Turks And Caicos Private Beach Horseriding Experience

We wanted to love this but the condition of the horses made it very difficult to enjoy. Very thin with many saddle sores on them. The guides were friendly and hardworking but I question the safety of the experience. No guide on a horse and we had a horse gallop off out of sight with one of our children. Sadly only two of the 5 of us were offered to go into the water at the very end. It was a very expensive disappointment. I appreciate the hard work of the guides but cannot recommend. These horses deserve better.

We had a great time. We were a group of 6 private tour for one hour. The guys took our pictures and were very accommodating. At the beginning they offered water and at the end fresh coconut water. We now have many memorable pictures.

Memorable experience!! Very tame horses and attentive support staff. Easy to steer and learn. Getting into the waves was exhilarating. Great photos.

Amazing sunset ride with my daughter who always wanted to ride a horse on the beach. The staff immediately recognized she was an accomplished rider and let her and her horse run into the sunset. Truly a dream come true for her and an amazing thing to watch! I enjoyed a slow walk on my horse! Thank you to Jerry and his great staff for a wonderful experience!! I highly recommend this excursion!

If ya truly amazing! I did it last time with a different company and although it was fun (how can riding horses not be,) they did not do the “extra things.” They picked us up from the resort and brought us back. The supplied cold water after, sparkling apple cider and fresh coconuts to drink out of! They were truly amazing!

We had a fantastic adventure today with 7P-Jey-Horse. 6 of us got to ride beautiful happy horses up and down the beach, trotting, going in the water, and taking awesome pictures and videos. Everyone had smiles the entire time! Highly recommended!!

Riding in the crystal blue ocean has been a dream and this experience was perfect !

I booked only 2 hours before the start. Jerry reached out immediately and their driver picked me up 90 minutes later, right on time! Everything went flawlessly. The beach was fairly private so it was a really nice, private, relaxed ride. I loved riding in the water. My horse was named John and he was very chill, and looked well cared for. Overall a great experience. Thanks!

I was excited to learn it was just me on the tour! The pick up was good as well as the ride. The horses were calm and made the experience enjoyable. The beach was beautiful from the start of the ride and the tour guides made sure i was okay and even got some great photos and videos for me! Highlight of my solo trip!

What amazing time with a private horseback riding by the beach. As first time riders, team was patient and explained well. I would recommend them anytime. Pick up from hotel was on time and drop off. We were served fresh coconut water after the ride as we were relaxing by the beach!

This tour was fantastic! We did it with my family - two adults and three kids (9) (7) and (3)! They walked right beside us, held on to my three year old the whole time. It was such an incredible experience. The kids haven’t stopped talking about it. I highly recommend.

I had an amazing riding experience with Provo Ponies on Turks and Caicos. They have a great herd of horses and they take care of them well (thats important to me). We had a group of riders with different skill levels and t hey accomodated all of us. The ride is a ten minute walk down a quiet rode andthen a path to the beach. Once on the beach,you get to take the horses right into the ocean. Thehorses love it and I had to coax my hoirse out of thge water at the end, he wantged t play more n thge warm water. We spent around 30 minutes walking or trotting inthe water and then walked back to the barn. All of us, even the beginner, had an amazing time. I highly recommend this operation. They create a great experience and care deeply about their animals.

The best in the island. These guys are amazing. The horses are beautiful and calm. This is a must do experience wonderful staff.

This was so unbelievably disappointing for my partner and I. The day started by mounting VERY malnourished horses. They should be reported for the abuse. Then we were constantly asked if we were “okay” as if they knew how terrible this experience was. We booked the private 60 minute experience, which advertised we would be on the horse until 11:30am. We were back at our villa (15 minutes away) by 11:15. They also advertised that we would have the opportunity to trot and canter. When asked when we would be able to do so, they responded with “no” and no further explanation. We never swam with the horses, they brought us about 3 feet in the water. Took 2 pictures and then had us finish the “tour.” I have never been so disappointed with a purchase and shame on them for being comfortable looking at those poor horses and feeling okay about it. Truly terrible. I had to apologize to my partner after, which is the exact opposite of what you want for our most “romantic” experience on this trip. The grade I would give is an F. Complete failure

This was a truly memorable experience for my daughter and me! They picked us up at our hotel, and we rode along the beach, and then we rode in the water! The horses were very calm, and well kept, healthy and beautiful. Our guides were fantastic - they took pictures and videos of us that we will treasure from our amazing first adventure in Turks!!! Highly recommend this experience!!

Was a great experience . I loved that they kept the ride free and safe at the same time with my two kids 6 and 5. We all had so much fun. Beautiful and very well trained horses too

Awesome experience with my two girls 5 and 6 years old. It felt safe and free at the same time. The weather was windy but the horses were very good and kept us very comfortable on it. Thank you very much!

My 11yo daughter and I went on a private 60 minute beach horseback ride. We had so much fun and it was absolutely beautiful! Our guides were very nice, knowledgeable and fun. They even picked up a beautiful conch shell and gave it to my daughter. I am a big animal advocate, so I am always weary about how the animals are being cared for. But the horses all appeared healthy , happy and well cared for. They had 2 fresh coconuts waiting for us to drink the coconut water at the end and cold bottles of water. The booking was super easy and they even picked us up at our hotel and drove us back to our hotel. I would highly recommend this company!!! 5 stars !!!!

Excellent experience! Wonderful horse caretakers: welcoming and fun! We had a blast! Pictures are great! Maybe if you have inexperienced riders just clarify to teachers/guides beforehand.

Highly recommend, especially as a private experience if you’re looking to get pictures and videos. They took TONS of pictures/videos for us, communicated with us prior and morning of, provided transportation, and were great to work worth. A wonderful experience!

The staff was amazing and attentive. I felt completely safe with Michel by my side, and Stevenson leading the way I was picked up, and returned to my hotel. When i was done, they served me Coconut Milk, and we visited for awhile. Riding a horse in the water was a first for me. I highly recommend this family operation. We did the private 60 minutes ride with my daughter and we loved it! They were such a nice people and even let my daughter go swim and go fast on the horse since she rides and competes. I was a complete beginner and they kept me safe and went slow. Highly recommend! Good job and thank you

Jerry and his staff provided an experience of a life time! It was a seamless process from start to finish - easy to book, transportation to and from our resort, riding and swimming with horses only to finish with some coconut water and Champagne! We were 2 adults and 2 8 year old boys. We all had an absolute blast! The horses were so sweet and loved swimming in the ocean. Cannot recommend 7p-Jey-Horse more! Book this excursion!! I can assure you’ll be guided through the entire process even if you’ve been on a horse once or several times. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and checked on everyone the entire time. They’ll even take beautiful pics and videos with your own personal phone and they know their angles lol. Again, book with them you will not be disappointed. Last but not least, they provide cold water and a coconut that was refreshing.

Celebrated my 40th birthday riding these beautiful horses on the beach with my family. At first, I was nervous and having a hard time adjusting, but one of the very friendly guides stayed by my side until I was able to do so alone; from that point on the experience was so much fun! We were provided private roundtrip transportation, bottled water, freshly chopped coconut water, a beautiful rose, and multiple photo ops. A very memorable way to celebrate my birthday. Thank you!

Know what you are getting. There is no professional photographer. The complimentary photoshoot is someone using your phone. I got a lot of photos but the angles could have been much more flattering.

My wife and I are on our Honeymoon and this was an incredible early afternoon excursion. The team handling the horses were pros- they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had some awesome pictures to capture the ride. 10/10 !!

My mom and I did this together and it was absolutely amazing! The water was so incredibly beautiful, the guides were very patient as we hadn’t ridden a horse in a while and were there for every step of the way, just in case. They took plenty of amazing photos ensuring that we got some great pictures. Even though it seems a little pricey it was definitely worth it and we would do it again! They also provided shuttle service too and from which was definitely helpful too. Out of the three excursions we did this one was definitely the best!!! Thank you guys so much! Can’t wait to do it again!

What an incredible experience it was! Definitely a must-do on the island. There’s nothing quite like riding a horse and getting your feet and legs soaked in the crystal-clear waters while enjoying breathtaking views. Our guides were incredibly friendly and professional, and they ended our trip with a refreshing glass of wine and a beautiful rose. Thank you so much, guys! We had an amazing time.

I am deeply shocked and saddened by the condition of the horses used for guided tours at this place. I have never seen horses so thin and in such poor health. It was horrifying. My friends and I immediately decided not to go on the ride because of the conditions these poor animals were in. We explained our decision to the owners, who refunded us, but the most disturbing part is that they are fully aware of the state of their horses… and yet they continue to use them. This is clear animal abuse. I strongly discourage anyone who cares about animal welfare from supporting this place. It is unacceptable to see horses being exploited in such a critical condition. I sincerely hope that action will be taken to help them.

The guides were wonderful! My 9 years old loved it but I was a bit scared. They were constantly making sure I was okay. The location was beautiful and no one else was on the beach making very special.

We had a great time! They picked us up from our villa, and even had wine for us after riding. We couldn’t get in the water due to something out of their control but we still had fun! Definitely recommend!

The horses were well trained calm and easy to ride. Scenery was beautiful and the horses went in the water. The people were nice. It was a great experience.

Wow! Wow! The absolute favorite activity of our whole trip! First of all the booking was seamless because of Jerry. When we arrived the staff was ready for us. A precious little girl introduced us to our horses. The horses were very gentle. My aunt is a bit weak these days and the staff stepped right in and guided her along the ride. The location was beautiful. The horses rode well in the water’s edge. The staff took pictures and videos for us and sent them directly to us. At the end of the ride they gave us fresh coconuts and took group pictures with us. The precious little girl sang happy birthday to my aunt in the most beautiful voice! We visited with the staff and laughed and had so much fun!! Thank you for making memories with us that we will talk about for years to come.

Brought my daughter for her 17th birthday! Enjoyed it! Provided transportation! Was a little nervous at first but the were very familiar with the horses and never left our side.

The views were amazing. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating! They even surprise us at the end with a refreshing coconut fresh off the beach, which was so cool! And the photos were great.
