This was an amazing experience. Although it’s a once in a lifetime experience many, I do hope to be back someday because I had a great time. It felt super nostalgic to me, like being at a summer camp with all of the different people and the community aspect of it. The staff were all so nice, genuinely all of them. Sai and Amoroso were so welcoming and knowledgeable. I loved talking to them during my free time. You will be in good hands here. And don’t even get me started on the food!! The portions are huge, delicious, and you get juice with each meal most of the time. They also were very carful with food allergies & preferences. The space was very clean and well taken care of. The activities were all so fun, informational, and organized. My favorite part was being on the boat and the night walks! The only things I want to stress is that you are in the Amazon jungle, do not expect WIFI (there were three times we got wifi during our 4 day stay and it was only for a few minutes at the reserve and on the boat). There was only a few hours in a day you get power as well, these are things that might be more difficult for some who are close to their families. Also the water is a bit iffy, not any fault to them, but the water can be a bit murky at first when you turn it on, and later is very chlorinated. They have free drinking water though so we didn’t mind. Also they picked us up at the airport and dropped us off which was so helpful, not to mention they kept our bags safe at their office. thank you so much!

Day 1
1
We will take you to Puerto Capitania at 9:30 AM. Here, we will embark on a 30-minute scenic journey to our scenic Paradise Amazon Ecolodge. You can count on the assistance of our staff when you register. After a short rest, we will continue with our tour of the Tambopata National Reserve.
CANOPY WALK: A mere 200 meters from our lodging lies the entrance to the Canopy Tower. Situated at an impressive height of 35 meters, this vantage point is anchored to the base of a majestic Lupuna tree. Throughout the day, this location offers the chance to spot diverse bird species. Our local expert will be on hand to offer in-depth insights into both the flora and fauna of the region.
ZIP LINING: Following the canopy walk, for those seeking added thrill, we offer zip-lining. Your local guide will share techniques to maximize enjoyment of this exhilarating activity and ensure you're well-informed of safety procedures. Once set, you'll soar down the 190-meter zip line to be met at the end by one of our instructors. After the adrenaline-filled adventure, we'll head back to the resort for lunch. Our team will serve an authentic Amazonian meal, after which you can take some time to relax.
KAYAK: In the early afternoon, we will embark on a kayak excursion. Our team will ensure you're equipped with essential safety gear. For added safety, a support boat will trail behind, monitoring the group's well-being. Following the kayaking, you'll have the chance to refresh yourself in the invigorating waters of the Madre de Dios River, a perfect respite from the Amazonian warmth.
MONKEY ISLAND: After you've had a chance to enjoy the kayak, we'll travel 15 minutes to Monkey Island. You will be able to see a herd of capuchin monkeys, as well as black and white monkeys (Cebus apella and Cebus albifrons). These breeds are usually kinder by nature. Accompanied by a local expert you can get close to them and feed them too. We will return to the resort at 4:30 PM after this adventure. Here you will be able to see the famous Amazon sunset.
After nightfall, we will embark on an expedition, equipped with searchlights and headlamps, to seek out alligators. In this region, one can often spot white caimans and dwarf caimans. We plan to return to the resort by 7:30 PM for a sumptuous dinner, followed by a well-deserved rest.
Day 2
2
As you awaken, the melodic chorus of birdsong will greet you. Our team has prepared a delightful Amazonian breakfast for you, featuring freshly squeezed fruit juice, a steaming cup of authentic Peruvian coffee, eggs, fluffy pancakes, savory fried plantains, and other traditional delicacies. We will set out for the checkpoint at 9:30 am. Upon arrival, our details will be registered, and then we'll embark on an hour-long hike, covering three kilometers, to Lake Sandoval. Throughout this journey, you'll be presented with opportunities to observe a diverse array of local flora and fauna. Notably, among the myriad species in this region, you might catch a glimpse of the majestic river otters.
Upon reaching the shores of Lake Sandoval, nestled within the heart of the jungle, we will treat you to a delectable lunch. After our meal, we will embark on a rowboat journey to the lake's center, aiming to observe more of its diverse wildlife. This area is a haven for hoatzins, cormorants, and anhingas. Additionally, the elusive and playful otters are sometimes spotted by fortunate visitors.
NIGHT WALK: Around 6:30 in the evening, we'll embark on a stroll through the protected area to witness various nocturnal species. Our knowledgeable guide will be on hand to share insights about the creatures we encounter. Upon our return to the resort, which we anticipate around 7:30 PM, a scrumptious dinner will await you.
Day 3
3
You'll be roused with a delightful Amazonian breakfast, after which, around 8:00 in the morning, we'll set out on a hike. Our path will lead us to a local family, descendants of hunters and warriors from days gone by. They are renowned for their exquisite paintings. Should any piece captivate you, you'll have the opportunity to purchase it. Subsequently, we'll trek to a nearby ravine to engage in some lakeside fishing. The lake teems with various fish species, including catfish, damsel, sardines, and the notorious piranha. Our catch will then be taken back to the resort, where our chef will expertly prepare it for our midday meal.
You will have the afternoon free after lunch to rest and take a nap in hammocks. Finally, we will be serving dinner in the hostel.
Day 4
4
Your Tambopata Peru Tour ends with a trip from the resort at sunrise, we go to the Collpa de Loros. A swarm of birds will begin to slowly approach the cliff to eat the clay when we have had time to settle. You will also have the opportunity to see several other bird species, such as blue-headed parrots, auroras, and parakeets. This activity lasts about an hour, during which you can film, take the best pictures, and think about these beautiful and fascinating birds while watching the amazing sunrise over the rainforest. We will return to the resort at 7:00 AM to have breakfast.
After breakfast, we will take you to our office in Puerto Maldonado. We will transport you to the airport or bus terminal based on the scheduled departure time of your plane or bus.

We (myself and my 2 teenage daughters) were met at the airport and joined by 2 couples for the boat trip to the lodge. We then stayed together as a group of 7 for 3 days, then just us and our guide Tito for the final day. We built a really good rapport as a group even over that short time. Everything was really well organised and we were well informed of what came next and what to wear/bring at all stages. The food was excellent and very fresh. The pool proved a welcome relief, alongside a chilled beer. The break from the outside world (no Wi-Fi / internet) was actually refreshing and even restricted access to electricity and early lights out was fun. Our guide Tito was brilliant, so knowledgeable and his ability to imitate jungle wildlife noises often had us looking around in confusion. As someone with a fear of heights (and a fully ruptured IT Band, which affects my balance) getting on and off the boats and the canopy walk were challenging, but I was really well supported and felt safe at all points. So many amazing memories: my youngest catching a catfish, rowing across lake Sandoval at sunset, the animal chorus as we woke in the morning and of course the magnificent parrot clay lick!
Our guide Jesus was amazing, we loved his no nonsense, dry sense of humour. Having grown up in a remote area of the rainforest, there was nothing that he didn’t know about the animals, birds, native people and the trees and plants of the jungle. We all loved listening to his stories! We’ll remember this experience forever thanks to him! The lodge was lovely, basic and clean on a surface level. The beds were comfortable and the mosquito nets kept us safe when we slept. Our first room was next to the bananas trees that the bats had a party in all night long, and when we spoke to staff the next day they happily gave us a new room. Our first room had hot water, but the second had cold - not that we minded. The food at the lodge was brilliant - tasty, healthy and filling. We never went hungry. Only issues were that on the first day we were late getting picked up from our hotel - there were issues at the airport and bus station and the company didn’t communicate that with us until I reached out to ask what had happened to our driver. We were told at the office that we would visit a local farm on the morning of our final day but that didn’t happen. It seemed that the person in the office didn’t understand how the itineraries ran at the actual lodge. Other people had this problem too on their final morning. But overall, we loved all of the activities, the peaceful lodge, our guide Jesus, the brilliant people we met in our tour group and everything we saw and learnt about the Amazon. An amazing experience that we wish we could do again!
Hands down our favorite part of our 3 week Peru adventure. The entire staff was supportive and patient with our family’s accommodations (food allergies). Our guide Sergio was very knowledgeable and left us with an unforgettable experience that we’re all still talking about. This is the perfect experience for outdoor lovers who are looking for that little bit of extra immersion into Peruvian culture and connection to nature.
We had a fantastic time in the Amazon rainforest with Paradise. We did some very unique activities and made some great memories. Our guide Sergio was fantastic; he was extremely knowledgeable about everything related to the jungle, ranging from the insects and animals to the plants. He was very friendly and made our time here extra enjoyable.
We had an absolutely incredible experience on our 4-day Tambopata jungle tour, and a huge part of that was thanks to our outstanding guide, Sergio Raymonti. Sergio’s knowledge of the rainforest is truly exceptional. His passion for the ecosystem shines through in everything he does—whether he’s pointing out elusive wildlife, explaining the medicinal uses of plants, or describing the intricate relationships within the jungle. We learned so much about the animals, plants, and overall biodiversity, and it made every excursion feel meaningful and fascinating. On top of that, his English is excellent, making it easy to follow along and ask questions, which really enhanced the whole experience. The entire team made the trip special. The kitchen staff were fantastic—every meal was delicious, and they went above and beyond to accommodate dietary requirements without ever making it feel like an inconvenience. It was clear they put a lot of care into what they prepared. We also want to give a big shoutout to the boat crew, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. They even managed to fit in an extra fishing outing for us when the boat was available, which was such a fun and memorable bonus. Overall, this was a truly unforgettable adventure, made all the better by Sergio and the amazing team supporting him. We couldn’t recommend this experience more highly!
Very fun and insane experience. Once in a lifetime! It was very hot and there were many bugs but you go into the trip expecting that. The activities were so fun and days were filled with things to do.
Would recommend! Our guide Victor was very knowledgeable and could answer every animal question we had. We saw so many amazing animals - sloth, macaws, monkeys, giant river otters… the food was AMAZING!!!! Pool was cleaned regularly and rooms were comfortable, thank you!
We had an amazing time at the Paradise lodge with our local tour guide from Puerto Maldonado, Borris. He made the trip extra special for us with his patience, care and knowledge of the jungle, the experience was so much more than we imagined. All of the activities/ trips was great, the lodge was so clean and with lots of friendly staff, we was super looked after there. We had lovely food everyday where they served us big portions daily to keep us fuelled. Thank you to all the team at Paradise. From the office staff, to everyone at the lodge, and our tour guide Borris :) we highly recommended this.
We (family of 5) booked this tour from 11/4/25 thru 11/7/25 amd stayed at the Paradise Yakari lodge and had a great experience. The staff at the lodge were very courteous and took care of all little details like bringing up luggage to the rooms, getting us hot water, etc. The guide - Saay - was amazing and we really enjoyed his insights and story telling. He knew the history, the historical and geographical details of the area including plants, fruits, animals, etc. and explained all the details in a fascinating way. He never got frustrated or inpatient and took the time to answer all questions. Some things to note - the power was on only from 5pm - 9 pm and there is no internet/wifi anytime but that is due to the remoteness of the lodge and it did not bother us at all. They served breakfast from 8-9 am, lunch from 1-2 pm and dinner from 8-9 pm. Saay, the guide, then planned the rest of the day around these. Under Saay's guidance, we did canoeing, boating, fishing, ziplining, visited the local natives, watched the clay-licking by parrots, hiked to lake Sandoval, etc.
This was quite fun. Food was fairly good. Animals were amazing, saw many different ones and up close. Activities were also beyond expectations. It was well organized, though one time we got forgotten. On the other hand, our guide was too much into Ayahuasca, and some of her explanations were fairy tales. Room had no electricity during daytime, no fans.
This is jungle Lodge the rooms are basic but clean, with only cold showers. The activities are well planned & the guides try hard to keep everyone entertained. The meals are very good, everyone has plenty to eat. During our stay there were very few animals & birds, it's a job to know if it was seasonal or they just aren't there anymore, we arrived after a few days rain & the river had a fair amount of pollution. Overall the stay was good apart from the points mentioned
Very good, look forward to the Lake Sandoval tour, there is so much wildlife. The guide, Santo was really good at very patient with good knowledge of the jungle. Everything was so Good and the food was always 2 course meals which was very satisfying. Only thing we didn’t like was how the local family, during the local family visit, treated their animals very poorly. But everything Else was amazing.
We had a fantastic experience with this tour company. It was well organized. The tour group collected us from our accommodation on the morning of, as planned. They dropped us back where we needed to go on our departure day. The accomidation is rustic, but clean. The mosquito net over our bed was in good condition. The food was basic, but filling. You can purchase extra drinks like beers, fizzy drinks and snacks if required. Filtered water is freely available. Would recommend bringing money, as there is no card machine available. Our guide Luis, was very informative and passionate about his job. He had a wealth of information about the different animals, insects and plants we saw during our time here. He was always happy to answer any questions and kept us up to date on what activities we were doing each day, what to bring and any changes made. Be prepared for some early morning starts and when you are asked to be on time for activities, do turn up on time. We would recommend bringing light, long sleeves tops and pants. Good trek shoes, sunhat and lots of sunscreen and insect repellent. There is absolutely no wifi or signal what's so ever here. Be prepared for that. We enjoyed it as it was a great way to disconnect and be very present. There is no hot water in the showers but it was so warm and humid we didn't mind at all. Tour groups are nice sizes. From 10 - 12 so you get to know others on your trip and your guide very well.
Incredible stay at the lodge. The food was good, there were plenty activities but also we were’nt in a rush. No internet and no electricity but it was a nice change of pace. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore the amazon. The guide Saayd was knowledgeful and it felt like he was respectful of nature.
This trip was amazing - you are on the amazon, in nature and it's 100% worth doing. However, the tour operator itself had some issues and isn't offering anything that other operators in the area aren't. Pros: Activities are well spaced out, so you can deal with the heat and not get worn out. You also get plenty of downtime to enioy the surroundings Food was good - simple but plenty and filling The guides are flexible. You can ask to go on a night walk and they will take you to the jungle behind the lodge as extra, or in my case find you on a morning stroll and take you to see a nearby lake Accommodation - it is not fancy, the water is cold and power limited but you are very close to nature Cons: The overall organisation felt messy. Our last day we didn't complete any activities, and the time of our pick up kept changing. We ended up on a boat and neither us or the guide seemed sure we were meant to be on it. We ended up awkwardly sat on the boat for an hour or so as another group finished their last activity before heading back to town. Communication about times and what we were doing were often hit and miss Guide: another mixed bag. Our guide was lovely, but not informative. We found tour groups (and when waiting on the before mentioned boat) that their guides gave more information about the area and animals. Our night walks were done at a fast pace, and very little info. Some of the things he brought up seemed unrelated, or just outright wrong. Animals: a couple of instances left a bad taste. After being unable to see monkeys, we were told we could see capybaras. This turned out to be one kept in a pen behind the lodge and when asked about it, we were told it was kept there for tourists as they are hard to spot on the wild. During the night boats ride, out guide grabbed a young wild caiman and brought it into the boat for us to see/hold. As I said overall we are glad we went, but I'd definitely check the other companies available.
I had such a wonderful time in Paradise!! The staff is so kind and accommodating and the guides are incredibly knowledgeable and well trained in their field. Our guy was named Saay (sp?), he knew absolutely everything about the plants, wildlife, history, peoples of the Amazon. I felt very safe on the trip and well informed of what to expect. The excursions are well timed out, avoiding the heat of the day and giving people down time to recuperate after each adventure. The food is delicious and they do have a bar with beer and wine but be careful not to over indulge in the heat! They accommodated my needs as a diabetic too. The facilities are lovely in a charming and rustic way but definitely don’t expect luxury. The jungle is very hot and it’s hard to find relief from it. So hydrate hydrate hydrate and watch your sweating and physical excursion. I slept like a baby every night from the wonderful jungle noises and the pitch blackness outside.
Our guide was Bryan and he was so amazing, finding all the animals in the wild, extensive knowledge and very easy going. Every day was a new adventure. The chefs and and staff were all fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable although we did have a frog, spider and bat get in but that just added to the experience for us. The only issue I had is with whoever owns the property is not maintaining it well, the zip line needs safety maintenance and the food hall is sinking, the staff sleeping area was beyond disappointing and should be replaced immediately. Smaller considerstions are there are only cold showers available, no wifi or cell service until you are on a boat which is sold as 'eco lodge' but it really isn't it is just no investment has been made over the years into these services.
We did 4 days and what a lifetime experience it has been! We saw many wildlife and our guide Brian is the best! He was fun and knowledgeable. We learnt so much about Amazon and the ways of life here. The program is designed well with enough time to rest in between activities. We were very well fed. The facilities are basic but you get an ensuite bathroom. Lukewarm water during hours when we had electricity. It is manageable. For the experience we had, we think the basic facilities don't dampen it at all.
Ivan was an excellent guide with detailed knowledge and care for the children. The staff at our lodge were also lovely and again really cared for the kids when ill. Thanks!
The tour started off okay on day 1. Monkey Island was a BIG disappointment. People were feeding the monkeys cookies with the wrappers and none of the guides were saying anything about it. The reason we are giving this tour 5 stars is because on day 2 we got a new guide who was INCREDIBLE. Ivan's knowledge of the wildlife (especially the birds, which was the main reason we came) was so impressive. He was able to identify birds based on their sounds and how they flew. He took so much time and helped us identify so many birds and other species (especially at Sandoval Lake). Thank you Ivan, you made our trip amazing!
I joined the 4-day, 3-night Amazon tour and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Special thanks to our guide Jose Luis — patient, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about the rainforest. The overall itinerary was well organized, allowing us to explore and experience the Amazon in a relaxed and immersive way. A small note for future travelers: the lodge does not have hot water, and electricity is available only 4 hours a day. However, I didn’t find this uncomfortable at all — in fact, it made the trip feel even more authentic. Being offline and following the natural rhythm of the rainforest was incredibly refreshing for both body and mind. Meals were a big highlight — every breakfast, lunch, and dinner was thoughtfully prepared, abundant, and far exceeded expectations. Overall, this was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to connect with nature in its purest form.
This was a trip of the life time. Everything was incredibly perfect and beautiful. Of course, don't expect luxury which I would not in amazon. Our tour guide, Saay, was friendly, genuine and knowledgeable. Thank you for making this dream of mine come true.
I had a fantastic time here with my dad. The guides were all great and I made several new friends. It is like staying in a hostel because you are doing activities with many other people every day. I would 100% recommend if you can handle not having internet for a few days 😂
I was with a group of people that were all doing 3 days. After they left I was told I could do other activities at night (e.g., camine watching or a rainforest night walk). My guide had also left after 3 days, so I checked with staff at the lodge MULTIPLE TIMES to make sure I was able to go on these activities and what time they would be at. Despite waiting in the lodge, no one came to get me or told me about the activities. I felt completely forgotten about and I was stuck with alone, with no wifi, at this lodge. I was so bored I was offering the help out the staff to kill time. I even asked if I could just leave that night because I felt miserable, but they said I had to wait until the next morning. This experience on my last day was an absolute bummer because outside of this, the excursion was fun. Just ended up being a waste of a day of travel. I wish I would have known that the people I was going to be with (including my guide) would only be there for 3 days.
This tour offered me and my partner a very special experience that both of us enjoyed a lot! When being asked about which activity was my favourite, I could never tell because all of them were very amazing experiences! The tour guide is professional, knowledgeable about all the plants and animals in the forest, and you’ll never miss an animal when he is around (the one I had was Saay). I like how well-balanced the resting and activity time are. The activities are kinda energy consuming, but you can always get enough sleep and food. The lodge offers really good and special food. Also, since you can only use electricity in a limited time and there is no internet, it feels like a getaway from the outside world and you can truly enjoy the nature. The only downside was that there was no warm water in the lodge due to broken water system but this is the jungle so I’ll just see that as something normal! And by the way, remember to bring your own shampoo and conditioner because there is only soap in the lodge and I think it is not enough for washing your hair after a long day of excursion!
The 4 day tour was more then we expected, accomodations, food and tours were all excellent. The Paradise Amazon Lodge accommodated vegetarian meals greatly, all the staff were amazing and friendly, rooms were great and clean. Our your guide Saay was woneerful and knowledgeable.
Its amazing. Do it. It felt like summer camp. Our guide was really kind and made the experience great. He was super knowledgeable and knew exactly what he was doing to make the experience amazing! Beware the entire experience was infested with bugs. There's no way to avoid it. You're in a jungle! They do the best they can in the living areas but it's just not possible to get rid of all bugs and mosquitoes, so if you're squeamish, just be mentally prepared :) If you're someone who likes adventure and the outdoors, even the slightly uncomfortable parts of it such as heat, humidity, and rain, this is the tour for you! We also got a chance to meet others our age from around the world doing the tour same as us. It was great.
Thanks Rose for such a memorable experience. The place is located right in the heart of Amazon Jungle in Tambopata. Everything was perfect, just as mentioned in the itinerary while booking the tour.
The 4 days jungle tour was an incredible experience. Our guide Franklin was really knowledgable and explained us so much. Would repeat this adventure again!
One of the best jundle lodges in the area . The food is nice and the guides are all professional and helpful. Daily plan changes for you to have a better experience . I really liked it and I am probably coming back !
This was an incredible four day experience, absolutely packed with different activities and hosted in a picturesque lodge which borders the Amazon rainforest. The tour guides were helpful and ensured that we got the most out of each of the visited which were organised, including seeing an incredible variety of wildlife (we saw caiman, capybaras and sloths on the river excursions; multiple different types of monkeys - howlers; squirrel; night monkeys) and insects during the jungle trips, and were even lucky enough to see the giant otters at Sandoval lake. For the price we paid c.£260 each, this was an absolute bargain. A couple of points to consider before you book: this, as should be expected, isn't 5* accommodation and you should expect limited hot water, internet, room cleaning etc. - you are staying in the rainforest after all. There was also an opportunity to participate in an ayahuasca ceremony at an additional cost, which staff kept mentioning, and they seemed disappointed when we weren't interested in this (it was pricey and I expect they take a cut if it goes ahead). Overall this was a 10/10 experience though, we loved it.
I strongly recommend visiting. You get pretty much the same activities in 3 or 4 days, the 4 days offers a little more chilling time. Ayahuasca costs 150$ my experience with the shamans was great! Bring bug spray 30% Deer or more, sunscreen, flashlight and bathing suit. There is little internet, WhatsApp messages make it in and out from time to time but nothing more.
My husband, my daughter and I spent a month in Peru. For sure our trip in the Amazon Forest with Paradise Yakari Amazon Tours was one of the highlights of our trip. We had a great time discovering the biodiversity : tarantulas, Capybaras, cute monkeys, colorful birds including macaws, huge ants, all kind of amazing insects, baby caimans and learning about trees and plants. My favourite part of the tour was the Sandoval Lake where we spent the afternoon searching for wildlife, not knowing what to expect and hoping to see some animals or birds. The lodge itself was comfortable and the food was good. Be prepared for no internet and limited electricity. It is the Amazon forest after all. A special mention to our guide, Saai , who was so knowledgeable and who shared his passion for the amazon forest with us. Thanks to the whole team.
This tour was such an action-packed, fun experience and one I'll never forget. So many different excursions, zip lining, night tours, visit to Monkey Island. Incredibly organised and our guide Sigh was the best tour guide we have ever had. He spoke incredible English, spoke passionately and had expansive knowledge about the Amazon.
We had a great time at the Paradise Amazon Ecolodge! It was a good mix of adventure activities and relaxation time. Our guide, Sam, was amazing!! He was very passionate and had eagle eyes for finding animals! He was very accommodating to the group especially when one of us wasn't feeling very well. The food was also really good!
Had a great 4 day experience made all the more special by such lovely helpfully staff. Special mentions to Rosie who organised all the pick ups and drop offs, Franklin our guide who was the best at spotting the wildlife and gave us so much information and insight into the country, people and cultures, and to captain Lil who manovered the boat with skill so we could see the wildlife at its best. Food was all fresh and delicious and the pool was very welcome after hot days adventures.
Had an amazing time on this tour - It was just about perfect. The animals, wildlife and scenery were breathtaking. Some highlights were the sunrise bird watch tour as well as the piranha fishing (I almost caught one but it slipped off my hook!) The guides all speak multiple languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese, English), so it's easy to follow the tours. They were also very flexible in working around various travel arrangements, which was nice. The only downside was that on my final day I ended up missing my 8:45am flight back to Cusco because the transfer from the jungle eco-lodge to the airport took too long (we had to take a 30 minute boat ride to the shore and the taxi that was meant to take me to their airport showed up late). It ended up costing me quite a bit to book another flight and I was in a rush to get to Cusco since I had booked a tour to machu pichu. I guess my recommendation would be to try ask to go to Peurto Maldonado, the nearby town, the evening before any early morning travel since it's obviously quite remote. But this does not take away too much from the overall amazing experience I had and the helpfulness of al the staff.
The guide ( Jesus) was excellent. The facilities were not adequately described by Viator. For example there was only electric power from 6pm to 9:30 pm; thus my CPAP machine was of no use. There was no internet and this made coordinating plans for post jungle travel difficult. Both these limitations should be disclosed by Viator. Also regular sheets were used for bug netting over beds. This made sleeping even more uncomfortable than need be. This was penny saving at customer expense. Finally we felt the trip was over charging based on the quality of the facility and what local prices are for lodging and meals.
An awesome tour to do in Puerto Maldonado. I came in early December and the weather was perfect, it barely rained. Our tour guide Johnathon was great and very knowledgeable about all things nature in this area of the Amazon.
Exquisite Tambopata experience with Paradise Yakari! The wildlife and jungle scenary were breathtaking and the guides were incredibly knowledgable. Their commitment to eco freindly practices made the trip even more special. An unforgettable adventure in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon.
Great guided excursions into the jungle to see alligators, capybaras, birds at Sandoval lake, and a night jungle walk. Trip to the parrots was from the boat only and the birds were far away. We did see a sloth! Food was fine. The staff was accommodating and my guide for four days, Juan Jose, spoke good English and was so knowledgable, friendly and helpful! Be prepared for no hot water, no electricity except between hours 5-9 pm, and NO internet. Be prepared for garbage and plastics floating down the mighty river and even trash on some of the trails. So disappointing. Where's the local effort to address this, every lodge has a responsibility.
Paradise Yakari provided an amazing Tambopata jungle tour experience. Their knowledgable guides made the diverse ecosystem come alive w ith interesting facts and stories. The tour was impeccably organized, ensuring comfort and excitment throughout. Definitely recommend them for their deep jungle expertise and hospitality.
I had an incredible experience with Paradise Yakari on their Tambopata Tour! Our guides were knowledgeable and passionate, ensuring a safe yet thrilling journey through the Amazon. The wildlife sightings were unforgettable, and the accommodations were comfortable. Highly recommend.
Wonderful trip to the Amazon with Paradise Yakari. The Tambopata tour with Paradise Yakari was an exceptional journey. Knowledgeable guides, abundant wildlife, and an authentic rainforest experience. A truly magical adventure!
Magical and mesmerizing! The Amazon Tour with OParadise Yakari exceeded all expectations. Expert guides, captivating wildlife, and an immersive experience in nature. An adventuere I will treasure forever.
Experienced the four day tambopata Paradise Yakari and was utterly mesmerized. The rich bio diversity and expert guidance made it a trip of a lifetime. A must do.
A very pleasant experience from start to end. All thanks to Rose for being so friendly and passionate in sharing the rich history and facts about Tambopata. The place is very surreal, tucked perfectly in the Amazon Jungle. It could not have been any nicer.
An immersive tour of the Amazon Jungle. Thanks to Rose for making this a memorable experience from start to end. We booked the tour before reaching Peru and they took care of every little thing. Accomodation was very nice and cozy, food were delectable and the guide was incredible. This was certainly a highlight of our trip in Peru.
Embarked on the 4-day Tambopata tour with Paradise Yakari Amazon Tours alongside friends. Truly a journey into nature's heart! The wildlife sightings were astounding, and the guides were top-notch - both passionate and knowledgeable. Unforgettable bonding amidst the Amazon's beauty. Wholeheartedly recommend for an immersive adventure!
