious and well maintained. The staff was the best part in particular Fernando and Lesly they were amazing and made the trip very enjoyable. Thank you!!

The hotel is beautiful as we're the pools and ameneties. Gigi, Edith, Diego and Fernando were the best with the kids. The activities at the pool were a ton of fun and Alexis and Monica did a great job with the water activities! Absolutely recommend for any family vacation
