We leave from your accommodation in Puerto Madryn to the Isthmus Ameghino Visitor Center. During the tour we will enjoy the terrestrial fauna and it will be necessary to pay for one time an income which is not included in the value of the excursion.
We started from the Istmo Ameghino Visitor Center and according to recent conditions and activities, the guide already defined the place where the Orcas Vigil would be held (Punta Norte or Caleta Valdes). At no time of the year and not even having all the given conditions we can ensure the sighting. Patience and understanding that it is free and wild fauna are key to this proposal, so if you travel with children or feel that it is a proposal without guarantees, you should consider it at the time of hiring. The beach is divided into different sectors creating channels through which the Orcas can, at high tide, surprise with their presence, reaching the shore in an instant.
We start our return to the city appreciating again the terrestrial fauna of the place. Upon arrival in the city we go to your accommodation thus ending the contracted service.
The excursion we did was to try and spot orcas in península Valdés. Sadly enough they didn’t show up but Facundo made up for it by showing us everything the peninsula had to offer. We saw incredible wildlife and the whole day was a dream come true. We also went in low season which made everything super peaceful because it was just us and Facundo in nature. Overall 10/10 experience fully recommend
We didn't see orca but we already knew it was a bit of a long shot. Nevertheless it was a good day out and Hugo did his best to give us a great experience. I would say this is a high quality professional company. Good communication and we enjoyed our day with Hugo. He is passionate, knowledgeable, informative and all round good guy. We learned a lot about the fauna, flora, history and culture of the area. Thank you. We enjoyed our time.
Facundo was excellent. We were fortunate enough to see Orca's at the very start once we arrived at Valdes amd Facundo provided a ton of insight to the other native wildlife to the region. Great tour!

The orca watch was excellent. In addition, we saw an incredible diversity of fauna, such as guanacos, penguins, wolves and elephant seals, armadillos, cuices. You could see the passion of Facundo, the guide, for animals and, above all, orcas, explaining in great detail every point we visit and animal we see.

I found in Animal Travel one of the things that I think one seeks from an agency of excursions and outings to tour landscapes and nature. It's passion and dedication in what they do. From their attention, both through their communication channels, and in person at their place, it was always excellent as explained by the options and alternatives in the departures. Then that is transferred to the guides and their equipment which is also a level service, with well equipped and comfortable units that make the tour even better. They are in the details, which is not easy and give an explanation of what one is seeing and is to be seen. What if it was to my liking, of course I am satisfied and so I would choose them again in some future visit to Madryn. In short, it was two outings with Animal Travel that I was completely satisfied with. Until the next visit.....

It was an amazing trip. The animal guys through try a lot so you can have a sighting, they are communicating on the radios and it is quite an experience. You have to be very patient and be aware that you may not get to see the killer whales because they are in a natural state.
Not to be missed, don't go to Madryn without this experience , the tour lasts about two hours, wear coat!. Do together with the Valdes Peninsula tour full day
All perfect luckily! I went with Hugo to the orca vigil in Caleta Valdes! Just the day of the week they didn't want to show up! But the experience and warmth of it; and above all the place was wonderful, and knowing that they can be in their habitat and decide when and how they want to eat and enjoy their freedom, the experience becomes unique. The sunset and wait until the last minute we could, we stayed and almost gave us the key the stopper! Super recommended! Thank you.

I was hoping to see killer whales, then Cecilia, who was our guide, I take the opportunity to comment that she is extremely attentive, with very broad knowledge of the subject and the best love wave. He always told us that it was fortuitous to see them, sometimes you see others not, that under my hopes, however, we saw many beautiful landscapes and spectacular wildlife. I felt super comfortable the whole tour. After we got to Punta Norte and there were the orcas... the truth was majestic, I don't think there can be a word that describes seeing them in their natural habitat. They stayed for a long time in the area, and the tour lasted for more than half an hour at that stop, which we all appreciated heartily. I'd tour a thousand times more.

Fantastic. I made 2 trips with Animal Travel and exceeded my expectations. I went to Caleta Valdés (we saw Orcas) and Punta Norte. Beautiful places. I liked it so much that I hired another trip with them to Isla Escondida and Punta Tombo to see the penguins. The guides and drivers are excellent (René, Nicolas, Cecilia and Hugo). They know a lot about the history of the place and the fauna. Leave the tour enriching. It was fantastic. I thank everyone for providing me with such unforgettable and wonderful moments. When travelling alone it is essential to have an agency to take you safely and with such special and professional people.

Incredible super personalized experience. We had an amazing day looking for the orcas, we had no luck, but we enjoyed it so much and saw so many spectacular landscapes and so much free fauna that in the end not having seen them was a detail. Our guide Facundo made sure we had a great time, always attentive, answering all our questions with patience and enthusiasm and telling us everything. Very grateful to animal travel who also looked for the best day and time so we could enjoy more. It is a highly recommended experience to explore the peninsula and spend a beautiful day.

Puerto Pirámides is a charming place, I hope to return during whale season, and the cove is majestic, everything was very nice
patience, luck and we saw the orcas. The tour began at the madrygada. It was worth it! Facu was attentive to everything.
