Nice room, location & secure parking

- 🏨 Lovely décor throughout the hotel, but it could do with some maintenance. For example, the mirror in our room was broken. - 🚪 The room felt quite small, and the walls seemed very thin. Unfortunately, I could hear noise from neighbouring rooms, which made it difficult to sleep. - 📍 Great location, very close to the city centre. - 🐾 Pet-friendly, which is a nice bonus. - 🚗 The parking spaces are far too narrow. Another guest's car damaged my door because there wasn't enough room to open doors comfortably. - 🌇 The rooftop terrace offers stunning views and was definitely the highlight of the stay. - 🍽️ Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. - 🎤 The live singer on the terrace was not to our taste and detracted from the overall experience.

A couple of years back, I would stay in a hotel for two nights and then move on to another hotel. The intention was to check the beds for comfortability. You see, in Mexico, regardless of price, many hotels budget to luxury get harder bed mattresses because they last longer. At the same time I was doing this, I was visiting other hotels to check out the beds. I fell in love with Hotel Tamara. The rooftop terraza is just wonderful. It is my favorite place to go for drinks, and to view the centro historico buildings. And to watch the moon rise. For person sensitive to hard beds (like me), I find the beds here too hard for my personal taste. As much as I love every other aspect of this hotel, I would look to another place with beds more to my liking. But. If this is not an issue for you, I highly recommend Tamara.
