The guides on this trip completely made the experience. They were supportive and knowledgeable and caring and funny all the way up the volcano. They knew how to keep morale up while also pushing us. I felt safe the whole time.

This is a tough climb but it was fully worth it. The guides, Felipe and Richard, are fantastic, they really work so hard in all conditions to make the ascent as comfortable as possible. On the mountain the conditions change so fast and they helped us adapt and make it to the summit safely. They took so many beautiful photos of the group and the experience without even us having to ask. Thanks to them we have wonderful memories of the experience. The gear they provide is fulsome. We climbed in the snow mid-October, which was demanding, but as a reward we got to slide down, which was a lot of fun. The views from the top are amazing and got to look down into the active volcano crater :)

Although I am an avid runner, the experience was tough, but unforgettable Our guide Felipe was forthcoming, motivating and allowed me to exceed myself (by carrying my bag for the leg ot the ascent). Strongly recommend!

A brilliant day. Our guide Felipe was excellent throughout - was clear with safety instructions, fun to chat to and an all round great guy. Our clothes and bags were waiting for us ready at the store and the post hike snacks and drinks topped off the day. One of those experiences you can truly say was worth every cent (peso).

The hike was amazing we I had the luck to have the perfect weather and the guide was very friendly and well experienced. All of the gear needed was supplied by the agency and the views where unbelievable on the way down we used sleds to skip most of the descend.An amazing experience I would recommend anyone who loves the outdoors to do at least once in there live

Climbing Volcano Villarica was truly an amazing experience. The views from the beginning of the trek all the way through and at the end were phenomenal. Like nothing I’ve seen before and I can’t wait for my next trek. We had great help in Sebastian as we were a bit on the slow side he was able to time everything to perfection and allow our team to take ample breaks and still get to the crater in time at the top. Truly amazing, highly recommend terra volcano and their team and once again thank you Sebastian.

We had a great day on the Volcano. The guides were true professionals. They were hands on but not overbearing, and kept great pacing for the abilities of the group. They knew the mountain extremely well, and managed and conditions excellently. Sebastián, Richard, Camila, and Matías, hats off for a great day with perfect execution from start to finish!

This company is really fantastic! From the start, they were communicative through WhatsApp and are easy to find (you just park in the plaza where their office is- it was so easy that we thought we were doing something wrong). Basically everything is provided for you minus food, water, hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (I would wear 2 pairs of hiking socks and go a half size up in boots since the boots you need and that they provide are not your personal ones). If you are a casual hiker, the ascent is hard but doable and I found it really challenging; no idea how difficult it might be for avid hikers who are used to day-long hikes up mountains. The guides are AMAZING- they are super attentive and making sure everyone is safe at all times (there are definitely parts where I was thinking how I did I get myself here). They speak fluent English, so I always knew exactly what to do and how to stay safe, myself. They were incredibly helpful in applying all the different equipment and even putting away some of it; they also provided super clear directions on how to use everything- I understood everything about how to use ice picks and crampons despite never having used any of them before. The trek has absolutely beautiful views and had amazing features that I had never seen before. Even if the conditions are cloudy, the volcano summit will likely have some wind that will blow away the vapors for great views into the crater. Coming down was fantastic with the most sledding I've ever done in my life! The transport to and from the volcano is quite brief, and they had some tasty refreshments when we returned to the office. This trip was absolutely worth the price!

I went for a guided ascent with the Terra Volcano Agency on the 05/04/2026. The guided ascent to the summit of the Villarrica volcano was perfectly delivered from start to finish. At all times I felt comfortable and safe under the guide of Seba and Camila, who made sure no one was left behind, that equipment was correctly fitted/adjusted before and during the hike and who took tonnes of really nice photos of me, my friend and everyone in the group. On the da only 1 out of 5 of the customers participating in the same group tour as me had hiked mountains before, and we all felt safe during the ascent and completed it. After the tour we were pleasantly received back at the office and surprised with much appreciated refreshments of Beer, grapes, biscuits, fruit, juice and limoncello. The agency was very thoughtful and afterwards formed a group chat with everyone, so all the photos taken could be shared between group members.

It was an absolutely incredible experience, very very hard but so worth it! We had 2 amazing guides Sebastian y Luciano who made us feel very safe the full time. 100% would recommend doing this tour with this company!

Amazing day summiting Villarricca with our fantastic guides Sebastian, Philippe and Nacho. The guys were very professional and organised and had a great mix of prioritising safety and comfort whilst also having fun along the way- I couldn’t recommend them enough!

This was a great and memorable excursion to the top of the volcano. Our guides were wonderful. Very supportive and encouraging especially during the climb. The sled rides down the mountain were awesome. The whole tour was great. I was the last one in our group to get to the top and there was always someone with me. You need to be in fairly good shape and if you are you will enjoy this trip

The guides were very approachable and professional at the same time. Our weather circumstances were not amazing, and they gave all their efforts to get every one of us safely back to the start of the hike. We felt very safe with them. There was also time for laughs and jokes, and they took photos and videos, which was a nice plus. Afterwards there was a nice 'celebration' in the office, including drinks and snacks. Thank you so much for the experience!

This was one of the best activities I have done in South America. It was well organized and the staff were professional, fun and caring. I'm an older traveller and they offered to take my pack towards the end of the hike up. I loved the snow sliding down and using crampons for the first time. The Pisco sour at the end was a treat. I would highly recommend this agency

We had an incredible day on Villarrica volcano with Terra Volcano. Richard, Fran, and Mathias were extremely professional guides who made us feel safe and supported throughout the entire day. We were given good quality equipment to use and they helped us to put it on when required on the mountain. They tailored the route we took to the conditions on the mountain and were knowledgeable about the volcano and its history. Sliding down was incredibly fun, and the guides supported us all so we felt comfortable and could fully enjoy this unique experience. We thought the tour was very good value for money, and appreciated the drinks and snacks back at the office when we were all back safe and sound. This allowed us to reflect on our experience with the other two couples we met on the trip.

This tour exceeded expectations!! Not only the incredible views but the guides were super friendly and made sure we were well supported and comfortable with each part of the tour! All of the equipment was provided. We returned to the agency to be welcome by beers, sours, juices and snacks - a lovely way to chill and reflect on an awesome day! Would 100% recommend this trip and specifically with this tour company.

The best guides ever!! It was a hard hike for me and they make sure you will get up, safely and happy even if it takes some convincing and humor. The cake and treats at the very end was especially nice touch

It was a really amazing experience. There were many guides guiding the path toward the volcano. So, like, each group has a different speed to climb up the mountain. So if you are fast or if you are slow, you don't have to worry. And all the equipments were ready, like shoes or equipments that you need to climb up the mountain that has snow on the surface. And you only need to bring your water and food and the clothes for climbing up the mountain. The guides were really friendly and explained about the geography well, and they took a lot of beautiful pictures. I really recommend you to try climbing up the mountain with this team.
