Itinerary
Our Full Day to Torres del Paine begins at your accommodation in Puerto Natales heading to Villa Cerro Castillo, capital of the commune of Torres del Paine, 59 kilometers north.
The itinerary continues towards the Sarmiento Lake viewpoint, the first photographic break with a view of the Paine Mountain Range, from here and with good weather conditions, it will be possible to have a first panoramic view of the entire mountain range of Torres del Paine, the extension to the south of the Andes Mountains and the imposing Lake Sarmiento.
After this break we will head towards a site of great relevance, being one of the most impressive views in front of the granite towers. The place described above corresponds to the Laguna Amarga viewpoint, a favorite habitat for flamingos who frequently find ideal conditions for feeding at this site. The route continues towards the main access to the Torres del Paine National Park where we will register our access tickets to continue with the itinerary.
The next stop will be at the Nordenskjöld Lake viewpoint, frontal view towards the mountain range and freshwater lake.
Upon arrival at "Salto Grande" sector you’ll go on a 30-minute hike to an impressive waterfall (subject to weather conditions).
After Salto Grande, you’ll visit “Pehoe Lake Lookout Point” which showcases one of the most spectacular views of the park, including the turquoise waters of the lake framed by Cerro Paine, Almirante Nieto Mount, the Paine “Horns”, French Valley and Big Paine. Once ready, you will begin the second part of your tour as you head to Grey Lake sector.
We will travel to the southern sector of the national park. At this last point we will have time to have lunch and walk around the surroundings if weather conditions permit. ** Lunch not included in the rate **The park restaurant is open only during summer** We return to the vehicle to continue the route leaving the Torres del Paine National Park through the southern section. Our last stop in front of Torres del Paine will be at the most impressive place on the Y-290 route called Mirador Grey. From here it will be possible to observe the group of mountains that dominate the western part of the province, the immense Lake Toro and, if the weather permits, also a section of the Grey Glacier.
After 1 hour of travel, we will reach the culminating point of the day, we will visit the Cueva del Milodón Natural Monument. It is one of the most important paleontological sites in South America and one of the oldest settlements in Patagonia. This cave keeps secrets that date back more than 11 thousand years! Our guide will provide all the information associated with this site of great historical relevance due to the constant archaeological and paleontological research that has been carried out there.
Enjoy the last views of the day before returning to your hotel in Puerto Natales. Arrival at 17.00 hrs approximately. *Only for those choosing to include box lunch, this is what it includes: 1 Sandwich on Italian bread, with buttery cheese, smoked turkey breast and yogurt sauce with cibulette. 1 bottle of water 500ml, 1 juice 200ml. Excellent experience. Well organised & informative. Our guideAnita was well prepared and super friendly. We loved it!
We had an incredible day doing this tour. Juan Pablo is knowledgeable and made the tour even more interesting, if you can believe that, given the spectacular views you’ll see. It’s definitely worth it!
I knew Torres del Paine National Park had an excellent reputation before I set off, but the weather inside the park is unpredictable, and we were only staying for two full days. To be on the safe side, I booked same national park tour twice. Even the tour guide contacted me via WhatsApp to ask if I really wanted to do this. I'm so glad I did, because I was able to take these photos on the sunny second day. These breathtaking views will make you forget everything. We did not have chance to taste calafate berries yet, but we’ll be back for sure.
I really enjoyed this full-day tour of Torres del Paine National Park from Puerto Natales. The scheduling for both pickup and drop-off was very easy, the communication was excellent throughout, and everything ran on time. The tour itself was beautiful. There were plenty of opportunities to get out, take in the scenery, and stop for photos. I also appreciated the variety of locations we visited throughout the day, which meant we got to see a lot of the park and surrounding region in a relatively short amount of time. Our tour guide was fantastic — very friendly, happy to chat with everyone, and extremely knowledgeable. He shared lots of interesting information during the drive to and from the park and took a particular interest in pointing out and explaining the different animals we saw along the way, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I thought the tour was very good value for money. If you’re visiting during a time of year when the weather may not be ideal for longer treks, this is a great alternative because you still get to see a huge amount without needing to hike extensively. I also wanted to mention the cave stop, since I saw some other reviews saying it wasn’t worth it. Personally, I found it very interesting. It covered the history of the animals and people that once lived in the region, including some extinct animals I had never even heard of before. The stop didn’t take too long, and considering the low extra cost, I definitely thought it was worthwhile. We did stop at Hotel Lago Grey for lunch. There is an option to buy lunch here. This is not made clear in the itinerary.
It was a fantastic trip. The itinerary was very comprehensive and you got to cover a lot of beautiful landmarks. The tour guide and driver were very friendly and knowledgeable, providing key information about what was being experienced! Definitely recommend!
Good communication from the moment I orderer the outing. Pick up as agreed and all sights that we could see (due to weather) were beautiful. We enjoyed the day. Excellent and knowledgeable guides
Vast scenery, quality guide and driver. Could have left off the cave. Glad for the hiking throughout the day.
Victor is an amusing fellow, very knowledgeable and keeps things moving. The driver was superb. What a beautiful journey@
The scenery is beautiful but the overall tour experience was average. The bus was average and the seats were small and uncomfortable. The tour was unclear about whether or not lunch would be available. Some people had boxed lunches, others didn’t and as it turned out you could buy lunch in the park. For the best experience, you needed to make sure you were on the right side of the bus. In hindsight, renting a car and driving though the park would have been better experience and less expensive.
It is a bus tour. No Hiking. Get on the bus, drive, get off the bus, look around, take photos, get back on the bus, repeat. That said, the park and surrounding area are spectacular. Guide and driver were outstanding.
This tour took us to an amazing variety of beautiful locations: Lake with a glacier, powerful waterfall, giant cave, mountains, etc. They need to replace/repair the bus. The suspension was shot and it clunked continuously on the dirt road portions of the drive. TIP: They stop at a cafeteria for lunch, which also has soda and gifts. So no need to pack a lunch, as long as the place is open. But overall, the window in to Patagonia was well worth the bus issue.
This tour allows you to see the national park from every angle from the comfort of a minibus with numerous viewpoint stops. There are a couple of spots where you can venture on short walks. Guide was very informative.
John, our tour guide, made this experience exceptional! He was incredibly informative and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this tour!
Nice experience but while some of the roads are bumpy and dusty but overall very nice. The tour guide tried her best but maybe she could have use her mic more as sometimes you cannot understand what she was saying.
Great tour - however since everywhere we stopped there were other tour vans, I assume many companies do the same route. John was great - nice, good info, and good bilingual skills switching between English and Spanish and remembering our names. Pick up was much later than quoted, or maybe I misunderstood. I was told we would be picked up at 715 or 720 forward. I mistakenly took that to mean close to 720. We were waiting outside by 715 and were picked up at 755- a good while after we started getting nervous that no one was coming. If you see a similar tour and it doesn't include Milodon Cave, I would say that's fine. Not much there. Parts are closed. Not any more to see than the one photo in the promotions. The rest of the sights were gorgeous. At the last longer stop for lunch at Grey Lake, know that it just takes 4-10 minutes to walk down there. It's not long at all so don't miss it or think it's not for you. There is PLENTY of time. We also appreciated the tour van stopping on the highway when we saw cool animals.
The guide, Abby, was great. The trip was good for photo ops. I was hoping to do at least a bit of hiking, or at least go INTO a forest and feel like I was IN the park, but all stops were from a distance. The cave was underwhelming.
The scenery was absolutely beautiful! The trip was well worth it. The big problem was that the roads were 95% gravel or rock, which made for a very rough and loud ride. Could not even hear or understand the guide at times.
It was a very enjoyable tour. There was plenty of time to take pictures in each location we stopped at. While the bus provided was clean and modern, the seats were very cramped and uncomfortable but we survived just fine. I would recommend not purchasing the box lunch that is offered. The sandwich in it was not appealing at all! You will stop at Gray Lake where there is a nice restaurant and you’ll have time to eat as well as walk down to the lake. Our guide, Jhon, did a good job. He explained everything as well as he could in both English and Spanish. I know that couldn’t have been easy with the amount of information he was giving us. He put together a video of everyone on the tour while we were exploring, photographing and just being awed by all the amazing sights we were seeing. It was a very nice touch. He sent it to everyone on the tour as a nice remembrance. I recommend this tour.
Be prepared for a full day, bring water and backup batteries because you will take a million pictures, each stop along the loop was breathtaking. If you have only one day in the park, pick this one. Our guide Chris was fun and informative, pointing out special things, our driver would even stop when he saw wildlife before we did...Guanaco, Condor, Rhea,Caracara and Eloica. Over all, the best tour for a day.
The tour guide and the driver were very friendly and had a lot of knowledge about this national park. The tour goes around many viewpoints and Milodon cave. I recommend those who are considering looking around most great tourist spots effectively.
A very rewarding experience around the Park. Stunning sights from all different angles. Very pleasant and informative guide, gave us enough time at every stop. I am bad at remembering names but I am sure he knows who I am referring to. Lunch stop facility and the food was first class.
Beautiful area to see. Juan and Anita did a great job. Temperature of the bus was comfortable. Saw wild lama, ostrich, hawk and foxes. Also saw other birds, bees and butterflies. The lunch stop was very busy. Had to wait quite awhile for food. The hike there was a easy trail. Saw beautiful lake and rock formations. We had 4 bathroom stops during the trip. The cave was not much to see. The bus seats were tight and the ride inside the park was quite bumpy. It was worth it to see the park.
Great way to visit Patagonia’s national park. The tour takes you to the most picturesque places to take in the views. Tour guide John was very friendly, informative.
We had a great tour. Conni was our Guide and Luis was our driver. Conni spoke great English, even technical geology terms and was very knowledgeable. Torres del Paine is a great one day tour
This was an excellent tour. Well paced. Lots of stops for taking pics and using facilities. We anlso had time ant lunch for an hike. What a beautiful place. Our tour guide Jhon took pics of the couples fr us and compiled a video of our group on the tour. It was a very enjoyable day!
Our tour guide was outstanding — extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and engaging. They shared fascinating insights, answered every question, and made the tour both enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended. Thank you very much.
Nice way to be able to see the amazing views. Guide and bus driver were great! Just be prepared to be in a tight vehicle.
Torres del Paine is amazing! However in our case the tour operator was very unprofessional: their vehicle broke down at the entrance of the Park and we lost more than a full hour waiting in the dust to be rescued! Then another vehicle was sent and we went on tour again stopping everywhere for long time as if we were on schedule! When I told the tour guide that we were going to miss our dinner reservation this way, she was completely unresponsive to our needs! Indeed she misunderstood me and became aggressive! The tour operator company did not even have an office in Puerto Natales we had to meet in front of a garage! Nobody asked us what happened and there was not even an apology! The tour guide Ana was not professional at all and was not even a proper guide: she was giving incorrect information! It was a big waste of our money and time! We could have done the same tour in our own proper rental car!…
Great experience with Marina as our guide. Family of four (52, 51, 18, 16) late December 2025. Got picked up at our Air BnB in Puerto Natales at 7:30 AM and dropped off at 5:30 PM. Tour gives a great overview of the park, and hits all the major sites that can be reached via road. Landscapes and views are unbelievable. Marina is full of energy, gives good information, is super friendly and does a nice job switching between English and Spanish. Highly recommend!
Good full day trip inside Torres Del Paine park. Lots of stops at scenic view points and the guides (Mika and Andres) were excellent!
Knowledgeable guide, John. Curious, engaged fellow visitors, incredible weather and winds but our views and experience was much enjoyed. Thank you for sharing this beautiful land with our family
This was absolutely worth it, especially as a solo traveler. The small group size made a huge difference — instead of being crammed into a massive tour bus, we were in a sprinter van, which meant everyone had clear window views and way more flexibility throughout the day. Because the group was small, we were able to stop frequently at viewpoints, actually get out, take our time, and enjoy the scenery rather than doing rushed “photo drive-bys.” It felt intentional, not herded. Traveling solo can sometimes feel awkward on group tours, but the guide was excellent — very attentive and proactive. They offered to take photos of me at multiple stops, which I really appreciated and honestly made the experience much better. I never felt like I was on my own or overlooked. If you care about comfort, flexibility, and actually experiencing Patagonia rather than just checking a box, the smaller group structure is the way to go. I’d choose this setup again without hesitation.
This tour was amazing , you get see all the sights while relaxing and taking in the view ! Our guide Milla very informative and helpful and our driver Christian gave such a smooth ride through the park.
Saw so much. Had ample time in each spot. If you don’t have much time this is the best way to experience the area. It really was a full day about 10 hours door to door but it flew by
It was great experience but the weather was not the best.. Trip was organized well and tour guide was doing a good job 👏
Great full day trip to Torres Del Paine. This tour specifically allowed for seeing many of the highlights of the park. The guide was friendly and well informed. Even the two plus hour drives to and from the park were incredibly scenic. Highly recommend this tour.
Torres del Paine is spectacular and huge...so definitely a must see...that's why I rated it a 4. The tour operator was Patagonia Planet and I was less impressed by them. The driver was very good...the guide was okay...but there was an issue with the bus so our lunch break...which we were told was an hour and a half (an hour would have been sufficient) turned into a 3 hour ordeal while we waited for a new bus to arrive. So that was disappointing. Also, along the way, we picked up random people with no explanation given. I would suggest that if you book this tour, that you vet the actual tour operator.
Weather can be extremely variable in a single day as was the case with us but that is the nature of the climate - don’t expect clear blue skies ALL day! Luis the driver & Juan Paulo our guide were excellent.
Great day fabulous guides and driver super packed lunch of smoked salmon and lettuce unfortunately at the lunch stop the mini bus broke down we had to wait for replacements
Amazing experience seeing all the highlights of Torrres!!! Guide Victor and driver Luis were wonderful. Would highly recommend!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great tour, but some communication issues Overall, this was a wonderful experience. Patagonia is absolutely stunning, and our tour guide did an excellent job throughout the day. The scenery alone makes this trip worthwhile, and the guide’s enthusiasm and knowledge added a lot to the experience. What kept me from giving a full five stars were a few issues with communication and logistics. The listing stated a maximum of 18 passengers, but our group had 21. The van was quite small, and we were very cramped for the long drive. It would be helpful if the tour operator provided accurate capacity information upfront. Additionally, we were not informed ahead of time that there wouldn’t be a proper stop to buy food. Our only option was a $30 lunch bag that included a cold smoked salmon sandwich that had been unrefrigerated for several hours. We ended up wasting money because we weren’t comfortable eating it. Clear guidance about food options in advance would have made a big difference. Finally, I never received a confirmation email or message. I had to reach out via WhatsApp the night before to make sure the tour was still happening. Despite these issues, the guide was great and the place itself is breathtaking. With better communication and more transparency from the operator, this would easily be a five-star experience.
We had an amazing day touring the national park with our guide Jonathan and driver Eduardo. They made sure we all enjoyed the views, didn't rush us at any point and readily took our pics. They picked us up from our hotel that was not on their list and communicated very clearly before and during the tour. We highly recommend it.
The tour with Eduardo and Sophia was great. Thanks them we had a very lovely day. Eduardo is a super good driver and always takes care that the people feel comfortable. Also Sophia is a really good guide and helps wherever she can. We can recommend thus tour a lot and hipe you can have the same good experience as we had.
Trip to Torres Del Paine was good just be aware the roads in the park are pretty rough and there are plenty of speeding tour buses. We had rented a car from Econorent in Puerto Natales and check-in was good and car was fine . We had taken lots of photos of existing damage to car including a large stone chip in the windscreen which hadn’t been repaired. On our return we were pleased we had no additional damage despite the roads however an unpleasant person inspecting the car pointed out all sorts of things which fortunately we had photos for including the large stone chip. He then proceeded to show us tiny stone chips in the screen which he said were too much despite being so small and there were no new paint chips on the bonnet? Anyway few days later we were charged $565 for new windscreen, I would be very wary of using this agent as I suspect the person who chipped the windscreen originally was also charged for a windscreen and it’s possible next driver will also be charged - potential scam beware
Wonderful tour of Torres del Paine. The scenery was amazing & our guide Ana was very informative. We had the chance to do a little hike on the beach to view an iceberg which was enjoyable.
We had a wonderful time on our full-day tour of Torres del Paine. Our guide, Jhon, was outstanding — knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful. He pointed out so many interesting sights along the way, explained the history and geography clearly, and even took some amazing photos for us. The tour was very well-paced, with frequent stops at beautiful viewpoints so our kids could stretch their legs and truly take in the scenery. The bus was modern and comfortable, and the entire experience felt relaxed and enjoyable. We saw glaciers, lakes, mountains, and even some wildlife along the way. The lunch stop was great too, with delicious local food and stunning views. Overall, this was a perfect way to experience Torres del Paine for families or anyone who wants to see the park without hiking. Highly recommend — a 5/5 experience!

What a perfect tour. Guide and driver were great. They made great pictures. Perfect explanation. And smooth ride.
The agency was extremely professional, responsive, and punctual every detail was handled with care, making us feel confident and at ease from the moment we booked. The tour itself was simply perfect. Worth every cent. The landscapes of Torres del Paine are breathtaking, but what truly made the day magical were the people. Our driver, Luis, was calm, kind, and incredibly patient like a monk behind the wheel. And our guide, John, was the cherry on top: a soul full of poetry, fluent English, deep knowledge of the region, and a heart as warm as the Patagonian wind is cold. This wasn’t just a tour. It was a shared journey with beautiful souls from around the world and a memory we’ll carry forever. Highly recommended. A once-in-a-lifetime experience!
