I booked Bon Park Hotel at VidantaWorld for my October 2026 birthday trip. When I arrived, Bon Park was closed because of Hurricane Simon, so I was moved to the Grand Luxe building. The room was nice, but the rest of my stay was a nightmare. Check-in took over five hours. Staff sent me between towers, gave misleading information, and offered no help. Arriving during a hurricane with nowhere else to go, I waited more than five hours for access to my room. When the airport closed, I had to extend my stay. The concierge and a reservation specialist both said the extra night would be complimentary. However, because I had booked through Bon Park, I received conflicting information and ultimately had to pay for the extension myself. After payment, the hotel refused to email a confirmation or receipt. I called several times and got different answers. Didi, who handled my reservation, said she had sent it, but I never received it. Another staff member said policy prohibited emailing receipts. Refusing to provide a receipt for a guest’s payment is unacceptable. Service was also poor at the store, market, and pool. I will never return and cannot recommend this hotel.

Luxury hotel
I recently stayed at the brand-new Vidanta BON (Rooms 72511/72614) on the week of Christmas 2025 and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel itself is stunning and new —you can really tell they used high-quality construction materials; everything feels solid, modern, and luxurious. What truly sets BON apart is the service. Antonio, the Manager on Duty, runs a fantastic operation and is incredibly professional. However, the absolute highlight of our trip was the concierge team, specifically Alexis Chavez and Antonio Carlos. Comparing this to my stay at the Grand Mayan two years ago, the concierge service here is a massive upgrade. They went above and beyond when we had a minor AC issue; the resolution was prompt and highly customer service orientation. They provided Whatsapp channel for questions and support request. Alexis even responded to a WhatsApp concern at midnight, well past his shift! If you want a resort that combines top-tier construction with world-class service, this is it.
We were there when there was not many people at the hotel. The pool was excellent and not very crowded. The Joya team was fun. Nayala was a great host with blackjack popscicles and question of the day. She even made a list if popular music in Mexico for my son. The bellboys were tremendous as we needed transportation and they were very helpful. I hope to stay there again soon!
PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY IN THIS HOTEL, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! -Zero options for breakfast, you have to move to other hotel (Grand Mayan) to have a breakfast, the average time to move to that restaurant is 20 minutes, and you have to wait the transportation too (Other 20 minutes) 40 minutes just for reach the place -For the dinner, we visited the restaurant "Quinto", we have to wait 20 minutes for a seat, even with a reservation, and that was not the worse part, we waited for our dinner 2 hours !!!, they apologies and mentioned that they don't have enough staff -Everything is far from the tower (Pool, beach, restaurants, etc...) I don't recommend this hotel for any reason, you can find a lot of better and cheaper options in Vallarta
