About Activity
Enjoy an 11-hour private excursion from Puerto Natales to the Ernesto Helmer Archaeological Circuit, combining trekking, ancient rock paintings, and the natural landscapes of Patagonia. With a private guide, entrance included, and a maximum of 6 passengers, this experience offers an immersive journey through the region’s archaeological and natural heritage.
Follow the red and orange trail markers along approximately 6.4 km of trails, discovering ancient rock paintings while observing the area’s diverse flora and fauna. Throughout the trek, your guide will provide insights into the history, archaeology, and natural environment of the region.
Choose between two trekking options depending on the group’s preferences and pace. The full 6.4 km circuit returns to the starting point and includes some slopes. Alternatively, take the shorter 3 km route, which begins at the end of the circuit and leads to a hidden cave, a lush forest, and a lookout point offering panoramic views over Laguna Sofía.
After the trek, return to Puerto Natales by private vehicle, enjoying the scenic Patagonian landscapes along the way.
