Although not in the national forest, the Singular Patagonia was spectacular! Such a unique hotel with large rooms facing the lake. The Singular staff was amazing, friendly and always eager to help. The food was not only plentiful, it was delicious! The guides were experienced and took the time to get to know us and our interests. The grounds and transportation vehicles were immaculate and very well maintained. We wish we had spent more than 4 days at this wonderful all inclusive resort.

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Singular Hotel in Puerto Natales and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Patagonia. The location is excellent — set slightly outside the town center, it offers beautiful views and a peaceful, remote feeling while still being very convenient for exploring the area. From the moment I arrived, the staff stood out. Everyone was consistently friendly, attentive, and professional, always ready to help and making sure everything ran smoothly throughout my stay. Their warm and welcoming attitude really added to the overall experience. The rooms were a highlight: incredibly quiet, spacious, and very comfortable. After long days of exploring, it was the perfect place to relax. The heating system worked flawlessly, which made a big difference in the Patagonian climate and kept the room at a very comfortable temperature at all times. Everything throughout the hotel — from the rooms to the common areas — was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made the stay feel even more comfortable and high-quality. I also really enjoyed the restaurant. The food was excellent, with high-quality ingredients and well-prepared dishes, and it was great to have such a reliable dining option directly in the hotel. Overall, The Singular combines a great location, outstanding service, spotless cleanliness, and very comfortable, peaceful rooms. It’s a perfect place to unwind and enjoy Patagonia in a relaxed and high-quality setting. I would definitely stay here again.
This is a stunning hotel in a beautiful location on a Patagonian fjord. It is also a historical treasure, as you walk from reception to rooms or from rooms to the restaurant, you see the old rooms and machines used 100 years ago in what was once a huge commercial operation, but is now just a lovely hotel. The rooms and service are excellent and the staff were really friendly. The food was very good. We had a lovely two days here at end of our Chilean adventure and we were well looked after.
This hotel is Willie Wonka meets Ritz Carlton meets Steampunk. Built around 1910 as a place where sheep were brought for slaughter, butcher and their hides tanned, the preserved structure has been transformed into a modern day luxury hotel. In fact, for a short time, this was a museum before being converted into a hotel. The machinery that enabled the cold storage is still present and pristine condition. The spaces are spectacular and make you feel as if you’re walking through another time in place. Kudos to the architects who maintained the integrity of the building and integrated all the elements needed for travelers to enjoy Patagonia. Our room had a million dollar view across the fjord and amenities included a large soaking tub, perfect after a hike. The bar and restaurants space is enormous with soaring ceiling heights, and all of the original architectural elements. It’s wherever the original Tannery was located. Breakfast is a buffet with eggs to order. Dinner was terrific and better than any of the two we had in town. And the space…wow… Last, service…. The staff was lovely. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Callouts to the concierge team who made restaurant suggestions and reservations.
Strongly not recommended. The higher your expectations, the bigger the disappointment. This is the most expensive hotel in the area, but the service doesn’t come close to justifying the price. The front desk and some staff look unhappy all the time — they won’t even say hello when you walk past them, let alone offer a smile. Don’t be fooled by the pool in the photos. It’s basically an oversized bathtub, not suitable for swimming, and the water was dirty, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The rooms are small. The view is decent, but many nearby hotels also offer lake views. Unless it’s peak season and you truly have no other options, I would strongly advise against staying here. This hotel was converted from an old factory, which does give it a unique character. However, the building was never designed to be a hotel in the first place, so it clearly lacks many of the facilities you would expect from a five-star property. The gym and the pool are both quite poor. I chose this hotel based on the positive reviews online, but I was honestly disappointed after arriving. There is basically no real service to speak of. This experience really made me realize that negative reviews are often more helpful than the good ones.
